Weird thought on the great transformer war.
I wonder if antagonistic human politicians ever logically pointed out that the autobots and the cons make an effective extortion racket
Intended or n9f once caught up in the war the firepower and resource extraction mean their trajectory as a species bends to cybertron
Moreso if like in your take the planet is dead and dependent on "imports" to stay in critical condition and all the real fighting out system
How, aside from personality the cons and bots not end same if not for the ridiculously sacrificing nature of Optimus leaving such a good impression
Mireso if dome plot device of the week by quints shows autobots can have different thoughts to the u I personas present to outsiders
Moreso if both sides disdain organics
Oooh, that's a good idea!

Starshadow's All-Star team (Movie)
Tumblr media
After the events of Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers sets 6 months from the very beginning of Starshadow's All-Stars to the Rescue movie.
Since Starshadow Skystalker is enlisted from Hollywood in Los Angeles, California, went on a three-month filming of Transformers Equestria Girls during the day where Sweet Pete's return. Starshadow needs help to stop Sweet Pete to form an elite team during the Declaration of United Animation of Reality as All-Star team.
They were the first volunteers to help the All-Star who help with:
The Penguins of Madagascar (Skipper, Rico and Private were the helpers of Starshadow for combat fighting. And Kowalski is the science officer of the Delta Shadow)
Sci Twi and Sunset Shimmer from My Little Pony: Equestria Girls (Since they found Starshadow after the Save Equestria Girls' donation at May)
Donkey from Shrek (Based on Sweet Pete's recycable of Shrek's marketing)
Jar Jar Binks and R5-D4 from Star Wars (Since he was on vacation of Dubai during Ugly Sonic at FanCon and Starshadow's new droid ally)
Donatello from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012 Variant) who helps Starshadow to becoming his assistant in the transporter room from Delta Shadow
Kevin Stuart and Bob from Minions (Additional crewmembers)
They were the first teammates to enter the starship, Delta Shadow as Starshadow must stop Sweet Pete as Sci Twi's discovery as she created the cure to heal Sweet Pete's back to normal as Peter Pan himself.

Random Transformers Thought
RANDOM TRANSFORMERS THOUGHT
Had a sudden brainstorm for my Transformers fancon, and had to share it.
So, it's been yonks since I posted anything about my fancon and I’m not sure I ever got to this part, but one of my ideas is that Optimus Prime is A: the commanding general or marshal or whatever the correct word is of the Autobots. He is also, as far as the Autobots are concerned, the legitimate Head of State of Cybertron. And he's the spiritual leader of whatever the term is for the dominant Transformer religion. And quite a few of the vast network of alien allies the Autobots depend on for logistical support are willing to provide said support despite the war having been a stalemate for geologic time because OP's wisdom, courage, and personal conviction and dedication to the cause (not to mention his awesome combat prowess, considerable personal charisma, and a certain gift for speechifying) won them over.
And while Megatron personally hates OP's metaphorical guts due to their falling out millions of years ago (which was mostly Megatron's own fault, but that's not important) and thus would like nothing more than to kill Optimus himself in personal combat... unlike some other evil overlords, he's not gonna let that stop him from doing anything to remove his most dangerous opponent from the board. Like say, having him assassinated.
That said, as mentioned before, OP is a certified, grade-A badass. He can absolutely handle himself, and the idea of having one or more of the tiny handful of Autobots who are tougher than he is spending time bodyguarding him when they could've kickin' 'Con aft where he isn't isn't something OP would be onboard with.
So, his Chief of Security isn't Ironhide or Ultra Magnus or Impactor. It's Rattrap.
OK, I decided that years ago. My new concept? Rattrap was recommended for the position by Ultra Magnus, who before the War was Cybertron's top cop, and before that, when he was patrolling the streets, Rattrap was his archnemesis, someone he knew was involved in all manner of illegal activities, but who never saw more than a few hours in a cell because no matter how hard he looked, Ultra could never find any proof.
And so, when the time came to find someone with the kind of sneaky, suspicious mind it would take to sniff out any and all plots to murder Optimus by stealth, Ultra knew exactly who had what it takes.

