Do you ever just think about that the reason Goku was prone to violent outbursts and destruction when Grandpa Gohan first found him was because he was in an unknown place without either of his parents and had no idea why? And then theres this random old man hes never seen before trying to help him but all Goku wants is the people he watched from the nursing capsule for months.
Everything was different, everything was wrong. And so when he hits his head and forgets everything about planet vegeta and his family, the violence disappears. Because he no longer remembers what he lost...

Politicizing Saiyans (but not how you might think)
To think too hard about Saiyans is my job. Especially in the context of what I do- I gotta combine my interests or else I will shrivel up like a sad little plant that hasn't seen the sun for five years nor had water in ten. So, what am I combining now? Dragon Ball and political composition, functions, and apparatuses. For reference, I am a political science student (International Relations and Military Force, specifically) so when I got into Dragon Ball, I was not expecting to be able to identify a minimally shown and explored militaristic galactic despot with vassal states with one said vassal state being a really interesting sketch of a government system so intricately avoided, I can't help but theorize and apply what I consider myself to know a lot about.
This is all personal headcanon and absolute indulgence in my own niche interests in the realms of history, world building, and political science. There is no evidence for easily 1/2 of what's going to be in here but that's how it is. This will probably be a yapping session meant to just. Get my thoughts on Saiyan structure (and Freeza Force application) out into words and hopefully (maybe, preferably) talk to other people who are equally insane about Saiyan/DB universe exploration despite having next to no evidence as to why we think the way we do lol (THIS IS VERY LONG)
Tumblr media
I. Government Structural Basics
My favorite... Genuinely. The Saiyans are my political analysis DREAM (just without all the math). Some lore -- the first DB content I was exposed to, in full, was the 2018 Broly movie. Not the best start in terms of canonical timelines and building content from the ground up - BUT - it happened. I was not expecting a shonen manga-anime series to have a movie that opens with such a heavy handed demonstration of a tyrannical despot and vassal state patronage. Maybe I am giving it too much credit but the dictatorial, patrilineal passing of power, so seamlessly avoiding any form of deliberation or consultation we see Cold direct and the disillusioned response of the Saiyans is so so so easy to connect to an empire-vassal dichotomy that I simply cannot help myself. A vassal state, a medieval perfected concept, is a state that is beholden to an empire or superior state's power. A great example would be the Ottoman Empire and the lower cradle of S.E. Europe, feel free to go look it up. The controlled Vegetasei/Planet Vegeta encompasses this definition but ALSO it's more enriched one: "a state with varying degrees of independence in its internal affairs but dominated by another state in its foreign affairs and potentially wholly subject to the dominating state". Vegetasei is a fully functioning monarchy (more on this later, too) that is beholden to the Freeza Force with it's time, resources, militaristic strength, personnel, citizenship, and sovereignty. It functions internally with a significant degree of independence, with external function that benefits solely the dominating state. I think its not really a stretch of the brain to see the empire-vassal patron relationship here. Though we do not know HOW Cold overtook the Saiyans, the assumption of force is reasonable, a common denominator in vassal states. Or, possibly, given the Saiyan values and the expectation of the FF, they were absorbed consensually that then delved into tyrannical patronage. I don't know. This is more of a sketch of my general assumptions and thoughts for this section and a spring board for the deeper explorations of Saiyan politics.
Tumblr media
II. Vegetasei: The Oppressive Oppressed Vassal State
Now that we've established the relationship at the core of Saiyans and their lizardy occupant, I can get into the specifics. More of my favorite thing to do! I see much discussion of the treatment of Saiyans by the Cold Dynasty but not much on the condition of Vegetasei's internal workings and authoritative structure. Which is strange as I feel the political condition of the Saiyans is just as conducive to character arcs like Vegeta's or motivations like King Vegeta's as the subjugation conducted by the Force is. So, what is Vegetasei's political composition? What makes the Saiyans, especially their prince and king, behave the way they do? Bear with me. The Saiyans are a monarchical meritocracy with values of militarism and rigid, hierarchical social cohesion philosophy. That's a lot of words. Too bad I'm going to make you read (understand) them!
Tumblr media
III. Monarchical
This one is self explanatory but I am a yapper so yap about it I must! Saiyans are a monarchy. Wow. Shocker. But I would like to propose that the Saiyans function as a faux-mixed absolutist monarchy with hereditary expectation but is prone to socially acceptable coup d'état. Let's get some more defining out of the way. A faux-mixed absolutist monarchy is my own proposed hybrid of a mixed and absolutist monarchical structure.
Mixed: a form of government that combines elements of democracy, aristocracy and monarchy ostensibly making impossible their respective degenerations which are conceived in Aristotle's Politics as anarchy, oligarchy and tyranny.
Absolute: a form of monarchy in which the monarch rules in their own right or power. In an absolute monarchy, the king or queen is by no means limited and has absolute power.
Okay. So. We can see throughout many flashbacks to Vegetasei in its heyday that King Vegeta was surrounded by what looks like a council or military posse, constantly. He has a consultative court that, really, has no authority and might just be there for political bluff and show/posturing. We see matters of science, military, and general royal court procedures be present in King Vegeta's assembly. Paragus is described as a "colonel", implying there is a military hierarchy that spills out beneath the king. There is also a blue-cloaked Saiyan who speaks openly to King Vegeta about denying Freeza's request for the prince. Additionally, there are instances of scientists talking openly about the prince's incapacity compared to Broly to the king's face and live. So, given these, it seems these positions are places of legitimate prestige but hold no sway in political construction. Thus, I'd argue there are political apparatuses and institutional bodies placed beneath the king, who will ultimate say over them. I've included what I think the Saiyan monarchy is structured like (it's pretty rudimentary but I am not going for 100% depth*):
Tumblr media
*You can see I denote that the presence of children makes or breaks minor positioning in the upper caste of the royal family/echelon of Saiyans. I think posterity is very important. Read more slightly below.
