Such a good convincer, makes tsukki bring over yamaguchi for a playdate w him and his cgs, even convinces akaashi to take them all to the park

Wants to do so much stuff he can't sit still at all unless it's for a super interesting movie and even then he's sitting upside down, fidgeting w a stimtoy

Unless he's absolutely drained and yawning and whining so much that he has to be put to bed which is actually a fairly common occurence because his battery drains very spontaneously and very quickly after they did stuff w other people because he just gets so excited and burns through his energy quickly

If he's not had a fun day he'll be wound up and won't go to sleep or take naps so he and akaashi will put on some music and play i spy with my little eye with him until he's calmed down enough to at least try

They do end up falling asleep on top of each other a lot, akaashi makes himself sleepy when he's relaxing w bo, it's kind of a recharge for him too

Bo will also fiddle with random household objects like a spatula or scissors which can sometimes be dangerous becaus he's not very aware of holding them and he's also quite clumsy and likes to run so akaashi hides the scissors and gives him his plushie instead but it doesn't take long before bo finds something else to carry around

Loves getting gifts, will yell how much he loves it but he hates getting them for other people even if he rly loves them because he always starts to worry if they'll hate it. so when he's drawing and wants to give it to akaashi for example he tends to overthink that

Blanket hoarder, this correlates directly to buillding forts and bokuto will also transform himself into a burrito topped with a weighted blanket for maximum comfort

Floor time makes him a happy little guy

Kuroo was crying loud and hard, so hard that their face was beet red, occasionally stuttering to gasp for breath.

So far all attempts to calm them down had failed.

Kitty had done minimal help, quickly being tossed back at Kenma.

Their weighted blanket hadn’t helped at all, the little almost biting Akaashi on the arm when he tried to place it on their shoulders.

Yaku had had no luck either, swiftly getting kicked in the leg when he had shuffled closer.

Bokuto was huddled up in the corner, upset at his inability to calm down his regressor sibling.

Nothing had worked.

The pain in Kuroos eyes had Kenma reeling. Surly there was something they could do. He couldn’t just leave them in here.

“Kuroo, sweetheart, we can’t help you if we don’t know what’s wrong?” The little in front of him only started to cry harder, clearly also upset by the communication barrier.

“Kenma. We’re out of options. Can you think of anyone else that might be able to help?” Yaku was still rubbing his shin from his place on the floor.

“The only person I can think of his their little brother, but that runs the risk of also triggering him, and if he’s alone then we have another issue on our hands.”

A gaspy sob echoed around the room again, Kuroos fingers digging into their knees as they rocked back and forward.

With a heavy sigh, Kenma pulled out his phone, thumbing in Kagami’s number and hitting dial.

“What’s wrong?” Ah yep, he knew Kenma only ever called if something was wrong.

“Are you with someone you consider safe?”

“Is that Tetsu crying? Are they ok? What happened?”

“Kuroo slipped and started crying, they can’t tell us what’s wrong but we’ve tried everything.”

“Is their eye covered?”

The three caregivers looked up. Low and behold, Kuroos fringe was askew, exposing their scars and blind eye.

“You’re a life saver Kagami!”

Kenma tried to make himself smaller, crawling over to sit beside his little.

“Oh my baby. Is it you’re fringe?” Carefully his fingers pushed the long black hair over, covering their right eye in the process.

The crying quietened, slowing down to a sniffle almost instantly.

“They must be really little if they couldn’t fix it them self.”

Kuroo just whimpered quietly, making grabby hands at where Kitty had landed on the floor.

Akaashi picked her up, placing her in their grasp, the little curling around them before bringing their thumb up the their lips, still sniffling.

“You must be really tired after all that. Do you want to take a nap my baby?” Kenma cooed, bringing them down to rest against his lap.

Kuroo gave no visible response, probably not even registering the words spoken to them given how low their headspace could slip.

“BoBo?” Akaashi called to his little. “Do you wanna come over and help keep Kuroo safe? They are just a baby right now and they might need their big brother?”

The grey haired regressor perked up, toddling over to crouch in front of his sibling.

“Ku baby?”

“Ku is baby.” Kenma nodded, patting the floor beside him and Kuroo.

“Ohhh.” Bokuto hummed as he curled up on the other side of his sibling, covering their body as much as possible. “Oo safe Ku. BoBo keep safe.”

bokuto is the “gets into trouble and can’t be left alone” little, kuroo is the “i know they shouldn’t do that because it could cause harm but i’m going to encourage them to do it because it’s funny” older brother, and kenma and akaashi are the “oh my god the two of you are going to drive us fucking nuts!” caregivers.

Kuroo’s sister is a lot older than himself, so he never spent much time with her.

