Our Lady of Kibeho Feast day: November 28
Our Lady of Kibeho is the name given to Marian apparitions concerning several adolescents, in the 1980s in Kibeho, south-western Rwanda.  The apparitions communicated various messages to the schoolchildren, including an apocalyptic vision of Rwanda descending into violence and hatred, possibly foretelling the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. Our Lady of Kibeho became the first and only Vatican-approved Marian site in Africa.

So I was praying the Seven Sorrows Rosary (Our Lady of Kibeho said to pray it on Tuesdays and Fridays) and I had a realization: We have a LOT of nerve asking Mary to be our intercessor, and she has an ASTONISHING amount of mercy and love to actually do it. Because it’s OUR FAULT that her son suffered so horrifically, and that she suffered watching him. It’s because of our sins! And yet she intercedes on our behalf, encouraging God to be even more merciful than he already has been!

Prophecy for the End Times
“IF YOU DON’T REPENT AND DON’T CONVERT YOUR HEARTS, YOU WILL ALL FALL INTO THE ABYSS.”
(2-min read)
People who have bothered to read of the Church-approved apparitions in Kibeho (Rwanda) in 1981 are aware that Our Blessed Mother warned of great dangers to the people of Rwanda and of the world. Many have heard that Our Lady described with startling accuracy the events of the ethnic genocide that engulfed that country some 13 years later. But what many people do not know is that Our Lady also made an urgent appeal to the whole world! She brought messages of maternal love and warning that speak directly to each of us in our own countries and our own lives. It is these messages that we would do well to consider closely.
The diocese of Ginkongoro, where the apparitions occurred, has summarized the messages given to Alphonsine Mumureke, Nathalie Mukamazimpaka and Marie Claire Mukangango by our Blessed Mother as follows:
1 URGENT APPEAL TO REPENTANCE AND CONVERSION
“Repent, repent, repent! … Convert while there is still time."
2 THE ABYSS
"The world is rebellious against God It commits too many sins. iI has neither love nor peace."
"The world hastens to its ruin, it will fall into the abyss … It will be plunged into innumerable and unrelenting disasters."
"If you do not repent and do not convert your hearts, you will fall into the abyss."
3 DEEP SORROW OF THE MOTHER OF GOD
The visionaries saw the Virgin Mary crying on August 15, 1982. The Mother of God was very saddened because of people’s unbelief and lack of repentance. She complained of our bad way of life, which is characterized by the slackness in our faith, the predilection to evil, and the continuous disobedience to God’s Commandments.
4 "FAITH AND UNBELIEF WILL COME UNSEEN"
These mysterious words were repeatedly spoken by Mary to Alfonsine at the beginning of the revelations. She was asked to repeat them to the other people.
5 SUFFERING SAVES
This subject is among the most important among the revelations in Kibeho, particularly for Natalie Mukamazimpaka. Suffering, which is unavoidable in this life, is necessary for Christians to attain eternal glory.
On 15 May 1982, Mary said to her visionaries, especially to Natalie, “No one will reach heaven without suffering.”
Suffering is both a means of compensating for the sins of the world and participating in Jesus’ and Mary’s sufferings for the salvation of the world. The visionaries were invited through this address to live very specifically, accepting suffering through faith in love, mortifying themselves and denying themselves pleasures for the conversion of the world. Thus, Kibeho is a reminder of the role of the cross in the life of a Christian and the Church.
6 “PRAY ALWAYS AND SINGLE-HEARTEDLY”
People are not praying, and those who do pray, do not pray as they should. Mary begs the visionaries to pray in abundance for the whole world, to teach others to pray, and to pray for those who do not pray themselves. Mary begs us to pray with greater zeal and purity of heart.
7 MARIAN DEVOTION
To be expressed through devout and regular praying of the Rosary.
8 PRAY THE ROSARY OF THE SEVEN SORROWS OF THE VIRGIN MARY
The visionary Marie Claire Mukangango said to have received revelations about the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows of the Virgin Mary. The blessed Virgin loves this Rosary. It was well-known in the past but it has been forgotten by Catholics. Our L:ady of Kibeho desires for it to be renewed and spread in the Church. However, this prayer does not replace the Holy Rosary.
Seven Sorrows Chaplet: https://www.immaculee.com/pages/7-sorrows-rosary-prayer
9 MARY DESIRES THAT A CHAPEL BE BUILT FOR HER
This request was made on  January 16, 1982 and recurred many times in the course of the year.
10 ALWAYS PRAY FOR THE CHURCH
Many troubles will besiege the Church in the coming years so we must always pray for the Catholic Church as our Blessed Mother emphatically requested Alfonsine on August 15, 1983 and on November 28, 1983.