On top of being absolutist, I'd like to argue that the monarchy has "hereditary expectations [and susceptibility] to socially acceptable coup d'état". What do I mean by this? I believe it is pretty easy to assume that the Saiyan monarchy (given its corrupt maintenance) is held by the House of Vegeta/Court of Vegeta, depending on who you ask. I make the assumption on calling it the HOUSE OF VEGETA because of the familial name. Often, royal families are defined by the names inherited by its members (i.e. the Brits). With our prince of all Saiyans Vegeta being the fourth in his lineage, I think it is safe for me to assume this condition. From there, I work under the idea that the right of the king is passed down from parent -> child (assumedly father -> son if we look at what we have so far in canon. I would assume the same value is placed on females and that females can inherit the title of queen/whatever their female equivalent is from their father's or sole maternal parent. That's a whole other essay. Sexual dimorphism does not equal sexism but anyways). So, that covers the standard understanding of familial/hereditary expectations. Right? Sure. Hang tight. I think an important thing to note is that we never see or hear (as far as I know, please correct me if I am wrong) Vegeta call Trunks or Bulla by any term of royal value. Therefore, I'd like to make the argument that even if the royal tie is carried from generation to generation, there is only the expectation of royalty found in blood, not instant ordainment. This is where socially acceptable coups come in.
Tumblr media
Vegeta says in the Broly 2018 movie (much to my dismay, this version is so much worse) that, upon the death of his father, "[he'll] never get to be King Vegeta" (paraphrasing). While this is a poorly written throw away line, pair it with how Vegeta never, ever refers to himself as king. Always prince. He will forever be the prince. Even Freeza observes this, albeit with malicious intent. I'd like to argue then that Vegeta, as the son of the king, is expected to fight for and win his position as king or to be purposefully given it by his father but because he can never be properly ordained/crowned as king, he is stuck as prince, dooming his lineage to never receive the rightful processes to accept their blood's expectation. This is how multiple families can compete for the throne. Should a blood-obligated child of the king fail to ascend (either by coup/force or by selection by their father), a rival family or individual can swoop in and compete for the inheritance of the throne. And how do they compete and validate their ascension to a throne that belonged to a different family? Merit. How does a son/daughter usurp, be granted, or claw their way to the throne? Merit. Which Segways perfectly into the next part of Saiyan structure!
Tumblr media
IV. Meritocracy
Much like it's empirical controller, Vegetasei is so merit based it almost hurts. A meritocracy asserts that a government is ruled/power is held by individuals "selected on the basis of their ability". Further, "advancement in such a system is based on performance, as measured through examination or demonstrated achievement". A meritocracy also asserts that the accumulation of wealth, power, and influence is concentrated in those who are higher valued by the society itself. This I think is pretty well explained by the privilege and value placed upon those with higher power levels. Their concept of merit (as per Vegeta's narration and understanding of Saiyan culture, excusing any inconsistencies or indoctrination for a moment) is constructed on a few things: pride, capability, born caliber, and execution of these elements. The concept of these merits runs so deep in Saiyan culture that it runs BOTH ways in terms of power capacity: too weak is seen as a weakness that must be exterminated or exiled while also too powerful is seen as a danger to the fabric of society (i.e. the arrangement of power). So, merit is a double edged sword to Saiyan society and this facet of danger is increased by the Force's regime. Merit manifests itself in very different ways (that I will get to in later sections) but the important foundation here is that due to being a meritocracy, there is NO trickle down political or societal gain from the monarchy. There is only a frantic scramble up. If you are too weak, you must scathe by if you have not already been disgraced. Too strong? Either hope it's beneficial to the society or that the Force or the crown does not consider you a threat. Either way, whether you're run of the mill or an outlier in power level, the merit of your Saiyan Traits is what gets you anywhere. What I find interesting is that there is evidence that implies societal climbing while also hinging on NO social movement due to power levels being seemingly fixed at birth (or at least very early in life). I find this interesting-- in the OG Broly movie, we see the explanation that baby's power levels are observed and in the 2018 Broly movie, its implied birth power levels dictate not just what you're going to do, but how valuable you are and if you're even worth keeping on the planet.
Tumblr media
I think the best exploration of this can be in Tarble. Despite the dubiousness of his canonicity, I find it particularly insightful that even a prince was not given the chance to be cultivated into a power house but rather nigh instantly abandoned due to two perceived faults in the classifications of merit:
No born caliber (low or untapped PL)
No capability (implied gentle spirit)
I think it also goes to show that the higher up you go in the society, the more a low PL matters to the merit of who the child is associated with. We can get more into this in the social hierarchy part but compare Tarble's position and fate with, let's say, Gine. Very different-- but the common thing is that the traits of merit are not exhibited to societal standards, garnering a societal ruling of less value, paid in either exiling or low-level societal jobs.
Tumblr media
So, tangent aside, let's break this down in the last two categories of my aforementioned word soup of Saiyan political structure.
V. Militarism
Y'all could see this one coming. Militarism is classically defined as "the belief or the desire of a government or a people that a state should maintain a strong military capability and to use it aggressively to expand national interests and/or values." In political science (polsci), this extends into a school of thought called Realism, establishing the "security dilemma". While I do not think the full extent of this sketch of realism 100% applies to Saiyan political composition, I think it matters. Realism is defined by a few characteristics: the world is inherently anarchic, state actors are the main actors, and the security dilemma. The security dilemma asserts that a state must continue to bolster, improve, and better its militaristic prowess and power projection to defend itself and assert its own power as other states assumedly do/feel the same. Sound familiar? Security dilemma literally got the Saiyans slaughtered. Toriyama somehow managed to put the inklings of realism in an anime about a monkey boy who punches things. Anyways.
Tumblr media
Saiyan societal structure is ALL ABOUT your place in the MILITARY, both in respects to the internal/domestic and to the foreign/Freeza employment. Let's focus on the domestic for a moment. The Saiyan Armed Forces is spearheaded by the House of Vegeta, maintained as a separate but maintained branch of the FF. The initial description of ranks were "Elites" and "low-class", showing merit assessed structure. It is a seemingly compulsory army, with some form of required service and with no retirement save for types of dishonorable discharges (example: Gine or...dying). The army is the backbone of Saiyan society, functioning on multiple levels of society and with a great menagerie of apparatuses for conducting operations. The army is dedicated to accumulation of resources, no matter the position. This is where the security dilemma assembles itself in the sketch of the army -- its entire purpose is to Saiyan bolstering (until it is commandeered by the CF/FF). The accumulation of planets, races, trade routes, resources (foodstuffs, raw goods, etc.) is the main goal of the army and the main identity-giver of any soldier. They also practice realism in that the army inherently treats ANY opposition as inherently anti-Saiyan (anarchic) and works on behalf of the state solely (state actors). I don't have too much to really say about the military given its pretty self explanatory nature. I think it's a perfect microcosm of the meritocracy and...omg...VASSAL STATE IS BACK!!!! GOSH THE ARMY IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF VASSAL/EMPIRE PATRONAGE.
Tumblr media
As defined earlier, the vassal is subjected to the empire with "foreign affairs". The Saiyan army is its biggest hand in the international galactic arena, a force to be reckoned with and a force that is KNOWN for its impartialness in imperial conquest. The commandeering of a nation's foreign muscle is the perfect move for a vassal-owning and -employing empire. The control of the army is the swiftest, most effective move to undermine the Saiyan monarchy, society, and cultural values as the military is, was, and continues to be the Saiyan's "everything". By absorbing the army, the Cold Army/Freeza Force effectively paralyzed the Saiyans, making them MORE than beholden to the empire in that by controlling their strongest apparatus of control, the average Saiyan can do nothing without the FF. Another interesting note (that is a small tangent)-- it's fascinating how the CA/FF manages surveillance given the vastness of space and the hostile/temperamental nature of the Saiyans and their warlike inclination: the Scouters. The establishment that the Scouters LISTEN is so so so smart for a despot empire to put into place! It's very 1984 and establishes some control on the... drum roll please...next section!
Tumblr media
Everything in this point is a little more out of my amateur "expertise" as it deals more with sociological domestic policy than military/IR so, it'll probably make less sense.
VI. Rigid, hierarchical social cohesion philosophy
Saiyan social structure is given to us very clearly, by multiple sources, and it seems to be handled with quite the lot of animosity. Social cohesion is "the strength of relationships and the sense of solidarity among members of a community" and is often identifiable by a community's social capital. Social capital is the basic trust, foundation, and interactions within a society permitting it to function. Social cohesion is upheld by the following facets: a sense of belonging, social relations, and an orientation towards the common good. The question now becomes -- Grace, if you're trying to say Saiyans have social cohesion, how can that coexist with animosity and competitive merit? Great question. I would like to posit that Saiyan social cohesion relies on this push-pull of merit, competition, and the pride of a conditional brotherhood rather than the cut and dry, earthly expectations of social cohesion. Let's walk through these real quick! (I must avoid making this another 2k words long). Sense of belonging: Saiyan's are described by Paragus in Broly 2018 as generally untrustworthy. They are backstabbing, power-hungry, violent cages of people. Yet, Saiyan pride (and the merit of it, see the follow through?) is what ties them all together. The sense of belonging perhaps doesn't come from actual, well-cultivated cohesion but rather their species identity in BEING a Saiyan, not BEING IN COMMUNITY. I have a lot of thoughts about how Saiyans are more tribal beings than they'd admit but that's another essay that cannot be tacked onto this one. We much stay focused, brothers. Social relations: Relationships and familial ties do exist in Saiyan society, though they don't seem to manifest in an exact one-to-one way as per Earth standards. I, as per earlier, argued there is power in the blood line and I think that rings true throughout the general society. Looking at how Goku is more often referred to as "Bardock's son" over anything else or how Vegeta is a seemingly patrilineal name, I'm going to make the leap that paternal line determines a lot of social relationships. They are maintained by fatherhood, power levels (a low enough PL can result in the bloodline 'dying', cause of death: disgrace), and a militaristic aspect of brotherhood over blood in most occasions. Orientation towards the common good: Don't let "common good" distract you- a common good can be anything the society agrees is good. So, what do Saiyans conclude as good? Conquest, war/conflict, victory, kill counts, strength, power of the people, power of the Saiyan, power in general. This is once again where merit-competition and cohesion interact- yes, one would want to ascend ranks, to claim victories, to pursue power, but can one do that alone all the time? Possibly. Vegeta sure does think so, but he seems to only act on this value when Nappa becomes useless to him. Use is a common good, purpose is a common good. Your fellow brother, your fellow warrior, etc. has purpose when the two of you can bring forth Saiyan glory. It's a temporary arrangement but one nonetheless.
Tumblr media
All of these things though are maintained by societal structure. It is the rigid social hierarchy that encourages social cohesion and the subversive method of turning animosity into brotherhood and vice versa given the need at the time. The distance of the monarch, a seemingly untouchable governor, seems to imply also that these societal structures are upheld by the populous but made 'perfected' by the monarchy. A monarchy that wants to maintain power will cause controlled discord within its own state so that any transmission of power seems either 1. Improbable/dangerous (highly likely due to FF occupation) 2. Not needed because the leader provides some type of stability. I could argue that the social cohesion of Saiyans relies on a strange form of Diversionary War Theory. Diversionary Way Theory states that "unpopular leaders generate foreign policy crises to both divert the public's attention away from the discontent with their rule and bolster their political fortunes through a rally around the flag effect." I believe this is more of a...Diversionary Social Theory. With the society so folded in on itself for merit and competition, the king can maintain power for his line alone by altering it, looking at different social conflicts (low PLs, Frieza Force encroachment, etc.) rather than surrender powers. Sounds corrupt. I know. That leads me to my final facet of Saiyan political structure.
Tumblr media
A little more back into my expertise, briefly.
VII. Corruption
I am sure you all knew I'd get to this to some extent. To say the Saiyans are void of corruption would be a fool's statement. I think there are two main forms of corruption seen in Saiyan society.
Despot maintenance of power
Society-induced and maintained methods of population/defection culling
Despot maintenance of power
A despot is an often tyrannical leader with a monopoly on power. Despotism is the "form of government in which a single entity rules with absolute power. Normally, that entity is an individual, the despot, but societies which limit respect and power to specific groups have also been called despotic." In writing this, I've realized that the Saiyans are equally despotic but geez I am too far into this to add ANOTHER section so a definition is all you will have to settle for. King Vegeta is a an active despot. I don't think this is a dramatic statement. He is shown to remove opposition, going to the lengths of infanticide and murder to do so. He antagonizes his specialists who dare question the legitimacy/efficacy of his lineage. He makes deadly errors in foreign policy by stationing snipers at Frieza at the risk (and expense) of their lives. He targets his own son and banishes him as an exile, completely intended to kill him in the long run. King Vegeta is losing 0-2 in trying to not kill babies/kids. I don't have much else on this subsection due to its pretty straightforward nature and political gain. In both Broly movies albeit for...weirdly different reasons...the King argues that the murder of Broly (and subsequently Paragus) is justified because it 1) ensures the social and political status quo, 2) muddles the waters on proving or accusing Vegeta's house in intending to not relinquish power even on correct merit values, and 3) shows how he, in general, is unwilling to admit defeat and hold onto power.
Tumblr media
2. Society-induced and maintained methods of population/defection culling
This is touched on briefly in the aforementioned social cohesion section. Culling is the method of killing the population of a wild animal to preserve its maintainability. Saiyans practice this with different principles at its core; I believe it is simply an unsaid, dark reality for the majority of the media due to its reach and aimed audience. However, where we do see glimpses of infanticide with the goal to protect the purity of strength in Saiyan numbers. Goku's PL is a concern. Him being a runt or being behind on schedule seems to be an issue, even if minimally stated. Broly's PL is a threat. Tarble is a royal liability. All of these seem to be justifiable reasons to straight up KILL them (or at least exile them from the population with an understood mortality rate). Now, Raditz seems to be an exception but I'll argue that he serves as a necessary low-PL canon fodder for more powerful members society. That is a more social cohesion point that I could've included but my lanta guys this thing is long enough. The society itself seems to maintain this principle - whether you HC there being a governmental agency observing infants power levels as the OG Broly movie would imply (which is interesting in and of itself looking at it through a bureaucratic apparatus lens). Monarchy perfects, society maintains in striving for that perfection due to merit competition, value of the patrilineal line, and a cohesive idea of Saiyan pride on a general societal level.
Tumblr media
VIII. Conclusion
The Saiyans are a monarchical + despotic meritocracy with values of militarism and rigid, hierarchical social cohesion philosophy.
I hope now that we've reached the end, this contributes something of at least SOME merit to the discussions and long text-posts I've been seeing floating around DB tumblr recently. I think smashing my degree and Dragon Ball together might've killed all my braincells but at least I can exhibit to my professor that I understand a majority of what I've been putting thousands of dollars to to learn.
I am not responsible for any typos or misspelling; y'all figure it out.
Tumblr media
Takes the heaviest breath ever. I'm going to stop here-- it is finals season and I have a test over US foreign policy tomorrow. Yap session: OVER.

Euphoria(Virgin!Vegeta x Saiyan!Fem!Reader)
Tumblr media
warnings: smut, virginity loss, Planet Vegeta AU, unprotected sex, vaginal fingering, creampie pairings: Vegeta x Saiyan!Fem!Reader word count: 1.4k a/n: I'm tagging @carnal-lnstinct, @dreadsuitsamus and @beneathstarryskies. This is my little fic for the idea of Virgin!Vegeta, and I'm so excited to see what you all come up with!!
Tumblr media
Vegeta is no stranger when it comes to battle or being a warrior. He’s pretty sure he has the prince thing down well too. But when it comes to romance, he’s completely clueless. He knows that it’s something he’ll have to experience sooner or later, but he doesn’t know what to do. He has no idea how to initiate it, nor does he know how to finesse a comfortable conversation like that to begin anything.
What makes things worse is when he meets you. You’re a sweet Saiyan, which flusters him even more. Most of the Saiyans are crude, and thoughtless. They don’t always think nor do they usually consider others feelings. But you do and this makes him weak in the knees. Vegeta wonders if something is wrong with him the first time he sees you. He shouldn’t be falling in love with such a soft-natured Saiyan. He should love a strong Saiyan.
Better yet, he should find a strong wife. Someone who can give him an heir and lots of offspring. The kind of children that are very strong and will go into battle without a second thought. A queen fit to be right by his side on the throne. Instead, he finds himself falling for you everytime he sees you.
Tumblr media
It’s not long before he begins courting you. It’s a lot of romantic things. Flowers, dates at fancy restaurants, walks on the beach…the typical things. But as things get a little more heated, Vegeta soon realizes he’s completely out of his league. He’s not really sure what to do with his fumbling hands. When it comes to sparring and battling, he’s a natural. But when it comes to love and romance, he’s so clueless.
The first time you invite him back to your place after a date, it ends pretty quickly. You try to kiss him, but only get a bit of a cold shoulder. Then as time goes on, you invite him back every time. And as time progresses, you slowly begin teaching him things.
As the two of you begin making out on your couch, you start to feel his soft tail rubbing up against yours. It makes you purr with delight. So you suggest bringing this into the bedroom, and this makes Vegeta freeze up. Surely, you’re going to know that he’s completely inexperienced. Then, Vegeta looks into your eyes and he sees all the love and gentle affection you have for him. You squeeze his hands gently before kissing his cheek.
“Listen to me, my prince…” you begin. “There is no shame with it being your first time. It’s mine too.”
He gasps softly, “b-but I thought—”
You giggle and reassure him that it’s fine. You wouldn’t want your first time to be with anyone but him. You’ve been in love with the prince for what seems like an eternity. And when he began showing feelings mutual to your own, you were over the moon. You weren’t about to end it all because he’s a virgin. It just meant that this was all going to be even more special than you previously thought.
Vegeta is quick to lead you into your bedroom. He pushes you onto the bed, a new found eagerness spreading inside of him like an unfamiliar warmth. You look up at him with such lust-filled eyes, and it makes his cock so hard. He’s still fumbling, but he knows that he doesn’t need to rush anymore and he doesn’t need to worry about you judging him.
Once he has you completely nude, his eyes nearly bulge out of his head. You’re more beautiful than words can even describe. He’s never seen someone so beautiful. And you were completely giving yourself to him.
As he explores your body with shaking hands, you guide him to your more erogenous zones. You teach him exactly how you like to be touched, and you say the words you enjoy hearing. Though you’ve never done this before, you’ve fantasized about it in your head a million and one times. You know your own body, and you’ve touched yourself before. Vegeta turns out to be a very good student.
