#RGWeek2023 Day 4 - Mischievous

I'm here to write some Sterek and draw some Rosegarden and as you may see, my teenwolf phase isn't done yet 🐺🦊 (I geniunely couldn't think of anything else since I saw the prompt XD)

and also i'm more into sterydia and very interested in oscarxrubyxpenny whatever their name is because ot3>otp always, but it didn't fit in the joke but i just want to state it yeah XD

I recently noticed something that makes me think that maybe the RoseGarden couple is canon after all and that is that, apparently Oscar refers to the story of "The Little Prince" according to the RWBY wikia (I know it's not 100% viable, but it's the best we have) and if this is true, I ask you the following:

Do you remember who the little prince loved in his story?... No? It's his rose. His only love it's his beloved rose and in RWBY, this could only refer to Ruby.

This is just a theory I have after checking the RWBY wikia and I just wanted to leave you guys this theory since it motivated me to keep writing about them.

I'd like to think that this could happen so that the RoseGarden could actually be canon in the series. Of course, this implies other things regarding Oscar as a character, but that's another matter.

After all, it was your comic that made me start writing about this couple, even though I haven't achieved anything good yet XD.

🌲🌹 Rosegarden Week 2023! 🌹🌲

RWBY Vol 9 is around the corner and so is the start of ROSEGARDEN WEEK!

RG Week will commence on ✨April 3 - April 9!✨

In the past we’ve hosted different ways to involve our blooming community, either by sending in your prompts and voting or having you all share your prompt lists. This time around we wanted to present a list of prompts that are inspired by Vol 9. We hope this sparks some creative ideas and hype for the upcoming season, along with bringing some unity to the RWBY FNDM.

Rosegarden Week Day 2: Tender Kiss. 🌹🌲

Ruby sweated coldly in her sleep as she had nightmarish visions about her time in Ever After. A few years have passed after the defeat of Salem and Ozma's disappearance into the afterlife. Oscar gently shook Ruby to wake her up.

She looked at him, dazed and confused.

"You were having a nightmare," Oscar whispered.

Ruby's eyes began to fill with tears, and Oscar gently caressed her hair and kissed her forehead.

"You know...I wish I could have been there with you. Then, maybe...I could have eased a bit of your pain." Oscar confessed.

Ruby looked into his eyes, and her cheeks flushed red. She raised her hand and gently touched his cheek as if she had never touched him in centuries.

"This is perfect," she whispered.

Oscar lowered his gaze to look at her lips as she spoke.

" Yeah." He whispered as he leaned forward.

DAY 1: Island | Wonderland

Paradise in the sun, deserted together smashing coconuts, or what’s more romantic than frolicking next to the seashore? Perhaps you wanna get a little bit bizarre in a Wonderland? Rosegarden Week 2023: Day 1 - Wonderland. 🌹🌲

Ruby continued to run through the forest until she was utterly alone. She ran until the sun started to set on the wonderland forest. Then, she hid behind a tree and continued to cry. Little, who was still on her shoulder, heard her tears and tried to comfort her. But as Little was about to speak, she began to hallucinate the Blacksmith.

The Blacksmith was sitting down in a chair and looking at Ruby. They were in a different room this time. It was no longer the Blacksmith's forge but a room with black walls and two red chairs sitting across from each other. There was a broken clock between them. The clock kept ticking loudly as Ruby and the Blacksmith looked at each other.

"What if you could leave Ruby Rose behind? Shed her like an old coat?" asked the Blacksmith.

"What do you mean?" asked Ruby.

"What if you could be free? Free of this burden that you have been carrying for so long, " said the Blacksmith.

"But if I do that...then I..."

Suddenly she heard a voice behind her.

"Ruby?"

Ruby's eyes widened with realization as she recognized the voice. She turned around quickly and saw him standing behind her.

It was Oscar.

He smiled.

"Oscar...what are you doing here?" She said in disbelief.

She ran and hugged Oscar tightly and touched his face.

 "I thought you were in Vacuo. I...I, " She struggled to say.

Oscar took her hand and gently held it.

"You know, you can stay here with me. Forget Salem, Blake, your sister, Weiss, and your mother. Forget the mission. Stopping Salem isn't your task. It isn't even my task. This is Ozma's burden," said Oscar as he pulled Ruby closer.

Suddenly more and more voices appeared around her, repeating the exact phrase:

"This is Ozma's burden."

"This is Ozma's burden."

"This is Ozma's burden."

"This is Ozma's burden."

The voices became louder and louder.

Suddenly Ruby began to laugh.

A maniacal laugh.

The hallucinations of her friends and the Blacksmith vanished. She was back in the forest alone.

Utterly Alone.
