The Freddy in the game isn't our Freddy

Protype Freddy,which is what I shall call Ruin Freddy,looks like Freddy after the Vanny endings,but there are some differences I noticed from our Freddy.

Protype Feddy has "protype" on his foot,which our Freddy never did.

His present box is not only still in his chest,which odd given Gregory opened it and would've needed to throw it out so he can fit,but it's also a different color. Protype Freddy has a green present while our Freddy had an orange present

But on the flip side,I also have a theory Protype Freddy is our Freddy,but not from the Vanny ending. Because stuff like "protype" could have simply been added for the sake of whatever plot,like Madagascar 2 giving Alex his little paw birthmark,and the box color simply being from forgetting what color they used (tho still odd it went from Freddy orange to Monty green 🤔),but maybe he got left behind,possibly from sacrificing himself to get Gregory out when the Pizza Plex collapsed,and got beaten up by the other three animatronics or whoever afterwards.

I say this because why is Chica's voice box still there in Ruin? In the good Vanny ending,Freddy is still able to talk,meaning he would still have a voice box.

I personally prefer Protype Freddy not being our Freddy simply cause FazDad deserves a happy ending,but Protype Freddy seems to have Monty's claws. Though I'm not sure what our Freddy would be a protype of besides just a new model they happened to roll out right before the events of SB,which would be kinda odd with the Gltichtrap virus unless it spreads fast as hell to this new protype Freddy,unless the casing was a protype for a new look which also doesn't make sense given Freddy's art is everywhere. Also the idea that our Freddy is just rotting under some rubble somewhere while his body is a monster makes me very sad.

I'd would also like to add that when we put the mask on,Protype Freddy just doesn't exist,but i'm not sure if that leans into Protype Freddy not being our Freddy or if it leans into that is our Freddy,but something about his head being missing makes his body just not exist in AR.

I kinda want,,,funtime freddy headcanons. I absolutely adore this funky bear and it feels like he doesnt get the attention the other main 3 SL animatronics got. He deserves love!!!

Bon-Bon was intended to be an additional add-on that you pay extra for, but they let FT Freddy keep him full time because he’s the only thing that calms him down

Second most dangerous FT animatronic next to Baby (arguably more dangerous just because of how erratic he can be)

he’s not supposed to scream all the time he just kind of does

has yet to kill a kid, but that’s mostly because most kids are too scared to be near him

The Fourth Closet Liveblog: Chapters 13-16

Chapter 13

hmm, mangle? a torn apart FT Foxy? Whatever’s in the fourth closet?

hey hey, it is mangle! though it’s probably an AU mangle - SL FT Foxy looks a lot different than un-Mangle.

mangle is a lot creepier in description than in canon. like I never felt creeped out by the one in-game, but this one’s legit unnerving

ballora should show up soon, she’s the only one unaccounted for rn

let’s eat on the door is for chica. wonder if spring or FT chica will actually show up, that would be neat

hehe, the Bite of ‘96 (I think? what year is it now in the books anyway)

my bad, actual FT Foxy is a separate animatronic, so the other one was still toy FT Foxy. too bad, an AU Mangle made from SL FT Foxy would’ve been really cool

though then again this mangle is already a little different than the canon one (more limbs, bow conjoining the two heads instead of just being under the one), probs because it was built by william and is in a different location

though I’m confused as to why William would’ve built two FT Foxys to begin with. maybe Mangle was a protype or something?

okay no I was wrong. narration’s a bit confusing, but FT Foxy is indeed Mangle, and it was just pretending to look normal on the stage (afton might’ve actually built it that way intentionally). sweet

bizarrely enough FT Freddy has yellow eyes here, but they’re blue in canon. what is up with the TSE-verse and not having character’s eyes be the same color

Chapter 14

he’s probably got more than a few broken ribs, but he’ll probably be okay

elizabeth really is the jealous type. poor girl probably never got any attention from william

yeah, pretty sure Charlie’s a robot. not sure how that makes any damn sense, but it at least lines up with canon - Charlie is dead, and the Bitten Child/Sammy is alive and well (doubly so seeing as the bite doesn’t seem to have happened in this AU).

so the endo with the silver eyes... was... baby? what? I mean, I guess she could have silver eyes, but in the first book Charlie literally had a dream asking the “does it hurt” question to Foxy because he was the endo. and shouldn’t her eyes be green because she’s possessed by Elizabeth? huh?

