Blue Murphy

Name: Jay Casey Murphy Nickname: Family and Close Friends call them Blue Jay while most others call them Blue. They're also called Deputy, Dep, Rookie, and Rook in Hope County. Eden's Gate occasionally refers to them as wrath. Gender: Genderfluid (They/Them) Star Sign: Aries Personality Type: Chaotic Good Height: 5’6 ft Orientation: Bisexual Nationality/Ethnicity: American (Blue is originally from West Virginia, but spent most of their adulthood in Colorado before moving to Hope County, Montana.) Favorite Fruit: Mangoes. Blue has a bit of a sweet tooth. Favorite Season: Winter. They think mountains always look great covered in snow and love to go hiking in snowy parts. Blue is also a snowboarder, and winter is the perfect time for that. Favorite Scent: Pine Tree Needles Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate: Hot Chocolate with lots of marshmallows and whipped cream. Average Hours of Sleep: Before Hope County, roughly 6-8 hours. After the reaping kicks off, Blue’s average hours of sleep varies. Dogs or Cats: Both. They love Boomer and Peaches equally, spoiling both animals. Dream Trip: Kicking Horse. They've heard wild things about the slopes, and Blue would love to try them out someday. Number of Blankets: One. Before Hope County, Blue had a nice quilt that they slept with. Before the Reaping, Blue sent that quilt along with most of their things back to Colorado. Random Fact: I might have said this before, but Blue's favorite time of day is dawn. Something about watching the sun rise makes them feel happy to be alive.

Name: Rooney Shepard Nickname: Most refer to Rooney by their last name. It is very rare for anyone to refer to Rooney by their first name. Those that are allowed to call them by their first name are people that they deeply trust and care for. In their ME universe, Thane uses Siha as a term of affection. Gender: Agender (They/Them) Star Sign: Aries Personality Type: Neutral Good Height: 5’10 ft. Orientation: Rooney would probably say they fall somewhere on the asexual spectrum, leaning towards demisexuality. Nationality/Ethnicity: Canadian/American in their cyberpunk verse. They have Irish heritage in both universes. Favorite Fruit: Apples Favorite Season: Fall Favorite Scent: Cinnamon or Leather Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate: Tea. They normally drink black tea, but their real favorite is cinnamon tea or something similar. Average Hours of Sleep: In an ideal world, Rooney would simply not need sleep. However, their hours of sleep vary depend on their workload/how deep they're in on a case. Dogs or Cats: Rooney is fine with cats and dogs, but they prefer hamsters, especially their Hamster, Shepard Jr. Dream Trip: Anywhere and Everywhere. In both verses, Rooney grew up in a sheltered town, reading about the world/galaxy and dreaming about it. (In their ME universe, it's part of the reason Rooney joined the Alliance.) Although, a part of Rooney would love to explore a completely unknown, never inhabited before planet. Number of Blankets: They have a basic comforter, but their favorite is a cooling weighted blanket. (Rooney gets hot at night.) Random Fact: Rooney is a puzzle fiend. They always have some sort of word search, crossword, Sudoku, etc. open on their device.

Name: Hunter Shea Delaney Nickname: Dearheart by Wesker. Occasionally, people refer to Hunter by their last name. Gender: ¯(ツ)/¯ (They/Them) Star Sign: Scorpio Personality Type: Chaotic Neutral Height: 6 ft Orientation: Bisexual with a preference for mean blonds Nationality/Ethnicity: American (They're originally from Brooklyn, New York.) Favorite Fruit: Cherries Favorite Season: Summer. Back when they weren't infected, Hunter liked going out to paint landscapes during the summer. Favorite Scent: Wesker’s cologne. It makes Hunter feel safe. Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate: Coffee, preferably black. They're not really into super fancy drinks. (Actually, if you handed Hunter a very fancy coffee, their response would most likely be 'What the fuck is this?') Average Hours of Sleep: Depends on if it’s a good or a bad night, but anywhere from 3-5 hours. Dogs or Cats: Dogs. They’re literally so black dog coded. Dream Trip: The Louvre in Paris, France, and The Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy. (In truth, Hunter would love to go see any art gallery/museum, but these two have always interested them. Number of Blankets: Hunter likes a thick comforter, but usually sleeps with one to two blankets. (Wesker’s jacket also gets stolen as a blanket from time to time.) 40. How does your OC handle grief?

Pretty bad. Casey has anger spikes and will lash out at those she claims guilty. During the events of Far Cry 5, she blames the Seeds for everything - she’s not wrong, and because of that her pursue for revenge is nearly blind. She wants to punish whatever it is that caused a person’s death.

When she’s older though, her ways change. Grief is something she is used to, and handles it much better, probably because she had a lot of time to process everything.

