Briar is compassionate but can also be a leader type of person. She is skilled in a lot of subjects that it almost looks effortless, she appreciates the praise she gets but in return she also uses her skills to help out other people. She is seen as a person worthy of respect by a lot of people.

Very open-minded and would not shun anyone regardless of their background because she knows how it feels. Her motherly attitude stems from her lack of a mother figure in a portion of her life.

However, she tends to try too hard even if she is exhausted. She tries to be her best for her father and even goes out of her way to try and bond with him a little even if it was fruitless in the end. She tends to be affection-starved and anyone who is close to her can tell, she feels proud when she is given praise.

Briar can maintain her composure even if nobles whisper behind her back, she can very much handle herself by keeping a stoic mask. But there have been times it tends to crumble and she would have a breakdown in her room where no one would hear her.

Family Life

Briar’s mother passed away after giving birth, the old lady who was a neighbor of the mother took care of Briar a few days before Roland came and adopted Briar. Briar grew up not knowing the warmth of a parent as the king was always busy and even if he had time, he didn’t want to upset the nobles.

Though he did provide Briar with tutors, servants and expensive gifts but as if that made her feel any better when the tutors and servants who grew up in a certain mindset would talk behind her back or look at her as if she’s done a heinous crime.

It didn’t help that her stepmother and stepbrother often had to scold her for trying to bother the king even though all she wanted was to at least greet him. She was reminded of a cruel social rule amongst the pure blood nobles, “stick to your own kind”.

Ever since, Briar has tried to try and give off the proper royal image to show them that she can be just as good as they claim to be, if her father acknowledges her then they will realize it too.

At first, she tends to stress herself out and didn’t even smile genuinely until the incident that led her to meet the Foxtwill family that she started to at least feel affection for the first time. She then started to hang around the palace less often unless there was an event or ball scheduled.

Briar has gained a good reputation amongst the commoners who are made up of different races. She put all her effort and authority as a royal on improving the lifestyle and economy of the commoners. She at least has this permission and there would be no one who would stop her from doing so as she was still performing her duties.

Childhood Memories

Briar’s most vivid childhood memories in the palace were all sad and lonely. The most painful memory was when she was expecting her father if he would plan a birthday ball for her just like he would for Aurus. However, she wasn’t even greeted a “Happy Birthday”, there was no ball held and even if there was, it wasn’t about Briar.

Though she learned to stop expecting a birthday party for her, it still hurt her feelings every time. That is to say, when she spent her birthday with the Foxtwills during the time when there wasn’t an event at the palace, she decided to go see the Foxtwills who surprised her with a cake and handmade gifts.

She cried that day, out of happiness and sadness. Happy that she had people that care about her but also sad because why couldn’t her father do something this small for her? She would’ve been happy with just a greeting.

Her next memory was when she first met Gula, taking home the egg and eagerly waiting for the day it hatched made her feel a lot of emotions. The moment her eyes looked upon the hatchling’s gaze, she felt like there was a true companion with her and would be loyal to her.

Briar is a 3rd Year Rosadormienti student and is the current dorm leader.

She is known as the strongest student in the whole academy as well as the top student. Many admire her and are inspired to work hard. Briar is always humble and wouldn’t make comments if a student was falling behind on studies, there would be study groups from time to time and the ones with the highest grades would tutor the ones who need the support.

Briar also excels at magical spells, those who competed against DCA were said to feel frustrated that they couldn’t get past Briar’s defense. There were some rumors about her facing off against Malleus Draconia during a magift tournament one time, which was true that the two were powerhouses during the match. Briar only lost because she exhausted herself and Malleus took the opportunity to defeat her team.

On the outside, people praise her for being a top mage in her school but the school knows her as a reliable “Mom” friend who has the tendency to sleep on a lot of weird places. There were times her friends spot her sleeping in places that aren’t supposed to be slept in. No one knows why she ends up there and Briar doesn’t even know either.

School Relationships

Briar used to be a little distant when she attended the school but over time she got close with a handful of students. Such as Evonie, Vidya, Ella and Perrine.

Evonie and Vidya’s confident and strong personalities as well as rivalry were a shock to her. But then they sparked a competitive drive in her and made her feel included. For once, she was allowed to act how she wanted with no one to criticize her.

Ella’s fascination for Briar’s beauty and lineage reminded her of the young Foxtwill children. And Ella always was very sweet to her, it was like the sibling that she wished Aurus was. Yes, even though she envied him, a part of her wished he would at least try to get to know her.

Perrine somehow seemed to see through the mask of regality that Briar wears, she has met a few people who can read her like a book but Perrine was the first to talk to her about it. She told her words that she wanted to hear all this time.

Briar’s relationship with Willow is more on the former seeking guidance in the latter. Willow’s form is from Briar’s need for a voice to tell her that she is enough and she is noticed. Willow feels sad for her charge not being able to have a happy memory with her family.

But as much as she wants to yell an earful in Briar’s father, she can’t because this matter needs to be handled by Briar when the time comes. So, she becomes the conscience that always tells Briar positive things to help her self-esteem.

Gula

Briar has a black dragon named, “Gula”, he was found as an egg when Briar almost went missing during a hunting party for the nobility, not like anyone would care though. She had to beg in front of her father to let her keep it until he reluctantly did so but she had to promise that there won’t be any problems with whatever hatched out of it. Briar kept her word took good care of the egg until it hatched.

Gula became protective of Briar and wouldn’t listen to anyone other than her. His species of dragon is classified as a mix between a toad and a volcanic dragon. It was only until she read a book about dragons that she realized that his species were known for being aggressive and a danger if approached, they also loved to ingest ore due to their stomachs being able to melt even iron.

But Gula is such a baby who would follow her around and scare away the servant who even come a feet closer to them. Briar often kept Gula in her room and fed him quality ore, though bathing was a bit difficult, Gula hates bathing and is the only time he would try to avoid Briar. She thinks he’s such a child for not wanting to bathe.

Gula has the ability to eat rocks and spew them out as green, flaming orbs. He also can lift five times his own weight. He also is surprisingly a fast flyer despite the chubby body.

Lusio

An Arabian horse that Briar purchased at an event once. He is a proud horse who may come off as arrogant at first. He cares a lot about winning and will whine about losing, Briar has to comfort him if they ever lose, which rarely happens. Lusio is skilled in many horse contest categories but he is known for racing the most.

Her unique magic is called, “Three Gifts”. She can use three elements and even combine them for a more powerful spell. Though this would tire her out quite a lot due to her being only a half-blood.

Apart from her UM, she specializes in healing magic and spells that manipulate nature to an extent which is considered an incredible feat. She would have been recognized as one of the top mages if the nobles weren’t pushing her younger brother to the international public while they kept her in the dark.

Roland Stephan Auroria

The fairy king who loved a human woman. After losing his lover when she gave birth to Briar, he kept her at the palace but due to the pressures of tradition as well as the guilt of leaving the one he loved to die alone, he let his fear overcome him leading him to ignore Briar so as not to lose the respect and praise of the nobles.

