Sailor Guardians + Legendary Pokemon

Part of my Sailor Moon/Pokemon AU. Each of the Sailor Guardians has a special connection to a Legendary or Mythical Pokemon.

Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon: Lunala

Lunala is one of the Alola region's Legendary Pokemon, and is essentially the personification of the moon-- fitting for Sailor Moon herself.

Ami Mizuno/Sailor Mercury: Suicune

One of the three Legendary Beasts of Johto, Suicune has both water and ice powers, just like Sailor Mercury.

Rei Hino/Sailor Mars: Entei

Rei's Legendary is none other than Entei, a Pokemon associated with fire and volcanoes. (There are other Fire-type Pokemon, but I wanted Sailor Moon's first three companions to each have a Legendary Beast.)

Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter: Raikou

To round out the trio of Legendary Johto Beasts, I assigned Raikou to be Makoto's partner.

Minako Aino/Sailor Venus: Zacian

I picked Zacian-- a Galarian Legendary Pokemon-- for Sailor Venus because A) it has a giant sword, and B) it's a Fairy-type. (But mostly because of the giant sword.)

Mamoru Chiba/Tuxedo Mask: Zygarde

Zygarde is one of the Kalos region's Legendary Pokemon, and is said to be a guardian of the ecosystem (and thus, the earth). Since Mamoru also has a strong connection to the earth, I thought Zygarde would be perfect for him.

Chibiusa/Sailor Chibi Moon: Cresselia

Cresselia is one of the many Legendary Pokemon from the Sinnoh region. Just like Lunala, this Pokemon is associated with the moon-- which is why I picked it for Chibiusa.

Haruka Tenoh/Sailor Uranus: Rayquaza

Part of Hoenn's "Weather Trio," Rayquaza has immense power over sky and storms. Once I found out that Sailor Uranus also had sky-related powers, I had to pick this Pokemon for her.

Michiru Kaioh/Sailor Neptune: Kyogre

Kyogre is said to be the personification of the ocean itself, so it's the perfect Legendary partner for Sailor Neptune.

Setsuna Meioh/Sailor Pluto: Dialga

Sailor Pluto is the guardian of the Time Gate in the Sailor Moon universe, and Dialga is the personification of time in the Pokemon world. It was only logical that I have the two of them be partners in my crossover AU.

Hotaru Tomoe/Sailor Saturn: Yveltal

To finish off this list, we have Yveltal (the Destruction Pokemon) as the partner of Sailor Saturn (also known as the Guardian of Destruction). Both of them are feared for their world-ending powers, but neither of them are inherently evil.

alot of people are speculating Samurai Remnant's Rider might be Raikou due to their usage of purple lightining. i hope this is true i want to see the yakuza'esque boss Raikou Kintoki always says is her scariest form

If it was just purple flashes and lightning it could be anyone, but Rider having an extremely long sword, familiar looking shoulder pads, AND being taller than everyone else? That's got to be Raikou.

While Raikou's official height isn't even over 6 feet, we know from the Shimousa manga that Wataru Rei draws her as incredibly tall, towering over Musashi

Just like how Rider towers over Saber here

It's going to be really funny if Rider is actually Raikou though because it means her VA, who is also Aoko, stars in three Type-Moon new releases in a row (Tsukihime Remake, Mahoyo rerelease, and now Samurai Remnant if Rider turns out to be Raikou). Without ever playing a Saberface!

To date (at least in series so far, as well anime), Zero's probably the only other Makai Knight aside from most Garo knights (Kouga, Raiga., Ryuga (?), Raikou) who ended up falling into Lost Soul Beast form due to exceeding the time limit of how long they can adorn their makai armours.

If they were badly injured, and for whatever reason couldn't go to a hospital, who would they go to for help?

So Kessho wouldn't go to a hospital if she could help it. In her mind there's no need. Before she studied medical ninjutsu, she had basic emergency medical training. The kind of person to just, burn a wound shut if she ran out of needle and thread. That's how she got most of her scars.

Akina can't go to the hospital. Well at least not while she was still in the Yakuza. Raikou (the oyabun) has someone on call for that and given their relationship she would just head over to wherever he was at. That being said considering it wasn't an official hospital and pretty much whatever the doctor could carry in a bag... It wasn't always pretty.

Aquarela 2.0... Umm... Probably Tobi. She doesn't know many other people yet that she trusts in San Diego at this stage.

Aquarela 1.0, she's an emergency military surgeon. She's got training in this kind of thing. If she can't do it herself she'd probably call whoever's closest with the best training and talk them through it.

Rei: He would call Kessho. For sure, she knows what to do.

Raikou: Like I said he has a guy, but I have a feeling that once Akina gets licensed to be a pediatrician, he'll probably call her if it's more family matters stuff. He knows that he can trust her no matter what, for both Sakuya and Katsumi.