But Bokuto’s sisters are close in age with their brother. So the first time Kuroo goes there he’s so suprised and gets so babies by them.

hello, sorry this took so long to finish. i decided to put the full piece on Patreon as a public post since i’ve posted another crossover there previously. i wanted to make sure i didn’t fall into the stigma around this concept so i did a little more research on it. i’ll talk about it more in the full post but hope you enjoy!

HAIKYUU

kenma; he seems like he habitually acts childish aside from being rather intelligent and perceptive. he can be extremely lazy and whiny when he doesn’t want to do something other than playing games in his room all day and night. his caregiver has to be smart and best him at his own game. not exactly manipulation but a little reverse psychology couldn’t hurt.

bokuto; he has deeply rooted insecurities and will often want sympathy from others when he messes up or suddenly becomes extremely aware of his flaws. he is quite literally the physical embodiment of ‘seven compliments for every one negative comment.’ his caregiver must be patient when reassuring him but not feed him exaggerations about his abilities. 

atsumu; it’s possible that he’s the younger twin but either way, he doesn’t like to be in anyone’s shadow. he’s a perfectionist at heart which is why he had to overtake his brother as a better setter. he’s known to be someone who lies, doesn’t return borrowed items, and is anything but quiet. he acts out wildly when he can’t be the best out there, therefore his caregiver should try to be as soothing as possible for him to calm down.

oh man do i! bokuto and kuroo are my two favorite hq characters~ you didn't specify if you wanted regressor or carer or petreg or what, so i'm just gonna throw a bunch in!

Bokuto and Kuroo Headcanons

tw: minor punishment mention (timeouts)

bokuto is a regressor! he usually regresses to around 3-5, but also has an older headspace that's more of a big brotherly mindset. he's regressed most of the time that he's not practicing or playing volleyball seriously.

kuroo is mainly a carer, and is also a cat regressor! he sometimes does regress a bit, more to a teenage age, and is still a big brother figure as opposed to a little kid. (he even acts like a parent cat when he's in his cat headspace. he's just a naturally caring person!)

bokuto has entirely too much energy. he's constantly running around shouting and making messes, and loves playing outside. he especially loves playing volleyball (go figure) but all his technique goes out the window, and he often ends up kicking the ball as much as he bumps or spikes it.

kuroo usually takes care of bokuto, making sure he doesn't hurt himself or bother anyone too much. (not that most of the people around bokuto mind at all.) akaashi helps out with bokuto's care as well, and watches over both kuroo and bokuto if they're both feeling younger.

when kuroo is in his cat headspace, his caring is more...well, catlike. if bokuto is being too loud or wild, kuroo will just kind of grab him by the back of the shirt and pull him down onto a couch or bed to curl around him and get him to settle down. kuroo is all about physicality in his headspace; he likes touch and communicates mostly though body language.

bokuto can be a handful when it comes to his emotions. he's usually happy and excited, but he can get very fussy and upset at the smallest things. he throws tantrums sometimes and kuroo has to give him timeouts, but he always comes back out of it ready to apologize.

kuroo is very good at determining when bokuto's moods are caused by something understandable (like something that is messing with his SPD), or him just being a bit of a brat (like not getting some candy he wanted).

Lately I’ve been deep into the baby omi agenda, so do you have a Drabble ( or headcanons if it makes more sense/ easier) of regressor Sakusa on a play date with Regressors Bokuto and Atsumu?

I'm worried I'm going to mess up Sakusa's personality but I'm going to try and do a drabble because every time I tried writing a headcannon one it turned in to a drabble.

Nicknames used: bubs, bubba, baby, kiddo Note: Atsumu isn't featured much because I'm still trying to figure out his personality aswell <3 I hope this still suffices.

Sakusa was quietly kicking his legs, listening as Komori made his way around the room grabbing different things that Sakusa may need while they were gone. "Paci?" Komori glanced up and nodded, shifting through the drawer to find the pacifier that they left in there.

"Here bubs." Sakusa leaned forward taking the pacifier, before falling back into the couch cushions contently as Komori continued to shift through things and put them in the bag he was holding.

Once he finished up grabbing everything, Komori pulled up Sakusa's mask and held out his hand for the boy to take. "Ready to head to 'Kaashi and 'Kuto's?"

Sakusa nodded and jumped up, quickly taking Komori's hand. He was excited to finally see his friends again and be able to play with them since he was usually alone - minus Komori of course.

"Go'nna see 'Kuto an' TsuTsu?" He rocked their hands back and forth as they walked down to their friends household. Since they didn't live all that far from Bokuto and Akaashi they had decided to walk there rather than drive like they usually would.

"Yeah you're going to see them bubba! Are you excited to do anything specific?" Sakusa nodded, quietly mumbling out a few different things that had been talked about amongst the three in their groupchat for when they were regressed.

