Desde Convivencia en Diversidad Tandil queremos hacer pública la postura de nuestra organización ante el próximo Ballotage presidencial.

Como Argentinos hacemos un llamado a NO votar por La Libertad Avanza (Javier Gerardo Milei), Partido y personas que ha mostrado claramente su postura neofascista. El alto grado de discriminación hacia nuestra comunidad, las mujeres, los aborígenes, extranjeros, personas de bajo recursos y trabajadores, nos hace declararnos por primera vez en nuestra historia en una elección, como figura en nuestra carta constitutiva, no nos identificamos con partido político alguno, línea o denominación o religión alguna.

Pero entendemos que esta situación que pone en riesgo la Patria, no nos permite, bajo ningún pretexto ser tibios o hacernos los desentendidos. El callar, o el no declararnos es abiertamente apoyar a aquellas personas que buscan entregar el País en manos extranjeras, destruir su sociedad, los logros alcanzados y el camino hacia una Nación con una sociedad trabajadora, en constante evolución y desarrollo.

Desde CED Tandil hacemos un llamado a NO votar por Milei, invitando a toda la sociedad a dedicarle un tiempo a la búsqueda de información, propuestas, desdichos, acuerdos y todo aquello que muestra el alto grado de peligrosidad para nuestra República y en especial para nuestra comunidad, de parte de las personas integrantes de esta Fuerza Política.

Plantea eliminar la obligatoriedad de la Educación Sexual Integral en todos los niveles de enseñanza cuando ya hay más de ochocientos casos en todo el País de niños y adolescentes que denuncia violaciones y abusos intra-familiares después de tener charlas o clases de E.S.I. Proponen reemplazarlo por Pornografía ("Yo no estoy en contra de la educación sexual. Fomento la pornografía. A los chicos les digo que la miren. Si un chico tiene una computadora o un teléfono, se informa sobre eso. Es como yo aprendí" Marra en Radio con Vos), Milei redobló la apuesta y consideró que: “la ideología de género, los pueblos originarios, la ecología y el lenguaje inclusivo destruyen los valores de la sociedad”. Eliminará el Ministerio de Mujeres, Géneros y Diversidad. «No tengo por qué sentir vergüenza de ser un hombre blanco, rubio y de ojos celestes. No le voy a conceder nada al marxismo cultural. Con esto saben que el Ministerio de la Mujer… pista, porque la única igualdad que vale es la igualdad ante la ley» Le falto agregar heterosexual, la realidad que esa expresión es justamente lo que hace que solo en el 2021 tuviéramos ciento veinte crímenes de odio hacia personas LGBTIQ+ en el País, dado por las "normas" justamente expresadas por Milei.  Eliminación de programas de salud concretos para nuestra comunidad, lo que permite una mejor calidad de vida y menor gasto al estado desde la perspectiva de tiempo-economía. Somos comparados con las personas que sufren alguna enfermedad poniéndonos a la par con personas que sufren discapacidad (Ricardo Bussi, diputado Nacional electo), siendo que desde el año 1990 se eliminó la homosexualidad de la lista de Clasificación Internacional de Enfermedades. Proponen la eliminación de la Ley de Cupo laboral trans, esta ley permite que nuestra comunidad trans logre por primera vez en su vida la posibilidad de ingresar a un trabajo formal sin generación de gastos extras al estado. “Estamos frente al fin del modelo de la casta, ese modelo basado en esa atrocidad que dice que donde hay una necesidad nace un derecho. Pero se olvida de que ese derecho alguien lo tiene que pagar, cuya máxima expresión es esa aberración llamada la justicia social”.

Acompañar a este partido es una clara postura neofascista.

Cats Vienna Revival, 06.04.2022

Get ready for another blog about! Hopefully I can keep things short for once.

Today was the first time for me that Hannah Kenna Thomas didn’t play Victoria. Today she was played by Susannah Murphy who was also formidable.

