My current employer has dropped Sweet n Low from its roster of artificial sweetness. To be sure Sweet n Low isn’t exactly “Sweet n Low” as generic Sweet Time offerings are employed in an effort to stem ever rising COGS. When a guest orders tea, and my employer sells precious little coffee, 4 packets of sugar, 4 packs of Sweet n Low, 4 packets of Equal, 4 packs of Splenda and 4 packs of Stevia…

I have a question about the jp server pickups, since I really want knight Sebek, but I’m trying to save gems for bloom malleus + the 3rd tsum event that’s gonna show up sooner or later. Iirc, after knight Sebek, the next story update’s pickup had all of the previous story cards (ie cerberus Ortho, general Lilia, and knight Sebek). Is this true, and if it is, did it include a token system like the dorm pickups where you can just do 100 pulls and then buy the specific card you want directly? Because if that is how it works, then I can wait until then and be sure I won’t have to go to 200 for him.

we did indeed get a second chance at those three when 7-7 came out! I'm pretty sure there was not a token system -- though admittedly I don't 100% remember, sorry! 🙇 I took a quick search through some past posts/videos from people who tend to include the gacha and news stuff, but I didn't see any mention of it, so I'm inclined to think there really wasn't one. :( they were all separate pickups with their own pull counts rather than a combined one, if that info helps at all.

speaking as a strict f2p who hoards keys/gems like the lovechild of a dragon and a magpie, given the choice between saving for a story card and a birthday card, I'd go for story -- it does require a lot of patience, but there are way more opportunities to get past birthday cards, both from the anniversary events and the rerun pickups! tsums is a bit harder to say anything on because Eng doesn't follow the same event schedule, but it's a longish event and those pickups let you have a free 10-roll, so I think they're also a bit easier to save up for.

(ALSO speaking of free rolls, starting with the fifth round of birthdays -- the kutsurogi my room ones -- the birthday boy/union jacket/bloom cards have had a separate pickup that you can get two free 10-pulls at by doing missions! I got a bloom Jade from it a couple weeks ago. :D meanwhile general Lilia is the only story card I've ever managed to pull, so...I'm probably kinda biased. whoops.)

every day I see trekkies telling people that they shouldn't begin star trek with tos because it's too old and boring (p+ ig post) or that you have to go in expecting that not all episodes are gonna be good (tumblr) or that new audiences can't start with anything other than tng to get hooked because they get scared otherwise (p+ snw ig post) or that "be patient with tos because it gets better in other series" (my cousin)

I watched tos for the first time complete last year, all I had known of it was my parents being nerds about it, I didn't have nostalgia for it, and it's one of the best things I've ever seen, I actually think if I had started there, I would have been hooked sooner

I don't know what to tell you, maybe if you can't stand men in heavy eyeshadow, dogs in little costumes, glitter fabric aliens and mafia aus you're not the intended audience, but leave me out of it, I eat that shit up with a spoon and ask for seconds

was thinking about camp camp (woah really??) and the theme song and I started wondering how many of the activities in the fast part of the song I've actually done, so naturally I had to find the answer to that question in bingo sheet format:

you'll probably notice some of them are missing (Spaceships, Bomb Defusal, No Refusal, and Keeping up with Rhyming), and that's because I needed it to fit into a 5x5 grid. so I figured I'd axe those four because spaceships and bomb defusal are pretty unlikely, no refusal is really vague, and keeping up with rhyming is so broad and universal that it wasn't even really a question worth asking. if you actually have defused a bomb or been in a spaceship before and I've robbed you of a rare opportunity to humble brag about it, that's your own fault entirely for being too cool and interesting.

anyways, here's what I got. the answer to my original question is apparently that I've done about half of the activities listed in the fast part of the camp camp theme song.

Idk if he keeps any contact with Will though. Cause I never thought he actually did any Protector stuff in awhile?? Maybe he was just in the area but idk hdfd

But, he just doesn't seem to be as close to any demigods as Grover and Couch Hedge. The cloven counsel in general always felt separate from over satyrs in duties.

But if he did keep in touch with Will, I'm just imagine how awkward it is to have your old protector have a gf with the same name as your mom fsgsg.

Like-common name probably and all, but it's still funny to imagine.
