Gold And Silver por David Blazejewski Por Flickr: Due to 7470 being down for maintenance this year's annual Mass Bay RRE's 'Steam In The Snow' charter on the Conway Scenic Railroad was instead billed as 'Covered Wagons In The Snow' and it did not disappoint. The six car train was led west by CSRR 252 and traveled as far as the Notchland Inn where they reversed east to be lead back by the two original Boston and Maine F7s (4266 and 4268) owned by the 470 Railroad Club stopping for five photo runbys along the way. This route opened in 1875 as the Portland and Ogdensburg Railway and would remain an important through freight route for succesor Maine Central until 1983, known for most of its life as the Mountain Subdivision. Shuttered for a dozen years it was purchased by the State of New Hampshire from MEC Guilford Transportation in 1994 and revived by 1996 to become a wildly popular 25 mile extension of the little Conway Scenic. A few inches of fresh snow the night before made for a gorgeous scene despite the clouds as they head west at about MP 75.6 west of Sawyer River on the former Mountain Sub. GP38 252 is right at home here having been built in November 1966 for the Maine Central Railroad as part of an order of 13 of the model that were the first batch of second generation diesel locomotives purchased by the road. Ultimately she came to be the last one in service on successor Guilford Transportation, lasting more than three decades, and having seen her other dozen siblings retired and scrapped or sold. She came to Conway Scenic in March 2010 along with GP35 216 in a trade with Pan Am Railways for FP9s 6505 and 6516 that would become Pan Am's OCS power. Right behind her and decidedly out of place is dome car Rhonda Lee. Built by the Budd company in 1956 for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad number 4735 it was originally named Silver Buckle and served on the Denver Zephyr. It passed to the Burlington Northern in 1970 and then was sold to Amtrak at startup in 1971 as 9457. It was retired a decade later and languished until being auctioned off around 1993. After undergoing a massive restoration it was renamed Silver Splendor in 1997 and served in excursion service for two decades based out of Anaheim, CA until being sold to the CSRR around 2019. Hiatus Update

I am SLOWLY getting back into Rping

I am only doing on Muse right now and that is Pietro Maximoff (MCU)

For those of you who do not know. In July my husband and I lost our son. There were complications while I was in labor. The last couple 6 months have been alot of up and downs.

I am starting to feel like me again.

Slowly I plan to get more of my muses active.

However, right now I'll just be doing one. I get over whelmed easily now (even though I try really hard not to)

When I feel more comfortable I will update this.

Atabei's favorite food was shrimp with garlic and cornmeal from where she grew up. An item that comforted her during her long years serving as Wentworth's personal magician, that helped her maintain her sanity all that time, was a lock of Eliza's hair she kept in a locket and hid from Guilford. He never knew about it, she never wore it after him, but she kept it in her wardrobe.

OCS To Worcester por David Blazejewski Por Flickr: I shared this shot recently: flic.kr/p/2oTS2Vr which made me think back to another ridiculously cool catch at this exact same spot just shy of five years prior. Until the road was bought out by CSXT, Pan Am Railway's little vest pocket OCS was seen out on the road regularly, though trips other than on the mainline to Mechanicville or down to Boston were exceedingly rare. This was the only time in many years that it traveled down the Worcester main. After an amazing chase all day from the Hoosac Tunnel 100 miles east on the freight main they turned south (railroad west) for 23 miles down the Worcester Main to Barbers. They are seen passing the old freight house still dressed in tattered peeling standard B&M colors as they approach the Center Bridge Road grade crossing at MP X19.1. PAR 1 and PAR 2 are ex Canadian National FP9s 6505 and 6516 built in 1954 and 1957 respectively by GMDD. They passed from CN to VIA Rail in 1978 before being picked up by the Conway Scenic in 1995 when they expanded into Crawford Notch. After 15 years spent hauling tourists in the White Mountains 6505 & 6516 would become PAR 1 & 2 when traded to Pan Am Railways in March 2010 for GP38 252 and GP35 216. They are pulling the three car train consisting of dome car 102, lounge car 101, and observation/business car 100. ST100 was originally Norfolk and Western business car 102 that was rebuilt and streamlined in 1957 from diner 1011 that was originally built by ACF in 1934. It was purchased by the D&H in 1976 and then passed to Guilford in 1984 and was retained after the 1988 bankruptcy and divestiture of the D&H. ST101 also came from the D&H but was one of four originally built by Budd for the D&RGW in 1950 for use on the Denver-Salt Lake Prospector and was numbered 1290 named the Castle Gate. After that train was discontinued in 1967 the D&H acquired it and named it Champlain. And ST102 was also built by Budd in 1950 for Wabash's Chicago to St. Louis "Blue Bird" and originally wore #201. It later became N&W 1611 until stored at Roanoke in 1966. In 1971 it went to Amtrak where it stayed for 22 years before ending up in private hands for 20 more years until PAR bought it in 2013. Many of you may not know this but currently I am 38 weeks pregnant. Im just about due and will be taking maternity leave for 12 weeks.

So for 12 weeks I won't have anything to do except for carr for the baby. Yes, I know how time consuming that will be with two hour eat schedule, diapers, crying, needing me, ect. But there will be some down time for me, and because of the Rona I won't even be able to leave my home.

Soooooo....

I want to slip back into RP so I dont go crazy. Just away t o step out of my world. This goes for all of my muses.