He does provide her with servants and tutors and even allows her to roam outside, at least up to the limitations placed on a royal. But other than that he hasn’t contributed to anything nor tried to defend her when the nobles gossip about her.

His relationship with Eletha was merely political and he can’t really stand up to her whenever she reminds him to keep to traditions. He was a coward with no courage to even stand for his own opinions.

Eletha Lilith Auroria

The king’s second wife. She is very strict on keeping traditional beliefs and makes sure to keep Briar away from the prince. Constantly reminding the king about the importance of keeping to the same group and upholding the tradition of pure bloods belong with other purebloods while half-bloods belong with other half-bloods.

She doesn’t outright bully her; she just blatantly ignores her like the other pure blood fairies do. Though she is taking proper care of Aurus, she only wants him to look good in front of the nobles to the point where she would do a lot of events that will give him a good reputation even if it wasn’t his own contribution.

Aurus Gladio Auroria

The prince who is also Briar’s younger step brother that will inherit the throne because he is the only child in the family who is a pure blood fairy. He follows in his mother’s guidance and ignores Briar, though he wonders why his father bothered to keep her in the palace at all. He never got to know Briar and sometimes catches a glimpse of her wandering the palace gardens.

He is easily swayed by nobles and would often be lead to believe that he is the best and the most brilliant even though he tends to skip lessons to play outside, not like his parents or tutors would scold him for it. Thus, he ends up becoming naïve with no idea what to do without any guidance of some sort.

Amare Casia

Roland’s first love. She was a commoner and a human with merely just a flower shop to her name, she met the fairy king who was wounded in her garden after he was careless and was thrown off his horse.

She brought him into her house to help him recover, he fell for her the moment his eyes met hers. Even after he recovered he continued to visit her until it was one night they spend together that led to her pregnancy.

He was petrified at what the council might say so he asked her to keep quiet which she reluctantly agreed to. Amare started to regret her naïve romance with Roland as she spent those nine months alone with only her old lady neighbor as her support.

She passed away after giving birth to Briar and she was left to be taken care of by the neighbor who now occupied the old flower shop. It was when the king returned he finds out what happens, out of guilt he takes Briar to his castle. Briar’s looks resemble her mother’s so much that the king can’t help but remember the woman he left to suffer all alone.

Yolanda Foxtwill

A fox beastwoman who married a half fairy. The seamstress of the Tailor Shop that is a family-run business. She saw Briar all soaked in the rain when the carriage that was supposed to take her back to the palace, didn’t arrive. The poor child caught a cold while standing outside and Yolanda offered to keep her in the house until she feels better.

When the royal guards knocked on their door, they were shocked when she realized that the child in her house was a princess. Briar reassures them that they are safe from any supposed punishment. Yolanda reached out to Briar because she saw the sorrow in her eyes.

And from then on, Yolanda welcomes Briar to live with them when the palace gets unbearable to her. Outright thinks she is better suited to be queen instead of the narrow-minded royals.

Ash Foxtwill

Yolanda’s husband who delivers the clothes and fabrics made by his wife. He is a buff man who is half fairy that married a fox beast woman. He loves his wife and he treats Briar like his own daughter.

He can’t hide his excitement whenever Briar had time to bring Gula along, he’s always had a soft spot for animals. For some odd reason, Briar is approached by a lot of animals which is a heaven for the buff man.

A big softie who comforts Briar and was the only father figure who gave her the encouragement she needed to hear, he will enthusiastically proclaim that Briar is the image of how royals should be. He in charge of making corsages that are cute and popular among the other villagers.

Oliver Foxtwill

The eldest son who takes care of silkworms that make the materials for the cloth. He is a skilled weaver and has a soft spot for silkworms, he once tried to convince others how cool silkworms are but that didn’t go well.

He once mentioned sneaking a live silkworm into the King’s pants to teach him a lesson, Briar hopes he’s joking… He respects Briar a lot after she helped out the commoners despite how nobles talk behind her back.

Olivia Foxtwill

The youngest daughter who admires Briar because she is an actual princess. She loves to play dress up and shows Briar all the dresses she will wear when she marries a prince. She has the typical girly personality and dislikes getting dirty.

Briar tends to spoil Olivia a bit by sending her dresses she sewed herself. Olivia wishes that she would have Briar as an older sister. You would think that she would also want Briar to marry a prince but due to how disrespectful the nobles were known to be, she claims that she will be the judge of who Briar’s suitor is.

The character’s name, “Briar” is derived from the name the three fairies used to hide Aurora’s identity, while her last name, “Auroria” is just Aurora with rearrangements on the letters.

Briar is the one with the most detailed backstory mainly because Sleeping Beauty was one of the films the artist watched a lot other than Cinderella.

The concept of Briar’s unfortunate home life came from the idea of her being half-fairy. The artist thought it would be boring if she seemed too perfect. It would turn her into a Mary Sue if that was the case. There should be conflict on her character and flaws.

Her character design is close to the original Disney princess she is based on with a few differences, mainly her hair style lacking the curled bangs that Aurora has.

DCA Info Part 18: Rosadormienti Dorm 💤🌹😘

Rosadormienti (ロサドルミエンティ寮, Rosadorumienti Ryō) was founded on the Dreams (夢) of the Slumbering Princess and is inspired by the world of Sleeping Beauty. Students of this dorm excel in General Magic.

Dorm Founder: Aurora

Known in-universe as the Slumbering Princess (睡眠の王女).

Dorm Crest

The dorm crest features a shield like emblem with a pale gold exterior outline and lavender interior. Within the center of the interior is a crown that resembles the same one Princess Aurora wears. The top part of the emblem features three roses with the one in the center being red, the right one being green and the left one being blue. Near the bottom of the emblem, there is a banner with the dorm's name on it. There are thorny vines on the top and sides of the exterior and the upper part of the emblem's interior.

Dorm Leader: Briar Auroria

Rosadormienti's current dorm leader is Briar Auroria, a student who possesses powerful magic and has fairy blood flowing through her veins.

Dorm Fairy: Willow

Willow (ウィロー, U~irō) is Rosadormienti's dorm fairy and vice dorm leader. She is known for wanting to get to know people better and is shown to praise her current master. She keeps everything neat and tidy and is a busybody, looking for something to do. She makes sure everything is organized and neat, she uses magic to change the color of the tapestry in the dorm when the seasons change to match the aesthetic. You can expect that in any weather or holiday, the dorm will still look radiant.

Her current appearance is manifested through Briar's desire to have a fairy godmother to watch over her when she feels so lonely. As a child she never really had anyone to talk to as they merely converse with her because of their duty, she always wondered if a fairy godmother blessed her with gifts maybe then she would be accepted.

Dorm Living Quarters

• The exterior of the Rosadormienti dorm living quarters is made from white marble and has several spires surrounding the base of the building. In every spire, roses and ivy vines grow and latch onto the walls making it look straight out of a fairytale.

• The interior has a fireplace in the lobby that is completely made out of polished stone so no flammable objects are placed in there.

• Outside of the dorm living quarters lies a secret pathway to walk around. The forest path also has a small cave where a monster sleeps, but the monster belongs to the dorm leader so there won't be any worries. Though it is known to be gluttonous.

