KR Wizard HCs:

Nitoh's Mayonnaise obsession just manifested recently.

Because of Kimaira, Nitoh has lost his sense of taste, and the only thing left was his mouth's sense of touch and he can imagine the mayonnaise's flavor if he puts it in his food.

Yamamoto never transformed again after Nitoh retook his mantle as Kamen Rider Beast.

He also knew that he would need the driver and rings sooner or later.

With the support of his wife, he continues to train with Haruto and sometimes Nitoh and Mayu so that he won't get rusty.

And there won't be a repeat of what happened with the artificial Phantoms.

Shunpei now makes the magic rings. Mayu is the one giving him the magic stones that he would fashion into rings. So far he has outfitted the three KR Mages of the rings he has created.

With varying levels of success.

[Really the worst of it was the Dress Up ring forcing them into a set of clothes instead of the clothes they imagined wearing]

[The less said about the type of clothes they're forced to wear as, the better]

Speaking of rings, Yamamoto has gotten more use with his magic by caring for his child than in battle, despite the mages and wizard's magic being so battle oriented.

Because he's used to making creative decisions for his magic and take care of his children, he's gotten more strategic and creative use of magic in battle.

He once used the earth rings to make a mini patch of sand in his backyard for his child to play with.

He has even used the wind rings to safely carry his child to the ground after falling from a high place.

These creative uses are then relayed to mayu for her to practice with and use in battle.

When a big battle comes around, and Mayu's the only one fighting, he helps everyone by making a strategy.

Among the mages, only Yuzuru has access to Nitoh's animal rings.

and all the animal rings he has are for three things, defend, attack, and escape.

Yuzuru and Nitoh rotate the rings that they would use between them.

the hope ring inside of Haruto has unknown power.

One time when things really got dire, the hope ring exited Haruto's body and gave Shunpei and Rinko access to their powers in another world, as kamen rider orange mage.

This gave both of them the magic rings their other world counterparts have.

Mayu: I don't know what to say because this is my sister... kinda...

of course! you've picked a really cute dynamic here: i find it adorable that shunpei's always so fascinated with magic, so i decided to work with something along that line. thank you for the request!

“You’ve never been to a magic show before?”

Haruto nods affirmatively in response to Shunpei’s query, before reaching towards the doughnut that glistens with plain sugar out on the table in front of him. This comes after a cumulative process that had involved Shunpei almost breaking through the door while rushing inside, splurting out the sighting of a magic show set up a few blocks down the street in the morning, and rambling about the perfection involved in the magician’s methods of pulling a bunny out of a hat. Naturally, with all this comes the comical flailing of arms and excitedly rowdy timbre that Haruto’s grown to find warmth — and dare he even say, a little bit of hope — in.

“Nope. I can do magic myself, I’d rather not see anything fake.”

“It’s so cool! For one of them, the magician puts a lady in a closet, goes abracadabra, and then boom! She’s gone!”

The concept of it all, companied with Shunpei’s eyes widening and arms flying away from his body, is preposterous. It’s so preposterous that Haruto laughs a little, anyway.

“Real magic doesn’t go abracadabra, Shunpei.”

“I know, I know! Yours goes shabadoobie and please, but abracadabra’s still so cool!”

“Wouldn’t you rather see a real magic show?”

“Yeah! But both are so good, it makes your brain go nyoo-”

Shunpei, Haruto’s found, has always had a rather cute way of dealing with the unknown. Where others would cower in all the possibly negative outcomes, Shunpei had found magic to be a source of wonder and good, even in his adulthood, where his peers had long abandoned belief. That touch of whimsical wonder must have struck Haruto, too; it had changed his views on the purpose of magic, bit by bit, eating away at his worries and his nightmares.

Perhaps, that’s how hope had implanted itself there.

“I’ll set a real one up for you. I’m free, anyway.”

Shunpei quickly grabs Haruto’s free arm — cueing a predictable cutoff of blood circulation — and shakes it vigorously in every direction possible. Evidently, if Haruto had been standing on his feet, Shunpei probably would have jumped up and down.

“Really? I love you! Thank you, you’re the best!”

Koyomi’s crystal ball glistens immediately when Haruto gets out of his seat, prompting him to check it immediately; his heart drops as soon as he does, for it showcases a vivid report of some kind of monster, decidedly not a Phantom, wildly running around the bridge nearby.

Well, there goes the plans for the impromptu magic show and eating the rest of his doughnut — or at least, the idea of it taking place now.

“There’s a monster attack nearby. I’ll do one as soon as I get back.”

Shunpei, to a little of Haruto’s surprise, nods understandingly and pumps his fists, despite the disappointment of the situation lingering in his eyes.

“Alright! You’ve got this, Haruto!”

Haruto strides towards the door, giving Shunpei a sugar filled peck on his hair on the way out. Shunpei happily squirms a little in response, as he always does, and it’s only when Haruto’s gotten on his bike that he realises that maybe, just maybe, he should’ve at least wiped his mouth before he did it. Oh well, it’s not like Shunpei would mind. There’s not many things Haruto’s sure of, but one thing is for certain: Shunpei’s loved him for who he is, and won’t stop now. 

It’d only be fair if Haruto fought, in the same fervour, to love and return to him, and to certainly perform a magic show like no other.

oh no i see the plot. the Phantom thinks Nara Shunpei has magic, hypes him up, and then takes it away from him to cause him despair. since if he already didn’t have his greatest wish, there’s not really much despair that can come from that?

Shunpei: We're not even near you.

Haruto: *Looks with sunglasses down* Yeah. A few arms length away from me is still near me.

Shunpei: Me and Nitoh are here on our date anyways. And Rinko is on duty.

Haruto: *take sunglasses off* One wears a woman's bikini and is crossdressing.

Shunpei: Hey! I look hot in them. And I've gotten pretty good in my disguises.

Nitoh quietly: *shivers* Fucking hot.

Nitoh: These trunks are cool looking despite being appropriate and above my knees.

Haruto: Are you sure it's an actually legit date or are you two here to help our police friend.

Nitoh and Shunpei: A bit of both.
