inspired by the bloodborne aesthetic just because

The Mother was the first Hunter and used the Cauldron to bless the weapons she used against monsters (in verse lore is that she was so distraught over the plague of monsters that killed her family that her tears are what is used in the Cauldron)

Hunters use Cauldron Blessed ash wood, iron, and tears as weapons

Also Tamlin uses iron knuckles as his main weapon and also has a rosary that his mother made him (it's made from rose petals soaked in the Cauldron and made into iron beads)

Tamlin and Feyre have a platonic and familial dynamic here

Veteran Hunter Tamlin and his partner Feyre come across a brothel where an succubus is said to have killed a few patrons (yay, murder mystery)

There they meet Amren, the madam of the brothel and its revealed that the succubus is actually an imposter who took the appearance of one of her friends

As they investigate, the trail leads them back to Feyre's old village, Lundis, and slowly uncover who the succubus is

Slowly yet surely it's revealed that the succubus was hunted down by someone else who leaves two mark on their victims: a vampire bite and a sigil of flames burned onto the skin

Now Feyre and Tamlin are hunting down the infamous hunter vampire

They retrace their steps back to the brothel and find both Nesta and Rhys there

Immediately, Tamlin finds this annoying because Rhysand is involved and it can never be a good thing when he's around

The tamsand dynamic here is just Tamlin trying to swat away vampire Rhys while Rhys keeps on trying to get werewolf Tamlin to erotically maul him

Anyway

Feyre finds Rhysand annoying, but she's trying to understand why Nesta is here and interrogates her which gets them nowhere

Story and more plot happens but basically

Amarantha is trying to amass a monster army so that they will no longer be hunted down (main plot whoo)

Amren is an incubus that slowly seduces Feyre

Rhys and Tamlin are definitely into blood kink

Also

Papa Archeron was a Priest of the High Order and was accused of committing sacrilege with a vampire (Mama Archeron) when he just hid her identity as a vampire after she got turned in an attack

She's later discovered and burnt at the stake and Papa Archeron goes on the run with his family

He leaves them in the care of a family friend, the Hales, a rich noble family, and leaves them so that they aren't in danger

Elain becomes a Preistess where she works at the High Order and goes out onto the field (AKA witch Elain equivalent)

Nesta goes into becoming a Lady-in-Waiting for the Countess Violet Vanserra, whose original name is Sumire

Feyre joins the High Order as a Hunter and partners with Tamlin

It's later revealed that Nesta helped the Countess kill her husband and that the Hunter vampire is actually Nesta because she was turned as a child by her mother

Tamlin is also the biological child of the Mother and is the first werewolf, but uh, yeah the Mother actually cried for her monster children not the other way around

Also yōkai exist

LoA was born to a kistune and kijimunā, and she's neither a divine fox or a malicious one

She later saves Beron’s life and marries him, and they return to his home where she raises his other five children from his previous wife

Only Eris and Lucien are her children and they have traits of kitsune

Beron later becomes wary and paranoid of her and thinks she's either possessed by some phantom or has become a monster, so her mistreats her

This later leads into the downfall of the Vanserra family and his children by them being possessed by fox spirits (also his children except two aren't good people, they murdered Eris, anyway)

Also, she sends Lucien back to her homeland after Eris's death so he can be safe and she plots with Nesta to kill Beron

She stays behind to raise the other two children so they can inherit their father's title and she decides to watch other them for a few centuries before joining her other children in her homeland

"He can't be a fox and a werewolf, Scott. It's the only way to get the Nogitsune out of Stiles. We need to distract him long enough for you to. . ."

"How are we supposed to do that?" Scott cut Deaton off.

"Kira," I said, finally speaking up. I bit my lip as everyone looked at me. "What. . . How does the. . . Can you retell me the history of the Nogitsune?"

"Y/N, where are you. . ."

"Just trust me," I cut Scott off. "Kira?"

She hesitated before sighing. "Well, the Nogitsune was first summoned by a Kitsune named, Noshiko Yukimura in 1943 in an attempt to gain her revenge on the soldiers at the Oak Creek Internment Camp during WWII. Instead of inhabiting her, as she had prayed, it inhabited the bandage-wrapped dead body of her lover, Corporal Rhys. He then killed everyone at the prison camp and the hospital where Ryhs died, which is now Eichen House."

Before she could finish telling us the history, I quickly stood up and left the animal hospital. I started pacing outside as a plan formed.

"Y/N?"

I turned to see Lydia, Scott, and Kira jogging outside towards me. "Give me a second," I shushed them before they could keep talking. "I almost have a plan. . . We need to get the Nogitsune out of Stiles. In order to do that, we need a way to briefly pull them apart. . . A trigger. We need a way to. . ."

My eyes widened when I figured it out. I turned around, nervously biting my lip. "Scott, I have a plan. Yes, it's crazy. No, we don't have time to think of something else."

"What is it?" He smiled at me.

"I need you to set a trap for Stiles."

                        * * * * *

I hesitated outside Scott's house. He and Deaton had somehow trapped the Nogitsune, paralyzed him, and got him to Scott's house. The door opened, a smiling Lydia in the doorway.

"We're ready when you are," she smiled. I nodded, taking a shaky breath. "Are you ready?"

I shook my head, tears building up. She stepped forward and wrapped her arms around me. "It's going to be okay," she whispered. "We're going to get him back."

We pulled out of the hug, both of us taking a shaky breath. She hesitated before grabbing my hand. "I'm gonna be here for you. I promise."

We walked inside, my breath instantly getting stuck in my throat when I saw him. I froze when I saw Stiles sitting on the couch, a piece of duct tape over his mouth.

"I'm right here," Lydia whispered as she squeezed my hand.

"Okay, Y/N," Scott said as he walked over to me. "We got him here. Now what?"

"Now, I need you guys not to do anything."

With wide nervous eyes, they stepped back. Scott nodded as he signaled for me to go ahead and do what I needed. I hesitated before stepping towards Stiles.

I took a shaky breath as I knelt in front of him. I slowly reached forward and cupped his cheeks in my hands. "Hi, baby," I said shakily as I stared at my boyfriend. "Please come back to me."

I stood back up and walked over to Kira. Her eyes widened as I grabbed her sword from her. "What are you. . ." She stuttered. I shook my head before turning around and walking back over to Stiles.

"I know you're still in there," I said shakily. "And I think you just need a kick."

"Y/N, what are you doing?" Scott said with panic in his voice as I unsheathed the sword.