• There are also berry bushes and fruit trees that grow around the area. Some of the dorm tenants hold picnics there or just enjoy a nap under the shade and the students often have hanging baskets on their windowsills, to feed the birds and small animals that come by ocassionally. You can hear the sounds of wildlife almost everywhere.

• Some of the plants here are sentient and are placed at the entrance of the dorm living quarters to repel against intruders and trespassers. (Though this is mostly so that the animals don't wander around in the lobby, as lovable as the animals are, no one wants animal poop in the building).

Etymology

The dorm's name is a portmanteau of the Latin words "rosa" meaning "rose" and "dormienti" meaning "sleeping". Both reference Aurora's other aliases, with the former referencing her peasant identity "Briar Rose" and the latter being her more famous one, "Sleeping Beauty". The dorm's name is additionally derived from Latin words, referencing how Aurora's real name is Latin for the word "dawn".

As soon as Amare passed an old woman took care of her flower shop and her child. Though the woman cared for her, she also wished someone would take care of the child since she's too old.

On one night, a figure broke inside and whisked the baby away, once far away they brought out a mirror and passed her through.

Lona cracked her neck, another successful mission. As she walked down a old desolated road filled with roses, she heard crying. Curious and concerned, she followed.

She was dumbfounded to find a child in the center of thorns. She glanced around, seeing no evidence to how they placed the child here baffled her.

She walked away but the child cried louder, she bit her lip. Heaving a sigh, she turned back and took the child with her.

Her parents were thoroughly surprised at this but were happy.

Asami: "What's her name?"

Lona hesitated but she knew it was perfect.

"Briar."

Lona did her best to raise Briar but it was hard with her job, thankfully her parents were there.

At three, Briar got a little sister as present, Valerie.

It was this time Lona had to be gone for three years so both girls were raised by they're grandparents and it brought them closer together.

Briar loves her littles sister and vice versa, Briar often pulls Valerie in line if her bloodlust gets the better of her.

Since Briar looks just like Lona, everyone assumes they're related biologically.

Briar is still the same as her canon version, but has a certain deadliness that Kemonohito's are know for.

Due to Briar's narcolepsy her training is vastly different. She focuses more on stealth opposes to Valerie's soldier like training.

Briar still dislikes sushi, but the reason is because the smell nauseated her a bit.

Briar still went to regular school while Valerie was stuck in homeschool ever since the "incident." The older girls was still enraged that they still think her sister was in the wrong.

Both she and Valerie got pulled into Twisted Wonderland at the same time but landed in different schools. Valerie was in NRC while Briar was in DCA.

Briar had a better time in DCA compared to where her sister was. She was placed in Rosadormienti and a first year despite her age.

It took a while to get used to too everything, but she was enjoying herself, and even made friend with dorm leaders.

It was when Valerie was in DCA for a student exchange is when they found each other. Both girls were so happy to see each other again.

Both told their stories on how they were in they're own schools, Briar was tempted to poison Crowley.

The blonde was surprised and concerned on the amount of men she charmed unknowingly but she can see how much they cared for her. Naturally she's protective of her, seeing Valerie so oblivious.

When Diasomina met Briar, both Lilia and Malleus knew she was fae and they suspected the 'sister' don't know either.

Appearance and Personality

Appearance: Sylvie has a petite but tall female body build. She has long curvy cadmium green hair and ties it up into a high pony-tail. She has ebony black eyes which they can turn into carmine red when using her half-myth abilities. Sylvie has a calm and well-mannered figure but she has a sweet personality.

Personality: Sylvie is a middle class noble which she lives in the same house district where Kiara's estate is located. Like Kiara, Cynthia and Nerine, she is a noble but is a middle class just like Cynthia.

Like Kiara and Cynthia, she too is an heiress to her family's name but is a self-taught noble, when it comes to knowledge, she takes it by guessing it correctly and has plenty of it that will impress other people, mostly her mom and aunt.

Her family runs a flower shop near the market place.

Despite through that, she just only wanted to live her life to the fullest, so she doesn't want her own noble status to get in the way.

Sylvie has a well-mannered but sweet personality, is most likely calm around the school. She has a very enchanted presence around the school which is most likely interested whenever she's around the school campus.

She holds a mysterious aura which the students couldn't help but to be curious about her. Sylvie is rather quiet but she is friendly and has a sister-like personality

If you get close to her eventually, she does have a interesting personality towards gardening and perfume making, certainly is why she loves flowers and gardening. Her smile is definitely the purest smile you'll ever see.

Like the others, Sylvie is the Head Scientist of the SIDC company and is on Lynette's team and is an active worker, she takes her job quiet seriously and won't let any distraction get to her when it comes towards cases.

Like any other Sky-myth, don't try to test her patience. When being messed with or getting pissed seriously, she doesn't mind putting you into a thorn bush or will use her thorny vines to strangle you eventually within a second. Same thing towards her loved getting hurt but even more violent or brutal than normal.

Despite being well-mannered, she hopes to help anyone to those in needed, please ignore her status and treat her like a normal companion.

She prefers to dance in a techno or gothic way because it’s a little more effective since when she does a gothic dance, it creates ghosts and for techno, it creates electric cubes mincraft music plays. The dance has to last at least 5 seconds before it activates.

Personality:

Astra is quite shy around people and doesn’t trust anyone easily because she isn't allowed out much. When she’s behind the camera, the facade of a confident and popular girl shows up. Her family is full of warriors, so it’s natural that she is great at magic and handling a sword. Because Astra gets limited free time, she tries to enjoy it to the fullest. One thing that she absolutely HATES about herself is how she gets jealous all of the time even if it’s just one of her friends with another person in a group project. Lucinda Aurum Headcanons:

•Lucinda is well known as the cool headed and assertive student, but she has a scary temper when a boy tries to hit on her younger sister, Stella. She's very protective of Stella who she dearly cares about and the only family member whos always on her side.

•Lucinda's nickname is "Lulu" which is given by Aka. She didnt mind the nickname since its quite endearing to hear everyone calling her Lulu all the time.

•Her school uniform was designed by Stella because Lucinda isn't very fashionable with her own outfit and might end up choosing a simpler design. So Stella took the opportunity to design her uniform for her. Ironically, Lucinda is very nitpicky with styling for others but herself isnt, she doesnt't see why she should style herself when she doesn't want to stand out and will end up looking snobbish.

•She has a fear of closed dark spaces because she was accidentally locked up inside a closet while playing hide n seek with Stella and she was stuck there for 6 hours.

•Her unique magic is "Soul Jump". She can get her soul out of her body and possess other animals and human beings for a long time. However this leaves her body cold and unattended and can be mistaken as a corpse if she didn't put her body in a proper area. The soul that's in the body she's possessing will fall asleep or stays awake depending on how strong the body's soul is. It is possible to kick her soul out

•Her unique magic developed when she wants to put herself in Stella's shoes when Stella was too stunned to continue performing so she used "Soul Jump" to possess Stella's body and took her place so she doesn't get humiliated.

