Advice: III - Growth

Within your arsenal of hobbies or interests, you hold the key to your own success. There is an understandable problem of being the jack of all trades here, pouring water into multiple different cups a little at a time. You may also be good at each one of these interests. And while I don’t think that this is inherently a bad thing, you are spreading yourself too thin and hindering your success. Picking one of these interests to completely invest yourself into to try to build fiscal reward doesn’t mean you have to give up all your other interests. You may have to work around a new schedule. Also, this interest may need to be seen by the world. There is a feeling of building courage, but as soon as you have to dive in and expose your interest, you kinda chicken out. This comes from the care you have for your interest, it’s vulnerable exposing something so near and dear to your heart. The fear of not being accepted and loved. What if your vulnerability isn’t enough? You probably already know of this fear. But must I say, you are doing a terrible disservice to yourself for giving so much power to other people to the point that it controls your life. As my sister says, “we are literally an ant fart in the universe,” and you care about other people’s (negative) opinions? Crazyyyy. You spend all this time creating, forming something purely out of thin air… A past art professor once said, “what you make has never existed before.”

A critique isn’t excluded because they aren’t negative — negative “critiques” are usually people’s hate. You take critiques and decide whether you use them or not. A lot of my past professors’ advice is coming out, so you may be creative. But everything is inherently creative, sciences and arts work together simultaneously. Besides that point, I will say that this group may be a lot harder on themselves. I feel as though I am giving advice to a younger sibling. Do not beat yourself up over letting the opinion of yourself be dictated by other people. You’re just doing more damage to yourself. You shouldn’t feel bad for wanting to be loved and accepted. But, if it is at the expense of your own success.

Or…Is it a fear of succeeding? Your advice here is a card that talks about lack but also having an overabundance of something to the point of it becoming a cancer, a parasite. This could be warning you of burn out. You need to create a balance when it comes to managing that one interest, nursing it to success, and also engaging in your other interests on the side. Create a schedule that would work for you, but don’t cram all of them into one day. Delegate specific days for each hobby and for a set amount of (flexible) time but be diligent to the one you want to succeed. But remember, even though you water a plant, it doesn't mean that it will all happen over night. Don’t overwork yourself. Your success will come with steady, even time.

Your own stubbornness towards advice you’re given is hindering your success. Very similar to pile one with your success hidden, but the messages are completely different. This is my group of stubborn, sassy people — I can tell because the deck I picked for you always has my sassy guides connected to it ❤︎, but also by your energy. Now, pile 2~ Why would you come to a tarot reading if you always hate what a reading has to say? Is it because it isn’t what you want to hear? Your own stubbornness is what is stopping you from reaching your full potential. There is an energy here of wanting advice but getting butt hurt when you get it because it’s either something you don’t want to hear or you want someone to kiss your ass. This could be just an emotional response…You may just get hurt with advice because you could take it as people not caring, when it’s actually the other way around — especially if it comes from genuine people that you hold close. You may actually know that what they say is actually quite helpful, but continue to lie to yourself. You are hiding your own success from yourself. You could also be stuck in a cycle of suffering. It’s a place you feel most comfortable…you are comfortable with the uncomfortable.

Pile two, you have The Empress here…you have the potential to reach your full potential but you refuse to tap into it. It’s not that you can’t see it. But do you feel like you deserve it? I feel like you do think you deserve it but old wounds of not feeling like you do have driven you into repeating cycles.

Your advice card talks about two different perspectives of solitude. You could be withdrawing so much from society that you start to feel like you’re alien, anything but human. But it also mentions a fear of being alone and the act of doing anything to make sure you aren’t alone. Maybe your success will have you outgrowing people in your life. You’re afraid of that change. And a lot of people talk about having to walk away from people you outgrow, but that isn’t always the case. It’s okay to outgrow people and still remain friends or family. You may just have to hold them at a farther arms length than you used to. Where you are growing will also bring in other people as well. If people that you could outgrow are giving you helpful advice, they want to see you grow and succeed.

