Otomachi Una is a japanese synth developed by Internet Co., and released in 2016. she is voiced by Tanaka Aimi. una was illustrated by Saitou Naoki for her Talk Ex and voiceroid, and by Kurisu Toshi for her v6, but her v4 artist has not been revealed. her 3d modeling was done by kuuwanko, and the rigging by Rennya. on 30 jul 2016 unas v4 "sweet" and "spicy" banks were released, the names of these are possibly reference to the nursery rhyme "What Are Little Boys Made Of?", in which the second stanza reads "What are little girls made of? / What are little girls made of? / Sugar and spice / And everything nice [or "all things nice"] / That's what little girls are made of". on 20 apr 2017 unas talk ex bank was released, on 11 dec 2020 her voiceroid2 bank, on 15 jul 2021 her voidol banks, and on 22 jun 2023 her v6 sweet and spicy. una is 11yo and 148.5cm tall with her hat. her hat is called Ottoman Bō, and often changes expression to match unas.

In addition to her Vocaloid voicebanks, Otomachi Una has several speech voicebanks. These include releases for Talk Ex (also known as Otomachi Una Talk), VOICEROID2, Voidol (a real time voice conversion software) and Voicepeak (which uses AI speech synthesis). Currently, this is the same amount of releases as the amount of her Vocaloid voicebanks (2 each for V4 and V6).

These releases all use a separate design for Una with glasses, except for Voidol, which uses her VOCALOID4 Sugar design.

Otomachi Una V4 (Spicy): Christ those colors hurt my eyes, but still a solid design overall. 7/10.

Otomachi Una (音街ウナ) is a Japanese VOCALOID developed by Internet Co., Ltd. in collaboration with MTK Inc. and was released in July 2016 for the VOCALOID4 engine. A speech bank was also released for Talk Ex; on November 11, 2020, a VOICEROID2 version of such talk bank was announced and released in December.[2][3] In July 2021, she also had a voicebank release in the Voidol engine.

Una was announced to be receiving AI voicebanks as part of her VOCALOID6 update in June 2023.[4]

IA, Yukari, Una All Nominated for Vector ProRegi Award! 

For the 28th Biannual ProRegi Awards, Vector PC Shop revealed three nominees for the Best Creator Tool Category! There are eight nominees in this category, but three of them are sure to catch the attention of voice synthesizer fans! IA Talk, VOICEROID 2 Yuzuki Yukari, and Otomachi Una Talk Ex have all been nominated!

They were picked becuase the award focuses on the most popular and widely-downloaded software for the first half of this year. VOICEROID+ Tohoku Kiritan was actually the winner of the last ProRegi Awards in the same category!  

After hearing about the nominations, the respective developers rushed to Twitter to announce the good news:

The Otomachi Una TV commercial illustration and song contest came to an end in early October and now we can see the winning illustrations and songs in three types of Una commercials! 

The 15-second long commercial is being called the “Thank you for my first anniversary” commercial, and comes in three types (A, B, and C). In each one, you can hear Una’s voice saying:

“I’m Otomachi Una. Thank you so much for always making, watching, and listening to so many wonderful creations. VOCALOID 4 Otomachi Una and Otomachi Una Talk Ex are now on sale.” “UNA!”

What makes each type different, however, is the song that they have playing in the background, and the collection of illustrations that they show (save for the final seven)...
