I had a lot of trouble with the coloring... It's pretty subtle, but I tried something new with the rendering.

quick start ranting about ai-generated fanfics

extremely funny but absolutely should not be posted if made entirely by ai because nobody wants to read that

but stuff like “every other paragraph of this story is ai generated” is fun for the reader and writer so i fully endorse posting shit like that

ai is also pretty helpful just as a writing assistant. how do i word this sentence more coherently? how do i make this premise more engaging? how do i describe this thing more simply? the majority of my fanfics have had some sort of ai influence for like, 1 sentence

ai is also great for researching when you need info for a fanfic. like when i’m doing setting i often ask chatgpt about my options

fully ai generated fanfics are funny to send to your friends though. i’m sure you remember “Remillia Scarlet Verifies Bloodbath” that you did a reading of while i was playing celeste in vc

not to mention chatgpt has such a soulless and generic writing style with absolutely zero significant detail which makes everything so much funnier because it’s so machinelike. and it just gets stuff wrong a lot of the time

i think the convenience makes it fun to do with friends too. hey chatgpt write me a fanfic about hecatia lapislazuli and junko arguing over who gets custody of clownpiece. make it really serious and sad also include dialogue

Hecatia, her voice stern yet tinged with sorrow, declared, "Clownpiece deserves a realm of laughter and whimsy. Gensokyo is the perfect place for her, where joy intertwines with the fantastical."

Junko, her eyes flashing with determination, countered, "No, Clownpiece belongs to the Lunar Capital. There, she can embody the purity of the moon, untouched by earthly chaos. It's her true celestial destiny."

Clownpiece, caught between these powerful entities, looked down with a heavy heart. "I just want to make people smile. I never meant for this to happen," she whispered, her voice a fragile melody.

As the argument escalated, the once jovial atmosphere of Gensokyo grew somber. Hecatia's gaze softened as she spoke, "Junko, can't we find a compromise? Share custody and let Clownpiece experience both realms, a bridge between joy and serenity."

Junko hesitated, but a flicker of agreement crossed her face. "Very well, Hecatia. But Gensokyo must respect the Lunar Capital's influence on her upbringing."

The celestial beings reached an uneasy accord, and Clownpiece, though torn, felt a glimmer of hope. As she floated between realms, the cosmic dispute left a lingering sorrow, a reminder of the sacrifices made for her uncertain destiny.

Speculation for Touhou 19 Update: [SPOILERS THIS IS OUTDATED KINDA SORTA LOL]

Ok so I haven't gotten to talk too much about my theories for Touhou 19 but I'll share some speculation and predictions that I have as well as a few theories.

First of all, I feel like not enough people are mentioning Seija as a possible character in this game, like, her whole thing is about the "weak eating the strong" and "overturning society" so this seems like a pretty good chance for her to go against the main enforcers of that ideology i.e. the beast yakuza leaders (Saki, Yachie, and Yuuma). I mainly got this idea from another Tumblr user mentioning Seija and I loved that concept so much, so I'm bringing it up again just to make people more aware of it.

Another thing I would like to mention is the SDMs role in the story, which may seem out of left field but hear me out. So, in 17.5 Okina got Flandre to beat up Yuuma yadayadayada incident solved. I haven't read up on too much of 17.5s story but I know that she's left in charge of the blood pools by Okina and that's that… or is it? What about the eagle spirits that learned of their leader (who they hold in very high regard) being defeated? Wouldn't they also use this opportunity to get revenge on the one who did it? How would Remillia react if she learned that her little sister was being targeted by a bunch of (potentially dangerous) beast spirits? And thus, this would be the reason for Sakuya to get herself involved in the incident. Even if Remillia or Flandre herself tried to tell her "It'll be fine! They're weak anyway! What's the worst they could do?" Sakuya would probably be too paranoid to let it slide.

Another thing to note is the Netherworlds involvement in this game, specifically Youmu. It would also be very likely that she would be involved too since in one of her touhou 17 endings, Eiki told Youmu to get more information on Yachie. So of course, this would be a great oppurtunity to do so.

Some people are also speculating the Moriya Shrines involvement in the new incident, which could be likely as the opportunity of claiming new land would be right up their alley. Plus a leak of Sanae being a potential character in this would support this theory.

One of the most common predictions for Touhou 19s roster and story is that the beast yakuza leaders would also want to get themselves involved in claiming new land. Plus the potential introduction of the fourth faction could also play into this, with all of them trying to go for the same place at once.

Then we have Tsukasa, who I think could probably be related to the fourth faction or (just the beast realm in general), and could potentially be the instigator for Touhou 19s story as she was for 18s story. I should also bring up Chimatas potential involvement as I think it would make sense, this was probably an unintentional side effect of her own ability and she would obviously want to help sort things out again.

Another thing that's mentioned a lot in the story is the possibility of Reimu being lured into a trap of some sort by going to the animal realm, mainly by Aunn. Now, there could be a variety of things that could happen with Reimu and the animal realm, but I'm saving this part for last because it's the possibility I'm most excited for and think would be a really fun twist.

