On May 6, 2024, our Interact Club organized a workshop on paper recycling titled "Har Haath Kitaab." The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the effective utilisation of used paper and the importance of recycling.

Conducted by Mr. Pulak Aggarwal: The CEO of Inch Paper Pvt. Limited, Mr. Aggarwal, shared his expertise on the recycling process. Absolutely love Prisha and the fact that you made her last name Kaur. As someone with the same last name, I hope you don't mind if I explain some of the culture behind it considering it was recommended by a friend.

Basically, Kaur is a last name that originates from one of India's northern most states called Punjab. The religion most deeply tied to Punjab is Sikhism, which has a long history of warriors. As a symbol of that strength and of unity, most males under this religion have the last name 'Singh', which means 'lion'. To create a sense of equality, many women under this religion do not adopt their husbands last name. Instead, they use the last name 'Kaur', which has multiple translations but generally equates to 'Queen'.

I love looking into Sikhism history, because when you think of medieval Sikh warriors, it is never only men. The number of badass female warriors that appear in its history is great, and the religious scriptures themselves emphasise the capability of women. So you casting her last name as Kaur both means a lot to me, but also makes me even more in love with her.

I hope you don't mind the rant, and I'd like to end this by saying I am not an expert in the history or technicalities of the religion. I have only repeated what I have heard growing up in a Sikh family. If there is something that is incorrect here, I apologise.
