I wanted to warn you all
(Warning pregnancy update)
I'm officially so close to becoming a mother it is terrifying, but over the past week I've had a painful change that's possibly going to cause some inactivity on my blog.
I'm developing carpal tunnel, and Gods when I tell you all schools do not do it justice when they warn us about proper typing form, I mean it. It's painful, like an almost tingly pins and needles numbness with some super sexy swelling in my hands, and the pain shoots up my arm because ✨️nerves✨️
Evidently, it is super common in pregnancy and in the last trimester, especially. it should go away once the baby is here. We are taking precautions and doing what we can for my comfort, but it might slow me down a little.
I have several drafts ready to go and queueable for after this week, and after the maternity celebration, they just may post more sporadically 💜
Honestly - this is the first annoying complication I have had, so we will take this.

Part of it was just going mad with boredom the first day - it was the second full day of a four day weekend. I'd tried a bunch of other things but being on Tumblr was what was giving the happy chemicals. Esp because that was the day I decided to publish my fanfics. The next two days were not help my me discovering the queue/scheduling feature and realizing "wait the limit of queueable posts is an unreasonable number" (it's 1000, btw. Wtf). So then, because Tumblr put me in post jail for posting too much, I scheduled a BUNCH of posts (like... 50) for the minute or two after the limit rolled over. So then I only had 200 posts to post. And reblogs count. Also a bunch of my posts started blowing up, so I reblogged the coolest reactions.
A moment of congratulations for @frogblast-the-ventcore, who's managed to hit the 250 post limit for 3 consecutive days. I don't know how. Like, seriously, how. I don't think I SEE that many posts in a day. You are an absolute freak, and I respect the absolute hell out of it.

today begins my Month Of Focused Blog Work! i’m pretty excited to see if i can nudge my medicated brain into action. stuff i’ll be working on includes:
answering asks, even really old ones
cataloguing newer fic requests in my ao3 collection
queueing posts from my thousands of saved tabs
clearing posts from my saved tabs that i don’t want to queue
finishing my tv shows page
if there’s time, updating my tags page as well
if there’s time, reanimating my bdays page
so on the one hand, be prepared for that? i’ve been hoarding asks for years, and it’s probably weird to bring those back from the dead, but i’d rather answer them than delete them.
if i make good progress, i might get my inbox down to 200 and my tab hoard down to 2000, and i’ll have a super gorgeous shows page anybody can refer to when they want to know what i’ve seen or love to make stuff for.
#i've got 5500 tabs saved currently but a lot of those are posts related to tv shows and movies on my future watchlist#i think more than half are queueable though#and i've got almost 300 asks now but i think most of them are fic requests really#so we'll see#anyway i want to have different goals in 2022 so i look forward to seeing how much of a dent i can make in preparation#blog stuff#randomness

I see you, bitch, pointedly not following me back after I followed you on one of my blogs, then sloppily combing your way through /ALL/ of my rp blogs for queueable posts and memes to reblog for almost TWO MONTHS.
It was already kind of hurtful when you ignored the answer I gave to an obviously-you-anon message asking who and what my OC was when I first followed you but I let it go, because you’re under no obligation to follow me back or interact with me in any way, shape, or form. It sucked, but that’s just how it goes! So I moved on and happily enjoyed your content as it was from afar.
But then you went on my other oc blog and started reblogging posts I had queued/reblogged there that were gifsets, fanart, or still-shots of Canon Good Leader Character. Posts that were MONTHS old. And sure as shit when I checked to see if you were following me there I couldn’t help but notice that you weren’t. Hm.
Now I’ve fucking caught you on yet another OC blog I have, liking an old and irrelevant post from an artist (whose blog is now deleted) broadcasting they were open for commissions. Unsurprisingly you weren’t following that OC either but when I decided to take a peek at your blog and see what kind of activity you had been up to, I noticed that you had some very familiar looking posts. It took me a second to recognize them but once I did I realized they were posts I had queued up for my first OC, the one you asked about then never even bothered to acknowledge (like, c'mon, at least let me know you saw my answer, man). You reblogged the posts from the original poster, but you did it within mere /HOURS/ of when my queue spat out the posts. HMMMMMMMM.
Enjoy being blocked, bitch. Now go find that content like I did by actually going through the fandom tags and fandom-centric blogs.
