Anyways Russian Caravan has been good so far. Im not exactly an expert on its various crossovers so ive just been taking it as a whole world and ive just finished the first arc apparently. It's got very brisk pacing dont let the establishing relationship opening fool you and its very economical with its time. The cast has been supremely endearing as indivudals and their introductions and conversations aren't repetitive or overwhelming either as, to me at least I dont know, wholly original characters. The mystery aspect of this is also extremely appreciative. The worldbuilding and perspective shifts are grounded, overall I'm seriously enjoying it. And its already leaving brockton bay! It's very daring in its taylor torment too. It has a smidge of inaccuracies like the combat drive stuff but I can overlook it, plus its at least done in a way thats somewhat interesting. I usually hate oocps but the shard eldritch interactions so far are quite impactful.

Im still really early into the fic since im taking it slow and liveblogging it as I go but ive heard it just gets better anyway. Maybe I'll do a longform post about the character arc taylor is going through or something. Id say the villains but I know fuck all about their sources.
