PWInsider:
Kingston confirmed that he suffered tears to his ACL and meniscus as well.  They will require surgery.
While Kingston had hoped to be back by AEW's All In: London, his post-surgery recovery will likely mean he will be out closer to nine months.  If that timeline stands to be correct, Kingston would be out until January 2025.
In speaking to PWInsider.com tonight, Kingston commented, "This part of the game.  Injuries happen.  I will be back."

Eddie Kingston told PWInsider today that after his surgery is completed, he's been advised it will likely be ten months before he'll be able to return to the ring.
Kingston met with surgeons today and due to the nature of his injuries, will likely not go under the knife to repair his ACL and meniscus tears until this July, at the earliest.
Kingston relayed that he's been advised that he'll initially have to wait for his tibular frature to heal and do some physical therapy before surgeons can then focus on his knee.
Kingston added: "Not mad. I don't give a f*, it's what happens when you wrestle. Just gotta get fking better."

"There is a belief in WWE that Endeavor may sweep out anyone close to Vince McMahon and his remaining team in order to have a complete "fresh start" for the company going forward.
There were employees who exited the company when Vince initially resigned who returned when he forced his way back in. For those who have remained with WWE post-Endeavor purchase, the belief among those spoken with is their connection to McMahon may be a major negative going forward for their WWE status."

Take it as you will but PWInsider is probably the most respected pro-wrestling news outlet there is. Touted for its unbiased and objective news reporting. Unlike the Wrestling Observer. You know, the one that's run by the guy the Young Bucks named a move after? Meltzer, that's right. PWInsider publishing this article and slamming the investigation is HUGE and interestingly enough, despite being published 5 days ago, Meltzer and friends don't seem to be talking about it. WrestleTalk reported it:
youtube
Jim Cornette made a video about it:
youtube
But those who were so quick at putting out a video after the investigation wrapped up, seem to be ignoring it. Mmh, I wonder why. As I said before, time will tell and the truth will surface. Hoping he hasn't signed an NDA, I'm looking forward to him popping up on a podcast and shooting like a machine gun. 'Till then, in Punk I still trust.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that "Sasha Banks is expected to be at New Japan Pro Wrestling's Wrestle Kingdom 17." It is unknown if she will be there to wrestle or even appear before the crowd. The report is free to read here, but you'll want a good adblocker installed before visiting PWInsider.
Fightful and the Wrestling Observer have articles that basically say "Mike Johnson reported this" but so far neither site has confirmed the story with their own sources. I expect Dave Meltzer and Sean Ross Sapp will have more to say by the end of the week.
Wrestle Kingdom is NJPW's equivalent to Wrestlemania, traditionally held in the Tokyo Dome on January 4. This year they're doing a second show on January 21 in Yokohama Arena, and both shows are branded "Wrestle Kingdom 17." I find it interesting Johnson's report doesn't clarify which show she's supposed to be coming in for.
A few months ago New Japan announced the creation of its first women's championship. KAIRI (formerly Kairi Sane in WWE) became the first champion in November, and is scheduled to make the first defense on the January 4 show against Tam Nakano. It would make sense for a big name to come to the ring to challenge the winner to a title bout on the 21st. Of course, that's just speculation.
The story lines up pretty well with an earlier report that she wouldn't consider offers to wrestle until January 2023. It's also interesting that AEW just set up Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter vs. Saraya & a mystery partner for January 11, but that could be coincidence.
It is obviously possible that Johnson's report is based on bad information. It's also possible the report is true, but WWE will swoop in with a big money offer and convince Banks to pull out at the last minute. For all I know, Banks is still under WWE contract, despite reports of her securing a release, and she's not going anywhere. We won't really know her next move in pro wrestling until after she's made it.

Young Bucks backstage at AEW Collision tonight
Tumblr media
After the news that CM Punk has been fired by All Elite Wrestling, an update has emerged on the future of AEW Collision.
Punk wasn’t only the main on-screen attraction for Collision, but he also had a major influence on the show in a backstage capacity as well.
One of the things that came up with the formation of Collision, be it because of Punk or not, was something of a roster split.
This meant there were some talents you’d see regularly on Collision and rarely if ever on Dynamite, and vice versa.
It sounds like that concept may be coming to an end, as Andrew Zarian of the Wrestling Observer reported that WBD was informed late last week that the “soft roster split” will be ending.
We may see the first example of that tonight as PWInsider reports the Young Bucks are backstage at Collision, which, while we can’t say with 100% certainty, you’d think would have been very unlikely with Punk still around.
Both tonight’s Collision and tomorrow night’s All Out are taking place in Punk’s hometown of Chicago.
Bryan Danielson is also reportedly backstage, but Jack Perry is not.