"Whatever it takes to save him," I said as tears started streaming down my cheeks. I positioned the sword, pressing the end to my stomach.

"Y/N, stop."

"What are you doing?"

"This is crazy."

"You don't have to do this."

"Yes, I do," I said, looking over my shoulder at my nervous friends. "This whole thing started because Noshiko Yukimura's love of her life was killed. The only way for this to end is the same."

"Y/N, stop," Scott said sternly. "Don't do this."

"I have to," I whispered as tears continued streaming down my cheeks. "I can't stand to watch him. . . I have to do this, Scott."

I was about to push the sword into my stomach when Scott jumped forward and grabbed my hand, stopping me.

"Y/N, stop. Please," he whispered. "We'll find another way."

"Don't you get it?" I asked, my voice breaking. "We don't have a choice, Scott. I can't lose him. I. . . I love him."

"I know," he said, slowly pulling the sword out of my hands. He handed it back to Kira without looking away from me. "I know how much you love him and I know how much he loves you."

"What else can we do?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. "I just. . . I just want him back."

As a sob got stuck in my throat, Scott pulled me into his chest. He rubbed circles on my back as I cried into his arms. With Scott's arms still wrapped around me, I looked over at Stiles. Or what's left of him anyway. I looked up at Scott before pulling away from him and walking back towards Stiles.

I knelt in front of him and pulled the duct tape from his lips. "I know you're still in there," I whispered. "Please, Stiles. Please come back to me."

Suddenly, Stiles jumped forward, his hands wrapping around my neck. He pressed me against the wall, choking the life out of me. I saw my friends behind me hesitate. I caught Scott's gaze and shook my head, telling him this is what needed to happen.

I looked into Stiles's eyes, searching for the love of my life. "Stiles," I gasped. "I know you're in there, baby. Just keep. . . Fight him. . . Please, Stiles."

My breath got stuck in my throat as his grip tightened. "Stiles," I begged. "I love you."

The look in Stiles's eyes suddenly changed and his grip loosened. "Y/N?" He whispered.

"Baby," I said a tear slid down my cheek.

Stiles gasped as he let me go and took a step back. I fell to the ground, gasping for air. I looked up as Scott ran over to me. He rubbed my back as we looked up at Stiles who had randomly started coughing. I cringed as he started pulling gauze out of his mouth.

From the pile of gauze on the floor, there came a gasping sound. Scott left me as he started moving the gauze. I gasped as Stiles suddenly appeared under the gauze.

"Stiles," I stuttered. I ran over and knelt on the other side of him. Scott and I helped unwrap him. He looked between Scott and me, his eyes wide.

"Scott? Y/N?"

I choked on a sob as I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him into my chest. I heard Stiles take a shaky breath as he wrapped his arms around me.

"I'm sorry," he whispered. "For everything. I didn't. . . I tried to stop him."

"I know, baby." I pulled out of the hug and cupped his cheeks in my hands. "I know."

I moved his hair out of his face before leaning down and pressing my lips to his. He didn't hesitate to kiss me back. He was the first to pull away, leaning his forehead against mine.

"I'm so sorry, Y/N," he whispered. "I love you."

"I love you too, Stiles."

"Still?" He asked, pulling away from me. My heart sank as he avoided my gaze, glancing at the pack, before looking back up at me. "I remember everything he's done, everything he's made me do, and I. . ."

"Stiles," I cut him off. "You are our best friend. You didn't do anything. He did it all. Of course I still love you."

"I don't know what I would do if you guys hated me," Stiles stuttered.

"We don't hate you, Stiles," Scott sighed as he reached over and put his hand on Stiles's shoulder. "Y/N's right. You're our best friend. We've got your back."

"Really?" Stiles's voice got caught in his throat. I reached over and gently grabbed his chin, making him look at me. I leaned in a pressed my lips to his in a soft kiss before pulling away.

"Really."

I don’t think I ever posted this on here but a couple of weeks back I was thinking of the Nogitsune and abt how much I wish we would have seen an older form of it.

Like, in the show the forms we see are: void stiles, bandage boy Rhys, and a fly and imo for an ancient Japanese fox chaos spirit I don’t think the fly being its final “true” form fits. So I sketched up a concept of what a more primal/true form for the nogitsune could have been. Like, kinda thinking of the spectral fox that surrounds Kira but more shadowy and it uses a kitsune mask to present a “face” of sorts. I also think that it would still have big sharp teeth bc that’s dope

Noshiko?

How I feel about this character

I adore Noshiko so much. She's such a badass. And also hot. And brings up so many questions about Kitsune. I have several thoughts about the fact that she appears to age only in modern day- some about the passing of the kitsune/kitsune powers in a mother-daughter kind of thing and some about her aging having to do with a maturity she has only been able to achieve after the Rhys/Nogitsune experience.

I am high key obsessed with this flash of fear on her face in Time of Death when Kira basically says if she doesn't help, they'll do it without her. I love her relationship with Ken. Someone who is better at history than I am should write me a 100k story about Noshiko's life.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Kira. They have such a good relationship, even with the tumultuousness of Kira learning her mom is a 900-year-old trickster spirit. The bit where imagination Noshiko is telling Kira that crying is no measure of her strength just compared to imagination Victoria telling Allison to stop crying gets to me every time I rewatch either scene.

I really think Kira is probably Noshiko's only child and that the way she relates to her is affected by this. I need so much more about Noshiko. That is all.

One thing I wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon.

A modern-day onscreen interaction with Satomi Ito. It would have been so good.

After hearing from Malia about what she and Stiles found before he disappeared, we headed to Kira, as the items that appeared seem tied to her family. After showing her the evidence, circumstance brought us to the school to meet with her parents, who finally decided to tell us the truth.

The picture that was found at Eichen house, if wasn’t of an ancestor of Kira’s, it was Kira’s mother. She then showed us the blade that was found, and how it was broken into pieces. It was last used in 1943, against a nogitsune, in Oak Creek.

It was then revealed that Oak Creek was an internment camp that was erased from history. The nogitsune. It was created by Noshiko. She then recalled a story about how she was in love with an Np named Rhys. He helped the Japanese-Americans live with a better quality of life.

Scott thought that Noshiko was stalling for the Oni, but the woman was sure that Stiles was gone. The only way to defeat the nogitsune was to eliminate him.

Noshiko then went on to prove that she could heal, that neither she nor Kira would ever get sick and went on to retell the wave of pneumonia that hit Oak Creek. The camp doctor was selling a crucial medicine on the black market for profit and without it, people were dying. And as such, the people decided to fight back, resulting in a riot that revealed Satomi’s true nature and she lost control.