Random Transformers Thought
So, in my Transformers fancon, which one day I’m just gonna post the whole thing here, instead of self-RBing the first couple bits again, Optimus Prime wears a bunch of metaphorical hats; as Prime, he is both a religious leader and a political one. He is also, unfortunately, serving as commander-in-chief of an interstellar war. Said role also requires him to be a diplomat, since I’m imagining the Autobots maintain a vast network of allies who are willing to support the cause of not being conquered and/or genocided by the Decepticons, but also, y’know, are not going to just blindly do what the Autobots say. Also, in addition to being in overall command of war strategy, he’s also a skilled battlefield commander, and of course is the biggest badass in the universe. Upshot, he travels around a lot, but he also needs an extensive support staff, and they double as a crack combat team.
(I swear, I’ll get to the point eventually)
In general, in that last capacity, OP and Co. tend to show up where they’re most needed, IE where the ‘Cons have the upper hand. So, uh, remember how in the OG BDM, where OP showing up instantly turned the Battle of Autobot City from a near-victory for the ‘Cons to a total rout? Basically, that’s what happens 90% of the time he and his crew show up, except without, y’know, the him dying part, obviously.
This has been happening consistently for millions of years. At this point, most ‘Con commanders are aware that when OP shows up, their options immediately default to surrender, retreat, or die. But, well, if you surrender or retreat when you were winning, that looks an awful lot like cowardice in the face of the enemy. And in Megatron’s army, that’s a death penalty offense. I mean, Megs himself is aware that it’s the only rational option a lot of the time, but he’s not going to personally intervene to stop, say, Tarn and his goons from horribly murdering an officer just because he actually made the right call. Or if whoever is directly above you decides that this is a good way of eliminating a potential threat to their position. Or whoever is directly below decides it’s a good excuse to take yours, etc.
So, you have to make at least a token effort at fighting OP first. But, of course, if your name isn’t Megatron, actually trying to fight Optimus Prime is basically a form of suicide. So, the usual thing to do is to set-up some sort of trap or ambush.
The thing is, as mentioned, OP and his team are really, really good at this. Which means that most of the time, OP knows it’s a trap or ambush which means it’s quite simple for him to turn the tables. Anyways, he does this so often, that the phrase “revers ambush“ is a standard part of the Autobot tactical lexicon.
Err, anyways, is this completely incoherent, or does it, as intended, convey that OP is a badass?

My Transformers Headcanon: A short bit
One of the reasons the Terrabots like the Witwickys is that they have a high concentration of what, to TFs, are normal person names: Spike, Sparkplug, Buster, Jack. Actual proper names made of actual proper words that have actual proper meanings. OK, they don’t seem to reflect the people who carry them any but they’re better than most humans.
I mean...”Carly“? “Mikaela“? “Lennox”? “Epps”? “Fanzone”? “Sumdac”? None of these are words, they’re just random syllables smashed together randomly, what the heck kind of names are those?!

My Transformers Fancon: Insecticons, Part II
-Kickback of Polyhex transforms into a giant robotic locust. The Insecticons' scout, he comes off as friendly and affable, even charming, especially in comparison to his vicious teammates. Behind his genial affect, however, lurks the mind of manipulative sociopath who relentlessly seeks out secrets and vulnerabilities which he exploits ruthlessly. -Jetstorm of Tesarus transforms into a giant robotic dragonfly. His role is to provide air support for the Insections. A skilled bombardier and expert dogfighter with the ability to spit streams of deadly acid, Jetstorm revels in his ability to rule the skies. The only thing he loves more than shredding other fliers is obliterating ground-bound bots, whom he considers to be pathetic worms beneath contempt.

