So, as evident by my doodles, I am getting a bit loopy. This is gonna be my last one for tonight- might not get to drawings tomorrow. My head hurts from looking at my computer non-stop. But my sexy vampire friends, BEHOLD! Another! 

Lessons learned:

1. the effect line has a “curl mode” button and makes bouncy curls. Neat.

2. Probably could have turned off the lineart on this one and let it be an actual painting.

3. To move as fast as i did, I imported my reference image to a reference layer, took it to 0% saturation, and posterized it. So, it was pixelly, but I could clearly see where every shadow needed to be. Then it was simple gridding and cartooning. that is going to be a process i use in the future- even for physical paintings.

4. Literally how did i do digital art without multiplier layers about 6 months ago? Like...how?

A Rose and a Fox

Morrigan put on one of her pretty dresses, one that was not one to be worn often except for such occasions like a date.

A date with a pretty goth lady no less!

She got some help, the help of her husband who was gentle in his touch as he helped her into into the dress and zipped up the back with a slow sensual touch.

The dress was a dramatic one, a near corset top that was partial zip with lacy to tighten - and with fabric that draped over to hook the  decorated with stars and glitter, with a large poofy skirt that reached the floor, a gauzy light material  layered together and made up of all sorts of shades of dark blue with glitter in the mix with a silky blue petticoat underneath. She picked up a bright blue flower crown, and looked into the full length mirror, admiring her appearance - she picked up her skirt and swished it around and saw Ash glimpsed in the corner of the mirror.

‘I think I need some makeup, don’t you? Or am I going to have to pick your jaw up from the floor?’ She said, turning to face him as she swished her skirt.

‘You always have to pick up the jaws of anyone in the same room as you,’ He said as he shameless looked her up and down, looking like he wanted to step forward and do more than just look but he was respectful at least.

She walked over to him, getting on her toes and kissing him once on the lips. She lingered a moment, almost teasing him with something more before pulling away as he went to cup her cheek.

‘Victor is going to die of embarrassment though,’ Ash said with a smirk, dropping his hand to hold hers but she still pulled away to get her makeup and apply it.

‘Nor the first, nor the last. Besides, just a date. Maybe nothing will come of it,’ Morrigan said with a shrug before focusing on her applying her makeup with the mirror.

She applied a navy blue lip with a shiny glittered gloss on top, giving herself the appearance of the night sky. She then applied a dark blue metallic shimmery eye shadow. All to match her dress. She was more for matching colours rather than contrast. Most especially for this outfit. She would be like a shimmery night sky with the only contrast being her pale skin.

A little starry goddess with sharp fangs.

She almost got up before realizing she should probably do her hair too - the top was long enough to do a braid and the back was certainly long enough to have it cascade down to back to rest at her hips when it was all braided tightly. 

She had a thought, swayed idly in her chair thinking about it but decided against putting glitter in her dark long hair. As much as it would be to have glitter in it, she didn’t want to have to be dealing with it for weeks on end. She looked just as good with or without it. And some of her clothing was covered in glitter enough that bits of it would likely stick to her, she really didn’t need to add to it.

She turned to stand and Ash had brought her some heels, the ones that made her as tall as him - dark, thin and sometimes a bit hard to balance on but she had mastered the art the minute she realized it evened out their height - she smiled and kissed him gently on the cheek to not ruin her lipstick and let him put her heels on. What a romantic man, she thought as he pulled her to her feet with such ease and walked over the mirror and spun her around. Sweet and gentle with a soft smile gracing his lips.

‘Beautiful as always,’ He said and then rested his head on her shoulder.

‘I know. Going to drive me to my date? Be my chaperone?’ She said and stuck out her tongue at him.

‘I’m the perfect gentleman and chaperone - of course I will,’ He said and gave her a gentle squeeze and began leading her out to the car.

‘No kissing or hand holding, oh Allah forbid look at each other,’ Ash joked, bumping her slightly as they walked.

‘Yes, dad. I’ll be the perfect little princess - I won’t look at her at all. Promise!’ She said with a sharp amusing grin

She’d feed before venturing out and so she lounged in the back of the car with her rather large and poofy skirt as Ash drove her to her destination. A quaint little restaurant, friendly to those like them -  Vinea in Sanguine - new to her as all this was as she entered and found the front of house to speak to. A man in his early 20′s, dressed in a clean crisp suit.

‘I’m here for the reservation with Mrs Quintelle,’

The person looked her up and down, looking rather shocked by her appearance it seemed. Not a problem and not new for her, she always did stand out. At least when she wanted to.

‘Right this way, ah - Miss?’

‘Call me Morrigan, no ‘Miss’ about it,’ She said and winked at him.

‘Follow me, ma’am,’ He said blankly as he turned to lead her to the table with Rosary.