“While other martyrs suffered by sacrificing their own lives, the Blessed Virgin suffered by sacrificing Her Son’s life a life that She loved far more than Her own; so that She not only suffered in Her soul all that Her Son endured in His body, but moreover the sight of Her Son’s torments brought more grief to Her heart than if She had endured them all in Her own person.”
-- St. Antoninus

St. Alphonsus Liguori revealed in his book, The Glories of Mary, that Jesus has four promises for those who devote themselves to Mary’s seven sorrows:
1) That those who invoke the divine mother by her sorrows, before death will merit to obtain true repentance of all their sins.
2) That he will protect such in their tribulations, especially at the hour of death.
3) That he will impress upon them the memory of his passion, and that they shall have their reward for it in heaven.
4) That he will commit such devout servants to the hands of Mary, that she may dispose of them according to her pleasure, and obtain for them all the graces she desires.
The Virgin Mary also presented her own promises to St. Bridget of Sweden for those who devote themselves to her sorrowful heart. Mary asks that the devotee prays one Hail Mary in honor of each of her sorrows.
Mary’s Seven Promises:
1) I will grant peace to their families.
2) They will be enlightened about the divine Mysteries.
3) I will console them in their pains and I will accompany them in their work.
4) I will give them as much as they ask for as long as it does not oppose the adorable will of My divine Son or the sanctification of their souls.
5) I will defend them in their spiritual battles with the infernal enemy and I will protect them at every instant of their lives.
6) I will visibly help them at the moment of their death — they will see the face of their Mother.
7) I have obtained this grace from My divine Son, that those who propagate this devotion to My tears and sorrows will be taken directly from this earthly life to eternal happiness, since all their sins will be forgiven and My Son will be their eternal consolation and joy.

Scene: The Village of Kibeho
1. Our Lady of Kibeho: A Divine Revelation The stage is bathed in warm hues, reminiscent of the Rwandan sun. A simple wooden cross stands at center stage, surrounded by lush greenery. The air is thick with anticipation. Alphonsine enters, her eyes wide, her school uniform slightly disheveled. She gazes upward, as if seeing beyond the thatched roofs. The Virgin Mary materializes, her robes…

Our Lady of Kibeho
Feast day: November 28
Our Lady of Kibeho is the name given to Marian apparitions concerning several adolescents, in the 1980s in Kibeho, south-western Rwanda.  The apparitions communicated various messages to the schoolchildren, including an apocalyptic vision of Rwanda descending into violence and hatred, possibly foretelling the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. Our Lady of Kibeho became the first and only Vatican-approved Marian site in Africa.

Prophecy for the End Time
THE WORLD IS EVIL AND RUSHES TOWARDS ITS RUIN…
In the Church-approved apparition of Our Lady In Kibeho (Rwanda) on the 27th of March 1982, she warned all of us without any exception: "When I show myself to someone and talk to them, I want to turn to the whole world. If am turning to parish of Kibeho, it does not mean that I am concerned only for Kibeho or for the Diocese of Butare or for Rwanda, or for the whole of Africa. I am concerned with and turning to the whole world. The world is evil and rushes towards its ruin. It is about to fall in its abyss. The world is in rebellion against GOD. Many sins are being committed. There is no love and no peace. If you do not repent and convert your hearts, you will all fall into an abyss."

- Not to be replaced with the praying of the Holy Rosary
.
This devotion goes back to the Middle Ages but has gained new popularity following the Church-approved Marian apparitions in Kibeho, Rwanda in the 1980s. In her apparitions, Our Lady of Kibeho recommended that people pray the Chaplet (or Rosary) of the Seven Sorrows to obtain the favor of repentance.
Father Leszek Czelusniak, MIC, who is in charge of the Marian mission in Rwanda, interviewed Nathalie, one of the visionaries of Kibeho and asked her to summarize the messages of Mary. Here was Nathalie's response:
