#Pokemon Let's Go Eevee

pokemon let's go: eevee the ss.anne sets sail- now onto lt. surge!

red and blue is where my pokemon journey started and is my favourite game in the series, so i just had to try this game and so far i love it. what I like about this game is I think they well balanced nostalgia for older fans, but also made it a nice starting entry for new and young players who might have played pokemon GO and want to try out the mainseries.

older fans of kids' series quite often forget that the series is aimed at kids and that kids deserve to have things made new and fun for them in a way that'll interest them as well as looking back. nostalgia is amazing, but so is today's kids having fun with and getting into what made our childhoods so enjoyable and starting their own pokemon journey.

So I decided to play through the whole Pokémon series again, this time with a different type focus for each game. Gen 1 had a ludicrous amount of Poison types, so here's my Poison team (plus Eevee, since it is Let's Go Eevee).

Shiny Pokemon collection in main games updated.

The first time I shiny hunted in pokemon Let's Go, I comboed 41 Rattata on Route 1, and almost immediately, there was a shiny Metapod. Let me tell you, this gave me a dramatic overestimation of how easy it is to shiny hunt in this game.

in christmas of 2020, i started my let's go eevee save, but got distracted by sword and shield before i could do anything past the final gym.

today, i beat the elite four and became champion.

knowing this, the comments about how long it took for me to get to the elite four are infinitely funnier