There's also the fourth faction, who we know from Yachies profile uses "cowardly tactics" such as poisoning, parasitism, and assassination, which may mean that the spirits in the faction may not be the strongest in terms of physical strength, but more in strategy, so who could the spirits in this faction be? Foxes, cats, or maybe even monkeys, which leans into the idea of the Sun Wukong character being the leader of the fourth faction.

Then there's the question of who is the true mastermind behind the incident. With Marisa stating that there is some "unknown magic" behind the whole thing, there could be a multitude of answers to this question. It could be someone new or someone we know. I personally think that Okina would play some role in this incident as one of her abilities is manipulating mental energy, which means that she could make everyone want the new land. It could probably be someone new, but the answer to this question will probably have to wait until the full game is out.

So, as of right now, everyone in Gensokyo is going for this new land that just popped up. Especially the beast spirits and beast gangs. Now, if we consider the possibility that the beast leaders themselves (including the fourth one) are also looking to claim the new land, then what does that mean for the animal realm? Since no one is there (except like, maybe a few beast spirits who didn't go), the animal realm (and the human spirits for that matter) are left unwatched.

And I think we know who would want to use this opportunity to gather some faith and take over the animal realm completely...

So, I feel like Keiki wouldn't be a playable, she would probably send Mayumi out to go get this new land for a new base for the human spirits as a backup plan, so we can expect Mayumi to join the "New stage 5 character becomes a protagonist" club. Meanwhile, Keiki has all the time in the world to reassemble her Haniwa army and take over the animal realm. Just to clarify, I don't think Keiki is the one responsible for the incident as a whole, rather, she's just taking advantage of the situation. It would be out of character for someone like Yachie to just leave without making sure the animal realm doesn't get taken over, it seems like an oversight that she wouldn't make. This is why I mentioned maybe a few beast spirits staying behind just in case something happens. Maybe the fourth faction leader is still in the beast realm and is trying to keep Keiki back as long as they can to the best of their ability, and if the fourth leader really is the Sun Wukong inspired character, then anyone who is familiar with the story they come from (Journey to the West) would know that this character would probably jump at the opportunity to fight a powerful god. That probably wouldn't be the primary reason just a little benefit for them.

And with that marks the end of this, really, really long post (LOL), but yeah those are a few of my predictions and speculations. I used to have the mentality of "If you say your wish out loud then it won't come true" but if I was right about the Sun Wukong inspired 2hu character then who knows, maybe I'll be right about a few things here. KKTAV episode 23: Scarlet Retributions

The sun shone brightly over the Former Hell of Blazing Fires, despite it being underground and Utsuho Reiuji slacking on her reactor duties. 

Koishi Komeiji was practising her Dessert Eagle Sharpshooter skills in the Chireiden firing range when Spongey Duncton came in with tears of weeping.

''What is meaning of this rackettous noise, Spongey Duncton!?'' Roared Koishi Komeiji with indignation.

''It is terrible, Koishi Komeiji the Scarlet Devil Mansion have published mocking words towards Chireiden.'' Said Spongey Duncton with molely honks as they handed over a newspaper.

Koishi Komeiji's two eyes widened with the fury of a million dying stars.  Her third eye did not open, as it is still closed.

The newspaper headline bore savage words, ''CHIREIDEN IS IMPOVERISHED HOVEL''.

It was written by Remillia Scarlet, with words of mocking.

''We of Scarlet Devil Mansion declare ourselves the greatest faction of Gensokyo lands, better than the underground pigs of the Komeijis.  My charismatic fate weaving is far stronger than Koishi Komeiji' subconscious manipulations.'' Said the paper but in written words.

''DEFAMATION!'' Hollered Koishi Komeiji with pure furies.

''Koishi Komeiji, what is all of this racket?'' Said Satori Komeiji with mumbling.

''We have been cruelly insulted by the Scarlet Devil Mansion in the newspapers!'' Said Koishi Komeiji with rages.

''It is merely the fate of our cursed Komeiji bloodline to be ridiculed by all but wild beasts, sister.  We must move forewards with heads held high despite these indignities.'' Said Satori Komeiji with wisdom and resignedness.

''Sister, you may accept the hardships of our species, but I shall not stand for this!  I will storm the Scarlet Devil Mansion and battle for the honor of Chireiden!'' Said Koishi Komeiji with determination.

''At least stay for dinner.  I have cooked a meal of boiled roots and cotton balls.'' Said Satori Komeiji with Britishness. 

''I cannot wait for one second.  The longer we leave Remillia Scarlet, the stronger she becomes.'' Said Koishi Komeiji with hungry seriousness.

Koishi Komeiji went to Chireiden armoury to lock and load.  She grabbed her best knife, a few spell cards, and a cool rock.  Utsuho Reiuji walked in slowly with her concrete foot.