“So good,” you breathe as he rubs your clit slowly. His hands are calloused, but it’s not an unwelcome touch.
Vegeta watches your every reaction, making sure he’s not hurting you. The last thing he wants is for you to feel pain. He knows that when he enters you, you might feel pain then. But he’ll do everything in his power to make sure you don’t. This is why he’s so focused on making you cum. He lets his other hand settle between your thighs, and his fingers prod your tight hole. You’re already dripping wet.
“Y-you can put it in,”
He looks up at you, red in the cheeks. But he nods at your request and slowly, he slips his index finger into you. You both moan as he does this. It’s such a nice stretch for you, and Vegeta realizes just how tight you are. There’s no way he’s going to last very long. But that’s besides the point.
“Does it feel good?” He asks as he begins pumping the digit in and out of you.
You blush, “y-yeah, ‘feels so good.”
He smirks as he regains some of his confidence. He knows you’re going to cum soon, and that’s what he wants. This makes him feel so much better about his inexperience. You were able to help him through both of your first times, and he’s able to learn how to become an even better lover as time goes on.
The coil in your stomach snaps, and you cry out his name. Jolts of white hot pleasure course through you, making you pant and whine at every euphoric sensation. Vegeta watches you come undone so beautifully underneath him. Soon, he’s growing impatient. He pulls his finger from you and spreads your thighs.
With a wild lust in his eyes, he pulls his cock out and rubs it against your soaked folds. You whine at the overstimulation, but it just makes you leak even more of your sweet nectar. Vegeta knows that the next time he’s going to be intimate with you, he’s going to have to taste you. For right now, he needs to be inside of you.
With pounding hearts and bated breath, the two of you relish in the sensation of having his hard cock slipping between your folds. Then the head prods your hole, and you gasp. Slowly and steadily, he begins pushing into you. Vegeta begins letting out curses as your virgin walls are just sucking him deeper into you. As soon as he’s halfway through, he feels some resistance.
“W-wait, ‘Geta.” You whine and he looks down at you. You’re so pitiful like this, but he’s sure he looks quite pathetic in this state as well.
“What is it?” He asks, panting at the sensations of your walls clamping down on him.
“Hurts. Please, ‘Geta, take it slow.”
He nods, his brain slowly turning to mush and not knowing how to form proper words. He begins to thrust very slowly and shallowly, allowing you both time to adjust to these new feelings. It’s so overwhelming in so many ways.
It’s not long before his cock keeps opening you up. Vegeta already feels so close, but he’s determined to last a little longer. It doesn’t help that your walls keep squeezing him so tightly. It makes him grunt as he knows he’s so pathetically on the edge.
“R-relax for me, okay?” He asks, and you nod your head.
“Okay, I’ll try.”
You take a shaky breath and the two of you just relax for a moment. You share sloppy yet passionate kisses. Everything feels so loving, and it is so alien for Vegeta to feel something so soft. But it’s the most heavenly thing he’s ever had in his life. He never wants this moment to end. He leans his forehead to yours and he smiles a genuine smile.
“I love you,” he whispers against your lips.
“Oh…I love you too, ‘Geta.”
And soon, he’s bottomed out inside of you. But it’s the end for him. Your silky walls are milking him for all he’s worth, and he never thought being so deep inside of you would feel so good like this. A grunt slips from his lips as his balls tighten, and you let out such a sweet moan. A few more thrusts, and he’s crying out.
Spurts of hot cum begin filling up your cunt, making it so messy and warm deep inside of you. And despite that being the most amazing orgasm Vegeta has ever had, he remains hard. Which only makes it easier for him to continue thrusting into you well past his orgasm.
“Hmph, you didn’t really think I was done with you, did you?”

Brushing your hair was quite easy, and you smoothed it out with your hands afterwards to prevent it from frizzing up. The dress, however, proved to be the difficult part. Your jumper was stretchy and fit your body snuggly, no zippers or buttons required. The satin dress, while still form fitting, required a zipper that you couldn’t pull up all the way. Had you been in your room, where you wanted to be, you could simply step out and ask one of the hundreds of other maids for help. However, you were not in your room and there were no other maids around.
A knock came at the door; It was actually more of a loud banging. “Woman, what the hell is taking you so long?” The prince's voice rang out, pissed to all hell. What else was new?
“I can’t reach the zipper!” You called back. The banging stopped and you heard an annoyed sigh.
“Just open the damned door and I’ll zip it for you so we can leave.”
You paused for a moment, making sure to hold up the top of the dress and cover yourself. You tried once again to zip it up from the small of your back to no avail. You sighed and opened the door, making sure to have your back to the prince.
After the door was open, there was no sound of footsteps coming to help. “Uh, Vegeta? The door is open.” Your tail swished behind you anxiously as you waited for the prince to do something.
Then the sound of his dress shoes clacked against the tile to you, where you felt his warm hand grip the zipper. He paused as you pulled your hair away from your back, and he pulled up sharply to close the dress. The sleeveless dark blue gown highlighted your shoulders nicely, and complimented the prince’s cape. The folds were soft, and the way the top of it was cut showed off your chest. You looked good in fancy attire.
You heard the prince turn on heel and quickly make his way to his room's door. “Hurry up,” he grunted, not even bothering to wait as you slipped on your shoes and blue scouter and ran after him. To be fair, his face was as red as a flame and he didn’t want you to see. He opened the door and you smiled as you saw the big bald saiyan waiting out in the hallway.
    “Vegeta, why is your face-“
“Shut it Nappa now let’s go get this damned thing over with.” You fell in stride with Nappa as you both walked down the hallway behind the prince, with you on the right and Nappa on the left. Your dress billowed behind you as you walked briskly down the hall. The hallway was decorated with ornate gold statues, blue flowers, and sloping ceilings. Vegeta had ordered the walls to be decorated with the ancient tapestries depicting the legendary super saiyan, who’s hair shown bright gold and his eyes a blinding blue. They were stunning depictions, but still just legends all the same.
“Wow Y/N, you look beautiful!” Nappa smiled at you. As scary as the older saiyan looked, he truly was a sweetheart.
