Okay, this thought has been percolating in my dome piece for the better part of the last decade....

Anyone who tries to conquer the Power Rangers Earth is an idiot. Like, full stop, yeah? More so than Marvel or D.C. or whatever, the Power Ranger Earth feels like a no-go zone for conquering.

Here's what I mean, say you are an evil empire, like just as a random name well call you America. After ten thousand years, it's time to conquer Earth. Bingo bongo a team of Power Rangers are picked by uhhhhh the concept of the ocean fuck it I dont know, to stop you. And guess what! You beat em! Joining the very short list of evil empires to actual beat the Power Rangers! Congratulations, the Earth is yours...

Or it would be if it wasn't fir the Ninja Academies. Yeah the secret schools deep on the mountains where Earth's protectors are trained, still gotta deal with the Ninja Academies... oh and the Order of the Claw. Those magic furry martial artists who can summon Zords by punching good? Them to.

OH, and the mages of Root Core and the Brier Wood Forest, all those fae and elves and shit... and the Shiba Clan! Speaking of ancient magical orders, you gotta deal with the Samurai too...

Not to mention, if your plan for world domination isn't predicated on saving the whales, the Animerium and Gosei will be on your ass. Like the Animerium didn't leave, it's still floating un there. New WildForce Rangers can and will be chosen to kick your ass.

Oh right there's so many other still active teams of rangers. Not every team gives up their powers at the end of their show. The Space Rangers, Aquatar Rangers, Lightspeed Rescue, Mystic Force, Operation Overdrive, Jungle Fury, Samurai, MegaForce (Good fucken luck with mega force by the way), Ninja Steel, Grid Battle Force, Dino Fury, Time Force.... Oh fuck right Time Force!

You gotta ALSO deal with Time Force which, if shit gets real dire, will come.from the future, the one that you clearly lost in, and clap your cheeks with tech from 1000 years in the future.... and depending on WHEN you do this SPD is also just like, cops, they're just cops with big space guns.

OH and if THAT dosnt work and you manage to deal with ALL of that there's still the alternate dimension Rangers like Dino Charge and RPM that can be called in at a moments notice if need be, just got em on speed dial.

Once again, the creative teams at Boom really do some amazing stuff with the Power Rangers mythos and I know I'll probably continue to say that until I find one I don't like. I wish I had re-watched In Space before hand to refresh on Ecliptor's mannerisms, but I do remember him being like the honorable villain that was super faithful to Astronema. Seeing her dealing with years of her ass getting kicked and being the outcast of her child soldiers group was kind of meat because it felt like it reflected on her transition to Rangerhood years down the line.

Getting her full backstory was really fulfilling and it makes me wonder if her adoption by Dark Spector's empire is based solely on anti-Zordon propaganda or if there is another evil team of Rangers running around the universe.

FAVORITE: Seeing more Sentai-only teams getting wrapped into Ranger lore. I know the "Prism Rangers" made appearances throughout Super Mega Force, but it's cool to see that Boom decided to keep them around. Admittedly, we just see them getting dunked on but it's still a nice include.

LEAST FAVORITE: So many pages are just SO CROWDED with speech bubbles that it's really confusing on the eyes

Mystic Force HeadCannons after the series ended, or headcannons for them what they are doing during the mega force time period? …hopefully that makes sense… basically adult mystic force headcannons like careers, families..ect

-He becomes a teacher in the magic realm. He teach people and magical being about magic and also little kids who want to knights. He does eventually write a magic book about being a ranger. He might want kids but I think he rather focus on teaching his students first. If I was in charge of Megaforce, I would have him return. He would have shown the mega force team magic and to believe in themselves. Also he spends some time also trying to connect to new ranger teams he find.

