I 🩵💚 Rivertown!

This was the first spot in the city I stayed when I came down to visit apartments with my mom nearly two years ago. I loved making coffee and strolling down to the river, admiring the tree-lined streets, and seeing all the developments in the old warehouses. There is still so much potential here, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds in this neighborhood.

I took the 4 Woodward to the 9 Jefferson this morning to pick up some paper products, peanuts, and a vase for my patio at Dollar Tree, and stayed for a stroll! One of my favorite ways to enjoy the city is to implement a little bit of fun and exercise into my everyday errands.

i love that place. I wish I could've stayed longer. Too bad i had to drive back and forth so much; its nice in another town to immerse in it and experience it fully rather than drive 60 miles on blah road and thru construction vs go back to the park and use my state sticker and get some ice cream and walk around town and park by the river

So we know that Smallfeather got his name from “small” because of his small size, and “feather” because he is free spirited, but what about Bloodmoss?

I like to think (beyond the fourth wall,) her name is a metaphor for Rivertown itself, with “blood” referencing the violence and death the town is drowning in, and the “moss” referring to the mossy surroundings of Rivertown as well as the growth of moss in neglected places

in character, though, her name would have a similar meaning, acting as a metaphor for Rivertown though in a much less general sense and also working as her own perspective and personal experiences

“blood” again referring to the violence and abuse shes lived through, as well as the pain she’s experienced, and “moss” referring to how moss has a tendency to grow on north facing surfaces and serving as a metaphor for perspective - the “blood moss,” (the existence of pain and violence,) exists only or mostly on one specific side of her as a person

everyone who’s seen Bloodmoss can tell she’s been extremely traumatized just from her appearance, and her name serves as a reminder that there is more to her than what meets the eye

Old Sacramento California USA, is a old historic gold rush rivertown. Filled with quaint stores, restaurants, a little shooting gallery and an a awesome train museum. Sometimes you will see horse drawn carriages or stagecoach that you can ride. Or take a ride on a boat down the Sacramento River, or a fun little train trip. Yes, it is a touristy old west town, with cobblestones and wooden deck walkways. Sometimes they have events, like a jazz festival. I like it.
