(Chapter 10 of Bloodied Snow is going to take a bit due to being swamped with shifts and the next semester imminently about to start. In the meantime have this mild tangental Arknights post).

I've successfully created the first rarepair with NO content;

Qanipalaat X Aak

It just doesn't exist. I think they'd have a fantastic dynamic, though. The foundation is strong; Qanipalaat's motive to join Rhodes Island is the pursuit of better medical care to send to his homeland for the community and his sickly mom, and Aak is like, **THE** genius medical prodigy boy who makes it look easy by how laid-back he acts.

It stands to reason Qanipalaat would get word of Aak's prowess and pay his office in the base a visit; thing's'd kick off from there. This is a good setup.

Yet everybody overlooks Qanipalaat so goddamn hard. He's never discussed. Ever. So this ship, to my knowledge, doesn't EXIST.

Love both these boys sm that they were the first two that I got to Elite 2.

Please, god, let this ship exist.

Qanipalaat’s bio mentions that he came to Rhodes Island because of Magallan, so now that we know IS4 is dropping alongside a Sami event starring Magallan I wonder if he’s also gonna be part of it?

Side note, reading through his bio it’s very clear he wasn’t initially going to be released in the cert store because so much of his bio reads like you’re supposed to already be familiar with whatever is going with him

anyways, i think it's interesting that he has sami lines; i'm unsure which sami it is, i used helsinki university's translator which suggests it's either northen sami, southern sami, inari sami, lule sami or skolt sami.

The Karlan Contract - Chapter 1: Person for the Job

Welp, I managed to finish up and refine the first chapter of my Courier X Qanipalaat Arknights fic, with an hour to spare before my late retail shift tonight. Due to this semester's uniquely heavy workload, alongside work, I'm pretty strapped for time and energy- progress will be somewhat inconsistent and untimely, but it will be continuous, because my mind is brimming with ideas and passion for this story I've begun. I hope whoever decides to give it a read enjoys! Any and all bits of support mean the world to me.