•She has a full grown chicken named "Buttercup". She found Buttercup when she hatched from the egg in the cartons while she was trying to cook. Buttercup is usually seen sitting on top of Lucinda's head or sitting on any comfy sofa and lays her menstrual eggs there, much to other students' dismay. She's a very feisty chicken and is somehow good at cockfighting that she was able to scare and assert dominance towards roosters.

•Lucinda is from the famous Aurum Jewelry Company, despite Lucinda is the rightful heiress to the company, it was all taken away by her stepmother and had given it to her half younger sister, Stella. Lucinda's mother died when she was only 5 years old, so her father remarried to his secret lover and had a child with named Stella. Lucinda and Stella share the same father but different mothers.

•Lucinda, who was naive and innocent back then, wasn't fazed by the fact her father got remarried and quickly became good terms with Stella because she felt lonely being an only child. Lucinda and her stepmom also became in good terms but it was only a facade in her stepmom's case.

•Lucinda's father died when she turned 12 and this is where her stepmom took control over the company and dropped her facade. She took away Lucinda's birth right and gave it to Stella who isn't gifted enough to be an heiress due to her timid nature. Lucinda wasn't able to fight back and take her title because she fears that she'd be kicked out of her home so she begged her stepmom to give her a role in the company. So with the persuasion of Stella, Lucinda became the adviser for Stella.

•After that incident, Lucinda decided to be protective over Stella because she is the only one who is on her side, and resents her stepmom. She sometimes doesn't want to go back home during breaks and rather stays somewhere else than seeing her.

•Her goal is to find her purpose other than being Stella's adviser, on her own pace and skills with no help from anyone because she believes her purpose will be found if she does it alone.

DCA Info Part 2: About Diamond Crown Academy

Basic Information

Diamond Crown Academy (also known as DCA) is an all-girls college for both magically-gifted and non-magic students. Unlike Night Raven College and Royal Sword Academy, the academy is not famous for just the powerful students with magic, it is also famous for the graduates who provide their knowledge and skills for the community. The academy also is famous for the idol performances that are viewed worldwide as well as the joint school festival where students from Night Raven College and Royal Sword Academy come together to enjoy the festivities on Diamond Crown Academy school grounds.

Unlike Night Raven College, which has seven dorms, Diamond Crown Academy has ten and each are modeled after a certain Disney Princess. These dorms are:

Relationships with NRC and RSA

The school is mostly a "peacemaker" for Night Raven College and Royal Sword Academy and (as mentioned above) an occasional school festival held for all three schools on the campus of Diamond Crown Academy. Everyone enjoys the food and activities the academy has set up, both Night Raven College and Royal Sword Academy look forward to such an event as it was always spectacular and memorable.

Transportation

In a similar fashion to Night Raven College, a carriage brings the students to the academy. However, unlike the mostly gothic aesthetic of the Ebony Carriage, the carriage used to transport new students to Night Raven College, Diamond Crown Academy's carriage has a mostly pastel/cutesy aesthetic to it, with the interior functioning similarly to a bed, with pastel colors, a soft matress and plush pillows. The carriage's exterior is white and is decorated with gold detailing and it is pulled by white horses.

Uniforms

Unlike the standard uniform of Night Raven College, the standard campus uniforms of Diamond Crown Academy are modified to fit the students' liking, with only indicator of their dorm is the color scheme of one of the ten heroines (Author's Note: I say heroines because Alice isn't considered a Disney Princess) as well as the color of the gem brooch on their uniform. The Futterwacken dorm uses custom keys instead of brooches.

DCA Info Part 62: Meet Darling Prince 👑

Darling Prince (ダーリン・プリンス, Dārin Purinsu) is a 2nd year student affiliated with the Rosadormienti dormitory. She was created to serve as a "meme character" according to Phoenix.

Appearance

Darling is a fair skinned girl with short platinum blonde almost white hair with pink shadows and straight-cut bangs as well as having fuchsia pink eyes. She is shown to have pink painted fingernails. She is commonly shown holding her gold cased phone.

School Uniform

At school, Darling wears a white puff sleeved blouse with the collar having one gold diamond each. The blouse is worn underneath a two-toned pink and blue tailcoat vest with gold trim, with the pink side having navy blue gem buttons and the blue side having pink buttons. Darling's silver heart swirled brooch with a heart shaped fuchsia gem is located on the left side of her vest. The bottom half of her uniform consists of a two layered periwinkle skirt with an argyle print. For footwear, Darling wears a pair of plum colored heels with light brown soles and bow shaped straps alongside a pair of white below-the-knee socks.

Darling accessorizes with a silver tiara with three fuchsia gems, with two of them being diamond shaped and the one in the center being heart shaped. She also has a periwinkle argyle tie. For jewelry, Darling wears a gold crown shaped ring with a fuchsia gem on her right hand and a pink and purple beaded bracelet with a silver heart charm on her left arm.

Original Appearance

Darling's original appearance bore a striking resemblance to the character she was based on. Here, she had short salmon colored hair and blue eyes. She accessorized with a silver tiara with a "Hidden Mickey" on it.

DCA Info Part 28: Meet Briar Auroria 🌹

Briar Auroria (ブライアー・オーロリア, Buraiā Ōroria) is the dorm leader of Rosadormienti. A half-human, half-fairy hybrid who possesses powerful magic but is neglected by her family, especially her father.

History

Briar was born and raised in the Slumbering Willows. She was born an illegitimate child to the late Amare Casia, a mortal woman and Roland Stephan Auroria, a powerful pure-blood fairy who's the monarch of the Slumbering Willows. Amare died in childbirth, leaving Briar in Roland's care. Roland felt guilty for leaving Amare to suffer all alone, however due to the pressures of tradition and fear of losing the respect of his people, he allowed fear to blind him, which lead to him neglecting Briar. While he does provide her with caretakers and tutors and even allows her to roam the palace's exterior, he never contributed to anything nor does he attempt to defend her when the nobles gossip about her.

Two years after taking Briar in, Roland remarried Eletha Lilith, which in turn resulted in her son, Aurus becoming a prince and moreover, the crown prince due to being a pure-blood fairy. Eletha is very strict on keeping traditional beliefs and constantly reminds the king about the importance of keeping to the same group and upholding the tradition of pure bloods belong with other purebloods while half-bloods belong with other half-bloods. She additionally makes sure to keep Briar away from her son, while she doesn't outright bully her; she just blatantly ignores her like the other pure blood fairies do. Aurus follows in his mother's guidance and ignores Briar, though he wonders why his father bothered to keep her in the palace at all. Due to this neglect, Briar felt unwanted and unloved.

At some point during her childhood, Briar was waiting for her carriage to bring her to the palace on a stormy night, however the carriage never showed up, which resulted in her catching a cold. Fortunately for her, a fox beastwoman saw her and rushed to her aid, this woman's name was Yolanda Foxtwill. Yolanda offered her shelter in her home until she could recover and was in shock when the royal guards arrived at her home, which resulted in her realizing that Briar was royalty, but fortunately for the Foxtwill Family, Briar protected them from punishment. Since meeting Briar, the Foxtwill family happily welcome her to reside with them when the palace becomes unbearable to her.

