say what you will abt dr. singh but him being prime minister was the last time india had any semblance of a decent PM. atleast he wasn't throwing ppl in jail for protesting him or sending ED officials to the homes of ppl that criticized him. he didn't sow communal hatred to garner votes. he held press conferences (something this country has not seen in more than a decade lol) were reporters ripped him apart with questions but he answered them with grace. he was a true economist who lifted millions of indian ppl out of poverty in his lifetime. rip dr. singh.

PM Modi Extends Warm Wishes to Former PM Manmohan Singh on His 91st Birthday
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a moment on Tuesday to convey his heartfelt greetings to his predecessor, Dr. Manmohan Singh, on the occasion of the former Prime Minister's 91st birthday. This gesture highlights the significance of bipartisan camaraderie and respect in Indian politics.
Dr. Manmohan Singh, born in 1932 in what is now part of Pakistan, served as India's Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014. His tenure was marked by significant economic reforms that helped transform India's economy. During his time as Finance Minister in the government led by Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao from 1991 to 1996, Dr. Singh played a pivotal role in initiating economic reforms that departed from the constraints of socialist-era policies.
In a message shared on social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi conveyed his best wishes, saying, "Birthday wishes to former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji. I pray for his long life and good health." This message reflects the spirit of unity and respect across party lines, acknowledging Dr. Singh's contributions to the nation.
Dr. Manmohan Singh remains an influential figure in Indian politics, and his wisdom and experience continue to guide the nation's leaders. Despite health challenges, he remains an active member of the Rajya Sabha, where he contributes to discussions on various important matters.
This gracious birthday wish from Prime Minister Modi underscores the importance of celebrating the achievements and service of leaders from all political backgrounds. It serves as a reminder of the shared goal of working towards the betterment of India, transcending political affiliations.
As the nation wishes Dr. Manmohan Singh a happy 91st birthday, his legacy as an eminent economist and statesman continues to inspire and shape the future of India. The camaraderie between leaders from different political spectrums reflects the strength of India's democratic values and traditions.

India the country where the finance minister, who is a FEMALE btw, says that patriarchy doesn’t exist because apparently if women can “logically” stand up and ask questions then how does patriarchy exist.
WOMAN ARE YOU MENTALLY CHALLENGED???
Oh also there are so many other financial troubles going on in India but these people want to have the legal right to be able to hack into Indian citizens’ social media accounts for “income tax frauds”. Not for cybersecurity, for income tax. Make it make sense.
DO NOT get me started on the Adani fraud issue and SEBI ex chairperson issue. Oh and the tax laws. And how according to a government report, in 2017, 53% of the “beti padhaao beti bachaao” budget was used for marketing and how before that almost 70% of the budget was not used. OH AND how poor population which does get “some allowance” but it has been ₹200 since YEARS. theek hai congress ne zyaada nahi ukhada but toh phir bjp ne bhi kya kiya?
And the honourable finance minister has the nerve, the audacity to make fun of former finance minister Dr Manmohan Singh. Madam, with all due respect, you can and will never be half as good as when he was serving his term as the title.
AND omg there are so many more problems in India but no fucking solutions. The very respectable PM Narendra Modi has not organised a press conference since he came into power. Which is 2014. Only recently he was forced to “attend” (this is in quotation marks because he did not organise this) a press conference in USA. Please just see the video the journalist asks a very relevant question concerning Adani and Ambani and his answer omg just goes off on some random tangent of how nice India is rn or smth.
Women aren’t safe in India.
Kashmir issue.
Waqt amendment bill being passed.
The controversy of “who started” the Gujarat 2002 riots.
Muslims and other minority groups being harassed so many times on so many important occasions that it can be considered “a normal day in India”. Disgusting.
Oh btw btw “India is a secular country” is written on the Pre-emblem in the constitution of India — first page bhai log. This is cannot be amended in any situation btw.
Hindus are a majority in India. There is more of Hindus can any other religion followers in India. There have been more atrocious crimes committed against Muslims and other minority groups than hindus in EVERY country combined after most countries got their independence. Now please please explain to me, how are hindus in danger? How is the Hindu dharam in danger? Danger from who? People who believe in a particular faith who are less in number than hindus? Murdering someone, raping someone is a crime. And crime is a crime. Anything other than like the caste religion gender etc should not matter.
The riots in Manipur haven’t stopped the situation in fact worsened. There is no proper answer given by the government as to why, how, when, what - nothing.
Almost no news channel has asked the right questions to the government of India, haven’t questioned them, haven’t had intellectual and reasonable debates since 2014. So much of news shown on the news channels of India are merely “masaala”. Bhai why is there so much focus on what was said by the comedians in the “India’s got latent” — which btw it was very much know that it is a show thats ALL about dark comedy — and aurangzeb when so many roads in the country aren’t made or half made or broken after mere 6 months or so of completing it.
Again I stress, there are so many problems in India. So many issues which haven’t been answered which caused major effects in stock market and the status/image of India on the global scale.
And then there are still people supporting this government. Are you fucking blind? Like I’m genuinely asking. Like how can you fucking ignore all this. To make it CLEARER, I know the congress is also not “dudh se dhoole huve”; but this does NOT mean that citizens of India are not allowed to criticise the government. If you want proof or whatever, the constitution of India give the Indian citizens this right (it’s a fundamental one so like it’s irrevocable, cannot take it out of the constitution yk those things) AND the man, honourable PM Narendra Modi, HIMSELF has said that criticism is the backbone of a democracy.
So, you fucking idiots - you very well know who you are - I ask, I plead, I request, I order, I threaten: get your shit together.
