NO. You don't understand. It's the concept. Every Ubergoth needs their ray of sunshine who MAKES the Ubergoth do non goth things.

The idea that a Lord of a Citadel that was burdened with a physically life altering curse, still trying to fix things YEARS after the ramifications of a war with a neighboring kingdom that was never held accountable for their actions in all of it. Meeting a King whose idea of a Crisis in the Kingdom is that a shipment of lucky charms marshmallows was late and everyone's breakfast cereal will lack marshmallows of whimsical colors. Someone whose singular crisis of thought on the daily is 'There's not enough time to play all the games I want to play' or 'oh bother where is my left shoe? Guess I'll have to wear my bunny slippers to court again.'

You're saying NO to the idea of Mr. Gloom and Doom himself patiently listening as the embodiment of no think only memes recites every flavor of ice cream he's ever had while beating his goth opponent in Chess?

trying to catch up on the void within plot and i'm SO confused.

nyx clearly comes from another universe or something, has no idea where they are or what any of the zones are called... but then suddenly in chapter 4, nyx says "my brother lives in neopia central" as if they've always lived here and none of the characters are acknowledging the inconsistency

did someone on the writing team just fuck up or what? I'm lost.

Something fun about Neopets writing that I'm discovering is how the lore can inspire not just fanfic writers in similar ways, but TNT as well. With the site plot teasers we've gotten so far, I've been tickled finding the little parallels between their story and the one I've worked on for a while, so I started making myself a little list of them (and perhaps I'm also just vain lol).

Glitchy neggs

Neggery fallen on hard times

Altador on fire

A foreshadowed rising dark force

It's just fun seeing how little ideas can have similar roots and manifest in different ways, as there's also plenty where TNT's story (what we know of it so far) diverges far from my own. Not sure what to expect of the plot when it's finally here, but clearly I'm having some fun with the previews haha

I'm so tired of the Battledome element of the plot I've started literally zoning out, almost like a fugue state mentally, as I click click click, eyes not even focused, coming out of it feeling confused.

I really like the idea, and it'd have been great for one act of the plot, but this is just repetitive now, especially the newer unlocked battledome challengers.

I just do the same routine over and over because otherwise i'll have to heal up a lot more, and you have to do so many matches I just need to get this done, I don't even get all the plot points now, I'm just getting all the items for the day because I'm tired man.

Orion keeps interrupting the Advent Calendar to warn of something bad happening soon because of it and Reina is like "no way, I love giving out ridiculously expensive things for free and ruining the economy for the Neopian 1%!"

What IF...

The next plot is directly centered around an economic collapse in Neopia due to Reina being a holiday icon and eating the rich? I honestly think that would be really funny.

So the graying lands, first it was Meridell, then Brightvale, and now Neopia Central. It seems to spreading out from where it started, so I wonder what will be next. Roo Island and Kiko Lake are right there, but they are fairly small lands.

The Haunted Woods and Faerieland are on the same part of the contientent as the other lands, but Terror Mountin might be closer. Especially since a shop keeper in Terror Mountin has already turned gray.

Faerieland might be last due to vauge protections on it, but what do you all think? Do you think the graying will get to all lands?