My Transformers Fancon: The Story, part IV
Shockwave quickly takes stock of the situation and comes up with a plan. Not being one for subtlety, said plan is fairly direct; she orders Shrapnel, Kickback, and Bombshell to produce a small army of Insecticlones. After Shrap, 'Shell, and 'Back have recovered (there's a reason they don't spawn clones willy-nilly; it takes a lot out of 'em), she dispatches said Insecticlones to  attack the Ark. When this force is defeated, she immediately sends the Gaiacons to make an attack. When they too are defeated, she sends the Insecticons. Tarantulas and Co. are likewise defeated, but the Terrabots, etc. are exhausted and thus no match for Shockwave when she launches an assault by herself. Said assault is devastating, leaving half the 'Bots in stasis lock* and the rest in needing  serious time in a CR chamber. As Shockwave proceeds to bull her way through the Ark's auto-defenses, a desperate Alpha Trion (he can still fight, and fight well, but his advanced age means that his stamina is very limited; also, no one wants to risk losing him) takes out the Key to Vector Sigma and tries something drastic. When Shockwave confronts the old bot and demands that he turn over Nova Prime's corpse, he politely explains that this is impossible. Because he'd just used the Key to retrieve Nova's Spark from the Well of All Sparks and put it back in his body. Shockwave is then tossed into a bulkhead by the revivified Nova. Faced with the greatest warrior in Cybertronian history, Shockwave does the logical thing and retreats. *And possibly some dead, I haven't decided yet; thoughts?

My Transformers Fancon, Part XVIII
Even with Orion Pax out of the picture, the political situation didn't stabilize. On the one hand, the combination of trade with other species and off-world colonies was relieving the energon shortage; though they weren't at the same level of prosperity Cybertron had experienced under Guardian Prime, the economy was definitely over the hump. However, while they may have fixed the economy, off-world trade and emigration had opened up entirely new social cans of worms. Meanwhile, Functionist-Decepticon tensions had already reached the point of no return; there was too much bad blood between the factions for reconciliation. Adding in the Autobots, who remained a factor under the leadership of Emirate Xaaron, Iacon's representative on the Council of Elders, and a showdown was inevitable. Zeta Prime recognized this, and determined to take advantage of the situation. Though he'd made some major political blunders in the early stages of his campaign against Proteus, he'd long since learned from them, slowly building a network of supporters in both the Senate and the Council. When Megatron announced his candidacy in the upcoming Senatorial elections, Zeta saw an opportunity to finally realize his goal. He sent out feelers to the Decepticon leader, who accepted the Prime's overtures despite his personal disdain.  Megatron won the election rather handily, and the newly-minted Senator's first action was to introduce a measure to formally eject Proteus from the Senate. Zeta, of course, backed the measure to the hilt, and their combined supporters managed to get it passed. However, Zeta's belief that this was the end of the matter was mistaken. For Proteus still had supporters. And so when Proteus declared that his ejection proved that Cybertron's current government was inherently "nonfunctional", and that he would not recognize it's authority, he was able to deploy an army with which to create his new "Functionist Republic". And thus, the peace that had existed since the Surrender at Tarn was no more.

My Transformers Fancon: Dinobots, Part II
-Strafe of Simfur* transforms into a giant two-headed Quetzalcoatlus. His primary role is to provide air-support, performing both precision strikes and carpet-bombing. For all that he loves the smell of burning wreckage, he's actually a really nice, friendly guy and is the most approachable member of the team. As long as you don't comment on the fact that he has two heads, which he doesn't like talking about. -Swoop of Simfur transforms into a Pteranodon. A swift, agile, keen-eyed master of stealth, Swoop is the team's scout. His job requires a greater degree of subtlety and precision than most of his teammates, and he overcompensates by being a bit of a show-off. He's basically a nice guy, though his showboating tendencies make him a bit less friendly than Strafe. -Skar of Simfur transforms into an Elasmosaurus. The team's medic, he's a gruff, cranky fellow who is more apt to yell at his patients for getting themselves injured than he is to comfort them. Which does not, in any way, shape, or form, indicate that he doesn't care about them; quite the opposite in fact. His secondary specialty is amphibious operations, though for obvious reasons it doesn't come up much. However, if you do get into it with him in the water, you're as good as dead. -Sludge of Simfur transforms into a Apatosaurus. The team's weapons expert, he is both massively huge and armed to the teeth. He's also really, really dumb. Fortunately, he recognizes that he's stupid, and is perfectly willing to do as he's told by his intellectual superiors. -Scorn of  Simfur transforms into a Spinosaurus. All the Dinobots are more comfortable with violence than is usual for followers of the Autobot Code, but Scorn takes it a step further. He revels not only in destruction, but in slaughter. The only thing he loves more than hearing another living thing screaming in agony is making sure that they never scream again. He is, however, completely and utterly loyal to Grimlock. *I want to say that weren't all from Simfur, but for the life of me I can't decide which. BTW, unless someone can give me a compelling reason otherwise, asides from the very male Grimlock, they're all genderless.

