Love is embarrassing. You knew this everytime you stared at him and felt your heart flutter. Why did you fall for such a delinquent? Your eyes followed his movements, as fast as lightening as he caught the volleyball.

"Did you see that?" He yelled at you, jumping up and down with excitement. Your cheeks warmed and you nodded, a prim smile on your face. He turned back around, ready to keep playing.

The thing is...you haven't told anyone you were dating Noya. It was one of the least expected things for the class president, falling for such a clown?

You crossed your legs, stoically watching your boyfriend practice (while hiding the big grin wishing to spread across your lips). You weren't sure how he could handle seeing you protect your reputation but you were grateful he did.

It's funny that only you seem to consider Noya a good choice as a boyfriend. How many girls consider Noya to just be a pervert? He is more than that! But were you any better since you were too selfish to make your relationship public?

He and his team continued go warm up, waiting for Nekoma to show up for the match. You were sure Karasuno would win and yet you still anxiously waited.

Noya didn't seem worried even as Nekoma finally showed up. They were all so tall and intimidating, how was he not totally afraid?

He gave you a small wave, almost asking for a good luck wish. You should blow him a kiss, that would surely make him happy but the thought of your classmates seeing the president date Noya made your stomach drop to your feet. Instead you opted for a small wave and smile, hoping he could understand.

It was so rude, why couldn't you let go of what others think? Why were you so embarrassed by Noya it simply wasn't fair to him.

The game started as they always did, normal while of course having the intensity of a high fantasy anime. Why these teenagers felt the need to go absolute insane as soon as a ball hit the court, you weren't sure but it was good for ticket sales.

It was normal and it was nice. You could almost zone out with the usual of it all (however you don't, keeping focus on Noya.)

Until, Noya hit the ground. He tried hitting the ball but it was so low he decided to dive but instead of sliding his head crashed against the floor. Your heart surged with panic, feeling your lungs close.

"Yu!" You screeched, standing up abruptly. Ignoring the confusion of everybody in the bleachers you rushed down to meet him on the gym floor.

He was sitting up, a bit of blood oozing out of his nose. As soon as he saw you approaching he broke out into a dopey grin.

Without thinking, you collided with him as you wrapped your arms around your boyfriend's body. You hugged him tightly, before pulling away slightly to assess his injuries. Luckily it wasn't too severe, he seemed fine.

"If you want to be stupid, don't do it in front of me." You scolded, feeling your eyes well with ridiculous tears. Trying to blink them away, you gave Noya a half hearted glare.

"Didn't know we were going public today?" Noya replied, a mischievous look on your face. (Interally you looked up to the sky, needing will power to stay strong, I beg you don't embarrass me, motherfucker.)

You turned around and saw everybody in the bleachers and on the gym, staring at you in disbelief. The perfect girl with good grades and great attendance fell for...Nishinoya.

At that moment, you felt almost a sense of relief. Finally you could show the world all the affection you felt for him, finally you could shoe Karasuno Noya was a perfect boyfriend.

You kissed his cheek, smiling as his face turned red, and said, "Good luck at your game and no more getting hurt."

He grinned and watched you get back to your seat. You ignored the stares, keeping your head held up high. He didn't embarrass you, he was perfect.

hey anon! oh gosh, i love this question!!

i super duper love Noya-san!! i'm a little biased cuz Karasuno is my favorite team in hq!! but he's my favorite libero in the entire show. he's so silly but equally determined when they're on the court too. i feel so happy for him when he became a backpacker in the timeskip arc (and even bringing a volleyball with him wherever he goes!)

as for Asahi, he's such a gentle giant! how can anyone not like him? LOL, but seriously, i also love Asahi! i love that despite being a big guy, he's just a bundle of nerves (he's like me like for real) ALSO HIM BECOMING A FASHION DESIGNER IN THE FUTURE? LOVE THAT FOR HIM!!!!
