Psalm 110:1 At God's Right Hand
The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” Psalm 110:1 The right hand of a person is usually seen as one of authority and power. It is often a privileged position that not everyone is allowed to have. Whoever has that position has the authority of the person on one’s left. People desire to have that position in order to be at the top of the chain…

Revelation: The Lion is a Lamb
For prophets, visions tend to be highly symbolic, with imagery that arouses heightened passions as well as points to an absolute reality. In a sense, visions are both a veil, and a veil being removed. #Revelation5 #LionisaLamb #SevenEyes #SevenHorns
Symbology For prophets, visions tend to be highly symbolic, with imagery that arouses heightened passions as well as points to an absolute reality. In a sense, visions are both a veil, and a veil being removed. A veil, because what is seen only represents, or indicates, the true reality. But also a removal of the veil, for once the symbology has been deciphered, what is revealed displays a…

Christ is King. Adam was also king, but he failed to exercise dominion over the serpent. Jesus has conquered the serpent, and all authority on Heaven and on Earth has been given to Him. He is enthroned at the right hand of the Father and will reign until His last enemy, death, is subdued.

The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. - Psalms 110:1-4
Oh, my Lord Jesus, how terrible it is that the prince of this world shall dwell in man and hold him captive through sin! I thank Thee from the depths of my heart that Thou hast made me meet to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light; that Thou hast delivered me out of the power of darkness and translated me into Thy Kingdom, by which I am saved and redeemed through Thy blood, and by which Thou hast entered into a new covenant with me. O Lord, grant that I may always remain steadfast therein and never lose Thy grace. Gather ever more souls into Thy Kingdom. Write us as Thy citizens in the book of Thy celestial city, yea, in Thy hands. Sustain us that we may remain forever in Thy Kingdom, who in baptism have had our names written in Thy book, entered into covenant and compact with Thee and promised Thee faithfulness.
O come. Thou King of grace, into my heart and quiet all unrest there. Fill my life with Thy grace that Thou mayest in heaven fill me with Thy eternal glory. Give unto Thy people power, strength and victory over all their spiritual and temporal enemies and make us partakers of the glory of Thy Kingdom, when Thou comest in Thy great power and glory, and all the holy angels with Thee. Fulfill then even on us these Thy joyful words, ’’Father, I will that they also, whom Thou hast given me, be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory," and. ’’Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. "
Let me be Thine forever. Thou faithful God and Lord, May I forsake Thee never.
Nor wander from Thy word; Keep me from error’s mazes.
Lord, give me constancy, And I will sing Thy praises Through all eternity.

1 (A Psalm of David.) The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

I was thinking about something. There's a lot of symbolism around Rhea and the idea of purity/purification.
In the Bible, snow is symbolic of purity and cleanliness. "Wash me and I shall be whiter than snow" (Psalms 51:7). "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow" (Isaiah 1:18). Winter is also tied to the concept of purification in Shinto belief.
Rhea is associated with snow through two of her attacks, hoarfrost and aurora breath. While we usually think about aurora as in the northern lights, the word itself means dawn which ties into how Houses uses light in association with Rhea. Rhea gets hurt, it's depicted as dusk whereas she dies in night. Her achieving some form of salvation in Silver Snow's ending happens at dawn, and in the case of her survival it would tie into the rebirth meaning of the lillies flying around in that final cutscene. In the Bible, the dawn is used to symbolize the start of a new age or the reign of a new king (Byleth becoming Fodlan's monarch post-Silver Snow) via Psalm 110:3. So even if Rhea dies in Silver Snow, it's the start of a new era for Fodlan.
The white lily also symbolizes purity alongside rebirth. But going back to the idea of cleanliness, Rhea's draconic title is The White One in Japanese, or the Immaculate One. Immaculate can mean clean and tidy, but it can also mean free from flaws or mistakes, or in a Christian view sinless. In Japan, white is considered the sacred color of the gods and represents physical or spiritual purity.
Now, silver also has a meaning. Silver is seen as a color representing protection, and can also be used to disinfect water in an emergency as it prevents the growth of bacteria. The Immaculate One is said to have been Fodlan's protector.
There's a lot of symbolism around Rhea and the idea of purity/purification.
Meanwhile Edelgard is associated with corruption (Devil arcana represented by Amyr's Crest Stone), demons (demonic beasts being war assets, her final form), darkness (her winning leads to the ending without sunlight), attraction (Safflower), and black is seen as an evil color in Japanese culture. Her path is both the path of thorns (scene where the BE's pledge themselves to Edelgard) as well as the path of the beast (Dimitri's battle dialogue against Byleth in Japan), meaning it's a sinful route in both a Christian and Buddhist sense. In the Bible, darkness symbolizes everything that is anti-god, which syncs with how the asuras, the inhabitants of Agartha in Buddhism, are sometimes translated as anti-gods in a Buddhist contexts.
The darkness of Flower's ending shows how in this war for Fodlan's soul, the Agarthans have ultimately won through Edelgard, their greatest creation.