Maria/Valentina??? I think idk I've given her 3 names and this project is on hiatus: She would probably call Geto. That's who she trusts.

Valentina (Aquarela 2.0 AU): She would call Tobirama. She would probably very much enjoy the idea of Tobirama coming to save her.

Obito/Asuma: They both would call mommy aka Kessho.

i dont have a "people chosen by legendarys" thing in my main au but if i did, heres whod have what

violet, leaf, and green would have moltres, articuno, and zapdos. mewtwo would have no one. mew would go to yellow ig bc the boys don't get legendaries, it's the rules.

its a fight over daphne but i think celebi gets it in the end. in this au then the chosen two for lugia and ho oh would be sparrow and silver which is. certainly a duo thatd tooootallyyyy get along lmao. kris to suicune. raikou to anabel since i am firmly in the only one for the beasts camp. dunno about entei.

ivy and brendan with their latias and latios. no one for kyogre and groudon bc chosens are for good legendaries who dont purposefully try to kill off all of humanity. but rayquaza would have wallace. zinnias pissed about it. lisia and jirachi, then wally and deoxys. no one with the regis bc they never get woken in my plot.

chryssa and darkrai who used to be paired with her dad. palmer and cresselia as a match. azelf, uxie, and mesprit with maylene, prof rowan, and lucas. odd group, but theyre all there when theyre freed from the red chain (and cynthia, but her being overlooked is funny to me). thatd be it for sinnoh i think. barry maybe gets one some day but idk who. maybe somethint silly like shaymin, maybe something big like giratina. candice could theoretically be chosen of regigigas, but thats more a caretaker thing. oh and brandon (the hoenn frontier brain) has the sinnohan regis but i doubt he's a "chosen" of them.

ieva and n, and reshiram and zekrom ofc. had a cute idea of bryony, hugh and concordia matching the swords of justice. bryony-virizion, hugh-terrakion, concordia-cobalion. she would not be its chosen bc she is not human, but in this scenario i imagine zorua rides on keldeos back like a knight lol. and uhh thats it. i refuse to acknowledge the genies, dunno about victini and genesect (it stays with bryony for a bit but shes already spoken for), and kyurem is put in the corner with kyogre and groudon.

carmella and diancie, trevor and zygarde, calem and xerneas, shauna and yveltal and ig tierno and hoopa...? hoopa seems like it'd like to dance. that leaves only volcanion.

lillie and nebby!! aka solgaleo. then the tapu's and the kahuna’s. gladion and silvally? i think thatd actually be it. necrozma is with kyurem and the weather duo in time out.

lili and hop, and zacian and zamazenta. marnie and bede and g moltres and articuno is a vibe, and i do have at least bede in the crown tundra plot. peonia for zapdos maybe lol? leon and eternatus? peony and calyrex lmao? oh, i suppose mustard and urshifu.

Ideas for Sailor Moon AUs

Everyone has an animal companion. (In canon, Usagi has Luna, Red has Phobos and Deimos the crows, and Minako has Artemis. Also, each Sailor Guardian's animal companion is named after something related to their guardian planet.

Star Trek AU where they're all members of the same crew. Luna and Artemis can still talk in this AU.

Pokemon AU, where each character has a special connection to a Legendary Pokemon:

The Princess Bride, but replace all the characters with the Sailor Moon cast.

One of my friends and I already thought about this, but: an AU where the Sailor Guardians are pen pals/long-distance friends with Ms. Frizzle's class from the Magic School Bus franchise. Occasionally, they see each other in person and shenanigans ensue.

In the Marvel multiverse, Spider-Man (AKA Peter Parker) is considered a "menace" to New York, at least according to J. Jonah Jameson. But what if one (or more) members of the Sailor Moon cast had to deal with the same thing? (Bonus points if they work as a photographer for the local newspaper and they take pictures of Sailor [whoever], AKA themselves.)

I really want to make hollow a fairy type Pokémon gym leader

Hornet is just straight up fighting type

Ghost is one of those weird gym leaders with a mixed team but mostly dark types

Pk is tricky but I will make him a gym leader that uses only white Pokémon (plus a shiny trevenant from his wife)

White lady is just a grass type

And monomon best mon is a reuniclus

Tiso has a fighting type preference

But his best mon is an azumarill

Quirrel just uses fast pokemons

Lurien uses water and dark types (he is not edge mom)

Herrah uses e rei suicune and raikou because she said so

Some interesting things happening at the pokecamp:

First Yuriy the Weavile making friends with another trainer's Midnight Lycanroc, I found this very amusing. Rei the Raikou making friends with said other trainer (Charlie the Inteleon and Chandelure photo bombing the scene)

Then we have some thoughts from Rei the Raikou about Yuriy and about myself:

"Rei doesn't have any particular interest in Yuriy"

"Looks like Rei likes you very Much!"
