Dib Membrane is an eccentric young man who is obsessed with everything paranormal. As Professor Membrane’s son, Dib is an intelligent boy with the potential of a bright future ahead of him. Connections Livia Blackthorn: Ty’s twin. These two are incredibly close, though they aren’t parabatai due to the fact that Ty previously wanted to go into the Scholmance. They are both protective of each other, though Livvy more so due to the fact that Tiberius tends to see the world differently.

Kit Herondale: The Watson to Ty’s Sherlock. These two got off to a rather... rocky start, but Kit soon made the Ty and Livvy duo into a trio. Kit is one of the only ones besides his family to accept Ty’s differences completely.

PIETRO MAXIMOFF — a.k.a. QUICKSILVER — OPEN!

“ I’m freaking QUICKSILVER!!! And you can eat my freaking dust!   ”

Pietro is the oldest of the Maximoff twins by amazing 12 minutes, a fact he never lets his younger sister forget when convenient. They were born in Sokovia, one of the more or less forgotten places in this world, where disasters happen and no one notices until some big news outlet decides to make a scandal out of it.

That happened after a bombing, an intense one. Pietro’s introduction to one of the biggest names in current history was made by a mortar shell, the one that struck the apartment which housed his family. It killed his parents and stuck the twins under a bed for two days waiting for rescue, ten-year-old Pietro covering Wanda with his own body to make sure she was safe. It was a Stark mortar shell.

Orphans and full of despair, they were recruited by Hydra at a public protest, volunteering to their experiments in order to obtain whatever advantage they could in their new life. After Hydra took a huge hit, they decided to try their luck with Ultron, the other alternative to hit the man who destroyed their family once and for all.

When this last try proved to be an attack on mankind and not simply one man, brother and sister begrudgingly left Ultron to join the Avengers, still distrusting anything that had Stark involved. That did not change Pietro’s determination though, he sacrificed his life to save a small boy and Clint Barton’s life, only to be saved by Helen Cho’s work, the Cradle, a year after the events of Civil War. He has joined Captain America’s side since.

Abilities:

Superhuman speed, with the physiology to support and sustain his body at incredible speeds, including increased metabolism, stamina, and reflexes. This also awards him extreme force generation and improved thermal homeostasis.

Quick intellect - is able to think at a greater speed than most - and a skilled fighter, especially in hand-to-hand combat.

THE STORY || CW: Abduction, Alcoholism

Katya’s family wasn’t defective. Not in the typical way of bedraggled bathrooms and peeling wallpaper at least. Their dysfunction was hidden behind beaming smiles and sharp attire, and it manifested in their genetic code. The inheritors of a prominent vodka distillery, little was promised in the Krupin household aside from fortune and a predisposition for alcoholism. For a large portion of her childhood, Katya was shielded from the evils of the world by an overprotective older brother who followed her everywhere. Konstantin became her shadow, protecting her from cruel children and regrettable decisions; he was her guardian. All she ever wanted, though, was a brother.

When Katya was 13, Konstantin left to further his education outside of Moscow, and this was difficult for her. Her whole life, she had relied on her self-proclaimed crutch. It made sense that without his support, she slipped. Coaxed by her curiosity, Katya became acquainted with the very people she was instructed so sternly to avoid. By 14, she was cutting classes. By 15, she was an alcoholic. She wasn’t careful, and one day she payed the price: one night at a club, someone drugged her, and after that her memories came in bright, confusing flashes, or not at all. She remembers injections. She remembers the words, ‘Kudzu’, ‘Rostek’, and ‘Vila’. She remembers a baritone voice lulling her to sleep, then waking up in a pile of garbage with abilities she couldn’t explain:  

Katya embodied grace. Her movements were as effortless as a swan’s. But just because she was suddenly supernaturally elegant, she was still too humiliated to turn to the police or go to a hospital. Instead, Katya pulled herself together, quitting drinking cold-turkey and getting jobs in the food industry. Over the span of 6 years, Katya was a waitress, a baker, and finally a bartender. Although she was personally averse to alcohol, that didn’t mean she couldn’t make drinks with the careful precision of a master mixologist. Katya excelled in the industry, and eventually saved up enough money to found her own club, Massine’s Rendezvous Point. There, she promised herself that she would keep everyone safe. Massine’s is a haven and nothing short of it.

