Hi, I'm Neme, and sometimes I exaggerate (lll￢ω￢) POTENTIAL SPOILERS IN THE ART AND THE DESCRIPTION BELOW!! Adding a separate post with a video :D

THIS, this was born from a vague idea I had, of drawing Inosuke falling. For some reason, I wanted to draw him from the back - shoulders bare, hair flying everywhere, his face not visible; body straining, bowing, arm outstretched towards... something, way, way up above him, too far away and unreachable. And I did that. Then I told myself, "let's add Kotoha!"... Then I said "Why not add baby Inosuke?". Then I said "let's make the falling section something inspired by his death scene in the Entertainment District Arc!". Hence the trail of blood. Then, since Baby Inosuke already had bubbles around him, to represent the river he falls into, I added debris, flowers and grass falling from the cliff where Kotoha dies. Between Baby Inosuke and Teen Inosuke there are leaves and acorns, to symbolise the Mountain and the woods he grows up in. Since I'd decided the third scene is the scene where Gyutaro stabbed Inosuke in the heart, I added pieces of roof tiles, broken vases, fabric, splinters of wood... stuff that I guessed could be seen falling as Yoshiwara was destroyed. Then, since this was already a summary of Ino's (tragic) life, I HAD to add a ray of light at the end/the bottom... The Kamaboko Squad in all its glory. Between Inosuke and his friends, I added - mainly - feathers. Crow feathers around Tanjiro, Sparrow feathers around Zenitsu and... well, honestly I put sharp, demonic teeth around Nezuko. It felt like the feathers had no direct connection to her, so I had to improvise.

Confession: Inosuke is my KnY child (and Tanjiro, too); but THE YORIICHI TYPE ZERO IS MY ASDFGHJKL. I hope the keyboard smash was explicative enough of the deep, profound feels the karakuri evokes in me.

And then on the right we have the ever beautiful Hyakkimaru ♥ , from the anime Dororo.

Yoriichi was constructed during the Sengoku period (1477 - 1573), and guess what, Hyakkimaru also comes from that era (techincally his story takes place in the middle of the Muromachi Period, during the 1470s after the Wars of Onin and Bunmei, but don't quote me on this copy-paste).

SO THEY TOTALLY COUL'VE MET.

Drawing naribashira Zenitsu is so fun. ♥ Here's part 2 of my first Izen doujinshji. This is a Pillar AU. Everyone is slightly older and has scars and different clothes and hairstyles than usual. Except Nezuko-chan. Somehow, I couldn't find it in myself to change anything about her ♥ Kanao's hairstyle is only slightly different than when she's young. In part 1, she also had her eye ruined, but I thought that if they're all Hashira at this point, she still hasn't used her final tecnique, and both her eyes works fine.Once more, this is a western-style doujinshi, so please read it from left →to→ right. This took me FOREVER, and I might've... exaggerated a bit (with the mood, with Zenitsu's sudden unexplainable fear for his hands, to the amount to sfx, dialogue, screentones...), but I feel like I'm improving as I go, and it was fun, so I'm happy with myself ♥

I still don't have a set style/definite/immediately recognizable way to draw Inosuke and Zenitsu, and I've been experimenting with different ways to ink Inosuke's hair. I don't know if I like this version more, please let me know your preference if you can. :D

This is a response to the 120th prompt on the 週刊伊善  weekly inozen Twitter Account 「かまど炭じろうから見たふたり」. Thank you @inozen2020 for planting this seed into my brain ♥.

There's an almost kiss there, but I don't think it merits the r-18 tag. Please do let me know, though.

Drawing exercise complete! This challenge worked like this: I'd prepared a list of 5 characters (it had to "make sense"), and asked Tumblrland to blindly pick a number between 1 to 5. @tor-the-tortilla picked 3.

The 5 characters were, in fact, the Robins in chronological order (so #1 Dick, #2Jason, #3Tim, #4 Steph and #5 Damian). It's been a while, Timmy! Missed you in my sketchbook, I gotta say. (´▽`o)

So basically, they took this picture as a joke, and accidentally won the contest for "Cutest Couple on Campus". ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧ ...and they weren't even dating!! Σ░(꒪◊꒪ ))))

Good thing that all the excitement made them realize that they liked each other, and that they truly should start dating... (ෆ˙ᵕ˙ෆ)♡

This was SO MUCH FUN to work on.

I still don't have a set style/definite/immediately recognizable way to draw Inosuke and Zenitsu, so every thing I produce is a total surprise even to me! XD I'm working on finding my own "them", but in the meantime it's fun to explore and experiment and play around.

This came into being thanks to @inozen2020, who picked "dry lips" as prompt #119 on the 週刊伊善 twitter account.

An alternative first meeting that feels a bit like Beauty-and-the-Beast.

It's a hybrid between fanfic and fanart, like an old fairytale book alternating text and pictures.

Ideally the 1st of 3 parts but I've overwhelmed with ideas so who knows.....

Panel redraw!! (ﾉ´ヮ`)ﾉ*: ･ﾟ Honestly, one of my favourite EVER. (≧◡≦) ♡ I think I nailed it, especially Inosuke. He's absolutely identical to the original, ain't he? ∠( ᐛ 」∠)＿ Please have a close up of Kanao and Inosuke's faces as a bonus. I love these babies (°◡°♡)

I've been sick and couldn't miss work because there was a peak of stuff to do for the past... uhhh... 20 days or so? So I couldn't really focus on art. Then I remembered this Inoko panel redraw from September/October, rushed to scan and add some effects and came to share. ♥

Lap-pillow and ear...erhm... repairing? Because these babies DESERVE something soft and sweet considering what happens in this AU.

I went back and drew part of the confrontation with Daki! (•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑ (so, the battle that comes before both the one with Gyutaro AND the one with Douma). I charged in without having a clear idea of how Daki looks like, only that she looks hyper mechanical, unlike Ino, Gyu and Douma who have a lot of/some human characteristic. Her hair was an impulse addition -it's like thick, sturdy ropes she can move at will. All in all, her hair seems to shift her whole look from a geisha/oiran to a sort of mechanical Medusa, which I like (LOTS) but might not keep. Like in the manga/anime, she's obsessed with beauty, but for this version of her, true beauty means looking like a machine as much as possible. In this AU, she finds Ino (who is, technically, older than her) *extremely* beautiful (again, like the anime, but amped up to 11) not because of his face, but because he has a lot of exposed mechanical parts himself, like his arms and to an extent his legs as well. But then she discovers---something I'd like to draw, but it's an extremely complicated scene, very spoilery and not... exactly... pretty to see, I guess. ├┬┴┬┴| •́ ﹏ •̀) Anyway, DAKI AS A SHIPPER HAD TO BE DRAWN. Jealous Zenitsu and Blushing!Mess!! Inosuke were also a delight to draw XD Speaking of Zenitsu, I've redesigned his attire, because the bubble sleeves from the Resistance uniform HAD TO GO. Even though this arc deals with Daki and Gyu, this is basically the Infinity Castle arc of my AU, where everything comes to a head. This is basically Zenitsu's BAMF!arc, and the confession I posted on Valentine's Day happens just about here, either right before or right after Ino deals with Daki.