My Transformers Fancon: Humans Part I
Brace yourselves, because now it's time for the fleshlings. The usual practice has been to create entirely new human characters for any given continuity, maybe with a "Witwicky" slapped on somewhere. I reject this approach; if we can recycle TFs why not humans?
-Doctor Isaac Sumdac is co-founder and CEO of Sumdac Systems, a massive multinational corporation, and one of the wealthiest and most powerful men in the world. A scientific genius, often hailed as a visionary, Dr. Sumdac's inventions and innovations have changed the face of the 21st Century, which is why people are willing to put up with his many, many eccentricities; he may be hailed as a modern-day Edison, but he's more like Tesla, if you catch my drift. Among his oddities is a constant guilt over not using his intellect in pure research. -G. B. Blackrock is co-founder and CFO* of Sumdac Systems, Dr. Sumdac's best friend and right-hand man. A financial whiz, he's the guy who keeps Sumdac on track and productive despite his partner's eccentricities. Very much concerned with profits and the bottom-line, he's still still basically a decent guy who believes it's important to look after his employees. To soothe Sumdac's scientific conscience, he came up with the idea of funding a not-for-profit Think Tank/Research Foundation, the Blackrock Group. -William Irving Ronald "Sparkplug" Witwicky was one of Sumdac Systems ‘ first workers. Through his aptitude for mechanical engineering, leadership skills, and company loyalty, he has received numerous promotions over the years and thus, by the magic of the Peter Principle, has become director of the Blackrock Group. Despite the white-collar nature of the job, he still thinks of himself as a blue-collar working man. A father of four, his wife died in a car accident twelve years ago; he subsequently remarried to a woman half his age, and adopted her son. -June Witwicky is Sparkplug's second wife. She's a nurse by training and damn good at it; tough and compassionate in equal measure. Her first husband killed himself shortly after their son was born, leaving her to raise him on her own for two years until she met Sparkplug. Despite the difference in their ages, the two fell and love and married. Ten years later, they're still very much in love. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she's also done pretty well as a mother, raising her own son and the younger members of Sparkplug's brood. *I'm not 100% sure about this; corporate hierarchy is not something I'm really familiar with.

My Transformers Fancon: Insecticons, Part III
-Chop Shop of Helex transforms into a giant robotic ?*. He's the Insecticons' medic, having been a trained physician before the war; specifically a transplant surgeon. The need to scrounge for supplies** over the course of the war led to his becoming an accomplished thief. Said thievery eventually bloomed into full-on kleptomania. Needless to say, Chop Shop's teammates have seen no need to help treat his illness, and in fact encourage him. In the last century or so, his compulsion has combined with his old medical specialty in a particularly gruesome fashion. -Barrage of Ibex transforms into a giant robotic ?*.  The Insecticons' heavy weapons specialist, he is utterly without mercy or pity. In fact, he is actively opposed to the very concepts; an enemy with any sort of hope is an enemy who may keep fighting. And that, to Barrage, is unacceptable. Victory can only be achieved when the enemy is completely and utterly obliterated, their corpses reduced to slag and that slag reduced to its component atoms (that he REALLY enjoys doing this is secondary). Thus, while he can be as vicious and cruel as any of his fellows, he's rather straightforward about it. -Ransack of Tagan Heights transforms into a giant robotic ?*. He's something of an oddity amongst his fellows. Unlike the other Insecticons, he's neither sadistic nor psychotic. He'll slaughter and destroy as enthusiastically as any of 'em when ordered to do so, but it doesn't give him any particular jollies. That's not to say doing so bothers him, because it doesn't in the slightest. He just doesn't care. *I'm not sure what these guys' alt-modes should be. Thoughts? **This bears a bit of explaining; Shockwave, as you may recall, does not get along with Cryotek. As a result, when she needs stuff, instead of sending a request to the Quartermaster's office like she's supposed to, she goes over Cryotek's head and appeals directly to Megatron. This pisses Cryotek off, and he retaliates by not adequately supplying her primary minions, the Insecticons, despite their elite status.