Komori happily nodded along, responding back with excitement and telling him on how cool everything sounded. Eventually they arrived at the residence, Sakusa leaned forward and hit the doorbell a couple times before hiding behind Komori's back.

The door was swung open shortly after, a regressed Bokuto being revealed - and clearly excited for the third member of the play date to finally arrive. "Saku! Hi!"

He quickly grabbed on to Sakusa's wrist, tugging him forward and in to the house, "Baby, remember don't pressure your guests and be gentle with them, Sakusa's a lot younger than you."

Which was the truth, Sakusa typically regressed a few years younger than Bokuto did. While Bokuto ranged about 7-8 and Atsumu 5-7 Sakusa fell around 3-4, so a decent amount younger than the over-excited Bokuto who was currently pouting that he got told to calm down by Akaashi.

"Hi 'Kusa!" Atsumu jumped up from his block castle, quickly running up and climbing on to the bench to sit next to Sakusa. "Wa'nna build wi'th us?"

Osamu sighed and picked up his brother, mumbling out a quick sorry to Komori. "Atsu, bud, Sakusa would love to build with you guys but he has to get his shoes taken off first. Why don't you keep building and Sakusa will come join you in a moment?"

Atsumu puffed out his cheeks but quickly nodded and got sat down with the blocks and Bokuto. Komori got to taking off his and Sakusa's shoes, making sure to be quick so Sakusa could get to playing soon.

"Play now?" Sakusa kicked his feet and pulled down his mask, scrunching up his nose. Komori nodded and stood up, gently patting Sakusa's arm to usher him off to play while he had - what the regressors described as - 'boring adult talk'

Sakusa joined the others, quickly getting excited squeals and blocks shoved in his lap. "We havin' a c'allenge, make ta bestest castle! Kay?" Atsumu dropped another handful of blocks in to Sakusa's lap as he talked, offering a quick smile before going back to his castle.

"Kay-Kay TsuTsu!" Sakusa picked up one of the blocks, stacking it on top of another one. He started building up a small tower, watching the blocks get wobbly the higher he went.

"Saku tha's a tower, not'ta castle!" Bokuto went to help Sakusa build a tower, only to receive a quick whine and a shake of the head. "No help? Bu'h we building castles?"

Akaashi looked over at the trio, quickly analyzing the situation. "Bo, I know you wanted to have a castle competition but you still can. Sakusa can be the judge instead though."

Bokuto nodded, sitting back down and building his castle up. "Wan blo'ck?" Sakusa held out one of his blocks at Bokuto, biting the inside of his cheek as he watched Bokuto look at the block, then back at his castle, then to the block once again.

"Yeah!" Bokuto grabbed the block and looked back at his tower, carefully holding it above a spot with a missing piece, "Gon'na put it here! T'ank you!" Bokuto dropped the block down and smiled at his finished castle.

-they both have cat stuffies that their adoptive dads gave to them before moving to Tokyo

-theirs is a black plush cat called Kitty

-nonverbal, will not speak and you cant make them

-also uses all pronouns but mostly they/them

-is definitely more likely to use she/her pronouns when little than when big

-Kenma is caregiver, Akaashi and Yaku are back up/ uncles

-is completely blind in their right eye

-must have their eye scars hidden when little, will cry non stop until someone fixes their fringe

-constantly putting their fingers in their mouth, Kenma buys them a purple paw print paci

-low key didn’t like that Kuroo would just grab his hand and start biting his fingers but didn’t want to tell them off ((even tho it HURT))

-likes purple and red clothes the most

-super sensitive to texture

-physical can not mask when little, all of their autistic traits are on full display

-lots and lots of stimming

-despite being the older sibling, regresses WAY younger than Kagami

-probably like 0-3

-humming is about the only noise they will make

-Bokuto calls himself ‘BoBo’ and plays the big brother roll most of the time

-is one of the only people that can pick up and carry Kuroo around

-“c’mon Ku’o. BoBo gonna help ya find our papas.” And just picks them up

-them and little Lev have a lot of play dates together as well

-it’s not uncommon for Kenma and Yaku to find them curled up asleep with each other

-because Lev is taller they try to cover Kuroo with their legs and arms to make them feel safe enough to sleep without Kenma around

-it works

-kitty space Kuroo will just knock over random things and then sprint away, poorly contained giggles and all

-also likes to sneak up behind their brother and just... jump on him

-almost always takes poor Kagami to the ground

-kitty Kuroo can fall asleep anywhere

-totally hissed at puppy Kyotani at camp once ((kyo barked at them first it totally wasn’t their fault Kenma!))

-their wardrobe is chaos, with femme, masc and little clothes never being sorted correctly

-gets upset if they can’t find their little overalls tho
