Ramadan is over, Lent is about to be over for the Orthodox, and i'm going through the last of my first manic episode, so why the fuck not?

brief description of each of the settings: DA:I is about a false god threatening to conquer the world, with the main character having to choose sides regarding the Templar-Mage war that begat all of the game's events. The Terror is about the doomed arctic expedition (the infamous Franklin lost expedition, to be exact) that is haunted by the guardian spirit of the land they were not invited to.

brief description of The Terror characters:

John Irving — pious and honourable yet obviously repressed in all of the ways one can be lieutenant whose (inner) homophobia triggers the becoming of the main human antagonist;

Cornelius Hickey — the said human antagonist; he knew what love was, as the actor portraying.the character said about him, and he sure did — he shat in his ex's bed and told him their captain is going to fuck him right after that man dumped him. as a person who also knows what love is, that IS love, for all i know. he's also a cannibal who's the prettiest girl you'll ever see and just one poisoned lead can with food tall!

Calhoun MacConmara — look up the hashtag on tumblr if you're curious about how he started out in my head, but it's no use talking about him here. he's the human male mage Inquisitor here, and that's all that matters considering the Inquisitor is what you make them be

brief description of the DA:I characters:

the Inquisitor — the aforementioned doll you dress up and make kiss the other dolls as you all try to figure out how the fuck you are to defeat an ancient evil mage turned eldritch god;

Cullen Rutherford — ex-Templar Commander of the Inquisition's troops, ex(?)-bigot who suggested numerous ways to torture mages just because some of them tortured him, definition of "shy christian boy" meets the "i can fix him" girl (me);

Dorian Pavus — prettiest woman of Thedas who's also an Indian twinkotron 3000; homosexual heir of an important family who suffers from having to not let himself get attached to anyone because he could never marry them, naturally this leads him to believe that being a wealthy faggot is the biggest strife in the whole world and makes him forget that he's an actual slave owner. whoops! who cares anyway right?

also, just wanted to say that i pictured Yonathan as Ronan Raftery playing Robert Gestalt in The Rook but looking more like Cullen rather than fucking Draco Malfoy, you're free to think of that fic as an Anchor by Novo Amor songfic, for it is one, and that English is not my first language :3

👊 Moff Gideon. Even though she doesn’t really learn about what happened with him on the ship until after the fact, I feel like if Din had told her what was up it would have been a solid re-enactment of that “hold my flower” meme.

👊 Valin Hess. She met him a couple of times on Nibir when he came to do business with her father on behalf of the Empire. Their interactions were... uncomfortable, to say the least.

👊 Silas. (Not technically canon, but still)

Margaery

👊 Mother Giselle. The absolute disrespect she has for Dorian sends Margaery up the wall. She already didn’t like Mother Giselle because she wanted Margaery to lie to Dorian. And then after the mission she has the audacity to insult him in front of her?? Margaery nearly threw hands on the spot.

👊 Sera. A lot of this stems from my own personal love-hate relationship with her. Margaery likes her in an annoying-little-sister way, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t want to strangle her ninety percent of the time.

👊Bianca. In essence: “You’re really gonna stab Varric in the back and then threaten me??” Girl bye 👋👋👋