Transformers Headcanon/Fanfic I wish I Could Write: My TF Fancon, Part I
So, awhile back I came up with a Transformers fancon (with a bit of help)m they’ve posted in a few places, and I will begin posting here. Note: initially, I attempted to not use gender-specific pronouns for most Cybertronian characters (this was a few years back, before folks settled on “they”, or at least my awareness of same, so I mostly used “it”, which given that TFs are alien robots made a certain amount of sense), as my fancon assumes that for reasons that will be explained shortly,  some TFs are male or female or both, but the majority are without any gender/sex at all. But this was A: surprisingly difficult for me and B: more importantly, several readers complained that they found it annoying to read that way, so I switched to a default of male pronouns (since the relevant characters have traditionally been presented as male). I apologize for any confusion that may ensue. (also I’m pretty sure I get “gender” and “sex” mixed up, sorry about that)
Anyways...
Eons ago, the Transformers comprised a few dozen small tribes of giant mechanical humanoids that transformed into vehicles, traveling between "hot spots", places where Vector Sigma's power periodically erupted from the core of Cybertron to produce Sparks. Upon coming into contact with an active hot spot, members of the said tribe would bud-off protoforms, into which Sparks would be placed, that would subsequently grow into adult TFs. Often there would be more Sparks than protoforms, and the excess would be re-absorbed by Vector Sigma. Then the Quintessons came and conquered the planet, enslaving all but a handful of TFs. They began modifying them, firstly to make them better slaves (from whence came TFs who were small or exceptionally large, TFs with guns or superpowers, TFs who turn into stuff other than vehicles), secondly for the heck of it (hence sexed TFs, and TFs with non-humanoid robot modes), and thirdly to increase their numbers. The Quintessons took samples of CNA and used them to grow cloned protoforms. They altered various TFs to start budding from other stimuli. They placed Sparks in bodies that were built rather than budded, or into existing machines. They nurtured Sparkless protoforms to adulthood (this didn't work out as well). Having found numerous ways to make more bodies, the Quintessons experimented with Sparks. Cutting them apart, merging them together, taking bits from a one and splicing it with another. In time, the number of TFs grew from the high hundreds to the low millions. The Quintessons naturally took steps to ensure those numbers couldn't be used against them. They divided the enslaved TFs into castes based on the type of service they performed, or altmode they held, and turned them against each other. They encouraged the survival of old tribal rivalries, and fanned the flames of new ones. And of course, they told every TF that their method of birth was the best. Thus divided, the frequent rebellions came to nothing. Until the rise of A-3, who worked to bring together TFs of every caste, tribe, and origin; he even recruited the few remaining "wild TFs". Under A-3's leadership, the Transformers rose up together and overthrew their oppressors. But at the moment of triumph, A-3 stumbled. Despite his best efforts, he was unable to maintain their unity without the driving goal of defeating the hated Quintessons. And so, piece by piece, his grand coalition crumbled, leaving a world divided by war.