Rhys suffered the consequences of Satomi’s anger and so did the rest of the residents at Oak Creek. Rhys died in agony and Noshiko almost died but, during her trip to the graveyard she called upon her ancestors for a nogitsune to enact revenge. Instead of possessing Noshiko, however, it possessed Rhys.

It did exactly what it was called upon to do. By the time Noshiko had enough energy to make it back to camp, she saw the destruction that was caused. She had to put a stop to him, and in doing so, broke her sword into pieces.

Taking the demon out of Rhys shattered the sword, but we needed a bolt of lightning to piece it back together. Kira, who happened to be a thunder kitsune, was uneasy, but finished the job easily.

Noshiko then gave the sword to Kira, telling her that the power was hers now, only she had the power to defeat the nogitsune. The couple was sure that the only way to succeed was to kill Stiles.

Scott then got a text on his phone and slightly turned the screen for me to see.

With that, my hand was gently guided out the door and away from the conversation.

“Stop!” I yelled out racing into the room and placing my hand on Argent’s gun to point it towards the ground.

“Can’t you see this is what it wants?” I snapped my head towards the boy.

“Strife, chaos, and pain, right?” I tried hard to keep my face neutral.

“Now that’s not fair Lillian” The nogitsune smirked slightly.

“Don’t get into my head like that” I made a face in reply.

“And that’s not exactly what I want” He admitted, then told us that he lured us here to protect him from the Oni, who just now decided to show up.

Argent, Allison, Derek, and my dad all formed a square around Stiles, trying to protect him from the Oni. I stood in the center with the boy, assuring myself as a second line of defence.

“You’re lucky you know” Stiles spoke amongst the fighting.

“Well” He paused.

“I’m lucky, I guess” He moved closer to me.

“Because you were adopted” He smirked and I felt his breath fan my face, before he grabbed me by my neck and threw me against a pillar before disappearing, along with the Oni.

It was then that Scott and Kira finally showed up and rushed into the room. I slowly pushed myself to stand, and by the time I was halfway up, warm hands were already there, carrying part of my weight.

“You okay?” The boy kept one hand supporting me by my arm while brushing my hair back to check my neck and collarbone, sensing what had happened just moments before. I nodded at his worrying eyes, making sure to flash him a small smile as well.

A conversation then started about how everyone disappeared and how we weren’t sure what the outcome of this interaction was.

Derek made sure to have a short conversation with me before I left, we weren’t nearly as close as we were when we were younger, he felt like a stranger, but he still cared about me, and I him, and he told me that my connection with Stiles could be used as an advantage, but to be careful.

Kira ended up coming home with me, she didn’t want to be around her parents, feeling betrayed. Scott came home with me as well, deciding not to go against his instincts of keeping his mate close by.

It was a weird predicament, Kira was sleeping in my bed, Scott and I slept on the floor, the boy giving me all the comfort I could need. When I was asleep, however, I couldn’t do so for long.

I woke up after a short period of time, judging by the fact that it was still dark outside. I looked up at the boy underneath me and made careful moves to escape his grasp before finding myself standing inside of Stiles’ room.

Next thing I know, tears are falling down my cheeks and I’m hugging myself to keep from completely breaking down. I took one hand to cover my whimpers and closed my eyes forcefully before jumping at the sensation of touch on my shoulders.

When I opened my eyes, Scott was standing in front of me, leaning down to look me in the eyes. The two of us said nothing as I continued to sob and Scott slowly held my body, sending soft whispers in my ears.

“We’ll be okay” I don’t know how many times Scott had said this by now. I’m not even sure I believed it anymore. Or if I did in the first place.

When we awoke, I was back inside my room on the floor resting on top of Scott, who was rubbing gentle circles on my back. I looked up at him to see him already staring back at me and smiled gently.

Apparently the night before had worn all three of us out, as we had woken up in the late afternoon, and Kira wasn’t awake at all. We sat there for a few moments before I was called by Lydia.

They found Stiles.

We called Deaton and he met Aiden and Lydia at the house, giving him an inspection. He had a wound on his stomach, but it was healing, which wasn’t good for us.

Aiden wanted to tie him down, but he was instead given Kanima venom, and then Stiles teased the boy, making him worry about his twin. Scott pulled me backwards trying to keep me from getting hurt, but he was only protecting me from getting hurt physically.

Aiden left and the rest of us tried hard to think of a plan. The scroll said to change his body, but there were ethical implications of biting him as well. Scott wanted to call Derek. Lydia instead called Peter.

Peter told us that this was something that would be fixed in the mind, not the body. With this information, he pointed to Scott and said that he would be using his alpha claws to get inside Stiles’ consciousness and pull it out. He needed to take me in with him.

Scott kept asking questions as to what we should do when we find the real Stiles. Peter was very vague in his answers as he placed one of Scott’s claws behind Stiles’ neck, then behind mine. Both Scott and I were skeptical at the effectiveness of this plan, but we were running out of time.

Scott then took a deep breath and we entered Stiles’ consciousness. When we “woke up” we were strapped down to some hospital beds. I think we’re at Eichen House.

“Scott” I whispered out while struggling against the straps.

“Try to break free” I ordered. I turned to see Scott make a face, so I provided further explanation.

“I’m weak in here. I can’t use my powers, but I can feel them” I stopped struggling.

“You should be able to use yours” I nodded and pleaded him for help. He nodded slightly before mustering the strength to break free of his restraints, then rushed over to help me out of mine.

“No pain though, right?” Scott rubbed my wrist and looked towards me curiously.

“Not yet” I looked at the only door in the room. The boy made a face of disappointment before following my eyeline. He started walking forwards and gently pushed me behind him. I followed closely behind as he opened the door, but shut once he was through, thoroughly trapping me inside.

“Scott?” I tried opening the door with the handle.

“Scott!” I started banging on the door.

I turned around and was met with a familiar scene. Family day dance. Neither Stiles nor my dad showed up. I started walking forwards as I walked through the hallways, looking in to see my friends' rooms empty.

“Brett?” I yelled out as my voice echoed through the halls. I continued searching through the rooms until my sights landed on a familiar figure. My breathing became harder to control as I backed away from the nogitsune, running towards the end of the hall. 

Once I opened the doors to the main lounging area, the nogitsune was standing right in front of me. I beelined for the path behind me and avoided looking behind me to watch the creature get closer and closer. I kept going until I noticed that one of the doors were closed and as I got closer, I realized that it was my old room.

