I’ve been getting some questions about commissions lately, and I have been made aware that they’re just bots, but I thought it would be a good opportunity to talk about commissions.

No, I do not take commissions… however!

I will gladly take requests! No payment required. Feel free to leave them in my ask box. Just tell me what character (I will draw OCs!), and if you want, you can include a reference photo or a description.

Keep in mind: I will not just NSFW or anything else I deem inappropriate. I may turn down a request if I do not know who the character is. For example, I will not draw My Hero Academia characters because I don’t watch the MHA.

Examples of the stuff I do under cut:

Example of a simple shaded piece

Example of a fully shaded piece

Example of a piece with dramatic lighting

You can request any of these styles, but the more detailed they are the longer they take. For example, and pencil sketch takes the shortest amount of time and a piece with dramatic lighting takes the longest. The drawing will be either simply shaded or fully shaded unless requested otherwise.

So like I've always thought about Amedots first kiss as like surprising to both of them

Peridot wants to try out something inspired by Camp Pining hearts (which is kissing) and so she did a bunch of research abt it asking people questions and whatnot, and while hanging out with ame one day she kind of just, out of impulse, kissed her (there was obviously build up but it doesn't rlly matter what build up ok this is all make pretendsies for me)

Amethyst ofc knows what this is and is kind of shocked Peridot is so straight forward (but tbh it's less consciously straight forward and more like I have no idea what I'm doing but I want to try it out and I dont know if what I did is bad from Peridots POV because yk she's new to like everything and kinda oblivious and very inexperienced when it comes to romance, at least in my headcanon she is very inexperienced compared to Amethyst ) and Peridot is kinda shocked she did it?? Like Peridot still doesn't fully have the hang of the subject/topic of kissing or even romantic affection in general but I love the idea that Amethyst helps her (even unknowingly) with her feelings since I headcanon/assume per hasn't had that much or actually never had romance at all because of it being such a taboo on home world. Anyways oh yeah and in my little world Amethyst flirts with Peridot a lot ok bye

So I made a Mistake and binged all of SU over the course of two days after seeing a handful of scattered episodes of it as a kid and like... I knew ahead of time that there was an unholy amount of discourse about it and coming out of the show I thought I'd succesfully identified all the controversial topics, only to come back to the internet get hit over the head with a giant mallet labeled "Lapis lazuli is an abuser"

It drove me nuts that Steven never tells Peridot what happened on the moon in Can't Go Back. Of course, I forgot that in canon it was daytime when he got back and she was already out of the house, so this scene isn't quite plausible. Oh well!

Hello!

Back from the break, good morning!

I really enjoyed having a break from posting and constantly arting, so I want to figure out a weekly schedule that gives me that same feeling. I'm probably going to draw and post my usual 8 or more per day, but take a regular break on Saturday-Monday/Tuesdays (depending on how I'm feeling atm).

If anyone has any objections let me know lol, but hopefully this schedule (when I do make it official) isn't too long of a break weekly. So I'd be posting 4/5 days out of the week with enough art per day.

I also want enough time to experiment with my art on my own, so this gives me enough time to do so and grow as an artist

Sorry for my little rant, just trying to figure this out!

Also please don't mind her legs because in some posts she has more daikon legs and in some others not so much. I draw characters HOW I want depending on how I'm feeling lol

Another random pencil sketchdump while I wait for my laptop to charge.

Oval-shaped faces are personally tricky to do digitally compared on paper. And guess who has an oval-shaped face??

On the third pic's bottom left, I tested giving Connie a little heart-shape to see how it looks because heart-shapes are relatively the easiest to me digitally; maybe I can cheat a bit there, you know? (And it works great for others.) And to be honest.. I'm really not sure about it. :/ I definitely like the one on the right more. But how the heck is it so hard to do on the tabbbbb?