DAILY MEDITATIONS AND AFFIRMATIONS - May 8, 2024
"Samuel was afraid to tell Eli the vision." - 1 Samuel 3:15
Be slow to ask another person's advice about anything God says to you. If you ask advice, you will almost always side with Satan if it is a matter you must decide on. "I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood." -- Galatians 1:16 Get into the habit of saying, "Speak, Lord," and life will become an adventure in excitement (1 Samuel 3:9). Every time circumstances press in on you, say "Speak,Lord," and make time to listen. As we listen our ears become more sensitive, and like Jesus, will hear God all the time.
"Rule in the midst of your enemies" - Psalm 110:2 The Lord has provided us with powerful tools to accomplish our assignment and legislate the heavens with the ability to call forth what is not as though it were. He has given us the power of the Blood, the power of His name, the power of His Word, the power of decree, the power of the Holy Spirit to bring it to pass, and angel armies assigned to God's Kingdom purposes! He has given us everything needed to rule and reign, to take and to hold ground!
Your best days are upon you and it's a time to embrace your divine destiny. God is good and He is faithful! Wake up and be successful in fulfilling all He has planned for you and your Christ calling! This is the hour of the fulfillment of His promises of glory and light! "Arise and shine" for your light has come!
AFFIRMATIONS:
The Holy Spirit who lives within me is greater than the spirit that is at work in the world (1 John 4:4).
I am created for victory.
Rather than just being content to sit and hear, I become an activator of the Word.
I walk worthy of the Lord - I am fruitful, and I increase in the knowledge and wisdom of the Lord. (Colossians 1:9-12)

Matthew 1:1
"This is the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham"
Abraham was the Father of The Jewish Nation, the first man of the Torah because he entered into the covenant of circumcision with God. Essentially, he was the first Monotheist.
David was a direct descendant of Abraham. David was King of Israel and was anointed with The Holy Spirit which lead him to compose many of the Psalms some of which are prophecies about Jesus Christ. Read Psalms 22, 69, 110, & 16.
The Messiah was a special figure to the Jewish people, believed to be anointed by God to bring redemption. The author of this Gospel asserts that Jesus is the Messiah and begins his account with a bloodline lineage.
It is common for Jews to keep records of their patrilineal descent and according to bible prophecy the Messiah had to come from the Davidic lineage.

About the bible Part 2(a)
Why should I read the bible?
When Christians read the Bible, we assume that it is the authoritative Word of God by which God can speak to the bible readers. In other words we have assumed that God inspired the writers who recorded the 66 books of the Bible. On this basis most of what has been taught so far in our first study has been full of scripture. Last time we saw that the Bible is self-consistent giving one overall message throughout its 66 books. Secondly, we defined what most fundamentalist Christians believe about the Bible, which is that we believe in the verbal, plenary, infallible, inerrant inspiration of the Bible in its original texts.
However in this study we are going to perform a U- turn and instead of looking out from the Bible we are going to focus in on the Bible itself. Whenever we meet someone who thinks the Bible is merely an ancient book then we need to know how to present our evidence that the Bible is much more than that!
In this study and the next we hope to give answers to the following two questions.
1. Is there any internal evidence in the Bible that it is the Word of God? We will then consider some of the science in the scripture that was known to the writer ahead of any scientific discovery.
2. How did God give the bible to us? How did God give the scriptures to the human writers such as Moses, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Paul etc?
Turning to our first question, what evidence is there that the Bible is not just an ordinary book just like any other ancient book?
There are two standards of evidence required to convince people that the Bible is a communication from God and indeed the very Word of God. The first standard of evidence (internal evidence) should be enough to convince a believer. The second standard of evidence (external evidence) is that needed to convince an unbeliever.
Internal evidence: in Mark 12 Jesus acknowledges a human author but goes on to say there was a divine author working through the human author.
Mark 12:26 And as touching the dead, that they rise: have you not read in the book of Moses (Exodus), how in the bush God spoke to him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: you therefore do greatly err.
Jesus quotes Moses as the author of the scripture in Exodus but indicates here that it was God who was speaking through Moses.
Jesus (quoting from Psalm 110) said in Mark 12: 36 For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The Lord said to my Lord, sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.
Notice that although Psalm 110 was written by David it was inspired by the Holy Spirit.
Paul in Acts 28:25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spoke the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers, quoting Isaiah 28:25.
Paul indicates that although Isaiah wrote the passage in Isaiah 28 that it was God the Holy Spirit who spoke the words through the prophet Isaiah.
There are many other examples in the both testaments where a human author is inspired by the Holy Spirit e.g.
Hebrews 2:11-13 and Psalm 22:2, and Isaiah 8:18
God spoke through the ancient writers, so the scriptures were penned by the human authors as they were inspired by the Holy Spirit.
As believers, we believe this internal evidence of the scripture is informing other scriptures. However if we present this evidence to an unbeliever, they will probably say that all the major religions have a holy book, and all believe that their God gave them their holy book. So what is so special about the bible?
In our next study ‘Why should I read the Bible part 2b, we will see that the Bible contains many statements given thousands of years ago that have only recently been verified by modern science.
Amen

Trust in the Name of the Lord Our God
1 The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.
6 Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