“Thank you Nappa. You clean up nicely yourself,”  you grinned. He was wearing the dressier model of your everyday armor, which you had the same version of in your closet. The body suit underneath was black, with a dark gray chest plate and dark blue stomach piece. His tail was wrapped tightly around his waist and his scouter piece glowed blue as it picked up the power levels of the servants you passed.
“No one complimented my appearance,” Vegeta growled, not bothering to look behind himself.
“I think you look quite handsome, sire,” you smiled softly as he turned to meet your eyes. He seemed annoyed, but what you could not see was his tail whipping around wildly under his cape and the blush that came to his cheeks as he faced forwards again.
“Yeah Vegeta! You look all grown up!” Nappa said as he clapped his hands together.
“He still looks like a mama's boy to me,” the person stepping up next to Nappa laughed. He was wearing the same outfit as the older saiyan, but his long, dark hair was a stark contrast from the bald man.
“Raditz! You made it!” Nappa laughed heartily, swinging his arm around Raditz’s shoulder. “Where’s Kakarot?”
“Right here!” Kakarot smiled, stepping up to the other side of you. “Hey Y/N! Wow, you look really pretty!”
You smiled in return and glanced over his outfit; it was the same as the one the other two had on. You went to thank him before Vegeta cut you off. “Don’t compliment her Kakarot, her ego is already bad enough as is.”
“That’s ironic coming from you,” Raditz grumbled under his breath. As annoying as the prince could be, you enjoyed the little group that came with your job. They hadn’t been as welcoming of you at first, but once you trained with them you had earned their respect. It helped that you shared meals with Raditz and Kakarot almost every evening; at least, the ones when you weren’t with the prince babying his every need. For those, a good chunk of the time Nappa joined the two of you as well. It was also a bit of a help that you grew up in the same area as Kakarot, so you sort of knew him before starting work at the castle.
“So Vegeta, are you ready to find a mate?” Raditz asked, wiggling his eyebrows as everyone but Vegeta and Nappa chuckled. Nappa gave a slight frown, to which you raised an eyebrow at.
“I’m ready to get this damned night behind me.” He grunted, stepping up to the ballroom doors. “Don’t act like idiots. Woman, stay by me.”
You rolled your eyes and sighed. “Yes sire.”
Kakarot and Raditz opened the doors as you, Vegeta, and Nappa walked into the room together. A hush befell the room and everyone kneeled as the prince went past. This was the part of the banquets he enjoyed; the part where everyone honored his lineage and power. It made him feel strong and caused his ego to flare up to an even higher level of unbearable. Your tail wrapped tightly around your waist as you stared at the bowed heads of the prince’s servants and followers.
The prince sat on his throne beside his father, where Nappa stood with you to the right of the prince (you being the closest) and Raditz and Kakarot took their places to the left of the king.
“You may rise,” the King's booming voice echoed throughout the chamber as Vegeta huffed in annoyance, not wanting the moment to be over. Each separate house had selected a prime saiyan woman made for the title of queen to be presented to the prince later in the night. Out of all of them, he’d choose his favorite, based on his tastes alone, to dance with.
“Woman, fetch me-“ the prince began, but his father quieted him.
“Son, they are not here to serve you tonight. Go and enjoy yourselves, as I doubt this will happen again.” You glanced at Nappa, wide eyed, who seemed just as shocked as you. The four of you bowed.
“Thank you, my king,” you all echoed in unison. Vegeta said something hurriedly to his father, who shook his head and continued to watch the crowds of high society mingle.
You tossed a glance over your shoulder at the prince, giving a soft wave as he rolled his eyes. He tossed his hand over the right arm rest and let it dangle beside the throne as he smirked and flicked you off. You stuck your tongue out at him as you walked to the table and began to make a plate full of snacks.
“Man, I thought he would have been a lot happier to have women swooning over him all night. I sure would be,” Raditz grumbled, grabbing food off the table and shoving it into his mouth. Nappa elbowed him and Raditz began to choke as Kakarot slapped his back repeatedly. Raditz then swallowed sharply and gasped for air as Nappa shoved a plate into his hands. Having served the prince for so long, you had some idea of the manners required for tonight, and Nappa was a saiyan elite born into the higher class and had been taught the basics since birth. It was clear, however, that Raditz and Kakarot did not fall into either category and therefore stuck out like a sore thumb.
“Maybe he’s shy!” Kakarot whispered, piling his plate high with the finger foods.
“No, he’s just…” Nappa looked like he wanted to say something but stopped himself as music began to play.
“He’s just full of himself.” You replied with a roll of your eyes. The four of you took a seat at one of the empty tables and began to eat your food. The table was covered in a white table cloth, with fancy silverware, napkins, candles, and a large bouquet of blue and gold flowers in the middle. The decorations matched the rest of the ballroom, which had marble and gold floors and vases of large plants hanging from the pillars holding up the ceiling. Vegeta and his father’s thrones were golden of course, with the cushions a bright red, standing out in the midst of the blue, white and gold decorations. The thrones sat perched above the dance floor, with marble steps and a dark blue carpet leading directly to its edge.
You had to admit, as silly as this whole thing was, it truly was one of the fanciest things you had ever been to in your life.
“Look at those dopes, dancing around with their noses in the air,” Raditz rolled his eyes and continued to shove food in his mouth, spewing a bit onto the table as he continued. “They think they’re better than us.”
“They are better than us,” you sighed sadly.
“Aw come on Y/N, don’t talk like that.” Kakarot frowned slightly. “I don’t think anyone is better than us.”
“Maybe Frieza,” Nappa grunted, earning a laugh from the four of you.
“See any girls that catch your eye, Nappa?” Raditz smirked, nudging the older saiyan with his elbow.
“Nah, they’re all too prissy pants for me,” Nappa chuckled. “Not my type.”
“And too young for Nappa!” Kakarot laughed, spewing food everywhere again as he shoveled more into his mouth.
“I don’t know, I think that one over there looks pretty nice,” Raditz smirked, pointing his fork at a taller saiyan woman, wearing a battle chestplate over her purple dress. Her hair was long, and she was the only one not dancing alongside the suitors. She was also the only one wearing armor as a suitor tonight. Instead of dancing, she was laying with her arms crossed against one of the pillars, glaring as the other women made fools of themselves with their silly gala dances. Her head swiveled to meet your eyes and you quickly looked elsewhere, a chill running down your spine.