Jo Lucy Rackham played Rumpleteazer. That’s the third role I’ve seen her play in like two weeks (next to Curbucketty and Demeter). Much talent, very brilliant. She was an amazing Rumpleteazer too.

Florian Fettele played Munkustrap. I’ve hardly ever seen him (I think once) and he is really good too. He plays Munkustrap a little bit less strict than Auler and he is amazing in conveying emotions with his voice. It was really fun listening to him.

Also no Bill Baily today. Admetus (Nicholas Li), Coricopat (Ricardo Sinisi) and Carbucketty (Nathan Luce) covered some of his parts.

Some of my observations under the cut:

Quite at the beginning they had problems with the sound engineering. Gus’ mic wasn’t on at the beginning of the man over there part. But I could here him loud and clear, even thou I was sitting on the first floor. Unfortunatly they had problems more than once and at the end, when Jemima (Vicky Riddoch) sang her sunflower part, there were some noises that were really uncomfortable.

Jennyanydots (Katharina Lochmann) and Jellylorum (Barbara Obermeier) were on fire today. They were both giving everything and were so much fun. During the Rum Tum Tugger Jellylorum was standing on the car next to Alonzo and kind of imitated Tugger’s (Alex Snova) hip move. Alonzo looked up to her und shook his head in a disappointed way, which was quite funny.

Jenny was really very in love with Bustopher today. She was so happy to see him. At the beginning Demeter and Jemima were nuzzeling each others head and she went up to them and it seemed like she was saying: Stop that and look at my crush instead. They both turned around to focus on Bustopher from now on.

Also somthing I thing I haven’t written about before but what is quite interesting. Victoria and Demeter (Giulia Vazzoler) both need comfort when they aren’t allowed to touch Grizabella (Ana Milva Gomes). Jenny hinders Victoria to touch her and Etcetera (Meghan Peploe-Williams) is immediately by her side to comfort her. When Munkustrap forbids Demeter to touch Grizabella, Bombalurina comes to collect her and to comfort her until Demeter sings about her and then she supports her by starting to sing with her. It seems like it’s really hard on some of the cats that they aren’t allowed to welcome every cat they see. They need someone to console them afterwards.

Also Skimbleshanks (Tommie Luyben) was such an uncle today. He looked after Jemima for the whole song. During Tugger’s number he missed the ball and it rolled into the audience. He later collected it from the first row. They probably had the night of their lives (they were obv. fans) because usually the actors don’t go down into the audience because of covid.

At the beginning of Pekes and Pollicles Alonzo (George Maniadis) strut together with Cassandra, both looking very proud, when he suddenly remebered that he played Rumpus Cat. For a moment he looked shocked, then he ran up to Munkustrap who sent him off stage.

(Also Munkustrap was quite disappointed with Alonzo during the first Macavity scare. He really tried to be breath and stay his ground together with Munkustrap, but he got scared and run awas. Munkustrap threw his hands up in the air. It was like: “Are you serious? Leaving me alone?” And it also was a little bit dismissive but quite funny.)

JELLICLE BALL

At the moment I’m completely in love with the Jellicle Ball. Carbucketty was quite bussy today during the song part at the beginning because he did his own parts and Bill Baily’s parts. He ran from one side of the stage to the other to do both (a cat with the zoomies).

There is that butt to butt part, that was cut during the 1998 movie but I love it so much, because they are paired in quite a funny random way (I think mostly by size, but not sure). Yes we have Mungojerrie with Rumpleteazer and Coricopat with Tantomile, but we also have Demeter with Jemima, Cassandra with Electra, Victoria with Carbucketty, Admetus with Bomba and Alonzo with Bill Baily (today he danced with Skimble, cause Bill missed this ball).

Also something a noticed last time but also happened today. After Cassandra (Anneka Dacres) does the cartwheel she looks quite confused, but then she sees Alonzo und she begins to smile and goes to him to dance with him.