Personality

Prior to meeting the Foxtwill Family, Briar was very recluse and depressed, due to growing up in an environment where she was belittled and neglected. Due to Aurus reviving all of the praise from their family and people, Briar feels somewhat envious since he's praised for being a pure-blood while she's treated poorly for being a half-blood.

After being befriended by Foxtwill Family, Briar became more sociable and with the majority of her time spent around commoners, began to use her education for their benefit in the limited power she has. She's helpful and more open with ideas, if there is a way to solve the problem she will let people know.

Briar developed a motherly personality unconsciously to make up for the mother she never had. She has a soft spot for children and likes people who are energetic and lively because they are more fun to talk to than people who are formal.

Appearance

Briar is a tall young woman in her late-teens. She has blue eyes and long curly blonde hair with her bangs slightly obscuring her right eye. She is said to bear a striking resemblance to her late mother.

2020 School Uniform

For her school uniform, Briar originally wore a pink turtleneck top with the neck portion being lavender with rose patterning. The portions of the top are divided by gold ribbon in the shape of Princess Aurora's crown. The top also has light blue gem buttons, a gold ribbon with a tied into the shape of a bow with a magenta rose wrapped around her left shoulder and attached to it is a gold chain which is in turn attached to her brooch. The heart shaped brooch is gold and has a pink gem in the center. The sleeves of the top appear to have white rose and thorn detailing. The bottom half of her uniform consists of a knee length pink skirt with pale blue ribbon, with the right side having a bow with a magenta rose in the center. For footwear, Briar wears a pair of gold kitten heels with the straps resembling a crown.

Briar accessorizes with a three pointed tiara with three diamond shaped gems on it, with the center gem being pink, the right one being green and the left one being blue. Briar also wears a hairpiece with pink, green and blue roses on the left side of her head.

2021 School Uniform

Briar's uniform was slightly tweaked a bit, the neck portion of her turtleneck is now periwinkle blue in color and the previously light blue gem buttons are now are slightly darker shade of blue. The most notable changes are the skirt, which now reaches slightly above her ankles and the ribbon is more periwinkle blue in color. Additionally, the bow that was previously on her skirt ribbon has been converted into a sash.

First Dorm Uniform

Briar's first dorm uniform consists of a dress with a solid light pink bodice with a boat neckline that features lace and a red rose pendant attached to her brooch in the center. The top of the dress also has two layered butterfly sleeves with the top layer being a pale baby pink and the second layer being cream, underneath the butterfly sleeves are long light pink sleeves. At the waist, Briar wears a gold belt that bears a resemblance to Aurora's crown, but it's upside down. The dress's skirt is made up of two layers, with the first layer having rose patterning as well as an ombré effect, fading from deep fuchsia to periwinkle violet, the second layer is a ombré pink and reaches to her ankles. For footwear, Briar wears a pair of pink d'orsay kitten heels with gold outline, white soles, and gold straps with white lace and a red rose.

Briar retains the crown and triple rose hairpiece from her school uniform.

Second Dorm Uniform

To better fit the medieval aesthetic of Sleeping Beauty, Briar wears a deep fuchsia gown worn over a deep purple long sleeve top with a sweetheart bodice and an amber gold skirt with an elegant pattern and shiny gold trimming. For footwear, Briar wears a pair of fuchsia shoes with gold soles.

Briar retains the crown and triple rose hairpiece from her school uniform, with the addition of an amber gold veil with elegant patterning and gold trim. Briar also accessorizes with a gold necklace, an ivory colored wrap with her brooch in the center, a pair of gold armbands and a circular beaded gold belt with a flower in the center.

Solo Stage Uniform

For vocal performances, Briar wears a blue gown with the shoulder portion of the dress being turtleneck like with gold trim. Dividing the shoulder portion with the bodice and puff portions is a white fur wrap with black details and is held together by her brooch. The center of the dress's bodice is pale blue and has gold braid detailing, the rest of the bodice is pale blue and navy blue and is outlined by gold trimming. The puff sleeves are blue and navy in color with the long sleeves appear to be baby blue. At the waist, Briar wears a blue bow with a pink hydrangea flower in the center with the bottom of the bow having navy blue lace with three lighter blue stripes at the bottom. Briar additionally wears a small pink tapestry the features a pink rose with a gold crown and gold embroidery, with the addition of gold fringes and a chain of beads on top. The bottom half consists of a light blue overskirt with a gold bead chain and gold line trim, as well as a navy and blue skirt with gold trimming that features red roses, gold beads and light blue ruffle trimming. For footwear, Briar wears a pair of blue ankle boots with gold trim at the top with a red rose in the center, as well as gold detailing at the front and back.

Briar accessorizes with a crown that looks similar to her normal one, but it now has seven points. Briar also wears the triple rose hairpiece, but this time on the right side of her head.

Fairy Rose Outfit

This dress made by Briar herself consists of a pink bodice with purple trim and lavender pleated details on the top and bottom, with the top portion resembling a hand fan. The puff sleeves are blush pink, plum and deep lavender in color and feature lavender cuffs and gold roses at the top. The skirt consists of three layers, which are lavender, plum and pink, has white sparkles and an elegant pattern. For footwear, Briar wears a pair of pink moccasins with gold roses.

Briar accessorizes with a gold rose flower crown attached to a purple veil with a pink and periwinkle butterfly on it, a gold choker with a rose on it, a gold beaded necklace, a pink ribbon and a pair of gold rose waist chains with pink, blue and yellow butterflies on them.

School Statistics

Briar is an 18 year old 3rd year student. She is classified as Student #1 and is in Class 3-D. She is a member of the Griffin Scout Club and her best subject is General Magic, it is also her favorite school subject since she's learning how to use her unique magic to it's full extent. Her least favorite school subject is Obstacle Run because she gets exhausted after it and it is especially bad when she's tired from using magic.

For her idol performances, Briar has a voice fit for acapella, able to make sounds. Her voice is described to be so gentle and alluring that even animals would gather around her.

For her choreography, Briar is surprisingly an energetic dancer who can do complicated footwork. Though she prefers interpretive dance since it keeps her from getting exhausted.

Relationships

Family

Briar doesn't appear to have a relationship with her family at all, given that they ignore her. Her family caretakers and servants even speak poorly of her behind her back.

Briar's relationship with the Foxtwill Family is the complete opposite of her relationship with her own family. Yolanda and her husband, Ash treat her like their own daughter, with the former believing that she would be a better monarch than the narrow-minded royals and the latter being there to comfort and encourage her in times of need. Oliver, the older child joked about placing a live silkworm into the King's pants to teach him a lesson while the younger one Olivia admires Briar due to her being royalty. She loves to play dress up and shows Briar all the dresses she will wear when she marries a kind-hearted prince.

Pet

Briar has a pet baby dragon named Gula, who is described as being black and chubby. He likes to sleep in vacant pots and eat the coals in the fireplace. On cold nights the students would let him light up the fireplace. Gula is an actual monster, and him being so tame is another reason for Briar's popularity. He likes to cuddle with Briar and play with her hair curls and sometimes laid down on them because it was so soft. Gula serves as the guard dog of the dorm living quarters, though quite small and plump. Due to his deadly flames and powerful bite, he is a force to be reckoned with.