Taking a chance with fate, I turned hard to enter my old room and was met with an endless white room with pillars lining the sides and white lights all across the ceiling.

I kept looking around me until I noticed that Scott ran up next to me. We both gave each other a once over before noticing Scott sitting across the room. He was playing a game with the nogitsune.

The boy gave me a subtle nod before we both started running towards the two. After making no progress, I remembered that Stiles was technically a part of Scott’s pack. His best friend. How do pack members signal their locations to each other? They roar. And that’s what Scott did.

Stiles immediately noticed the two of us and ended his game with the nogitsune making Scott and I wake up with a gasp. I grabbed the back of my neck as I stood up and a familiar boy gave me another once over, this time in person.

I watched Peter pull Lydia away and Scott noticed that my attention was elsewhere. He questioned their conversation but was ignored until Stiles suddenly became alert and started pulling medical wrap out of his mouth until it was a pile on the floor.

A hand reached out from the pile and started to emerge from the floor, all of us backed away until it was all the way out, and Scott and Peter fought to restrain him, until we peeled back the wrap and noticed that it was Stiles. The real Stiles. The nogitsune, he was gone and he took Lydia with him.

-New Commissions: ---Female Draki not wearing Maid Outfits Examine. Will be an assignment in a future update. ---Kitsune slaves that aren't Heal Sluts, High Elf Futanari, and Amazon Futanari Examines using various versions of a commission that has another version that will be an assignment in a future update. -The Armour Bug: ---Trying something out, and so now armour and clothing will both be found under Restraints, Clothing, and Armour so they're no longer split like they were before which I'm hoping will solve the problem. I've also removed the count check which I suspect might have been part of the problem. -Miscellaneous additions: ---When I was testing Fiendish I decided to make it so that Succubi, Dark Elves, Abyss Troll, Quintari, Horned Ones, Golems, and Night Goblins are a bit more likely to start with Sadist as some of them didn't have any Sadist in their base packages at all and for others they didn't have enough as it was before. I've also added the rare chance of Fiendish, and the somewhat rare chance of Sadist to Fallen though not if they're Bimbos. ---Updated the starting basic clothing options for Centaurs, Gorgons, and Harpies so they'll less often be naked. ---Player Gorgons now always have Perceptive and Terrifying even after going through Full Custom. ---The Gorgon Promoted Slaver (TF Edition only) will now start as Feminine as standard and will have the usual Feminine options on Full Custom. ---Harpies will no longer be offered gloves as accessories to buy at the Ensnared Rose. ---Heal Sluts have been told to stop interfering with Rynhart's 'recharging'. ---Added a lore page for Alison Graye. ---Goblins and Hakh on the taller side who would have got a custom generated outfit will now get a regular size instead of a Goblin style one. ---Improved the odds on the Golem start aspect Embodiment of Warfare. ---Neko wear now includes fingerless mittens. ---The Ooze Caller is now calling all oozes even more than they were before with the added trait Leader (Lea) and an improved aspect. -Bug fixes: ---Fix for Lesson in Futility being the only Ensnared Rose assignment that when expiring would clear the active task and increase your debt. -New Assignments: ---A new Uncommon City of Aversol Assignment which is effectively the upgraded version of Pillow Talk. Has three versions of a commission generously provided by a patron. Has submissive specific text of course given the theme, but can also be done as fully dominant not counting the Disaster, cause y'know it's the Disaster. As part of the work on this new Assignment I've expanded and improved the Pillow Talk intro. Mainly to reflect why you don't get extra gold by going yourself as the old intro implied the slaver going kept most of the gold they earned there. Also now has an alternate version if you're a Puppet Leader, and another if you're Possessed. The Pillow Talk Critical Success text has also been updated, including making the subby ones more subby, the dominant result more dominant, and now will generate the new Assignment rather than a Pillow Talk repeat. On the new assignment and on Pillow Talk, if the slaver is one who would always obey you in respect checks due to their trait, being a specific unique, or the scenario they will earn the same bonus gold, as if you had gone while having the best trait bonuses. So that's Submissive without Sex Addict on the Critical Success (Submissive and Sex Addict is a bonus on that result but a lower one) and Submissive on the Success. Has been added to the Artful Whore Aspect and the Festival of the Light Event. ---A new Standard City of Aversol Assignment which is a new way to purchase supplies. Has a SFW landscape commission generously funded by a patron. Can provide supplies even on a Failure. On all results apart from Disaster there's one of six different events that can happen which are affected for the better or worse by the quality of the result, whether you went, traits, races, and even one of the scenarios. Plan is to expand this with more events in later updates. ---A new Rare City of Aversol Assignment which is the longest assignment to date. The actual Assignment is not that long, however if you Critical or Success it extends to over thirty days with rewards to make it worth your while. Has a commission with two variants generously provided by a patron. Potentially can get a Unique slaver with a new aspect. ---A new Common Deep Mountains Assignment which is similar to A Corner of their Very Own but Slavers (and You) can be sent in the Slave role. Uses the commission for Forest Goblin slaves. Has been added to the Artful Whore Aspect. ---A new Standard [Unlockable Region] Assignment which might be one of the mechanically different Assignments I've done. Reason being is it doesn't use the existing Assignment mechanics at all, and instead has a specific way of seeing how well you do on a variety of different factors. Has a commission generously provided by a patron. ---A new Rare Dreadsea Coast Assignment which is based around an outside of the ordinary Fae. Has a commission generously provided by a patron. Potentially can get a Unique slaver with a new Enchanted Item. ---A new Special Great Plains Assignment which is the third part of Temple Takeover. Has a commission generously funded by a patron. Can improve the existing Unique slaver from the previous part with a new Aspect. Can reward a special Encampment Upgrade, which is improved if you used the Unique slaver. Will also be used for Lamia slavers with Sneaky (Sne). Also used with a zoomed in version for both Sea Elf and Savage Orc slavers (those with Magic:Corruption or Depraved will still use the Profane Ritual one). There was also a nice variation for the Sea Elf with a tattoo that I didn't think worked with the whole piece and so instead have used it to replace the Promoted Sea Elf portrait. That's had an updated description to reflect that. ---Cutprice Roses. ---Vicarage Tarts. ---Succubus Futanari Examine (an update to the Hold back the Dark commission). ---A Truly Scandalous Affair. When you don't have the Semi-Unique Lago'Mae that starts the Biomancy storyline yet the new art with her will be used. If not, the existing artwork will be used. Then on a Critical Success where you would get the Semi-Unique you'll get the alternate version with her being enslaved