This is a Nestea Cool Snowman Mascot Talking Plush and it is a very rare item.

I didn't even know this mascot even got a plush let alone a talking one.

I remember seeing the ads for this mascot when I was little and thought this snowman was awesome since when it melts there was a skeleton inside then when the snowman drinks the Nestea cool it gains it's snow skin back.

I was not scared of this snowman when I was little and I thought it was neat.

This was back in the day that companies made merch of their mascots if they were popular or just because companies wanted to.

The plush says Cool me to the core with Nestea.

I'm surprised the voice box on this was mint.

I only pressed it twice and I wonder if I can replace the battery in this thing?

I did try this tea when I was little and it was pretty good but had a bitter kind of burn Nestea taste at the tail end.

I only had the lemon one and not the raspberry version.

I wish this tea and mascot could return someday since early 2000s are popular again.

This plush can't wear the toy glasses.

This snowman reminds me of that Campbell's Snowman ad and the Jack Frost 1998 movie.

Milk Tea

Milk tea refers to several forms of beverage found in many cultures, containing some combination of tea and milk. Beverages vary based on the amount of each of these key ingredients, the method of preparation, and the inclusion of other ingredient.

11 years ago, milk tea came in to our world. The number of milk tea fans keep  on growing as milk tea shops keep popping up with their extensive menus. Nowadays, it's not surprising to see someone drinking milk tea atleast once a week or lining up for hours. Filipinos have always had a taste for a tea. Nestea Iced Tea and Lipton Iced Tea are some of the tea we have before, C2 also became popular tea where most of us brew our own ginger tea. 

In 2008, Serenitea brings the milk tea trend. It was December 9, 2008, when Serenitea opened its first branch in San Juan, Manila. If you need to blame someone for your milk tea addiction, it has to be Serenitea founders Juliet D. Herrera Chen and Peter L. Chen. This 2019, milk tea shops have capitalized in the urgency of our cravings by putting their drinks on wheels. You can now order milk tea from GrabFood, Honestbee, and FoodPanda. 

We don't just love milk tea, we're addicted. Today, we don't think milk tea can still be classified as a "trend." Rather, milk tea has become a staple.The milk tea craze found many, both young and old, lining up at milk tea places just to drink the then cool and hip drink. The milk tea craze was unique, a phenomenon in a country which loves its coffee. It's a wonder that over the years, it has maintained a strong market and is still a much beloved drink. The unusual black balls, quite different from the sago we all know and are more familiar with, might have been the driving force behind its popularity.

To make your own milk tea at home, use your favorite tea, add as much or as little milk and sweeteners, and add as many pearls, nata de coco, or jelly as you desire. Milk tea takes 20 minutes makes 3 servings.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup black tapioca pearls cooked according to package directions

1 English breakfast tea bag

2 cups hot water

2 1/2 tablespoons milk  

1 tablespoon honey

Ice cubes

Procedure:

Step 1. English breakfast tea bag in boiling hot water for 5 minutes.

Step 2. Pour and stir in cold milk and honey. Divide between three tall glasses and set aside. 

Step 3. Spoon 1/2 cup black tapioca pearls, cooked according to package directions, to glasses. 

Step 4. Serve cold with ice cubes.

Got a lot of deep, depressing poetry and artwork stashed? nope. Constantly crying and depressed?: no. Ever attempted suicide or self-mutilated yourself?: no. Been in a car accident?: no. Broken a bone?: nope. Had to get surgery? If so, on what/what for? no. Ever stayed overnight in a hospital?: no. How often do you get sick? i get the flu every winter. When was the last time you got sick? forever ago. last year probably. Ever get someone else sick? of course. When was the last time you threw up? i don’t remember. Do you have allergies? hayfever if that counts. Are you interested in celebrity news? not as much as i used to be. i read ontd from time to time and obviously whatever pops up on instagram and twitter. Random things that are the same in Spain

- Brands. A lot of familiar logos can be found here, everything from coca cola and McDonald’s to Listerine and Colgate. The packaging will be close to identical even if the name or words on the product might be a little different. 

- Media. I’ve mentioned this before, but Walking Dead, Gilmore Girls, the Mummy, GTA V, Fifa (obviously), The Simpsons, Midnight Texas (never heard of it before now), Pawn Stars, Sherlock, Jessica Jones, Supernatural, Designated Survivor, etc. all seem to be common here. 

- The metro is called the metro here. More of a language similarity I guess, but still. Same w/ bus. 

- They actually do Halloween here, though a little differently. It’s a newer thing here though from media and stuff that the younger generations seems to like more. The traditional holiday of Día de todos los Santos (All Saints Day) is on the day after, Nov. 1st and seems to be closer to Mexico’s Dia de los Muertos in that they honor their ancestors and visit cemeteries and stuff (more of a family holiday).

- iPhones. Playstations. Technology in general (not super surprising).

- I mean lots of things. Things that are hard to list since I don’t notice them. It’s easier to see the differences, but there are a lot of basic things that are the same. Like sure, American culture has its influence, but people are people regardless of what part of the world you’re in.  

Edit: I thought of something else: iced tea. They have it here! Nestea is really the only brand I’ve seen but thought I was gonna have to give it up entirely so that’s cool

  What will you need? • You’ll need a clean driving record and meet the Driver Qualifications listed below. • You need to be able to work in all kinds of weather conditions while working out on your own with limited supervision. • Servicing our customers is hard work, and you will need to be able to climb in and out of the truck 120 times a day and carry product that can weigh up to 45 pounds. • You will get way more than your recommended 10,000 steps in a day, with plenty of water to keep you hydrated during the day. • Most importantly, you need to have a professional image and demeanor.  We’ll provide the cool uniform and truck.

Driver Qualifications: • A clean driving record means in the last 3 years, that you’ve only had 1 license, no driving-related suspension, revocation or cancellation, no disqualifying offenses, no more than 2 moving violations and no reckless driving incidents and in the last 7 years, no major driving offenses including DUI/DWI, refusal to test, leaving the scene of an accident, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL, or at-fault fatal accident. • Must be 18 years of age
