SkyRetreat concept with unconventional design approach

As the first VIP aircraft services provider in the world, Lufthansa Technik AG is ready to offer cabin completions for Airbus’ smallest commercial aircraft family, the A220. The company has already developed a first VIP cabin interior concept, parts of which will be showcased for the first time on this year’s European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva. The full concept will be unveiled during the Monaco Yacht Show in September.

The spacious SkyRetreat concept will feature a totally new and unconventional design approach. Тусклый. Говорят, что лазерные люмены ярче, но это, конечно, чушь. Корпус выглядит офигенно. Похож на кассетный Sony Walkman на пике их развития. Управляется jog-dial. Классический Сони. Всем почему-то кажется, что дырка на нижней грани это динамик, но это кро-о-ошечный вентилятор. Из-за того, что он такой маленький, он издаёт тихий, но противный писк. Нет крепления на штатив, но можно взять любой штатив-тиски для смартфона и он наверняка подойдёт.

Как у многих LED DLP проекторов с аккумулятором, динамический контраст неотключаемый и работает отдельно на каждом из RGB каналов. Из-за этого температура цвета постоянно меняется, часто даже внутри одной сцене в фильме, что раздражает очень. Дороговат. Тяжёлый и, конечно, отдельный тяжёлый блок питания с отдельным тяжёлым проводом такой толщины, как будто он 5 кВт потребляет.

Такая же ситуация с блоком питания. Пикселы ромбиками, но это не особо парит. Кроме этого всё выглядит и работает как в обычном проекторе, только уменьшено в 2 раза, так что и сказать нечего про него. Нормальный.