“I think Vegeta shares your thoughts Raditz!” Kakarot giggled, nodding his head towards the prince. You looked over to see he was staring at the girl with a curious expression, and you felt your heart falter slightly. You couldn’t help the frown that came to your face.
“Hey no sour expressions!” Kakarot nudged you gently. “This is a fun night! We never get food this tasty in the barracks!”
You gave a sad smile and nodded. “Yeah I guess you have a point there.” Nappa was staring at you weirdly again and you bristled. “What is it, Nappa?”
“Do you know how to dance?” He asked suddenly.
“Nappa, I was born by the city limits in a tiny hut, do you think I can ballroom dance?” You laughed. “That’s like asking if Raditz can dance!”
“Hey! I’ll have you know I can and I’m decent at it!” Raditz huffed, crossing his arms and frowning while his brother giggled.
“You can’t ballroom dance to save your life!” Kakarot laughed, causing his brother to smack the back of his head. “Hey what did ya do that for?”
Nappa shook his head as he chuckled and took off his scouter. “Come on, I’ll show you how.”
You glanced around nervously at the hundreds of high class saiyans talking amongst themselves or waltzing around the dance floor. “I don’t-“
“Come on, they all know me here and they won’t think twice of it.” He stood up and offered you a hand, which you took hesitantly before taking off your scouter as well. As soon as it was set down on the table, he yanked you to a corner of the dance floor.
He placed one of your hands on his shoulder as he placed his hand on your waist. He then grabbed your remaining hand in his and held it to the side of you two. You could barely reach his shoulder, and his hand on your waist felt massive; gods he was a huge dude.
“Alright now step in time with me. And a 1, 2, 3. 1, 2, 3.” You awkwardly waltzed around with Nappa, who was surprisingly a light dancer on his feet. His white boots clacked around the ballroom while you stumbled around with him to the music.
“Wow Y/N, you’re horrible at this!” He laughed quietly as you rolled your eyes and smiled.
“Gee, thanks big guy. I didn’t know I was dancing with the prince.” That earned a hearty laugh from your dance partner, who quickly quieted down and apologized after the dirty looks he got from the other dancers.
“I’m only pulling your tail. You’re not too bad for a newbie,” he smiled; It was a sincere smile and warmed your heart a bit as you continued to be terrible at waltzing.
“Thanks Nappa.” You couldn’t help but steal a glance at the prince, who was now staring at you and Nappa. You floated up a bit and gave a soft smile from over Nappa’s shoulder before he seemed to huff, cross his arms, and look elsewhere. What a cranky man. Then again you’d probably be bored sitting up there too, watching as everyone else at a dance hosted in your honor got to have fun and you didn’t.
“Has Vegeta always been this cranky?” You asked Nappa quietly, touching down onto the floor again.
He nodded his head. It was well known that besides being Vegeta’s trainer, the large man also acted as his nanny of sorts; a second dad if you will. Vegeta, although he’d never admit it to his face, looked up to Nappa as more of a father than his actual dad.
“For as long as I can remember, he was always the way he is; spoiled and grumpy.”
You chuckled at his response. “That sounds about right. I can’t even imagine him as a kid.” You had been working by Vegeta’s side for six years now, and you were the first maid that stayed longer than five days without quitting or pleading insanity from his attitude.
Nappa’s stare blanked for a moment before a soft smile grew on the older man’s face. “Actually, before he went to work under Frieza, there was just a small bit of time where he was no different from any other saiyan child.”
“I can’t imagine what that was like for him,” you said, glancing again at the spikey haired prince, watching as he talked quietly to his father.
“He got over it quickly, not like he had a choice.” Nappa began to smile, staring off wistfully as he thought of the past. “He used to have bangs.”
You gasped. “No he did not!” You, of course, already knew this, having seen the prince on the television during his father’s speeches as a child. Yet, you didn’t want to disrupt the older saiyan’s happy memories.
“He used to act like a kid too, whining for toys and to go play outside. Of course he couldn’t just play anywhere, so he would climb the tree in the courtyard while I watched from the benches.”
You smiled as Nappa talked about the young prince with such admiration. When it came down to it, it was clear Nappa thought of Vegeta as his son as well. When he was in the middle of talking about how he’d carry the prince above his head and Vegeta would pretend he was a rocket, a tap on your shoulder made you jump slightly.
“Hey Y/N!” Kakarot smiled. “Mind if I steal a dance? I’ve been practicing!” He motioned over to Raditz, who was now mumbling curse words under his breath as he sat back down at the table and once again began to pile food into his mouth with reckless abandon.
“Oh, uh, sure! If Nappa doesn’t mind that is!” You replied, glancing up at the bald saiyan.
Nappa scrunched up his face for a second and glanced in the prince’s direction. “Uh… I guess for a bit wouldn’t hurt.”
“Don’t worry, we’ll be quick!” Kakarot smiled again. He was always so happy for a saiyan; sometimes you forgot he wasn’t just an off worlder. If it wasn’t for his tail, you wouldn’t believe he was the same species as you.
Nappa flawlessly switched his hands out with Kakarot’s as you placed your hand on his shoulder. He went over and started talking to Raditz as Kakarot spun you around quickly.
“Woah woah woah we gotta keep pace with everyone else!” You laughed as he spun you faster.
“This is more fun though!” He smiled. “They’re too slow!”
You laughed and agreed but made him slow down anyway. The two of you were getting glares from the suitors as you shared the dance floor with them, but for once you didn’t care. The king had been right; when would you ever get to do something like this again?
“Why did you want to dance?” You chuckled, staring up into his eyes. He seemed to be thinking about it a bit before he gave his response.
“I was bored!” You felt like a rock just got dropped on your head but you laughed anyway. He could be really stupid but his personality was refreshing. You began to fill in with the rest of the dancers, all of whom were now paired up with a male servant and dancing around the room, their brightly colored ball gowns that depicted their houses swirling together in a blur of rainbow colors. You and Kakarot were no different, even if your outfits were less grand and your colors belonged to the prince's royal guard. Vegeta thought he had only glanced away for a moment before he realized he couldn’t find Nappa’s tall, bald, satellite head circling the dance floor with you.