that will also be used for the unique Lago'Mae's Examine art. Any other result, then the existing artwork will be used. ---Nest of Vipers. Also used for Lamia slavers (replacing the Marshlands one which will be used for that specific encounter when that is a thing), and the Coastal Caves Critical Success. Will also be used for Lamia players or those with Lamia heritage during Nightly Activity Hypnotizing or Respect Checks using the Hypnotise option. ---Encampment Upgrade Centaur Outrider. Includes variations for each of her three upgrades. For now will be used for buying Encampment Upgrades in general until I get more done with the exception of expanding the encampment/pit which will use the existing Encampment art (or golem ones if playing that scenario). -Maid Training: ---New Basic and Advanced Training. Has commissions for both parts which has been used before for Lago'Mae wearing a Maid outfit. ---Camp Bitches with either Maid Training will find extra supplies. Those who have the Advanced Maid Training will also be more likely to find supplies. ---Basic will apply a Maid outfit if the slave is not wearing one like Ponygirl training. Will get a better one on a Critical Success. Advanced will also apply a Maid Outfit has been removed since Basic has been done which will be sluttier. ---Basic can be done without losing Innocent (Inn), and has some extra text on the Critical Success result to reflect this. ---Basic has a different Disaster if you are doing it with a different negative outcome. -Gorgons: ---New race, available as all possible genders. Can be played (with Fav/Unf specific to them), can be slavers, and can also be slaves. ---Uses an alternate version of the Artistry in Flesh commission for Females and the Promoted Slaver portrait. ---For the regular starting portraits, the Futanari and Male examines, and for different permutations of sexytimes with different genders there's a whopping eight different versions. The examines will also vary between the cum/non-cum on Female versions. ---Artistry in Flesh has been overhauled with some re-writing to the existing text. Now has an alternate version which you will need to go on yourself to be able to unlock Gorgons as a race. After that has been done they'll begin to appear like any other of the rarer races. Or you can start as one where they will automatically be available, but then the Artistry in Flesh Assignment will not be available for that playthrough. ---Can petrify or unpetrify a slave in the same way as a Petrification Potion. This can be done once a day via an option on Make Use of for Gorgon slavers, and as a Personal Assignment if you're playing one yourself. ---Have a new powerful racial, which doesn't just include their petrification abilities, and of course also a new lore page for the race. -Fel Tainted Rework: ---The trait now has a ranking of (0) to (5) from no negative effect and very little positive effect, to as per the old trait and counting twice. ---Now when the trait would have been applied in the past there's a roll to see if it increases and by how much. There are twenty five separate modifiers including a bunch of different traits, races, aspects, and the current position on the tracker. ---There's a new help complete with lore explanations to fully break down how all of this works in detail. -Biomancy Improvements ---Futafication and Race Changing is now enabled so Nearly Impossible no longer is actually Impossible. Nearly Impossible is now a base 10% and the various modifiers can affect that as any other option. ---These are not their full power versions which are still planned for the final part of the Biomancy Storyline. As such Futafication will require Resilient (Res) and Strong (Str) for the attempt while Race Changes has a whole bunch of things that might disqualify them from the attempt including being Fel Tainted (Fel) or being one on of the more non-standard body sizes like lamia or driders. ---Races Changes in the non full power version works similar to how it did in Whorelock's Revenge and so races will have a set destination race. Meaning you might need to do two or many races changes depending on where they started from and where the target you're aiming for is on the chain.   ---Futafication in the non full power version will likely need more Biomancy work on the cock and breasts to get them up to the proper Futa standard. ---Both have possible exceptional results.   -Miscellaneous additions: ---To celebrate the lovely Nest of Vipers artwork Lamia have gained a new racial if they have Hypnotic (Hyp) in Sinuous Entrancement to improve their hypnotic powers during Nightly Activities, Respect Checks, and on Assignments. ---Increased the Expiry of Imperial Muses by 5 days. ---Advanced Blowjob Training Success can now Lightly Establish the Suck Cock mantra based on the Trainer has one of the possible mental affecting traits or it can still happen with a low chance without them. ---Advanced Lesbian Training Success can now Lightly Establish the Sapphic mantra based on the Trainer has one of the possible mental affecting traits or it can still happen with a low chance without them. ---Advanced Obedience Training Success can now Lightly Establish the Obedience mantra based on the Trainer has one of the possible mental affecting traits or it can still happen with a low chance without them. ---Advanced Sissification Training Success can now Lightly Establish the Sissification mantra based on the Trainer has one of the possible mental affecting traits or it can still happen with a low chance without them. ---As Pillow Talk and Silken Pillows now makes use of this for some extra variation in the result text, the generator that's sometimes used for human/beastkin names (where they don't have a more specific one) and is more likely to to apply if they are beastkin or a Bimbo (now also if they have Slutty) has had a bunch of new names added. ---Text and effect improvements to the Bissected Armour gained from A Deluge of Oozes. ---Goblins now, rather than always having a slightly reduced booty, have a chance to get a decent bonus to their butt size on generation. ---New trait combo in Fiendish (Sdt+/Fnd-). Also the Success with an Obedient Convent was missing a You reference. -Bug fixes: ---Fix for the slaves on Quicker than They Like being a base higher quality on the Success than on the Critical. ---Fix for Futanari becoming Female on Quick as You Like (double check these two didn't get lose due to save/not touching game for awhile) ---Fix for the excessive number of supplies being given on a Success on Icebreaker. ---Fix for playing as a Golem not getting Terrifying automatically at the start of the game. ---Fix for undoing a Petrification potion not inflicting the potential slave wear effects it was supposed to. ---Fix for Ponygirl Training not checking whether the slave is wearing Unchangeable Attire or if it can be crafted correctly and so wouldn't extend the current seamstress timer if applicable. I've also changed it so now the check is also on the slave having the crafting traits (as then they can make it themself at the slaver's direction). Now if there's no crafting traits, no role currently filled with a crafter, and no purchased encampment one now the assignment can be done, but will cost some extra gold if available or morale if not to reflect that outfit had to come from somewhere. "Let's see if you really wanted it," 

Theo’s car rolls up behind Stiles and he quickly walks to the car. Theo stops the car and walks out of it.

“Sorry, I got here as fast as I could,” Theo huffed, running up to Stiles.

“I got to go now, Parrish has got the bodies,” Stiles said, walking quickly to the passenger seat.

“Hey, wait up, Stiles, wait-” Theo said.

