I feel like half the reylo fandom jumped into oshamir, while the other half is watching from the side lines, waiting to see how badly we get burned for being fools to trust sw with etl ships again T-T
manny knows about reylo? the hand holding scene was his idea?? we almost had an oshamir kiss?! qimir and vernestra had a relationship that mirrored osha and sol’s and he is afraid of her??? leslye headland in the earlier drafts had the stranger referencing coppola bram stoker’s dracula saying “i have crossed oceans of time to find you” also saying “they [osha/qimir] are not necessarily doomed or destined to fail as a team” also saying she had “to find somebody who could play all four characters - buffoon, murderer, a gentle teacher, and then as a romantic lead” and that she wants to “give the people what they want”??! i’m sorry, i’m trying to process a tremendous amount of insane information from all these interviews. i don’t know what to do with all this openness and validation
Every time I have seen a post tagged "I know I'm kicking a hornet's nest with this one", it has turned out to be the most timid, milquetoast take I've ever seen and the notes are just full of people saying they agree. If you're going to kick a hornet's nest actually kick a hornet's nest, you cowards. Tell me Reylo is good actually or something at least.
Hoooooooo boy once I get the hang of animating again and stop being the slowest and most easily distracted artist on the face of the earth it’s OVER for the Reylos 😤
[...] 'The Acolyte is “not just vindication but it specifically feels like a response to the Sequels along the lines of my aforementioned criticisms. It feels like Headland saying, ‘that sucked, here’s how I’d have done it’.” She continued, “Of course, if you’re a Reylo it feels like you’re finally free after being gaslit for a decade…of being told by both antis and affirmative fans alike that we were being weird, reading too much into it, projecting our own immoral fantasies, etc. it means a lot.”