My Transformers Fancon: Autobot High Command, Part I
-Optimus Prime is Prime, obviously. -Jazz of...(err, I'm not sure) is Prime's second-in-command. He's a charming, gregarious bot, who makes friends easily and finds alien cultures endlessly fascinating, which is helpful as his primary role is running the Diplomatic Corps, creating and maintaining the alliances with alien races that the 'Bots rely on to survive. Which is not to say that he can't bring it on the battlefield, or as a commander, it's just not his primary function. -Prowl of Petrex is Intelligence Chief and one of Prime's top strategists. He's a ruthless pragmatist who's brain is constantly throwing up devious schemes. Still, he's a decent bot at heart, which is why he can pretty much always be counted on to do the right thing when the chips are down. Not a people person. -Elita-1 of Kaon. Once known as Ariel, she was a stevedore at the spaceport. One day, a bot from Iacon joined her shift, by the name of name of Orion Pax. She and Orion became friends. When Orion founded the Autobots, she was one of the first to join up, and ended up being the top 'Bot in Kaon when Orion joined the Primal Vanguard. She managed to mobilize the local branch into a militia when Functionists tried to take the city, and then got the Autobots out safely when the Decepticons turned on them and did take it. Was brainwashed into being the 'Con super-soldier Blackarachnia, but was rescued, deprogrammed and took up her current name*. Is head of Special Operations. One of the most powerful soldiers in the Autobot army, does not grok the concept "give up". Has a whole mess of power-ups; she’s got a pair of drones she can combine with (called Elita-2 and Elita-3), is a Double Targetmaster, and has multiple Pretender shells; more details will be provided later. Is, incidentally, Optimus’ conjunx.
*To elaborate: A few million years into the Great War she was in command of a sector HQ when it got hit by an experimental bioweapon that caused it's victims to painfully mutate into organics, go mad, and then die, a first strike intended to soften them up prior to a major offensive. Ariel was among the infectees, which didn't stop her from setting up a quarantine, getting all but the the most far-gone into stasis pods, ensured that they and the base personnel who were still healthy were evacuated (with samples and data sufficient that Autobot Medical Command could find a cure and vaccine), then led the most heavily infected (who I'll remind you were in the process of dying horrifically) in an epic last stand. As a result, while the 'Cons took the base, their victory was sufficiently Pyrrhic that their offensive was blunted, such that not only were they prevented from advancing but were actually driven back a ways. When the Autobots reclaimed the spot, all they found was rubble and a few bodies too mutated to identify. As a result, Ariel was presumed dead. In reality, when the 'Cons took the base, she was somehow still alive and sane, despite her illness having reached what was normally the terminal stage. Realizing that she had a unique opportunity to infiltrate the Decepticon bioweapons program, she allowed herself to be captured alive. As she had planned, Tarantulas, who created the bioweapon in question, was impressed by her resiliency and had her requisitioned as a test subject. Following an infusion of Dark Energon (to keep her alive), the insertion of a shell-program (to keep her sane despite the infection and the Dark Energon), the Warriors Elite had a new, half-organic member. Though suppressed by the shell-program and corrupted by the Dark Energon and the infection, Ariel's true personality was still present and spent a very long time subtly influencing Blackarachnia, leaving behind a trail of breadcrumbs that allowed the Autobots to realize her true identity. Upon making this discovery, Prowl personally planned and carried out a rescue operation, though being Prowl he hid this from Optimus until Blackarachnia had been captured. Optimus subsequently used the Matrix to cleanse her of the infection and the Dark Energon, allowing the Autobot Medics to safely remove the shell-program. She spent quite a bit of time in recovery, but eventually returned to duty under her new name.