This pile had put up a very defensive front at the beginning and then muddled out towards the end. I don’t know if you also have a feeling that you want your problems to be magically solved but every time you get a reading or advice, it tells you that you have to put in some work. This issue could also be resolved if you just ask someone for help, if it’s a problem that can be delegated. Maybe the only help you want is someone to just hold your hand while you solve it yourself. But you have to ask. You want to be the main character but are forgetting that main characters work to move the story along (even if that means asking someone for help or support).

I had a hard time pulling cards for this pile. They wouldn’t come out until I stretched and shifted myself. What is hidden from you has to do with your tunnel vision towards what you’re doing and not being able to see clearly because you could be so tense (I have to continuously relax my shoulders). I also had to make sure that everything was neat and in order, so you may have a very strict way that you want something to pan out which is keeping things hidden. There has been a theme that has risen in all the decks and it was that you are keeping things hidden. You have more control over the situation than you initially believe, but if you are keeping something on the tight leash so it can jump through hoops you have previously set, you don’t get to see what it can do off the leash.

Right off the bat, I want to tell you that communication is key to reveal something that is hidden in your life. Ask the question, communicate your worries, talk to them. There is a problem that has been going on for generations and it’s the fact that people don’t communicate. Things go a lot smoother, most likely in your favor, if you just ask.

Now, what is hidden isn’t really being told to me. I believe that it is different for everyone but I think your guides, here, want you to learn the beautiful tool of communication. Maybe that is what is truly hidden: the tool of communication.

There are a few scenarios that I can kind of pick up on though. If this has to do with a romantic partner or a potential partner, you may have something that you have been worrying about. Whatever you have been thinking can be solved with just asking them. This could be something you already have an inkling about, but to confirm your intuition, it’s best just to ask.

Another scenario could be about a job or scoring a position somewhere (getting an art studio, getting into a certain school, wanting to partner with someone for a business project, etc). Again, it doesn’t hurt to ask. Submit those documents, submit the application, show them your portfolio, tell them about your idea. It doesn’t hurt to ask.

Whatever it is, don’t hide away and continue to torture yourself by spiralling in your own thoughts.

Taurus January - June 2025

This reading is a general reading. Not all the messages are going to resonate with everyone. However I hope it is of help to some people and shows them some direction. So here we go!!

The Lovers : Currently Taurus you might find yourself feeling attracted. Some of you might be in love with someone or some of you might be finding new interests. It can also mean that recently you have overcome some kind of trial. May be you were going through a hard time but finally you have won and the hard times have come to an end for you.

The Emperor : On one side you find yourself feeling more stable but at times you also find yourself looking for reasons to keep moving. Even though the harder part of your life has passed but it left an impact on you. But do believe Taurus that the hardships are over now.

The IX of Wands : There is something that you have been wanting. May be you had applied for some interview but it keeps getting delayed, may be you're set to be married but it keeps getting delayed. I feel like this delay in the things happening is giving you a sense of self doubts and sadness. Please know Taurus there are things we have no control over and the things we can do. Do your best at the things that you can do and leave the rest on the universe!

VII of Cups: What I get is right now you might make small achievements materialistically. These achievements might not be permanent or very big but they're yours Taurus. I think both are core here. On one hand, you might find yourself opening up about old feelings that have gone unsaid too long, while on the other, being productive and busy, getting much done. Perhaps what you're getting done will be that.

Week one blessing. | Reversed II of Swords

This card is about indecision, confusion, and hesitancy.

Sounds pretty bad, yeah? But it's a blessing, so let's see how these things can be positive.

Sometimes, our indecision saves us. It makes us wait longer before making a decision, and that waiting lets us sit on it a bit longer, or allows something new to reveal itself coming forward.

Don't be rushed to make a decision right hecking now, it's fine to let things sit a bit for this week.

Week one challenge. | Reversed VIII of Cups

This card is the "trying one more time", and is also about indecision, aimless drifting, and stagnation.

Hoo boy, a double whammy of basically the same thing.

Your blessing is your curse, however. You probably don't enjoy sitting back not making a decision right now, you probably want to make that decision right now, which is where that blessing becomes a challenge. You have to wait, you have to sit back.

Upright Key indicates an advancement. It also indicates access to information that you need.

Something has been opened for you, and it's now time to take that. You deserve to take what's been offered up to you, after all. As well, precious and vital information is available, and you should do your homework this week.