Vida

-Vida joins a music company where she does music tours. Like if someone calls the company up, she’s the DJ in a party. It’s not a huge music well known company but she does really enjoy it and pays decent. She gets to travel the US (and occasionally other parts of the world) and shows her music. Probably no kids. She doesn’t really want to be a parent

Madison

-Editor for video productions. A more well known company and she gets paid pretty well. She does like teaching the magical creatures about human technology. Probably the only one to settle down and have a family. She does wait for Nick (I Don’t really ship her with Nick but if we’re following canon) and they do get married. Have a son who has both her water power and nick’s fire power

Xander

-he is the manger of Rock Porium. Toby pays him handsomely and Xander does a decent job. Slowly he takes more responsibility until Toby decides to retire and Xander takes over. He’s usually the one that the magic creatures go to if they need help with anything human related. Maybe has kids but he also just likes chilling at Rock Porium and enjoying the people coming in and out

Nick

-he spent a year traveling with his biological parents. Learned and bonded with them after that crazy year as a mystic ranger. A long time since he actually enjoyed traveling. He comes back to Briarwood and Udonna and Leanbow go back to Rootcore while he goes to see Maddie. Takes up a job repairing cars and motercyle. He likes his magic side but he tends to prefer his human side more since the magic creature are pushy with him being the light. When he has his son, he ditches the Light Title immediately because he doesn’t want pressure on his kid. Tries his best to teach him about his magic skill

Daggeron

-becomes a teacher too. He loves passing down his knowledge as a ranger and teacher to these new generation. Leanbow helps him out

Alright so apparently the next season of Overwatch is a power rangers themed season? Kind of reminiscent of how the Starwatch season was a Starwars themed season.

....I didn't even theorize that this would happen?? I just saw some funky fan skins and thought "huh let's make an AU out of this!"

Which one of you fucks works for for Blizzard?? This has happened to many times to be a coincidence!!

Here we have Iota Squad all together and ready for action. One of hero factories many search and rescue teams. Though, this team in particular is usually assigned to more hazardous conditions than usual. They're more than capable than handling themselves alone but when together, as with all teams, they can achieve great things. Listing them off from left to right (In the group photo):

Heinrich Phase: A brash and boastful rookie always looking to prove himself to his team's lead, Pixie. He feels that the Hero Factory could be doing more with it's influence and power. Heinrich made a name for himself while using the experimental short range phase generator mounted on his upper back. This device allows him to "teleport" or blink a short distance, leaving an after image in his path. Depending on the mission at hand you'll either see him with his High Frequency Dual Claws, able to cut through even the densest of metals and rock. They come quite in handy for clearing debris and clearing paths to rescue targets or ripping the armor off of foes. Or his Dual Concussive Photon Repeaters, usually mounted on the side of a Mach Bike, he took the opportunity from a wrecked one to see if he could put them to use himself. They have a lot of kick… unsurprisingly.

Gretchen Ranger: An overprotective, unyielding, near-unstoppable force of a hero. Not afraid to speak her mind, she tends to butt heads with the team lead at times. Even so, they're the closest of the four. Despite her predisposition, she willingly chose the role of tracker of the team. Ranger's armor and equipment are reminiscent of a badger. She comes equipped with similar strength augmenting tech implanted in Duncan Bulk with optimized actuators in her hands for more grip strength, allowing her to crush even stone in her claws. She can scale sheer vertical surfaces with ease as well. Her tool of choice is a modified version of the M.D.S.B (Mega Decibel Sound Blaster). Referred to as, lovingly, the "Search Light". Instead of sending out masses of explosive sound, it acts as an advance echo-locator. Though, the output can be turned up higher for sustained and devastating firepower should the need arise.

Clara Pixie: Team lead, voice of reason, and a great shot. Pixie, despite being the shortest in the team, is the most capable fighter out of all of them. She traded in the standard plasma gun issued to all heroes for a condensed combustion hand cannon. The design of the handgun is very much "lightning trapped in a bottle". However, that is a topic for another time. Pixie while not leading the team, is often participating in Hero Factory's rehabilitation program. In which a select few potential ex-villains are given a second chance. In the form of being assigned to a city and being charged with protecting and helping the inhabitants in anyway they can. Of course, under the close supervision of an assigned handler. Pixie, being part of this program, has been assigned with being Corroder's handler. The two have grown quite close as time passed. Even bringing him along on missions with the rest of the squad every now and again. The two would be near inseparable if it weren't for responsibilities that need most of their attention.