“Parrish is out, he’s got the bodies, we got to find Scott, we got to tell him,” Stiles quickly said as he opened the car door.

“Stiles!” Theo shouts, stopping Stiles in his footsteps.

Stiles closes the car door and takes a step closer to Theo who was standing in front of the car.

“ I don’t think Scott wants to talk to you right now,” Theo warned Stiles.

“Yeah, thanks, I’m aware of that,” Stiles acknowledged, “doesn’t matter, he needs to know about this.”

He steps back and goes to open the car door.

“Stiles,” Theo said, his voice lower, “Scott doesn’t want to talk to you.”

Stiles walks closer, and Theo pulls out his library card that he had thrown in the hospital trash can earlier.

“But I think your dad does,” Theo muttered.

Stiles’ heart quickens, afraid of what his dad was going to say to him.

“Your dad was looking for you, Stiles-” he started to walk with the card in his hand- “found me instead,” he said.

“Where is he?” Stiles asks as he follows Theo.

Theo looks at Stiles and shows Stiles his library card, “I covered for you, this was taken care of. Melissa didn’t find it at the hospital, I guess even the son of a cop can make mistakes.”

“Did you hurt him?” Stiles asks, referring to his father.

Theo stops and looks Stiles straight in the eye, “I never lied about why I came back to Beacon Hills-” he pauses for a moment- “I’m here for a pack.”

“I came for the werecoyote, the one whose first instinct is to kill. I came for the Banshee, the girl who is surrounded by death,” he said as he circled Stiles, “I came for the dark kitsune, the beta with anger issues. I came for void Stiles, that’s the pack I want!”

“Unfortunately, it doesn’t include Scott,” Theo said as he stops in front of Stiles.

Stiles felt his anger rising, and so does Theo.

“Your heartbeat’s rising, Stiles,” Theo commented, as he walked to his car, “it’s not because you’re afraid. The nogitsune is gone, but you’ve still got more blood on your hands than any one of us.”

“I’m about to get more,” Stiles threatened Theo.

“I’ll tell you where your dad is-” Theo places the library card on the hood of his car- “if you promise not to help Scott.”

Stiles’ anger takes the best of him and he punches Theo, he stumbles but doesn't fall.

Theo chuckles despicably and he stands back up, “There he is! That’s Void Stiles! It felt good, didn’t it.”

Stiles punches his right in the nose, and Theo falls onto the gravel floor. Blood pools as his nose bleed, but he tilts his head back and spits the blood out onto the gravel.

“We won’t tell Scott, cause you can’t lose your best friend right, even though we both know you never needed him,” Theo said.

Stiles paces before he lunges towards Theo letting out a grunt of anger as he does so. He holds Theo by the jacket he was wearing.

“You hate me now, but you’ll get it eventually,” Theo retorted.

“This is the hard part, you can’t help Scott and save your dad’s life,” Theo said.

Stiles' mind was racing as he tried to calm himself down by taking deep breaths.

“You still got time, Stiles,” Theo warned, “you still got time.”

Stiles’ body tenses up and his grip on Theo’s jacket was getting stronger and stronger. Stronger than he should be feeling.

“You said you wanted Void Stiles,” Stiles said through ragged breaths, “well, this is your wish come true.”

Stiles stands up and lifts Theo with ease. He stares at Theo before throwing the chimera towards his car. Theo’s body hits the bumper of the car and falls onto the gravel.

Stiles’ hand trembles as his breathing levels out, he stares at Theo. Theo was staring back, pain and shock expressed greatly on his face.

“Let’s see if you really wanted it,” Stiles said, his voice neutral and unwavering.

Stiles, well more accurately, Void Stiles turns around and walks away, disappearing into the dark.

It’s been ages since then, Stiles remained Stiles, and everything unfolded, the ghost riders, anuk-ite and even Theo became a good ally to the pack.

Everyone was having a great time in college, and everyone was back in Beacon Hills for summer break. It was a cool summer night and Theo was woken up by shouting.

“Stiles, Stiles!” Theo said, holding Stiles.

Stiles calms down as he wakes up and Theo loosens his grip on him.

“Are you okay? What happened?” Theo said, concerned.

“I’m fine, I jus- I just had a bad dream,” Stiles panted.

“A bad dream, or a night terror?” Theo asked.

“Theo, let’s go back to sleep,” Stiles mumbled, brushing the subject off.

“Stiles, I know you’re lying and these night terrors, you’ve been having them every night,” Theo said.

“I- I don’t want to talk about it,” Stiles said, his eyes locking with Theo’s.

“Babe, it hurts me to see you hurt,” Theo said.

Stiles reaches out and turns the bedside lamp on. He sits cross legged across to Theo on the double bed.

“Well, I’ve been having night terrors, about things that I shouldn’t be bothered by anymore, things that are in the past, thing that-” Stiles began rambling.

“Stiles, it doesn’t matter if the thing is in the past if it’s bothering you now,” Theo cut in.

“I’ve been having night terrors about the Nogitsune, and about Donovan, about my mother during her last days,” Stiles said, “I don’t know why, but it started after we had the pack picnic near the nemeton.”

“We couldn’t have released the nogitsune, you told me that it’s buried where it can’t be disturbed.” Theo said.

“But we both know who could’ve, remember when the nemeton was disturbed while we were in college, there were holes in the ground around the nemeton,” Stiles said, “whoever it was, didn’t release the nogitsune though, Derek found the capsule, the fly was still inside and he hid it deeper, in a place no one can find it.”

“He hid it in the hale vault,” Theo said.

“Yeah, and there’s no reason I should be this on edge about it, no reason I should be thinking about turning void, no reason at all,” Stiles ranted.

Theo softly caressed his lover’s arm, “you’re stressed that you might turn void again, and you won’t. There’s no chance of it ever getting out of that container made out of rowan wood.”

“There could be, the nogitsune can create illusions, it’s a fox, a trickster, what if the fly was an illusion and the real fly is possibly out there,” Stiles theorized.

“You figured it out, Stiles,” Theo said, except it was the raspy, guttural voice of the nogitsune.

Theo shifts into the nogitsune’s body, well the dead body of Rhys, Stiles jolts out of bed as the nogitsune reaches out to him.

“Stiles! Babe!” Theo said as Stiles once again wakes up, in his hold.

The collar of his shirt was wet with sweat, his heart was racing and so was his breath, his throat felt hoarse like he had screamed for hours. Theo was panting as well.

“Get away from me!” Stiles said, jumping out of bed and backing away from Theo.