Week two blessing. | Reversed III of Pentacles

Another negative card in the blessing spot... This one is about disharmony, misalignment, working alone, a lack of cohesion and teamwork...

I think it's important here to hone into the "lack of cohesion and teamwork". You're doing this alone, and that's for the best right now. It would be nice to have people on your side, yes, but you're also just as capable alone. This may open up an opportunity for you that you need to tap into.

Week two challenge. | Reversed IV of Wands

Another card that's so similar! Wrow! Anyways, this is the conflict with others card, inner harmony and transition, a lack of support.

Yeah, it does suck butt to do it alone, though. That's your challenge - Doing it alone. It may even be hard to trust your own skills right now, and instead feels more like you can't manage it all on your own. The change into doing it alone is hard.

Week three. | Reversed Horseshoe

So, to understand reversed horseshoe, I need to quickly explain that this is an bonkers auspicious card. Like "incredible luck". Reversed, it's not the reverse, it's not bad luck, but rather just less of that incredibly high luck, but still a good omen nonetheless.

Something very lucky will happen this week! Congrats!

Week three blessing. | Upright IX of Pentacles

This is another auspicious card. It's abundance, luxury, self-sufficiency, rewarded efforts... success in general.

Whatever you've been working on the past few weeks will come to at least partial fruition, if it's not complete, and full fruition if it is. It will bring you something wonderful and good, and that's a yay!

Week three challenge. | Reversed VI the Lovers

Now, this card usually speaks about others, but I think it's more about your relationship with yourself. It's self-love, disharmony, imbalance...

You might not feel like you've earned the good things come your way now. After all, you went through so much to get here in the first place, and that wasn't a pleasant journey. It's hard to feel good about yourself after you had to get dragged through it.

Week four. | Upright Bear Claw

Upright, Bear Claw asks you to focus on healing. It asks you to ask yourself "Where do I feel hurt, both physically and emotionally?"

I presume that this week will have a lot of healing after all the stuff you endured the past few weeks. Lots of need for resting up, lots of need for getting better and recuperating after it all.

Week four blessing. | Upright XIII Death

Ahh, Death. The card of changing, the card of endings, metamorphosis, transition, letting go.

Whatever you've gone through, it changed you a bit, or maybe a lot. And that's a good thing. We all need to change with time, we all go through our own personal metamorphosis, constantly and unendingly. Like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly, passing on, and being reincarnated into yet another caterpillar who becomes a butterfly, so on and so forth.

Week four challenge. | Upright III of Cups

This card speaks of celebration, friendship, collaborations!

As a challenge, it rings mostly to me that you're gonna just feel icky about the people who left you out to dry. It's a normal thing to feel in this case, after all, and maybe some time will be needed to mend that relationship, or let it pass on if you can.

Sane analysis of the descriptions of the two recent Myriad Celestia Trailers featuring Acheron. Below annotated are the description for the Acheron and Black Swan Dance video, and the Acheron backstory video:

The dual planets were intertwined in each other's tragic destiny, dancing an eternal rondo around a pitch-black great sun. In the beginning, one of the planets gave rise to humans. These people looked down, and named the land below "Izumo." These people looked up, and named the world above "Takamagahara."[1] One day uninscribed in the annals, the Yaoyorozu-no-kami descended from Takamagahara. These demonic beasts named Kami overturned the skies, burned the rivers and oceans, and shattered the land — People realized in horror that it was not an invasion for rulership, dominance, or plunder. The evil Kami came only to kill. As the planet stood on the brink of death, Izumo embarked on a Kami-slaying journey, exhausting the might of the entire country to slay the calamity "Sovereign of Revelation" and forging the very first Edict Edge using its bestial body. Giving the Kami a taste of their own medicine, the wielder of these swords can recite the mantra contained within the blade to master the divine power of Takamagahara, and use it to combat the evil Kami and save the masses.[2] From then on, Izumo started its long and arduous crusade, exchanging inordinate lives lost for the fall of one Kami after another, shattering countless mortal blades to forge the twelve Sentinels. In the merciless fight for survival, Izumo used the might of the Edict Edges to light up their uncivilized world of darkness in less than ten Amber Eras, building cities of dazzling neon lights. That distant Takama Divine Realm, once so far away, became so close within their reach — Yet history suddenly stopped there.[3] The existence of the two planets instantly evaporated, disappearing into nothingness. Nowadays, the past of the border planet Izumo can only be gleaned from the scattered whispers in the universe. Academics hold various views regarding its disappearance, but none can solve the mystery. Izumo's history should have been a long flowing river, but it was severed in one cut, and all its past and future voided on emptiness' other shore. Did it never exist, and was it no more than a fabricated story? Did its histories never occur, and it ran aground on the beach of reverse causation? Was it yet another appalling experiment by Dr. Primitive, or was it a sign of the Voracity returning from the end of the Cosmos? Only that pitch-black great sun knows the answer, yet THEY remain silent, never speaking.[1.1] Because everything that had happened will one day regress to the end, and everything that had ended is guaranteed to happen again. The universe undergoes an eternal recurrence under THEIR shadow,[1.2] and Izumo is nothing more than the footnote for an ellipsis.