Andrew "Andy" Bolt": Quiet, patient, disciplined, Andrew Bolt is one of the best scouts Hero Factory has had in years. It's rumored that he could've been on the fabled H.R.T (Hero Recon Team) at one point or another. His actions, speak much louder than words in most cases. Not much is really known fully about him aside from him being a veteran hero and his blinding speed. He is equipped with an energy condenser mounted to his quaza core that passively absorbs any ambient electricity in the air. Giving him a constant flow of energy to power his tools/weapons. Speaking of, Bolt's equipped with Dual Stun blasters that have an extended function, when drawing directly from his energy condenser, to create nets of energy capable of neutralizing weapons and powers similar to the hero cuffs used during the breakout event. His pride and joy comes in the form of the Mach Saber. in it's normal state it functions just like any other sword made by hero factory. But, when drawing power directly from his energy condenser, it's high frequency function activates, allowing him to cut through even the strongest alloys. Bolt is also capable of diverting extra power to his legs for short bursts of speed or a constant, blinding sprint. Doing so charges the condenser further. If not released he could overheat himself. After long sprints Bolt requires venting almost immediately.

This was a really long one but, I really needed to get this one done since I've been sitting on the idea of this team for a while now. I figured now would be as good as any since it is Hero February and all. Hope you like them as much as I do. Enjoy!

Happy 30th Anniversary, Power Rangers!

It's another special day! Happy 30th Anniversary, Power Rangers!!! I was exactly the right age to become obsessed with my first real exposure to tokusatsu.

MMPR is a huge turning point in my hobbies and interests, pushing me to pursue films, shows, content, and games to voraciously enjoy. Naturally, it got me into Super Sentai and other adjacent shows like Kamen Rider as well.

I was there at the beginning, karate chopping my younger brother in the neck because a man dressed in dinosaur-themed spandex was kicking ass on our TV.

Whether it's the highs of the mid-Disney era, or the lowest lowest of Super Mega Force...I have a fondness for the Power Rangers' franchise and its earnestness. The crew and the teams are all trying their hardest to make colorful explosions to entertain us all.

Meeting David Yost at NYCC meant so much to me, he listened to me ramble about how important his role as Billy was, how helpful it was to see a group of friends that included the shy, less confident kid. He was such a class act, as I'm sure he's heard that a trillion times. I'm so happy he's back in the franchise!

Random Thoughts With Me 2: Electric Boogaloo

Without school, I just sit here waiting for a response from the "I DEMAND AND NEED ANSWERS RIGHT NOW" post and do near nothing with the rest of the "httyd class as pokemon types" posts.

I had know idea what I was doing trying to redesign the Violet paradoxes besides Moth, Treads, and Thorns.

Serial Designation-B(adger) Quotes: "If I so much as breath on an organism, in Copper-9, it will end with a critical hit with enough power to overthrow a small government." "This worker drones are dumber than I am, and just a reminder, I have SUB-BRICK INTELLIGENCE." (They are literally going to die from their own stupidity, no Disassembly Drones required)

We know that Cyn's "Absolute Solver" form was animated like Glados, but is there a correlation. Glados hates birds because she was attacked by a crow. In episode 4, Uzi takes the form of a crow to help take Cyn down. Coincidence? I think maybe.

Speaking of Cyn, I have connected dots that shouldn't be there. Cyn's speaking pattern is similar to Dr. Letzshake's from No More Heros. They are both death machines who say their expressions out loud with monotones. Here is an example. *Letzshake just destroyed an untold amount of adversaries in one shot* "Visual sensors suggest carnage levels satisfactory. Who is my next victim. Question mark." *Player character appears* "Surprised gasp."

As a wee lad, I thought there was a connection between Blast Zone and the Gear Golems, especially Fire Gear Golem. I can't be the only one. They are both floating pieces of humanoid armor with their elements flowing though them and has masculine voices. They were also introduced in the same game.

Also as a wee lad, I had a red toy motorcycle that I loved. It looked like a dinosaur or dragon and it had a gun in its mouth, so I imagined it transforming like a transformer. More recently, I thought it was lost media, since I didn't see it anywhere else and the springs where the batteries go were missing, so I had no idea what it sounded like. A few days ago, I learned it was a motorcycle toy from Power Rangers: Dino Thunder. I don't blame myself for not knowing. I grew up on Samurai, Mega Force, Super Mega Force, Dino Charge, and Super Sentai Go-onger.