Transformers Headcanon/Fanfic: My Transformers Fancon, Part VII
A couple million years before the death of Guardian Prime, a young bot  named Trannis was born in Tarn, with a Constructed body and Spliced Spark. Having a drill alt-mode, it naturally became a miner, but this quickly proved to be unfulfilling, so the youngster applied to and was accepted at the medical program at Kaon's prestigious Colossus Academy (named after the Alpha Colossus, a monumental statue of Alpha Prime that Guardian erected over the ruins of Darkmount when it rebuilt the city; Guardian was not entirely above petty vengeance). Despite being one of the most challenging and competitive medical programs on Cybertron, this too proved unable to keep the young bot's mind stimulated. Instead, the med-student turned to the heavily regulated gladiatorial arenas that Guardian had reluctantly allowed to be built in Kaon. This was a step in the right direction, but wasn't quite there. Eventually, Trannis found it's way instead to the completely unregulated, and thoroughly illegal, fighting pits, first as a spectator, and then as a participant under the name of a demon from ancient folkore: Megatron. Megatron excelled at its new hobby, and spent more and more time in the pits. Naturally, it's instructors noticed their erstwhile star pupil missing classes and sporting combat injuries when it did attend. Megatron was called before a review board, expelled from the Academy, and handed over to the authorities. But rather than prison, Megatron found itself placed in the custody of Emirate Xeon, Kaon's highly corrupt representative to the Council of Elders. Xeon explained that he'd been paid to bring about Megatron's release by a wealthy fellow named Cryotek, AKA Black Shadow's top guy in Kaon. Megatron was rather puzzled that the king of the local underworld would be interested in it, and sought an audience. Aggressively. Facing down the barrel of Megatron's arm-cannon, Cryotek coughed up the truth. It wasn't just a gangster, it was a member of a secret society of hardcore Destron loyalists that had gone underground after the Surrender of Tarn, a secret society that had arranged for Megatron's body to be built to exact specifications and its Spark to be spliced from those of the greatest Destron warriors. Megatron was, in short, built from the ground up to lead a rebirth of the Empire of Destruction. At first, Megatron was reluctant to follow Cryotek's plans; it would make it's own destiny. Megatron returned to the fighting pits and rose to become a champion. It soon found that thrill of battle paled in comparison to the exultation of the crowds, the admiration of the other fighters, the devotion of the dedicated fans. Perhaps, Megatron thought, becoming a leader wouldn't be so bad. And then Guardian Prime died, and Senator Proteus began a clampdown on "knock-offs"...

Transformers Headcanon/Fanfic: My Transformers Fancon, Part III
The newly renamed Prima placed the Matrix in its chest and set out to share the Good News with the rest of Cybertron. It traveled from pole to pole, preaching with fiery eloquence that all TFs are Children of Primus, and that it was the will of their creator that they put aside their differences and join together to build a golden age. Not everyone was willing to let it speak this message, but the new body given it by the Matrix had the strength of a dozen bots, too powerful for any petty tyrant to stop it. As for those who didn't want to hear it, well, Prima'd wear them down with persistence. It forced his way into the palaces of warlords to lecture them on how they needed to change their ways, and walked onto battlefields and demanded that both sides lay down their arms and embrace each other as kin. Prima preached for days on end, not stopping to recharge, not stopping to partake of energon or oil. It preached until its jaw fell off and its vocalizer gave out, and then it held up placards until it was fixed. Even when wounded, Prima kept preaching until it went into stasis-lock, and sometimes it'd just override and keep on going. But for all its inner fire, for all the power of the Matrix, Prima was but alloy and energon, and eventually, its body gave out. By this time, however, it had gathered a small army of devoted followers, and with it's final words it passed on the Matrix to one of the most loyal. In honor of his predecessor, and of the legend that had proceeded him, the new Matrix-Bearer took the name Alpha Prime.

Transformers Headcanon/Fanfic I’d Like To Write: My Transformers Fancon, Part II
A-3, now known as Alpha Trion (having discarded his Quintesson serial number for a proper name after defeating them), does not take his failure at maintaining the anti-Quintesson alliance well. After several failed attempts to fix things, he gave up and went into seclusion. Millions of years later, a young TF participating in a battle over a Hot Spot slays its current opponent and realizes that A: it is the sole survivor of either side, and B: while they've been fighting over it, the Hot Spot was reabsorbed. Standing in a barren field strewn with hundreds of corpses, its own body splattered with the now-cold energon of friend and enemy alike, the youngster was struck by the utter pointlessness, not only of this battle, but all the other battles it'd fought in its young life, and that were no doubt going on all over the world. Having had this epiphany, it decided to do something about it. The young bot set out to find Alpha Trion, hoping to convince the one being to have ever managed unite Cybertron to give it another go. After a rather epic quest, it found him, living in a cave in the Sonic Canyons which happened to be the entrance to Vector Sigma, with which AT was communing. For 113 centuries, the youngster waited outside the cave, before Alpha Trion finally allowed it to enter. Upon being granted entry, the younger bot made its pitch. Alpha Trion said no, and explained why. The other TF made a counter-point. And so it continued, a back-and-forth that got turned into a shouting match...when suddenly Vector Sigma spoke, conferring the will of Primus.