Notes:

[1]. Dual planets Izumo and Takamagahara part of a system whose star is a black sun. Izumo is the one with humans.

[1.1]. The black sun can be inferred to be IX, what with the capitalized THEY being used exclusively for Aeons, and the black sun being a black hole as the one we see Black Swan get traumatized by in the dancing video.

[1.2] However? Universe undergoes an eternal recurrence under IX's shadow? Not implausible, given that the total annihilations of the honkai might attract IX. But the recurrence part is what gives me pause. If IX thinks all is hopeless, why eternally occur?

Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters makes reference to an Orkron. We can rule Izumo out, so could this be the endonym of Takamagahara?

Perhaps unrelated, but the duel planet setup reminds me of LeGuin's The Dispossessed. But there one of the planets is actually a moon (I don't know how celestial bodies are classified). Just a parallel.

Black Dwarfs are theorized to exist. These would not be black holes though, merely burnt out 'normal' suns.

[2]. Yaoyorozu-no-kami, or simply Kami, described as demonic beasts, suddenly descended upon Izumo. Izumo is also the name of the person who forged the weapons that can kill the Kami. Can be inferred that the Kami are Honkai, through the Herrscher connections below. Honkai have different names across worlds: https://x.com/No9ah10_/status/1771043024904007706

Izumo slayed "the calamity 'Sovereign of Revelation' and forging the very first Edict Edge using its bestial body," implying a connection between Herrschers and the weapons forged from their cores. Sovereign = Herrscher, Edict Edge = Divine Weapon. This connection is further corroborated by the second video and description.

[3]. 'Uncivilized' is an interesting choice here, because the threat of honkai increases with the level of civilization. It's literally one of the first sentences in HI3. It is corroborated by the comics by the Pioneers, where Fu Hua specifically prevents CE exposure to PE technology for this reason. This is probably just pedantry, as civilization is relative, and the honkai has existed even during the time we would consider 'uncivilized', but it is noticeable enough to be worth pointing out.

Incredibly fast advancements in civilization could go a while without any real honkai interference, before facing a catastrophic event that instantly wipes everything out.

'World of darkness' is even more interesting. Is it metaphorical, referring to their primitiveness? Or is it literal, what with the black sun and all? This raises even more questions than it answers, but?

The dual planets were intertwined in each other's tragic destiny, and a dead song was scattered amongst the Cave Where Light Hid. The song had no beginning and no end, had no sound and no echo, came from no singer, and was heard by none. It thus uttered: Takamagahara endless like Izumo, for it was a paradise [1] perfect in its place. Yet the sky turned dark and the great sun pulled the tides [2], and the Kami left numerous trails as if migrating [3]. The Yaoyorozu no Magakami manifested and slaughtered without mercy, yet little did they expect their peerless authority to be stolen [4] and taken. Izumo broke seventy-thousand-and-thirty-three warrior's blades, forging the majestic Sentinels twelve in number.

The first was "Truth," forged with the slain Sovereign of Revelation. It allowed mortals to comprehend all laws and order, to dissect all things and to recreate miracles.

The second was "Sky," forged with the slain Eternal Zenith. It could turn the sky into walls and fortresses and pose obstacles for the Magatsu no Morokami's steps.