At the beginning of the Bomba (Birgit Arquin) section, Mungojerrie (Jan-Eike Mayert) and Coricopat were her biggest fanboys (”checking her out”) and Tugger had to collect them to get ready for their part. During the cuddle pile she was next to Alonzo again, so this is becoming a theme now, or what? (new rare pair unlocked)

Second half of the ball is absolute fave now. I love nearly everythink about it. Love the first big boys dance (with Munk in the center) and I especially love the part after that. Victoria, Electra, Rumpleteazer, Tantomile and Cassandra form a V (this was cut from 1998 too) and are later joined by Misto, Carbucketty, Bomba and Demeter. I absolute love this part. They are disdurbed by big boys 2 (this time with Tugger centre).

And then in Vienna Electra takes centre stage for the rest of the ball (not Victoria). She is front middle and she deservse it (she is slowly becoming one of my faves too). Love her!

There is always so much going on during the ball. It’s kind of sad that you can’t rewind while watching it live (lol). There is always something you’d miss.

Second act: Not much noticed (as usual for me lol). Misto didn’t do a pirate today, but maybe he played a Siamese instead. Couldn’t tell because of the cat masks.

During Skimbleshanks Carbucketty convinces Electra to missbehave and to change places with Cassandra. She gets in trouble for it and he laughes at her. That’s just such sibling behaviour.

Not much to say about Macavity and the fight today. Only: today I noticed how the boys come back one by one while Munkustrap and Macavity are fighting. Mungojerrie seemed immidiatly concerned for Rumpleteazer and Tantomile who were sitting on his side of the stage.

Snova Tugger is far more impressed with Misto then Hees Tugger. Misto (Matthew Levick) was also on fire today. Also: Love how Tugger always flirts with Rumpleteazer. This is another rare pair that usually has quite a few interactions during the Vienna Revival. Also big fan of how Coricopat and Tantomile (Petra Ilse Dam) have a cute interaction with Misto, when played by Levick. After Misto brings Old D. back, he stands on the left side of the stage, doesn’t look back and seems to doubt himself. I started watching “The Politician” the other day and on ep.2 s1, I see the this:

This is Laura Patalano, I recognized her face from watching “Gentefied” (It’s on Netflix, watch it if you can). And honestly this is the greatest example of the importance of representation, not only on screen by also behind it. We need POC writers, directors, producers, etc.

On “The Politician”, Laura plays “Lupe,” Ben Platt’s maid. She’s barely there, barely has a line. That’s it.

On “Gentefied” she plays “Beatriz Morales” (yeah, she gets to have a last name!) and her character is rich with layers. Her character shows how it is for immigrants, and the language barrier and how to deal with abusive bosses and how it is to deal with her kids, etc. The show itself has been described as “a badass bilingual series about family, community, brown love, and the displacement that disrupts it all”

And like, “The Politician” and “Gentefied” premiered about the same time. So this is clearly an example of if we want real, true, respectful representation, it will come from our own people.

If we wait for people like Ryan Murphy (no hate) to give us that space, we’ll continue to have characters like Lupe and that other character Ricardo, which is a straight up mess and don’t even wanna address it cause this is long enough as it is.

Now, I’m not in the bussiness, but I’d imagine there aren’t that many opportunities for POC directors, writers, etc. So we all gotta love shows like “Gentefied” or “On my Block”, “Vida,”etc. Because numbers matter, and we need to support our people, so they can fight and get more shows like these greenlit.

Se activó el protocolo por coronavirus en el barrio centro. El protocolo de salud que busca prevenir la propagación del coronavirus se activó este martes, cuando una mujer de 34 años llamó al SEM 107 manifestando que presentaba síntomas similares a la enfermedad, y que el 3 de marzo tuvo contacto legislador Ricardo Bussi, quien está infectado con dicho virus La mujer llamó al servicio de emergencias 107 al presentar síntomas similares al coronavirus. La misma manifestó que el 3 de marzo aproximadamente visitó a familiares en la provincia de Tucumán, y también intercambiaron abrazos y saludos con el legislador Ricardo Bussi a quien le dio positivo el análisis por coronavirus.