Fellow Students

Briar is praised, admired and respected by her fellow students, that many aspire to be like her. She often acts like a mentor to her peers, as shown when she offers to assist Elu with dinning manners.

Diamond Crown Academy Staff

Briar is the top student of DCA so basically she is the pride of the staff. But the fairy brothers are most fond of Briar because of how she seems so perfect.

But one observation with the Three Fairy Brothers changed the student teacher relationship into a family kind of relationship.

Florence often talks to her when he sees her in the hallway about how she should learn to love herself and not cling to people who don’t see her as she is. Florence is avidly praising her but he doesn’t do it extravagantly, he does it in a gentle tone that made Briar break her mask. Asher was right on his guess that Briar was the best because there must be a reason.

Faustus doesn’t have much to give other than his music since he can’t give good advice. But his music often touches the hearts of many. Briar feels calm during his classes.

Asher being the kind of teacher who can see telltale signs in a student, noticed how she grows somber at the mention of home. He can piece together what her home life is like. He’s the one who subtly signals his two brothers that Briar has something that was anchoring her.

Night Raven College Students

Riddle knowing that Briar is of a higher nobility rank than he is would be very gentlemanly and respectful towards her. She would like to dote on him because he's small but she holds herself back knowing he's capable. But she does give him praise for his accomplishments which makes him bashfully red.

Leona can understand the plight of being under someone's shadow. For him it was his elder brother, for Briar it was her young step brother. Both would know what it was like to be treated differently. Though she and Leona would just be allies regarding family problems. He's still respectful to her as she is to him.

Azul get intel on her plights and offer a contract of course. But Briar would be the few who would reject the offer, which takes Azul by surprise. Almost no one was able to resist making a contract with him. Briar would definitely dote on him since she can sense that he still holds some insecurities. There was something about Azul that makes her want to treat him like one of her juniors. Azul is flustered but still tries to maintain composure.

Vil being the queen of a man knows she's royalty. Any friend of Ella's is a friend of his. Briar would be envious of how confident he is, she couldn't even muster up the courage to look confident during formal events in her kingdom. Vil will have to drag her through a pep talk since beauty can only bloom through self confidence. He's a strict mentor but Briar appreciates it, it was way better than the disdain her personal tutors gave her. She preferred his blunt honesty rather than fake compliments. Wants to invite her to makeover slumber parties. Just loves her hair it was so soft and he wants to know what product she uses.

Briar is one of the few who isn't bothered by Rook. But she wonders how much free time does he have to observe other people, she'll never know. Some point she ends up picking out leaves and twigs out of his clothes and hair while they're talking and Rook just appreciates it, mother instincts cannot be ignored. Rook thinks that Briar is a golden butterfly and would of course do the usual complimenting the unique beauty that he's observed from her. All in all they're casual and quite friendly with each other.

Romance

Briar desires a significant other who can be there for her regardless of her bloodline and someone who can accept her for who she is, regardless if she's a hybrid or not.

Briar's unique magic is called "Three Gifts" (妖精の三つの祝福/スリー・ギフト, Surī Gifuto; lit. "Three Blessings of the Fairies"). She can use three elements (Fire, Water and Wind) and even combine them for a more powerful spell.

According to her bio, Briar's Japanese voice actress would be Minako Kotobuki, known for her role as Tsumugi Kotobuki in the anime series K-On!, in addition to having a music career.

DCA Info Part 7: Magic Rings and Gem Colors

Magic Rings

For Diamond Crown Academy, the students use rings to conjure magic instead of the pens the students of Night Raven College use. Students wear a magic ring on their of choice hand on their index/pointer finger (As wearing a ring on a pointer means leadership, confidence and authority) and the girls have to trace a sigil or sign in the air to cast strong spells, small spells just require pointing. Phoenix jokingly stated that the rings symbolize the happy endings that the OG princesses (with the exception of Alice) got with their princes. The students get to make their own choices and reap the rewards of their efforts, kind of symbolism. The design of the rings are gold with a simple round gem on it following the color gems on the student's dorms.

Gem Colors

Each stained glass portrait of the heroines are placed in the hallway of the main college building, lining the hallway with a plaque at the bottom describing the virtue they represented. The students of DCA follow their example to become a true princess. The 10 dorms are built on their image and like the gemstones that you see on the uniforms of the Night Raven College and Royal Sword Academy students.

The gem colors and virtues are shown below, with my personal theories on why the colors and virtues were chosen.

Snow White, Cinderella and Aurora

🍎 Pommeneige

The color of the gemstone on the brooch worn by students affiliated with the Pommeneige dorm is red, which matches the color of Snow White's hair ribbon, the red cloth on her puff sleeves and the interior of her cape. Red was also the color the poison apple took the appearance of in order to trick Snow White into eating it. Snow White represented the virtue of innocence. In this case, kindness and a bit of naivety. Snow White was known for being kind but also naïve, which made her fall for Queen Grimhilde's trap easily.

👠 Glastanzerin

The color of the gemstone on the brooch worn by students affiliated with the Glastanzerin dorm is white, which matches the color of Cinderella's iconic gown in the original 1950 film, which was a silver white in color. Cinderella represented the virtue of hope, always know to keep being hopeful. This feeling of hope can be shown in "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" where she encourages her animal friends to never stop dreaming and the entire theme of the song which carries out throughout the film is to keeping believing in your dreams.

🌹 Rosadormienti

The color of the gemstone on the brooch worn by students affiliated with the Rosadormienti dorm is pink, which matches the color of Aurora's dress that is mostly used for merchandise. Aurora represented the virtue of determination, never lose the drive to reach your dreams. While Aurora herself doesn't show signs of determination in her debut film, this is shown in later media.

Ariel, Belle, and Jasmine

🐚 Coquille

The color of the gemstone on the brooch worn by students affiliated with the Coquille dorm is purple, which matches the color of Ariel's seashell bikini top. Ariel represented the virtue of freedom, never forgetting that you can't be bound by anyone. Ariel herself desired freedom from her overprotective father and this is expressed by her fascination with humans and their world.

📚 Chateau Beastiale

The color of the gemstone on the brooch worn by students affiliated with the Chateau Beastiale dorm is yellow, which matches the color of Belle's iconic golden ball gown. Belle represented the virtue of loyalty and intelligence, standing by someone's side and never forgetting that knowledge is sharper than any sword. Belle stayed by the Beast's side and helped him to better himself. Belle was also famous for her intelligence.

🏝️ Magiaoasis

The color of the gemstone on the brooch worn by students affiliated with the Magiaoasis dorm is blue, which matches the color of Jasmine's sky blue casuals (although in later media and merchandise, it's colored turquoise). Jasmine represented the virtue of wittiness, using your wits to your advantage and to solve problems. Jasmine is shown to use her seductive cunning to her advantage. An example of this occurred when she faked being under the genie's influence in order to distract Jafar.