''The path of a hero is lonely and harsh, baby Koishi.  Are you sure you are ready for this mission?'' Rumbled Utsuho Reiuji with badassness. 

''As sure as cancer is serious'' Said Koishi Komeiji with wit.

''I understood that reference'' Said Utsuho Reiuji with music appreciation.

Koishi Komeiji swaggered to her 2005 Honda Civic with no roof and badass burning rose decals.  She lit a Garfield branded lasagne cigar to honour her greatest hero.

''Will you be going alone?'' Said Satori Komeiji with sisterly concerns.

''Yes.  Utsuho Reiuji and Rin Kaenbyou can hold the fort while I am gone and you are too much of a sad pudding to handle combat.'' Said Koishi Komeiji finishing her sentence with a salute.

Koishi Komeiji and Spongey Duncton cruised through the human village blasting tunes with blistering hot metal riffs. 

''Haha there goes bastard baby Komeij'' Said Hata No Kokoro with much mockings.

''I will strike you down once I wipe Remillia Scarlet off the map!'' Roared Koishi Komeiji with romantically confused rage.

Spongey Duncton who was driving turned the Honda Civit to run over Hata No Kokoro.  Koishi Komeiji could not drive.

''Uh oh, now we are the hot dog'' Said Hata No Kokoro with miseries. 

The Scarlet Devil Mansion loomed over the Misty Lake like a dog over a food bowl.  Hong Meiling stood at the gate with sleepiness.  Spongey Duncton parked the car on a rock.

''Out of the way, gatekeeper.  I am here to dish up justice to your dark overlord Remillia Scarlet.''  Said Koishi Komeiji with seriousness.

''But Remillia Scarlet went missing yesterday morning.'' Said Hong Meilling with much confusion.

''Lies!  How could she write this slander in the newspaper!'' Roared Koishi Komeiji with rage.

''But Remillia can't write these words, she has only passed fourth grade and can only read Ulyssus.'' said Hong Meiling with confusion.

''Liar!  Embers of Love!'' Yelled Koishi Komeiji, unleasing her powerful spell card.

''Owwwwwwwww...'' said Hong Meiling with pain as she exploded into P-Blocks.

As Koishi Komeiji stormed Scarlet Devil Manor shooting maid fairys with her Dessert Eagle, a shadow emerged from the shadows.  It was... the asthmatic magician woman!

''wheeze'' wheezed asthma woman with mercurry poisoning.

''I see...'' Said Koishi Komeiji with understanding.

Koishi Komeiji went to the stairs to the throne room.  The stairs were unpleasantly tall but Koishi Komeiji could float at ten mph.

After a few hours of floating at top speeds, Koishi Komeiji reached the Scarlet Devil trone room.

''Show yourself, miscreant!'' Roared Koishi Komeiji with holy rage. 

The true mastermind emerged.  It was... Aya Shamiemaru!

''Oh hey you took awhile to get here, I've been here for days.'' Said Aya Shameimaru with vicious mocking.

''How could you do this to the Esteemed House of Komeiji!?  Dragging our names in the mud like farm equiptment!?'' Roared Koishi Komeiji with indignations.

''idk someone paid me to do it and it sounded fun'' Said Aya Shyamemaru with evil.

''...Alright, but why frame Remillia Scarlet?  This is all very convoluted, like a terrible fanfiction written in tribute to other terrible fanfiction'' Said Koishi Komeiji with inquiries. 

''I don't actually know, they were a mole and I don't speak mole.'' Said Aya Shamiemamruma with tenguly spite.

''Oh alright then, have fun with whatever you are doing.'' Said Koishu Komeiji with thoughts as she emptied a full clip of her dessert eagle in the wall so her sharpshooting practise would'nt go to waste. 

''Aight, have a good one'' Said Aya Syameimara with camera clicks.

The drive back to Chireiden was uneventful but fraught with doubts.  Koishi Komeiji lit up a lasange cigar as Stan Bush's hit song 'You Got The Touch' blasts on the Honda Civic radio.

''I think someone inside the Chireiden has betrayed us'' Said Koishi Komeii with deductions.

''What will you do about it?'' Said Spongey Duncton with mole noises as they hit Hata No Kokoro with the Honda Civic again.

''Get my retribution... A Scarlet Reribution...'' Said Koishi Komeiji with cool badassery.

The art is so GOOD!!!! Don't get me wrong, the plot is still cliche as hell which is why I was so surprised by the art. This manga truly has no right to look this good!

Remillia? Queen. Character designs? Exquisite. Facial expressions? Clear as day! You have no idea how many manga/manhwa's I've read where the characters (especially the male characters) they have such a dead face. If they're sad, SHOW THEM CRYING DAMN IT. Instead of just have a single tear roll down their eye.

Anyways I know I didn't say anything about the plot but if you're a fan of villainess manga then I highly recommend this. Is this a quality read that could stand next to the likes of Who Made Me Princess? No but it sure is fun either way. And staring the art is most of the fun anyways.
