We all remember this scene right? Its from the Oakleaf Bearers, (or Battle for Skandia).

Its the scene where Erak and his men wanted to stay and hold the Temujai off for a few days, but Halt decided to show them the reality.

I just had to make a comment on this.

Lets imagine for a moment that Halt really is the Temujai General.

What would happen?

Ans: Goodbye Western World.

Their damned lucky that Halt isn't the general.

I should be studying but instead, I'm having a bunch of prompts in my head again...

Once you are on the Ranger's apprentice bandwagon, you're always on the bandwagon. Which one should I write first?

Cassandra is in labor with Maddie and Horace is super nervous and anxious. To be there for his friend, Will has taken a little vacation to castle Araluen.

Alyss and Will expecting their first child, from Alyss telling Will until the kid's actually born.

Will realizing that he's falling in love again after all those years, but he's scared to admit to it as he feels he's betraying Alyss.

Will getting hurt on the battlefield, badly. When Maddie hears him murmle Alyss her name in his semi unconscious state, she knows that something is pulling her mentor to the other side.

Our favourite oakleaf bearers are forcefully timetravelling to the Araluen of 2103.

That moment in which Will and Alyss realize their former mentors/surrogate parents are the closest thing to soulmates as anyone can ever get.

Halt or Pauline gets hurt badly and they need to learn how to walk and how to speak again. Did I already mention I ship them to bits? Will or Alyss helps them through the process.

Jenny FRIGGIN FINALLY marries Gilan.

Pauline and Halt being happy grandparents. Just that. Bonus: Pauline pestering him with the fact that he always tries to hide his emotions, but actually loves being a grandfather.

That moment Will and Horace made a wager on whose wife would swear more or do weird things during childbirth.

That moment in which basically ever ranger with their unique observing skills notices Alyss is pregnant, except Alyss.

A story in which Will discovers there is an entire world of magic behind the world he has always known.

Will having developed multiple kinds of trauma after Skandia, and Halt realizing that as his mentor, he will need to do something to help his apprentice.

One shot in which the full moon has a very interesting effect on people...

Everything you have ever written has been like the song of angels and driven me so insane not even Lovecraft would be able to describe it, so I can only imagine what original writing of yours must be like. Ranger Gathering 2024: Guilty

TLDR: A missing scene from Oakleaf Bearers, since it's really stupid that we don't get to see the extended aftermath of Halt & Will's reunion.

Trying to get oakleaf bearers opened up in my libby so I can have something to do while I blowdry my hair but she is refusing to load up

First ace character: I think it would be Sir Talfryn from the penumbra podcast. Love that guy, he's doing great. Now that I think of it, I can't remember if Sir Talfryn or Jet Siquliak appears first. I'm pretty sure it's Talfryn, but they're both aroace icons.

Most recent ace character: Anna from spirit box radio, who I didn't know was ace until I saw it on an ace podcast week poll! (I haven't finished the podcast and it's possible I missed the info.) Anna is epic and SBR is so cool and I can't wait to see how it ends.

Favourite ace character: gotta be Jonathan Sims, purely for the fan response. The first time I read a fanfic that directly discussed Jon's asexuality (written by the lovely @oakleaf--bearer who writes such lovely things), I cried. I was new to being ace and it was the first piece of media that accurately spoke to my experience. The tma fandom has been the place where I've found the most acepec joy and community, and I'm eternally grateful for it.
