[ID: A tweet from NASAInSight, reading, “My power’s really low, so this may be the last image I can send. Don’t worry about me though: my time here has been both productive and serene. If I can keep talking to my mission team, I will – but I’ll be signing off here soon. Thanks for staying with me.”
An image is attached. Original ALT reads: “Wide-angle photo from NASA’s InSight lander on Mars shows the area in front of the lander in the late afternoon sun. Two science instruments tethered to the lander rest on the sandy surface nearby. Part of the lander’s robotic arm is visible extending down from the top left. Distortion from the wide-angle lens bends the distant horizon into a curved shape, while low-angle sunlight causes a small bluish lens flare on the right side.” /id]

And once again I'm crying for a little robot I never knew. 😢
NASA's Insight lander has gone to sleep. Goodbye little friend! Thank you for your hard work.
His last words...

This is probably the last photo the @NASAInSight mission will ever send home.

One Year Of INSIGHT Mission. One of my most favourite launch in 2018. Insight will be the first to examine mars conditions on and below the surface till date.. using the relay sats and DSN, insight will phonehome with lots of science data's Data's: JPL,LM #mars #Insight #insightlander #lockheedmartin #atlasv #ULALaunch #ula #marslander @nasajpl #nasainsight #elysiumplanitia @lockheedmartin #vandenbergairforcebase @ulalaunch #jpl #isro #esa #roscosmos #redplanet #lifeonmars #astrophysics #science #technology @nasa #aerospace #engineering #marsmission https://www.instagram.com/p/BxF0bXCBKDW/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=gv9kt56b3ouv

@nasajpl ・・・ Release the mole! InSight’s HP3 instrument (Heat Flow and Physical Properties Package) has been deployed on #Mars. It’s set to dig deeper into the Red Planet than any other robot to help us understand how rocky planets form. #InSight #NASAInSight #HP3 #marsmole #omgrobots #redplanet #marsexploration #NASA #JPL #NASAJPL #DLR #science #technology #space https://www.instagram.com/p/Bt2QNRig61d/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=rzlk3ibpact

#InSIGHT @nasasinsight is landed near #Mars equator, about 4.5 degrees N 135.9 E, in Elysium Planitia. At the site it is mid afternoon on a winter day with temps –148ºF to –4ºF (–100ºC to -20ºC). #MarsLanding #mars #nasainsight #elysiumplanitia https://www.instagram.com/p/BqrC6MLnEaY/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1xyxp453gkhal