The third was "Howl," forged with the slain Almighty Thunder. It could summon lightning to tear the sky, and the soaring meteors and thunder dealt divine justice.

The fourth was "Mist," forged with the slain Everbreath. It could make winds break and shear the land, for gales to rage forever unceasing.

The fifth was "Frost," forged with the slain Heaven's Winter Cloak. It could freeze and still the very order of time, to create boundless frozen wastes and stretch one moment into eternity.

The sixth was "Fate," forged with the slain Spurned Sister of Mortality. It could make flowers bloom and cover barren graves, for life and death to dance in a cycle and dissipate.

The seventh was "Flare," forged with the slain Flamebringer. It could summon fires to burn down the very world, to torch the skies and to char the earth.

The eighth was "Thought," forged with the slain Wisdom Supreme. It could discern the past and future with the mirror of water, to tell truth from lies over years beyond reckoning.

The ninth was "Root," forged with the slain Father of Lands. It could command islands to float into the heavens, for mountains and valleys to burst before armies.

The tenth was "Form," forged with the slain Nether Lord. It could make the masses join in unity, for endless forms to ebb and flow as one.

The eleventh was "Bind," forged with the slain Omen Ward. It drove misfortune into a binding cage, for evil and demons to instantly vanish.

The twelfth was "Maw," forged with the slain Woes Eighty. It could corrode and age the very mortal world and make equal Kami and Oni, leaving an entity's four souls to be sundered in twain. [5]

Then the underworld was cleared out, the wars called to a halt, and the twelve blades broken and locked. In the emptiness the dead souls grew restless, and under the black sun two blades were forged as Bearers of the world's destiny.[6] One was named "Origin" and the other named "End," for all begun with humanity and shall end with Oni-kind. The sounds of lamentation ceased, and the dead flowers rose and fell. The losers returned to the void, and the winners… became null. The hobbling monk sang the song without a tune, for those who hold the power of Kami are walking backwards, towards divinity. Witnessed by the great sun, the land once named Izumo became completely devoid… of humans, Oni, and Kami.

Notes:

[1]. Takamagahara is described as a paradise, but also the place from with the Kami descended.

A once propsering civilization resided there, soon wiped out form the Honkai? Which then 'migrated' to Izumo?

[2]. This sentence I cannot make sense of.

Did the sky going black mean that the sun also went black, assuming it might not have always been so?

What tides did it pull? Did the star collapse into a black hole?

[3]. Left trails as if migrating is also a complete mystery.

Why 'as if' migrating? Why not migrating? Did they leave Takama, or enter Izumo, or leave entirely? The following sentence implies that they came to Izumo, but still.

[4]. Authority is a word very specifically used to refer to the power that the Herrschers wield. This paired with the direct parallels between the 12 swords and the 12 Herrschers, make a very good case that the Sovereigns are Herrschers, albeit not ones fighting for humanity.

[6]. 77,033 mortal blades -> 12 Sentinels -> 2 Bearers -> 1(?)

After the Bearers are forged, mention of "The world forged 77, 047 blades, but only one could save Izumo." That's 77,033 + 12 + 2 and a new blade. The final one. 'Naught' referred in the subtitles as 'Life'.

According to this comment, the mortal blade number is a reference to the Herrschers from GGZ: @duchong6213 If you listen closely, you can hear Honkai World Diva at 1:30 (dramatic ver.) 3:07 (slow ver.) "Izumo have 70,033 blades (ref GGZ total herrschers) and from them, they forged it again to make 12 Sentinel sword (ref HI3rd 13 Herrschers)." Cannot confirm, found referenced up until the 70th herrscher

From [2:48] and onwards:

Takama was surely as beautify as Izumo (before the Kami descended.)

Origin and End break each other.

Izumo forged these blades 'because of a lie. An end that never existed.'

Then she slashed the black sun with Naught, horns disappearing (oni-fication stopped?)

Possibly when she became an Emanator?

The slash from Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters and the slash here seem to be one and the same, further pointing to the fact that the black sun is IX. Then again, it might be a different one? Acheron can slash more than one black hole.

Questions remaining:

"Galaxy Ranger? No, I've made a grave mistake." Absolutely zero mention of Galaxy Ranger-dom in either account of Acheron's past.