Mulan, Pocahontas and Tiana

🐲 Dragonstone

The color of the gemstone on the brooch worn by students affiliated with the Dragonstone dorm is dark red, which matches the details on the outfit Mulan wore during the climax of the original 1998 film. Mulan represented the virtue of honor and bravery, finding the courage to stand up against your fears and insecurities. Mulan disguised herself as a man to take her father's place in the war and she wanted to stay true to herself, all while bringing honor to her family.

🍂 Sagamore

The color of the gemstone on the brooch worn by students affiliated with the Sagamore dorm is orange, which is a very earthy color and Pocahontas herself has a fondness for nature. Pocahontas represented the virtue of will and wisdom, learn from others as how they learn from you. Pocahontas expressed wisdom and offered kindness and guidance to those around her.

🐸 Lagniappe

The color of the gemstone on the brooch worn by students affiliated with the Lagniappe dorm is green, matching the color of Tiana's frog form and her initial wedding dress. Tiana represented the virtue of diligence, hard work goes a long way. Tiana herself was known to be a hard worker and hoped that this would lead her to opening her own restaurant.

Alice

🐰 Futterwacken

Alice is a special case, she represents young girls growing up finding their identity. And being true to yourself is a golden lesson in the academy so that's why her stained glass is kept near the Futterwacken Dormitory built on the hill overlooking the other dormitories. This gem doesn't appear on the Futterwacken brooches because instead of brooches, they have keys of various colors.

DCA Info Part 14: Ceremonial Dorm Sorting and the Freshmen Welcoming Ceremony

Ceremonial Dorm Sorting

First years are brought to the throne room by the crystal carriage. The carriage has soft bedding inside of it and the student sleeps soundly as they are transported.

Unlike NRC's carriage that holds coffins, the student is merely slumbering on the bed provided in the carriage, the windows are covered by curtains of course. The carriage is pulled by two unicorns who are trained by the school to retrieve the chosen students.

How the unicorns can traverse through several miles with a student on top of that is a complete mystery.

When the students arrive at the academy, they are placed at the sorting room that actually has two parts. The first half is the large garden where the girls all sleep on the soft grass surrounded by mysterious flowers. While the other half is where the dorm sorting occurs.

The dorm fairies enter the garden where they will use their magic on the flowers that will awaken the students. Then they will lead the students to the dorm sorting area where the staff and the dorm leaders will wait for them.

The room looks like a crystalized ballroom. There is a fountain on the far end at the center and in front of it lies a podium where a jewelry box with a key is placed. The walls have stained glass portraits of the ten princesses where the dorm leaders will have to stand by their respective window as the dorm sorting commences.

The Royal Jewelry Box

This is a magical tool that is the prized possession of the academy, much like the Dark Mirror in NRC.

The jewelry box will only be opened by the key that is always next to it. Even though it seems like others might be able to open it easily, it won't be as simple as that.

The jewelry box has a sentience of its own and will only let the key be used to whomever it deems worthy. Anyone unworthy who tries to pick up the key would feel hot iron on their skin.

Trying to pry it open wouldn't work either and even if you drop a heavy weight on it, the box will still be in good condition.

The students will be called one by one to turn the key of the jewelry box where they will gain a jewel. This jewel will be placed on their head which will magically turn into a crown that they will wear alongside their Ceremonial Gowns.

The crown's design is based on the dorm, said design is the same for all the students of that particular dorm.

Ceremonial Crowns

🍎 Pommeneige's crown has a tree branches incorporated in it's design and has a ruby jewel.

👠 Glastanzerin's crown has a small castle incorporated in it's design and has an opal gem.

🐰 Futterwacken's "crown" consists of a flower wreath with an ametrine gem.

🌹 Rosadormienti's crown has roses and thorns incorporated in it's design and has a rose quartz gem.

🐠 Coquille's crown has seashells incorporated in it's design and has purple colored pearl.

📚 Chateau Beastiale's crown has a design reminiscent of the Beast's horns and has a topaz jewel.

🏝️ Magiaoasis's crown has swirly lines incorporated in it's design and has a sapphire jewel.

🐲 Dragonstone's crown has a dragon incorporated in it's design and has a garnet jewel.

🍂 Sagamore's crown has leaves incorporated in it's design and has an amber jewel.

🐸 Lagniappe's crown has lily pads incorporated in it's design and has an emerald gem.

The purpose of the tiara is to signify the dorm the student belongs to. Other than that it's necessary to wear the Ceremonial Crown during occasions where it is mandatory to wear their Ceremonial Gowns.

As for the rings, they will acquire those alongside the crown, as they are given by the school alongside their uniforms for both campus and dorm wear.

The rings are made with magic and can shrink or enlarge to fit the size of the finger the student chooses to wear it on.

The Freshmen Welcoming Ceremony

As the name implies, it is a ceremony to welcome the new students to Diamond Crown Academy. During the ceremony, the dorm tenants have to wear their coronation robes. But only the dorm leaders go to the throne chamber while the tenants have to make sure the welcoming party goes smoothly.

🍎 Pommeneige

The Pommeneige dorm prepares a nice warm meal such as potato and sausage stew, apple dumplings, gooseberry pie and apple cider. These dishes are essential to serve because of the princess who served the seven dwarfs the same dish as a sign of gratitude. So the students eat the meal along with the dwarfs who make them selves comfortable at the dinner table, chatting with the students and sometimes playing around. After eating, the students gather outside and they watch the dwarfs sing and dance. Sometimes the students will be tempted to join in and sing along. Then they share stories about anything they could think of before the day ends.

👠 Glastanzerin

The Glastanzerin dorm gathers the tenants to the large dining hall where there's tea and small cakes to be eaten while they make small talk. The cakes are decorated with fruits coated with nappage glaze. Afterwards, they are lead to a ballroom where the golden statues of noblemen come to life when the clock strikes 8 pm. The students then dance with the statues or just stand around and chat. The ball ends at midnight where the statues go back to their original positions and become inanimate. once again.

🐰 Futterwacken

The Futterwacken dorm will hold a chaotic tea party. They bring out the chocolate fountain that is built with several spouts that are shaped like teapots. The fountain produces about five different syrup flavors, strawberry, chocolate, cream, caramel, and maple syrup. The food they serve is a variety of tarts, waffles and cupcakes that can be decorated using several sprinkles and candies near the fountain. There's also non-dessert dishes served like scotch dodo egg, mushroom stew and tiny-to-large-sandwiches. The drinks are pink lemonade and minty earl gray tea. The teapots dance to the tune of the flowers as they sing, "All in the Golden Afternoon", where even the shrubs and trees would sway to the tune. The flowers take this chance to leave their pots and dance around the students and sometimes stand on the student's head.

🌹 Rosadormienti

For Rosadormienti, the fairies of the dorm would come out and dance about in the air and give minor blessings to the newcomers that last throughout the school year. The blessings can range from luck to protective spells to even small gifts that carry mysterious properties. The students then hold acapella shows where they sing popular songs that have the students joining in too. The dorm isn't too extravagant with the welcoming ceremony but they have fun nonetheless. When the students are asleep, the flowers release glittering pollen that gives them pleasant dreams and help them relax.