THE CHARACTER

Katya knows what it feels like to be afraid, and because of this she’s devoted to ensuring that nobody feels the way she once did. Calling her ‘sweet’ is a daft understatement. Although not terribly bright at times, Katya is open-minded, pleasant, and very funny. To her brother’s dismay, she’s also quite the flirt. Behind her relaxed exterior though is the hulking secret she’ll never admit: that her 1998 mishap actually happened – that she’s the victim of something too elaborate and sinister for her mind to ever grasp. Though she’ll never admit it, she still has vivid nightmares of the event, and sometimes she’s too afraid to fall asleep. Rather than let her fear control her though, she uses it as motivation to never let it happen again.

CONNECTIONS

Konstantin Maksymovich Krupin - Konstantin is nothing short of a worry wart. But he’s still a great guy and increasingly, the best brother a girl could ask for. She hasn’t told him, but she’s absolutely infuriated with him for joining the Lesya cause. She still has no idea what happened to her, but she knows that it has something to do with the gangs of Moscow. She knows that they’re more powerful, more dangerous than he could possibly fathom and it tears her apart to know that he’s in danger each time he works for them. 

Dmitri ‘Kholod’ Yosefich Tolmachev - When Dmitri came to her bar, he somehow recognized her ability and that she would have difficulty controlling it at times. He offered his help, and under his guidance she’s been able to do things she didn’t know herself capable of. Now, she lets him run tests on her in the name of better understanding her ability. 

Davyd 'Dave' Sergeyevich Loban - Davyd and Katya met in her bar, and hit it off. He sees her and… softens, which is a big deal for a guy who looks like he’s always ready to break your face with his fist. The two are a good pair. They humanize each other. 

Ekaterina ‘Kat’ Radimevna Kozlova - Simply put, Ekaterina was the first girl to break her heart. Well. Katya supposes that’s what happens when you love someone – you open yourself up to that kind of vulnerability. Katya tries to look back at the memories fondly, but she’s only ever filled with frustration. They were fine one moment, and then Kat ghosted her. There was no other explanation. The last time they spoke, Ekaterina went off about how she was too ‘dangerous’ to be around. Katya loathes what Ekaterina did to her. She could never loathe her. 

Agata Marszalek Litauska - The first time Agata walked into her bar, Katya’s jaw dropped. What a hottie. Her piqued interest shriveled though, when one of her informants identified Agata as a Moscow police lieutenant. Katya has strict rules for herself, and one of them is not to mix business with bed. Against herself, each time she sees Agata, she can’t hide her look of absolute lovesickness.

She delights at working as a bartender for her own club; it’s her favorite occupation and the most efficient watchpost for cruel customers. She has a bit of a reputation for using sleight of hand to make people accidentally roofie themselves. 

When she deems it necessary, she isn’t against beating the shit out of misbehaving customers before the police arrive. He fell out the window, officer. He fell out the window four times. 

She’s one of the few uncloseted homosexuals that she knows of in all of Moscow, and she can afford to be so. Once she was granted her abilities, Katya became virtually untouchable. Bullets come her way, and she sidesteps them effortlessly. She’s glad for her gift, but admits it does terrify her at times.  

Katya twiddles her hair when nervous, which is a lot more frequent nowadays than it was before she met Dr. Tolmachev.

She LIVES for holidays. She is without a doubt the best gift-giver in the history of ever. She sings, she bakes, and she single-handedly decorates Massine’s (because brother dear isn’t ever as excited as she is. But then again, who is?).

Ty Blackthorn: Kit isn’t sure how he feels about Ty. He knows for sure that the other boy sees the world differently and it is very refreshing to him. Kit, though he sees the beauty in everything, tends to find the most beauty, both inwardly and outwardly, in Tiberius Blackthorn.

Tessa Gray (Herondale-Carstairs) & Jem Carstairs: Kit slightly resents both Tessa and Jem. Though he is a Shadowhunter and has always been a Shadowhunter, he blames them for bringing him into their World. He won’t admit to himself that he’s starting to enjoy himself a bit.