The girl that tried to shoot her and presumably stood shoulder to shoulder with, thought…

However, Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters violently implies that Acheron's companion is Frebass (actually, it implies that Frebass' companion is Acheron, but I digress.) Frebass is a Nameless, so it's not a case of 'picking up the title of a dead friend'. They only journeyed for 30 days, so it might be a different companion.

WHO IS ACHERON AN EMANATOR OF????????? Torn between what everyone else is torn between: Finality and Nihility.

Pile One

Four of Swords (Reversed) - The Emperor - Judgement (Reversed)

The thing that strikes me most about this reading is the combination of the IV of Swords reversed and the reversed Judgement card. The IV of Swords in the reversed position is about being all burnt out. You want to carry on, but you’re too exhausted. The Judgement card, when upright, is about revival and awakening. But here, it’s also reversed, suggesting that the figure in the IV of Swords can’t be awoken, or is refusing to be.

So what does the Emperor have to do with this? The Emperor is an authoritative father figure, and among the roles he plays is that of a courageous protector. He’s standing between the person attempting to rest in the IV of Swords and the figure of Judgement, as if to say, “not yet.”

You might be restless and waiting for the next stage in your life to begin, but if you haven’t had time to rest and process what’s happened in this one, whatever comes next will be a false start. Protect yourself from burning yourself out further by not taking on any new responsibilities or projects - in your personal life as well as work or school - where you don’t have to. Put up firm boundaries with others to make sure your downtime is respected, and stick to them. Wait until you actually feel rested before you try to make any big changes to your life, so that they’ll have a good chance of succeeding.

Pile Two

Justice (Reversed) - Temperance (Reversed) - The Wheel of Fortune

Okay, so that’s a lot of major arcana cards! There’s been some major injustice that’s either happened to you or that you’ve been witness to… one serious enough to have potential legal consequences. The combination of the reversed Justice card and the reversed Temperance card suggests that it’s likely some form of corruption. However, it could also refer to a failure of impulse control on the part of the person responsible for the injustice, such as being abusive to others out of anger. These two cards together also indicate that the people who should be restoring the balance and holding the wrongdoer accountable aren’t doing so.

The Wheel of Fortune card provides reassurance that this situation won’t continue on indefinitely, and that the perpetrator’s luck will soon run out. Specifically, as shown by the blindfolded figure steering the wheel in the card, the person responsible will do something reckless that finally turns the tide. Justice might not be done perfectly at the end of the day, and things may not be set back to how they were, but the cause of the harm will be dealt with so that it can continue.

This isn’t to say that you shouldn’t keep sounding the alarm on what’s going on, either as a survivor or a whistleblower. If nothing else, it will rattle the wrongdoer into being careless, and keep them on others’ radar enough that when they do make a giant mistake, it’ll be noticed. Keep yourself safe first and foremost, though - the presence of three major arcana cards suggests that the stakes are high here! You may want to talk to a lawyer depending on the situation and its fallout, whether it’s to sue for the harm you’ve experienced or to protect yourself against retaliation. You will come out of this better off than the wrongdoer, but expect it to feel incomplete and not as satisfying as you’d hoped.

Pile Three

The Devil - III of Wands - IX of Wands (Reversed)

Here, the figure in the III of Wands is turning their back on the Devil as they start off on an adventure. They not only intend to make a clean break with their past habits and patterns, but they’re ready to do so. This figure is you, so, congratulations!

Of course, there’s a reason you fell into the patterns you had before beginning your recovery journey. They were safe, in a way. They were familiar, or even enjoyable at times. Whatever you were trying to escape from or resolve through them is still there, and just as hard to deal with as it was before.

As shown through the reversed IX of Wands, you may relapse or fall back into repeating old cycles in times when you’re in too much pain or see no way out of your situation. It might happen more than once, even more than a few times. It’s not ideal, but when you’re ready, you can go back to starting out again as seen in the III of Wands. You might need to take more time to think about how you’re going to more effectively avoid or respond to triggers. Also, maybe don’t go it alone this time, if you’re already picking yourself back up - that way you’ll have someone to support you when it starts to feel like too much. It doesn’t make you a burden - the people in your life, especially those who care about you, are much better off with you doing well.