also, wasn’t baby built by william? that was literally the entire point? Elizabeth even says he spent all of his time on her? Maybe Henry built the base endo and William picked it up like he said he did with the forth closet endo? or is she the forth closet endo?

charlie being a robot still makes no damn sense btw. she literally ate in TSE if I recall

okay, the tripod thing was foreshadowed in TSE, but... how the fuck do you “look down” in a memory if your memory was recorded by a tripod? that’s now how tripods work??

okay, so if I’m understanding this correctly, Henry though the ragdoll was Charlie, so he put it into each body. Ella is Charlie as a kid. The closets contained each Charlie, so the middle one had her older form and the last one contained her current body. The “fourth closet” had Baby, which was meant to be Charlie’s adult body, but it was possessed by Elizabeth before that happened.

but what’s so confusing (okay there are a lot of confusing things but) is that Baby... looks like a child? she’s tall, but she’s literally made to look like a baby. unless that’s not the case in this AU, but if so that was definitely never established?

HOW THE FUCK DOES AN ANIMATRONIC PASS OUT. THIS MAKES NO SENSE

it feels like Molten Freddy’s name should make more sense now, but they’re not actually fused by heat in FFPS, so... it doesn’t

Chapter 15

neither Michael nor the Older Brother show up, but that makes sense - it’s why the Bite never happens in this AU. And Michael and the brother work as parallels (like Henry to William, Elizabeth to Charlie and Sammy), so it makes sense neither of them would be here.

Chapter 15

oh what do you know, carlton’s okay, that’s good. or not. but I think he’s fine - he’s not a hollowed-out corpse so he’s not suffering or anything and should be able to live a normal life (like william if william wasn’t... william). and he can always throw himself in a fire if he’s tired of living

hey give me some points, at least I called that the tombstone at the end was indeed Charlie’s and not Sammy’s

Henry’s family’s last name is... Emily? Is that even a last name?

okay google says it is, but it still sounds fake as fuck. “Henry Emily” sounds like a fake name you’d give at a bar when you’re trying to pretend you’re old enough to get in. then again, at least he has a last name, can’t complain too much (looking at you BATIM henry)

heh, her death date is 1983. that makes sense if the room in 4 is hers - she just died earlier that year, so Henry hasn’t cleaned it out yet.

Random theory note: This book helps support the idea that the house from 4 is Henry’s. Charlie was kidnapped and killed, not Sammy - the kidnapping is even referenced in Toy Chica’s High School days. If Sammy wasn’t kidnapped and Henry is still alive in FFPS, that means he should still be living in his own house - which would be the minigame area.

In conclusion: I... think I liked it?

Overall, it’s well written, and it felt more solid than TTO. But the weird-ass plot twist will make you burst into flames if you spend more than two minutes thinking about it, which kind of ruins things. But I still enjoyed it, so if you’re interested I recommend picking it up. Just... don’t think about it too hard.

I’m confused on how the earpiece works. wasn’t the idea that Charlie’s heads were blind, and the earpiece works as a sensor? Elizabeth has literal vision, how does she not see him on her cameras (or whatever they use for eyesight)?

I couldn’t remember the line John said to Charlie either. that’s because it was incredibly bland. surprised Baby wasn’t able to just guess it

John says he’d say he loves Marla, Carlton, or Jessica, then adds maybe not Jessica. he never says anything about Carlton. John is bi confirmed

Chapter 10

Interesting that Baby was able to take these kids alive but killed Elizabeth. Then again it’s not exactly the safest way of kidnapping kids, so she probably just was turned the wrong way and got crushed. poor kid

Chapter 11

it sounds crazy, but I’m wondering if Charlie is some type of robot as well. it makes no fucking sense, but it at least explains the fake blood (seriously, what is up with that)

as much as I hate this theory, it also explains the larger Ellas - protypes for Charlie’s bodies, one in each closet

“I’m going to be with my daughter” - considering this is Henry’s suicide note, either the actual Charlie was killed or Charlie and Sammy were indeed switched. either way, that proves that Charlie isn’t Charlie (so we’re... right back to where we started)

Chapter 12

“it’s legal as long as you don’t use it to pick locks. now be quiet while I pick this lock” once again Carlton has the best dialogue in the entire book series