🐠 Coquille

The sea creatures and students of the Coquille dorm would attend a musical performance that the upperclassmen would prepare with the dorm leader at the center stage. They do synchronized swimming alongside other sea creatures, they finish it off with the crystal on the roof shining bright. After the performance, the freshmen students have to show their musical capabilities by doing an idol performance of their song of choice. They can perform solo or with a group if they wish. Then afterwards is the tour of the dorm where they show them their dorm rooms as well as a special visit to the Pearl Salon.

📚 Chateau Beastiale

The Chateau Beastiale dorm will of course hold a grand feast courtesy of Gustove and his floating plates accompanied by a singing chandelier. The song, "Be Our Guest", is a song that has been considered a tradition for the furniture to sing. The dishes are a variety of french cuisine and desserts for the students to enjoy. After the magnificent dinner, the students are allowed to roam about and get acquainted with one another. The freshmen are surprised that they get their own talking wardrobe, the wardrobes spend the first hour talking about what style would the student prefer so that they may do their duty to utmost perfection.

🏝️ Magiaoasis

The Magiaoasis dorm would hold their welcoming feast at the dorm's large garden area where the flamingos, peacocks and parrots would fly about and do whatever they please, occasionally a parrot or two would fly close to the students to ask for a small snack before flying off. The feast has a large spread of Middle Eastern cuisine such as, manakeesh, shawarma, baklava, and zainab fingers, with coffee and limon ou nana as refreshments. The feast isn't too extravagant but the calming atmosphere of the sunset with the sounds of chirping birds makes it feel like home.

🐲 Dragonstone

In the case of the Dragonstone dorm, there is a welcoming parade done by the dragons of the dorm, they dance and throw a golden ball around like some sort of game. The climax of the parade is when the ball is thrown high up and it explodes into a bright array of fireworks. After that, the students eat in the dining hall with the dorm leader giving a welcoming speech. The dinner isn't filled with dancing or anything, it's more of lively chatter that paints the image of a large family gathering. There's chinese hotpot, dumplings, peking duck, chow mein and wontons as the main course. Chinese snowflake cake, sticky rice cake, accompanied with complimentary fortune cookies for dessert.

🍂 Sagamore

The Sagamore dorm is more of a less grand impression but it involves students given the reminder of the harmony with the land and it's gifts. The saying, take only what you need and nothing more. There is a table filled with plenty of food such as, roasted turnips and winter squash, turkey with berry-mint sauce, and chia pudding with berries and amaranth for dessert. But they don't eat yet, they have to wait for the dorm leader to hunt one bison for the bison pot roast. The dorm leader goes to hunt for a bison but there is a strict rule that the dorm leader follows if she hunts for a bison, do not kill a female or a baby bison, and the leader of the herd must be left alone. Only hunt a male that isn't a leader, the bisons in this world have certain features that determine the leader such as large horns and a magical rune that symbolizes leader on it's body. When the dorm leader returns with a bison, the students the have the freshmen help with the preparation of cooking the bison pot roast. From there, the dorm leader gives thanks to the blessings of the earth and they tell stories while they eat.

🐸 Lagniappe

The Lagniappe dorm will always start with a jazz band playing classic jazz music or jazz covers. There's dancing and singing in the dorm, the fireflies circle around the boat as the students party.  Of course there's going to be food! The famous Gumbo made by the historical figure is to die for, beignets, jambalaya and king cake. Every dish made has to be followed accordingly to the recipes of the princess and the way she did it. Afterwards, the fireflies disperse and put on a light show for them. The animals in the swamp emerge as if to welcome the new students to the dorm. The frogs jump aboard the boat and stick close to the students as if they want to watch the show with them, this is a normal occurrence so the students are reminded to keep in mind of the frogs.

DCA Info Part 16: Glastanzerin Dorm 👠🕛🏰

Glastanzerin (グラスタンゼリン寮, Gurasutanzerin Ryō) was founded on the Generosity (寛大さ) of the Maiden of the Glass Shoe and is inspired by the world of Cinderella. Students of this dorm excel in Classical Dance and Dressmaking.

Dorm Founder: Cinderella

Known in-universe as the Maiden of the Glass Shoe (ガラス靴の乙女).

Dorm Crest

The dorm crest appears to be a shield like emblem with a silver outline, with the addition of a banner with the dorm's name on it. The inner part of the emblem is dark blue in color and features the glass slipper in front of an outline of the pumpkin carriage. Behind the emblem features a silhouette of Cinderella's castle made of various shades of cyan and blue paper.

Dorm Leader: Ella Glaciel

Glastanzerin's current dorm leader is Ella Glaciel, an airheaded and sensitive fashionista. She is even the daughter of a fashion designer.

Dorm Fairy: Bumpkin

Bumpkin (バンプキン, Banpukin) is Glastanzerin's dorm fairy and vice dorm leader. She likes anything shiny or pretty and will flock to it and admire it for long periods of time, whether it be gems, coins, cute scribbles or even metals, she is on it like glue. She uses her magic to bring the statues in the dorm's ballroom to life, she likes the waltz especially and would gush at talks about meeting prince charming with the students.

Her current appearance is modeled after Ella's childhood doll which she cherished dearly. Ella would sometimes put the doll in carved pumpkins and enjoyed pretending that the doll was the Maiden of the Glass Shoe on her way to the ball.

Dorm Living Quarters

• The Glastanzerin dorm living quarters exterior design is described as being a fusion of Cinderella's castle and the château she originally lived in. It is complete with plenty of space for the animals such as stables, pens and aviaries. The building has so many windows and it is kept so shiny that it basically glitters in the sunlight.

• There are plenty of horses in this dorm due to the wild horses that come by to graze on the field nearby. And most of the students have horses as their animal companions. They don't have a jumping course so they often ride them in a forest path to practice their riding and jumping. The pathway leads to the Pommeneige Living Quarters then to the Rosadormienti Living Quarters and finally back to the Glastanzerin Living Quarters.

• The building interior also has a lot of mouse holes and tunnels for mice to go through. The mice and other small animals help around by keeping things tidy and they have a feeding plate inside the room of the students because the mouse holes lead to the inside rather than the hallways.

• There is also has a sewing room where there is plenty of cloth, threads and many other necessities needed for making clothes. And there's a drawer to hold cloth meant for smaller animals or their pets.

• The building's interior hallways are lined with paintings of royals and of Cinderella in different elegant clothes. The students often admire the dresses she wore, especially the iconic ball gown she wore to the Prince's royal ball. That very same dress is on display on the lobby in the middle of the staircase intersection. It has a golden plaque describing the history behind the dress and no one knows what the material is made of since it was made by a fairy.

Etymology

The dorm's name is a portmanteau of the German words "glas" meaning "glass" and "tänzerin" meaning "dancer". The former referencing the glass slipper and the later referencing the royal ball where Cinderella first danced with the prince in the original 1950 film. While the original 1950 film was based Charles Perrault's adaptation, there was an adaptation of Cinderella by German authors, the Brothers Grimm.