“Wha- Stiles, are you okay?” Theo asked.

“N-no, you’re the nogitsune,” Stiles stammered as he slowly backed away from the bed until his back hit the closet.

“Stiles, that can’t be true, it’s me, Theo, your boyfriend,” he said.

“Prove it,” Stiles said.

“If I was the nogitsune, wouldn’t I already be causing chaos?” Theo asked.

Stiles felt something change with him. He felt as if something crawl up his neck. In a second’s time, he was gone.

“Stiles? Are you okay?” Theo asked as Stiles face gained a neutral, evil stare.

“Never better,” he replied.

Stiles’ eyes turn a dull white and Theo realized, this wasn’t his boyfriend. Stiles disappears out the bedroom door and Theo quickly dials Scott.

“Theo? It’s 4 in the morning, wh-”

“It’s Stiles, he’s, he’s not him anymore,” Theo said.

“What do you mean he isn’t him anymore?”

“The nogitsune, it’s in Stiles’ body,”

“But the nogitsune is in the hale vault, in the-”

“Stiles was talking in his sleep, the nogitsune could be out, an illusion in the container, or something, and he’s gone,”

“Gone? What do you mean gone?”

“He walked out our apartment, I don’t know where he went,”

Theo puts the call on the speaker and begins to change out of his nightwear into what he was wearing yesterday.

“I’m calling the Sheriff, he needs to know,”

“Ok, I’m going out to find him,” Theo said, pulling his jeans on and taking his phone from the bed.

He ends the call and walks out the bedroom, he takes his keys and walks out the apartment. He jumped down the stairs, he couldn’t wait for the elevator. Going to the sub-level floor, he runs to his navy blue truck, Stiles’ jeep was parked next to it, meaning the nogitsune was afoot.

He gets in his car and drives out the apartment parking. He scans the streets as he drives, hoping to see his boyfriend, not the nogitsune.

As he drives down the empty streets, he glances at the rear view mirror for a second and sees the nogitsune sitting in the back seat.

“Oh, fuck!” He screams as he swerves the car left and goes off-road.

He stomps down on the brakes before it rams into a tree and it was barely half an inch away from the tree when stopped.

Theo glances at the rear view mirror once more, and nothing was in the back. He gets out of the car and sees Scott pull up behind his car.

“What happened?” Scott asked as he took his helmet off.

“I saw an illusion of the nogitsune, I swerved,” Theo explained.

Scott seemed to catch a scent, a very familiar scent. Theo smelled it too, strongly, and it was Stiles’ scent.

“Stiles,” Theo said, taking off his clothes and shifting into a coyote to track the scent better.

Scott shifted, his eyebrows ridging and hair growing on his cheekbones. Scott takes Theo’s clothes, knowing he’d shift back at some point. Theo runs following the scent with Scott leaps alongside. They found Stiles, scared in the middle of the woods.

“Theo?” Stiles said, seeing the coyote run up to him.

Scott runs into the moonlight as well and Theo shifts back. Scott hands Theo his clothes and he puts his boxers on.

“Stay away from me, I don’t want to harm you,” Stiles stammered.

“Stiles, what did you do?” Theo asked, noticing Stiles’ hands were bloodied.

“I- I don’t know, Theo, I don’t know,” Stiles said.

