Propaganda: Genre-defying powerhouse of a band. So many classic songs. Every member was some flavor of hot but Richie was married Heather Locklear hot and Jon was hot enough to make you want to take a risk on a Jersey boy. Their stage show was iconic with Jon, Richie and Alec fitted with wires so they could be lifted up and fly out over the crowd mid-performance. (See the video for Livin' on a Prayer to see this in action) They're still performing to this day and Jon is still married to his high school sweetheart which I think is kind of adorable.

Richard Bennett was also great with Neil Diamond. I personally love his live version of Cracklin Rosie, which is much better than the studio version. Brian May gave Queen the sound they truly have which I admire. When it comes to music Queen invented their own sound. You can listen to any artist from the past, but Queen was one band who you can immediately tell had talent back then. Now when it comes to heavy metal the best guitarest for Iron Maiden was Janick Gers. If you want an example of his work you should listen to Aces High. Talent is what I truly admire from many generations of rock n roll and metal, or any other genres of music
25 years ago on 1/31/98 I was lucky enough to snag a ticket for $125 and walked into the @basiecenter in Red Bank where this neighborhood band assembled & aligned for a benefit show for the family of slain Long Branch PD Sgt. Black Paisley comes from Stockholm. The band is one of the upcomers in the NWOCR (New Wave Of Classic Rock) bringing on the heritage from classic acts like Whitesnake, Scorpions and Thunder combined with modern production and praised new songwriting.
The band name Black Paisley, comes from Bon Jovi’s Ritchie Sambora’s classic Fender signature guitar from 1996. With the name, you get an embedded connection to the Melodic Rock with catchy melodies which is the best way to describe Black Paisley’s music
Human Nature is the fourth album by Black Paisley, and there are no filler tracks here. This album is a masterpiece in terms of the music and production.
With the aim to re-invent the magic from their idols and the albums/songs that inspired their youth, the band managed to sign and meet up with icon Mike Fraser at Armoury Studios in Vancouver (mixing - 5 AC/DC albums, The Cult, Aerosmith, Metallica) and Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound in Nashville handled the mastering (AC/DC, Adele, Ozzy & Greta Van Fleet), to help them out with the songs 'Set Me On Fire' and 'Human Nature'.
Line-up
Stefan Blomqvist – Lead vocal and guitars
Franco Santunione – Lead guitar and vocals
Jan Emanuelsson - Bass
Robert Karazsi - Drums and Percussion
Please tell me I’m not the only who thinks that Nikki Sixx and Ritchie Sambora look alike. I swear I see it and it throws me off. Only at a very specific time though, when they were young. Just me?
Jon Bon Jovi: You tried to prove you weren’t drunk by loudly singing the Romanian national anthem. Why the fuck do you even KNOW the Romanian national anthem?
Bob Rock: when I made my mind up to do metallica, I wanted to do metallica, but oddly enough I had to choose between metallica and doing, uhm... I worked with Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora, and he and I are great friends. And he said I wanna do a solo and I want you to do it. At that point it was like, you know: should I let down a friend or should I do this band? So I ended up going on a vacation with my family --my kids and my wife-- we are going through the desert by the Grand Canyon, we are driving along. And there is this person on the side of the road, an indian on the side of the road, in the middle of absolutely nowhere, sitting on the side of the road with a Metallica t-shirt on. And I went "oh my god! that's a sign!". About an hundred miles I stopped for gas. I went into a gas station, to pay for the gas, and Metallica were on the radio, and everybody said that they've never been on the radio -that's when I knew. I phoned my manager, I said: "sorry Ritchie, I gotta do this".
Original poster here: Let me clarify what I meant by “head of the band,” in relation to Jon Bonjovi. It’s not about 1D at all let me clear that up. Jbj is the head of his band and it’s also his namesake after his last name. Harry is head of his current solo career band now the “Harry Styles band”. They’re alike in that both have members that have become popular on their own accord (aka Ritchie Sambora,Tico Torres) and Mitch, Sarah, Ny. Yet at the core they’re still part of one band led by one person. It’s a model I was referring to in context of following path of Jbj career’s design by Azoff. Sorry if that was confusing it’s all made sense in my head. 🥴
No worries! Sometimes things get misconstrued but I get it :) thanks for clarifying