“Where the hell are they,” he grumbled, spotting Nappa at the table with Raditz. The two were caught up in an intense conversation, with you nowhere to be found.
“Looking for your entourage?” The king chuckled darkly. Vegeta just grunted and looked away from his father, resting his elbow on the chair's armrest and placing his chin in his hand.
“Hardly see why you would care.” He grunted.
“I quite like the two of them together. They seem close.” Vegeta rolled his eyes at his father’s words.
“Nappa is as old as you father, I hardly doubt anyone else thinks that.”
“Not him you oaf, the saiyan boy. What’s his name? I don’t recall it… Bardock’s son.” Vegeta’s head immediately whipped up as his onyx eyes scanned the dance floor only to find you waltzing around with none other than Kakarot. His loose grip on his chin changed to a tight grip on both armrests of the throne, the intricate gold designs cracking under his hands.
“How ideal. He’s a good fighter, isn’t he? I know she has proved herself to be one as well. Their offspring would benefit our armies an undeniable amount.”
“The hell are you talking about, old man?” Vegeta spat, his eyes never leaving the two of you.
“Watch your tone, boy,” the king frowned. Vegeta didn’t even notice, watching as you smiled up at Kakarot and the two of you held onto each other. It made him feel a pit of uneasiness in his stomach; he felt disgusted by it.
There was no way he was jealous. He was the prince of all saiyans damn it! He watched as you stumbled and Kakarot caught you, holding you closer and continuing to laugh. Okay, maybe he was jealous. Not of your affections or the fact that Kakarot was able to hold your soft hands and your curving waist, or that Kakarot got to stare down at you in that gorgeous, deep blue dress. Not that you were wearing his colors and looked as beautiful as ever in it. Not even because his father talked about you and Kakarot’s potential children like it was set in stone. No, of course not. He was jealous his damned rival got to waltz around the floor and he did not. At least, that’s what he told himself.
“Actually, I’ve thought about it before as well. With you finding a mate of your own soon, I’ve drafted a letter to the girl's parents, offering an arranged marriage of her and Bardock’s son.” Vegeta's right hand snapped off the top of the arm rest and he tossed it to the side as he stood up abruptly.
“Where the hell do you think you’re going?” His father growled. Vegeta took another step down the blue carpet and towards the dance floor.
Kakarot was spinning you so fast again to the point that you were seeing stars. “Kakarot I’m gonna throw up, stop it!” You laughed dizzily.
“Me too!” He chuckled, coming to a slow stop. “Alright I’ve had my fun, I need some water!” You let go of his hand and placed both on his shoulders as the two of you laughed in the middle of the dance floor.
“WOMAN!” The prince’s voice rang out, high above the music and the dancing of the crowd. Everyone immediately stopped dancing or talking and the band stopped playing abruptly, turning to look at the prince to see who he was calling out to. You were no different, and a feeling of uneasiness washed over your entire body. He called every female “woman,” but when your eyes met his you knew he was speaking to you.
“Move.” He spat at the crowd, and they parted out of his path. He looked furious, but the suitors didn’t seem to care. Some bowed to him as he walked past, others curtsied. A select few reached out to him but he shouldered his way past them. When he reached you and Kakarot, he stopped, reaching out a hand.
“You’re dancing with me now,” he spat.

Saiyans Headcanon (AU)
Even though saiyans didn’t have wedding ceremonies they did have a tradition that spurned from an event where a father not wanting to give up his daughter to a young man and he made a deal that if he fought him and won he’d have his permission to marry her. He agreed and won.
And so from that , prob just just to have any any excuse to fight, came a tradition to now a male seeing to take a mate had to fight the father for the daughter.
Saiyan would come and watch the fight as if it were a tournament and cheer and get excited diwtu the fighters and shout things like:
“You going to take that?”
“You must not really want this woman, huh? “
“Common you going to let someone take your daughter away so easily, What kind of father are you? “
All in good fun, all this is happening while the daughter watches from the side lines playing it cool not cheering either side, most women are good at it but a few slip up and cheer for their mates or react at a few hits.

I mean this in the absolute nicest way possible:
You cant forget instinct. Thats why theyre called instincts. Theyre INSTINCTUAL.
I feel like some people misinterpret gokus head injury as a child. He forgot he was a saiyan. He forgot his parents. But it didnt get rid of his natural "saiyan instincts."
Saiyans were ruthless because thats the path they ended up on. Take universe 6 saiyans. Theyre not planet brokers, but saviors.
Saiyans ARENT inherently evil. Goku didnt have issues as a baby because he was a saiyan... he was violent because he was on a new planet with nothing familiar. No parents. No brother. No home. Just a strange old man and things he didnt understand.
So he threw tantrums. Like any child would. And they seemed worse because he wasnt human.
You can lose instincts over time. But Goku didnt lose his saiyan abilities or instincts at all. Theyre still there. He lost his memories. It was his saiyan instincts that kept him alive when he was alone in the woods for all those years.
The saiyans believe theyre superior through years and years of fighting and brokering planets. If their original planet, sadala, hadnt blown up then maybe they would have ended up like the universe 6 saiyans, fighting to save rather than destroy.
But it did blow up. So they had to fight for another. And then king cold made everything THAT MUCH WORSE by basically enslaving the saiyans to work for him. And then later, frieza.
If saiyans were "evil" then vegeta would have no capacity for good at all. And Goku losing his memories wouldnt have mattered. But they arent. Not inherently anyway.
Dont get me wrong. Theyre ruthless and cunning and can be downright terrifying im sure. Thats all from their intense instinct for battle. Its what they do with that that makes them flawed and could have been different.

Ya'll, Vegeta needs his own movie.
We need to see how his life was on Planet Vegeta as a young prince, how his relationship with his father was, how his friendship with Raditz was. If he knew Bardock and if he respected him or not, if he liked Gine, and maybe if he even knew of Turles.
Then we need to see how his childhood was with Frieza, we need to see how he was treated and how he thought, how he dealt with the knowledge that his planet was gone once it finally settled in. How raditz handled it differently from the others.
Vegeta needs a movie, we just need a deeper understanding of how he felt and how his life was from a child to the time he met Goku.
Spread the word, we might be able to make this actually happen.
