We saw other people create ask blogs, we made one too.

First of all :

Who are we?

We are a group of Rock Humans known as Damokan. Our boss is Tamaki Damo, and we work with Jobin Higashikata in order to get the Rokakaka fruit imported. We're based in Morioh.

What can you ask us?

Anything, as long as it's not... problematic things. Just say who you're asking or some of us will get confused. (cough cough Aisho cough cough)

Who can you expect to answer?

Damo (obviously), Yotsuyu (me), Aisho, the twins, and Jobin.

Who is behind this blog?

I was inspired by the other JoJo ask blogs, such as @ask-la-squadra, @ask-unita-speciale and @ask-the-jofoes. Because Jojolion is my favorite part along with Vento Aureo, I decided to make an ask blog for the Damokan Group.

Here are some of the headcanons I will stick to :

-Damo is a big No More Heroes fan.

-Yotsuyu is intersex.

-Aisho and the twins don't get along very well.

-Jobin's favorite video game is Mushihimesama.

Jojolands 17 Spoilers

Howler is VERY quickly sprinting to the top of my favorite characters in Jojo. Assumably he's the main villain (Glad we're getting the set up now instead of chapter 70 or something). Its such a unique way to introduce a main villain especially for Jojo. Normally the MV is introduced as an ominous shadowy puppet master or overwhelming force. Instead we have someone introduced as a Horny Rich guy immediately losing everything he's worked for. He even looks silly compared to previous antagonists, who tend to have more slick and cohesive outfits. So based on previous patterns with the SBR universe, he seems to be based on Diavolo and maybe Pucci? Being the head of a major (somewhat illegal) organization and having similarly weird facial hair to new moon Pucci. Its also cool for the MV to actually be after the same goal as the protagonists this time around (LOTS OF MONEY). While certainly present in previous parts I don't think its been to this degree. Valentine wanted the corpse but Johnny and Gyro weren't hunting it as their main goal. Part 8 maybe with the new Rokakaka but that didn't emerge this early on iirc. Anyway its a really good chapter.

With how closely Yasuho has been watched, how likely is it that the Rock Humans eventually find out about the Mori-Hole?

honestly? longer than you might think. After explaining things to Koichi's mom, she makes sure that Yasuho is much more careful when it comes to visiting. Paisley makes things even easier and erases any digital records, so there's that

but of course, she isn't able to stay off their radar forever, ESPECIALLY when she starts dating Toru. She's never made aware of the fact he knows, but they do

however....... the Mori-hole actually also isn't as useful as they hoped. It's a portal to another universe, of course they thought of all the ways they could use it! ......but as we've seen, the Rokakaka fruits, specifically the plants, are incredibly delicate. They need very close and careful monitoring, and if things go wrong for even a little bit the whole plant can die (maybe this also sparks a theory/rumor that the other side is toxic and slowly kills you or something? It's untrue obviously, but that could add an interesting mild conflict with some investigation)

so..... yeah the Rokakaka fruits aren't able to survive being stored on the other side. This doesn't mean the hole doesn't have its uses, but the biggest one has been rendered null so while they make sure only a handful of people actually know about it, it's not regarded as a priority and they let Yasuho go back and forth as she pleases

what they do do is keep close tabs on anyone who comes through. After all...... they still have no idea what the hell this thing is. It's not just a hole in time, it's leading somewhere completely different where there are differences that range from small and inconsequential to enormous, history altering events. Who knows if the people on the other side are even human, hell, who knows if this was even caused by a Stand of if it's from some other power they don't understand yet

Koichi of course gets the most of their attention. Rohan, the rest of the Duwang Gang when Koichi eventually shares, occasionally Jotaro, sure they all pop over on occasion, but as far as they can see Koichi has been coming here the longest and knows Yasuho the best. He's the most regular anomaly, claiming to be Yasuho's sibling which she readily and openly accepts. They've got a whole file on him from their observations, and while they don't know what to do about it...... he is being watched

(do I have any idea where to take this specific plot line? no not really, but I want it to go Somewhere and also I like the idea of Koichi being around for bits of Part 8)

Welcome back to JJBA crackships! We’re back with-

Haisho!

Hato is the eldest daughter of the Higashikata family, and is one of the only family members to not commit any crimes(Daiya knows what she did). She’s a model and is very sweet, but somewhat forgetful. She looks past beauty and instead focuses on personality, which unfortunately led to the vitamin c arc and her having to fight her boyfriend with her stand Walking Heart. Hato managed to thankfully survive the part though.

Aisho Dainenjiyama is a Rock human and minor antagonist, facing off against Yasuho and Tsurugi with his stand Doobie Wah. He is quite the paranoid person, but that helped him figure out he was being tracked. He has a big heart despite being a Rokakaka dealer, and even had a girlfriend before he got into the business(who unfortunately cheated and stole his house). He did not survive his fight in the end.

There’s actually a lot of justification for this ship despite them never meeting. Aisho despite being a rock human was very passionate and caring about his partner, and Hato would probably be more than willing to deal with his nonsense. They also have an age difference of about 5 years(24 and 29).

These two idiots are a match made in Morioh

the one note i would have about rai is that i wish in maybe a single chapter at least he just simply acknowledged that his whole home was destroyed. he's so minimized by being so quick to just join the search for the rokakaka- maybe it would've been more impactful if he actually established that yes, oh it's happening now.

What if this rock and the volcanoes are the origin of the rock humans and rokakaka? It obviously will tie in to the rock humans (Chekhov’s gun and all that), and I wonder what’s special about that specific mound of rock that was IN THE SAME SAFE AS A 6 MILLION DOLLAR DIAMOND

what if the diamond is actually to do with the rock? Like the aja being able to magnify sunlight to kill the pillar men, the diamond can magnify sunlight to kill rock humans?

Maybe he’s a stand specialist, he instantly figures out that the cat’s a stand user, but he also knows random fun facts like how he could instantly recognise the exact type of cooled lava that Rohan had, but didn’t know what it was for or what it does (if so, he might just be the most relatable character in all of Jojo)

God I adore these chapters, part 9 just keeps hitting, what performance enhancing substances is Araki on????

I was thinking about the possibility of Tooru may be a bit xenophobic and specialy toward Chinese people or China itself because like.. Hear me out, when Tooru emerged from the hornet nest and was starting to enter the society (with the information we have about the radio gaga incident) in 1941 he was like mostly adaptated. But in those times like we all know there were many conflicts and Japan wasnt the exception, im refering to the second sino-japanese war started in 1937, which is a very tragic conflict due to the massacres and so more. Tooru may have engendered at least some negative view toward China, and it can be more assumed when he say this

This is just a assuption i made lol, but its interesting to analize and think: Tooru may have some conservative thoughts internalized due to the envirioment he grew his first years in the society.