Go is not like chess. Chess is a battle, Go is a war. Go is played by laying stones on the intersections of lines that form the board, or Goban’s, grid – these are called Moku and represent 1 territory. The two players take opposing sides and unlike chess in Go black goes first but white is awarded a ½ moku handicap, because Go is a game of skill players can be awarded up to twenty stones handicap, and it can be played on three sizes of board. A master might play with a neophyte in a game called Shidou-Go where the point is not to win but to teach. Go is unique in this. Play falls into two forms, Gote and Sente, or aggressive and defensive play, it is generally the player who stays in Gote (aggressive) longest who wins the game. When the board is full (the other way to win is if the other play concedes due to a lack of territory and being unable to catch up) the moku are marked with stones to make them easier to count, the person with the most moku wins. However, again unlike Chess, Go presents the possibility of the Divine Move, sometimes called The Hand of God, a move so out of left field and amazing it turns the game around and takes a player from Sente to Gote. A divine move is considered so rare that professional Go players might go their whole lifetime without one being played – not that they might not see it played against them, but it won’t even be played in their lifetime. Yet a Divine Move might not win the game, it just turns the game from crushing defeat to offer a hope. Understanding Go and how it’s played it becomes apparent how very rare it is. Now, like Chess, Go is rarely played with the move at hand, it’s played as many moves ahead as is possible and between two equals in skill it’s the one how plays that one move more that wins. It becomes a matter of if I move here, he’ll move there, which mean I can move there and he’ll move there and I can then capture that territory for example. A reactionary player will get crushed – speaking from experience. So the idea that Stiles was sat at that Goban playing against the Nogitsune was ludicrous, where a child who knows the moves could possibly beat a chess grand master it wouldn’t happen with Go, and it was a full sized board. I can’t look at the board and say who was winning, I can’t look at finished games and tell you who won without counting off the stones, and until the game is considered complete it can go either way in the placement of a single stone. It’s not like Chess at all in that, so although people could look at the chess board and point out the errant pieces we cannot simply do that with Go, so the point becomes not the moves that are played but who is playing them. Now when Derek rebuilt the chessboard he had seen in Stiles’ bedroom Peter distinctly said “chess was Stiles’ game” and he was right. Stiles admitted in 3a that he could play chess (badly, it was his father’s game) and Go is a game that takes years to master. When Noshiko tried to teach Kira Go Mr Yukimura was able to immediately tell who was who by the style of play and Kira was playing against the Nogitsune – her mother. And that was the final piece I needed, the Divine Move I needed to process the information. Noshiko is the Nogitsune, she always was. A nogitsune is not necessarily evil, it can’t be, it’s not subject to our morality. It is a trickster and vampiric in nature, feeding on chaos, but the only thing that separates a nogitsune from a kitsune is the affiliation to O-Inari. A nogitsune is a free kitsune. Now, a nogitsune is a trickster and because it’s tricks don’t share our morality they might seem needlessly cruel. The old example is if you asked a kitsune (or nogitsune) to make you richer than Bill Gates it would bankrupt Bill Gates so you had more money than him. If a kitsune affiliated with a family saw that the family were poor it would steal money not understanding that this was wrong. Noshiko, in her flashback, incites the riot. Satomi, the wolf lady, tells her that her mischief will end badly but she does it anyway. When the riot happens it gets out of control and Rhys is immolated and Noshiko herself is shot. On the way to death she begs her ancestors to send a powerful Nogitsune but there is no evidence that they did, she merely assumed that they did. Instead Void showed up. It’s quite obvious in retrospect, when the Nogitsune appeared to Stiles it begged him for permission to possess him, but there was no way that it could possess Rhys the same way, it needed permission which Noshiko knew because she offered it to the spirits of her ancestors. So it couldn’t have been a Nogitsune that possessed Rhys, also look at it’s actions, it didn’t play pranks or get even, it slaughtered everyone who came near. There are many shows I would discount it as bad writing but not Teen Wolf, so I just looked more closely. I knew by that point there was a second possessing force, Void, so it was easy to make the leap that Void possessed Rhys, but Void was antagonistic to Noshiko, after all she had trapped it, and this explained why she summoned the Oni to destroy it. We knew it couldn’t be a Nogitsune that was possessing Stiles because of how easily it destroyed the Oni and how easily the Oni had killed the Nogitsune before in Chris’ flashback – therefore it had to be something else and something more powerful – ergo Void. But, we had seen the Nogitsune ask for and gain possession, not once but twice, so we knew that Stiles WAS possessed by the Nogitsune and that the Nogitsune for reasons was appearing as Rhys (looking exactly like the Batman Villain Hush, a character who works primarily on misdirection btw) If we turn our attention back to Noshiko we find inconsistencies, she said she was 900 years old which means she would have 9 Kaiken, she had spaces for 9 in the book but we actually only see 8, the original five Oni, the two she summoned to replace those who were killed and the Kaiken that Void uses to take control of the Oni. So where was the ninth? I think she used it to summon the Nogitsune that possessed Stiles, adoppelgänger form of herself to possess Stiles and she did it to defeat Void. This is where Go becomes important. When Scott and Lydia entered the dreamscape they saw Stiles sitting on the Nemeton playing Go with the Nogitsune, but we’ve already proved Stiles couldn’t play Go against a master, it wouldn’t be a competition, so we have to make the assumption it wasn’t Stiles that was playing Go, that means it was Void. The Nogitsune appeared at the coyote den when Stiles went missing, and this is a good example of the Nogitsune fighting Void. Void wants despair, and by taking Stiles to the coyote den Stiles was meant to die, by alerting Scott and setting up a manhunt it was meant to show them fail. It was only luck that Rafael McCall found him, it wasn’t planned that way, we know that because the Nogitsune asked for possession his exact words “we’re trying to save your life, Stiles.” Now imagine for a moment that Agent McCall had not found him in time, imagine the despair that would have wreaked the town, Scott, Derek, the sheriff would all have lost hope. The brain scans happened before the Nogitsune took possession in the machine, and the cable was doctored before then. If the Nogitsune HAD possession it wouldn’t have needed permission. This is when they start playing Go, the Nogitsune and Void are playing against each other, using Stiles as their Goban. Possessed Stiles went to see Mr Yukimura and caused a fly to go inside Mr Yukimura forcing Noshiko to go to the school to expel it. This meant that Noshiko told Scott in front of Mr Yukimura who urged her to be more honest. But the point of it from Void’s perspective was simple – the sword was broken and couldn't be used to defeat him this time. This would cause despair. This then became the Nogitsune’s move. The Nogitsune knew Kira was a thunder kitsune and could reforge the sword, thus preventing Void’s move and setting up an attack of his own, but it had it’s downsides, Nogitsune knew that Noshiko, seeing the photo, would go to the basement and take the Kaiken with her – thus revealing the Kaiken to Void. Ie the move that Void had put in play to get the Kaiken directly was thwarted but everything was in place for it to get it another way. But with Nogitsune still in control when Noshiko appeared in the basement it used the Kaiken to expel the flies seemingly working for Void but preventing it taking the Oni that early. And although Void could control a corpse – possibly part of it’s idea for killing Stiles – because it controlled Rhys, Nogitsune could create a double so when Scott and Lydia faced it at the nemeton in the dreamscape it did that – which of them made that move I don’t know because it helped both of them – but it meant that the Shugendo scroll suddenly applied. A fox could possess a wolf, but the fox’s fake body was entirely that of a fox and it couldn’t sustain the bite. But look at how Nogitsune acted in the dreamscape, it drove Lydia to the double doors- it pushed her to the solution. The same thing happened in the illusion with Stiles, in pressing Stiles to kill himself it gave him the sword’s reflection allowing him to see that it was an illusion – all without revealing to Void it was working to SAVE Stiles. That was the Divine Move, not that Stiles overcame the illusion, but that the nogitsune managed to play void to the point where it could both be captured and destroyed. The nogitsune’s false body was susceptible to the sword meaning that Void could not maintain it and the sword expelled it, and it did it all without revealing to Void that it was antagonistic. Void wasn’t affected by the bite – but the Nogitsune’s own body was. Nogitsune wouldn’t be affected by the sword – but Void was. It had to be both or Void wouldn’t have tried to escape to be caught in the jar. The victor of the game wasn’t Void who threw aside the pieces in the dreamscape, but Nogitsune who played that many more moves ahead. Nogitsune sacrificed the Oni to get the flies out of Stiles, Nogitsune who led Stiles and Lydia to save themselves. Nogitsune who played consistently in Gote was revealed to be leading Void into the moves it needed to gain final victory. A divine move indeed. And the biggest hint that Noshiko was the Nogitsune was in her interactions with possessed Stiles, and possessed Stiles’ own words. Noshiko recognised Void in the hospital and spoke of it’s choice of host and how it wouldn’t stop her, this was just after Nogitsune had been given possession. It could be argued that she knew because of the killing on the Oni but why wait until afterwards to confront him. Noshiko could play Go. Noshiko was nice to unpossessed Stiles. So we had a kitsune of indeterminate type who had both a vendetta against the force that killed Rhys and could play Go – and then Stiles’ own words – you can’t trust a fox, they’ll trick you every time. It’s unclear if it was Nogitsune speaking here but it is clear that it wasn’t really aimed at Scott at all. If it was Nogitsune it was telling Scott that it would defeat Void and if it was Void it was telling Scott it couldn’t trust Nogitsune – but in reality it was the warning that the fox would always come out triumphant – and that is the moral of Japanese Fox myths = you don’t mess with foxes they always win. The Go game was between Noshiko – Nogitsune and Void, Nogitsune tricked Void and defeated it by showing Stiles how to defeat it and creating the fake body.