45. What are some things that annoy your OC?

Casey hates calm people - not the people, but their calm demeanor. She needs action, needs things to be done quickly. She has no time to wait, she thinks. Dealing with calmer people make her anxious and annoyed.

55. What are your OC’s thoughts on death?

She doesn’t quite accept it. She understands obviously that it’s a natural process everyone will go through, but she’s never ready to lose anyone. Maybe that’s why she’s so reckless when rescuing people; she’s desperate to see them free, to get them out of harm’s way. Casey at some point in her journey thinks she can save everyone from death, and if she can’t, she blames herself and then falls into that situation explained on question 40.

A short description about your OC:

Casey has lived in Hope County all of her life. Her father and brother both passed away when she was young, and her mother was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s, so Casey put off going to college and took up any odd jobs she could find in an attempt to help pay for her mother’s medical bills. While working in the Spread Eagle one night, she overhears Staci and Joey talking about a new position opening at the Sheriff’s department, and she practically jumps at the chance to make some decent, steady money. That dream doesn’t last long after Joseph Seed’s failed arrest. Now thrust into a position of “savior” and “leader” that she never wanted, Casey struggles with deciding what - and who - she really believes is worth fighting for.

✯ Finally felt like she has found her place in Hope County’s resistance.Callahan was useless, she had no purpose before all of this, going to work and back home to watch tv and eat junk food day after day.

✯ Had sex with Jacob. Onсe after his training he’s just closed in (like he always does, pulls you into himself in non-threatening way and you know that he won’t hurt you). Though his hands were tender, for him it likely was just an act of dominance, for Callahan - just stress release.

✯ GFHs: Callahan avoids taking Boomer, Peaches or Cheeseburger with her because she just can’t stand to see them being hurt. She also doesn’t want to take Nick away from Kim and baby. Adelaide is cool but she talks too much and distracts Callahan by mentioning John all the time. Grace and Jess play as long range team and often disapper somewhere together, Callahan feels like a third wheel in their company. Hurk and Sharky are her best amigos! The Monkey Kings club had a lot of fun destroying cultist’s shit with alternations to drunk fishing. But mostly Callahan prefers to spend time alone sprinting through Whitetail Mountains or driving with Faith’s region radio on.

✯ Didn’t like this Boshaw pyromaniac the first time she met him, anxiousafter being burned badly by cultist flamers when she’s left Dutch’s Island. But spending some time with him in Hurk’s company, she got into Sharky and his attachment to her. Their friendship started to turn into something more. Few nights Callahan couldn’t get off to sleep thinking “is Sharky fingerblasting all his girls because his d..” NEVERMIND. Callahan was going to try to make the first move (if he reciprocates of course) after finally arresting Joseph in his compound.

✯ Joseph - she has heard about him before the warrant, so Callahan expected him to be convincing and charismatic (she knows this shit from documentaries about Branch Davidians and Rajneeshees). Even after the Collapse she couldn’t read his intense gaze and didn’t know how to feel about him. Joseph has never hurt her and is always gentlebut who the fuck knows what’s happening in his head. If he hadn’t proclaim himself her Father they could become a family (haha), but Joseph had distanced himself after saving her (for many reasons, I guess). For 17 years Callahan’s mind slowly decayed in isolation and Joseph has never tried to take advantage of her or draw closer emotionally.

✯ Yes, John’s unbelievably blue eyes have fascinated Callahan during the baptism, even in his bunker it all felt like dangerous flirtation. She hurried to Falls End church excited and not knowing how John’s invitation would end. She shouldn’t have asked Nick for help after his torture, he is too good in crashing peggies planes. John’s death became the point of no return and everything escalated quickly afterwards.

✯ Callahan felt that Jacob was nurturing her and wouldn’t kill her. Somehow he was the most honest and intimate person in Hope County for her, even closer than Sharky, and it was never about lust. Did he conditioned her for final sacrifice knowing that Callahan wouldn’t kill him on her own? Did he even tell Joseph that he was dying? Had anyone else noticed Jacob’s sickness in his videos or were they too faithful tosee the real him?

✯ Faith intimidated Callahan by her phone messages, manipulationsand Dep’s developing Bliss addiction. To be honest, Callahan felt relief when Faith died. It doesn’t mean she didn’t feel sorry, she has mourned all of them.

you have always hurt. you hold it carefully, and twisted in such a way that other people don't have to see it. you don't choke on it. you don't drown. you just have it, the way some people have freckles, this is a thing that lives in your bones. you fold instead of fighting because you know how to make yourself small, tuck away the places where they have clawed at, swallow the bruises so you seem clean. nobody needs to see it. you will live through this on your own. you know what you need, and relief isn't it. this doesn't mean you cannot reach out - it means it is not in your nature to do so. you should. hiding does not mean you won't be seen.
