Paradigm Monitor Sub 8 là một mẫu loa siêu trầm đem lại một thiết kế cân bằng, mặc dù không đạt được sự xuất sắc vượt trội trong quá trình tái tạo dải âm trầm nhưng nó đã mang đến một sự cân bằng tuyệt vời về chất lượng trong mức giá của nó.

Tiếp nối thành công của những dòng sản phẩm tiền nhiệm, hãng âm thanh Canada tung ra thị trường dòng sản phẩm Paradigm Monitor với 3 mẫu loa subwoofer, trong đó Monitor Sub 8 là sản phẩm có kích thước khiêm tốn nhất. Hai mẫu loa subwoofer còn lại đó là loa Sub 10 và Sub 12. Để giải nghĩa cho các con số 8, 10 và 12 trên tên model, đó chính là đường kính củ loa subwoofer tương ứng với đơn vị tính bằng inch.

Giống với người đàn anh Monitor Sub 10, mẫu loa subwoofer nhỏ gọn này sở hữu thiết kế thùng loa dạng kín với kích thước ba chiều lần lượt là 27,1cm × 26,2cm × 28,3cm, trọng lượng đạt 9,1kg. Phần thùng loa được cấu thành từ chất liệu gỗ MDF chuyên dụng, đã được kiểm chứng chất lượng. Gỗ MDF có những đặc tính phù hợp để sử dụng trong chế tạo thùng loa với khả năng chống nước, chống mối mọt và hạn chế nhiễu âm rung chấn hiệu quả. Loa được đặt trên 1 hệ thống các chân đế gắn liền vào phần thùng loa, giúp cho phần đáy của loa tách biệt hoàn toàn với mặt sàn. Bên cạnh đó, các cổng kết nối và đấu dây loa được bố trí ở mặt sau.

Những đặc điểm chính của loa Paradigm Monitor Sub 8

Loa Paradigm Monitor Sub 8 là mẫu loa siêu trầm được trang bị 1 củ loa đường kính 8inch và có khả năng đáp ứng khoảng dải tần âm thanh từ 35Hz đến 150Hz. Điểm đặc biệt trong thiết kế của củ loa subwoofer này, đó là nó được gắn chặt vào phần mặt trước của thùng loa và cố định bởi 1 tấm khung kim loại. Ngoài ra, hãng còn trang bị 1 tấm ê căng rời bằng chất liệu vải mềm để che chắn mặt trước của củ loa. Nó có thể được tháo lắp dễ dàng.

Củ loa subwoofer có đường kính 8inch tương đương với 210mm, được thiết kế dạng hình nón và bảo vệ bởi 1 khung tản nhiệt đúc AVS. Phần vòm màng loa được chế tạo theo công nghệ Active Ridge (ART) và bổ sung 1 nam châm, 1 cuộn dây voice coil bằng nhôm. Phần nhện loa Nomex®, nam châm ferrite là những linh kiện được hãng Paradigm đặt hàng riêng để đảm bảo cho chất lượng tái tạo âm thanh của củ loa này.

Paradigm Monitor Sub 8 là một thiết kế loa subwoofer chủ động, được tích hợp sẵn mạch khuếch đại Ultra-Class D tiên tiến giúp cung cấp mức công suất âm thanh thực RMS đạt 300W và có thể lên tới 900W công suất đỉnh. Bên cạnh đó,khả năng tự động bật tắt chế độ mạch khuếch đại tích hợp cũng chính là 1 tính năng nổi bật của mẫu loa active này.

Paradigm Monitor Sub 10 sử dụng thùng loa cấu tạo bịt kín, được đặt trên các chân đế liền giúp mắt đáy của loa được tách biệt hoàn toàn khỏi mặt sàn. Nice sleek size with beautiful finish and Great sound. Thought I might need subwoofer, but there is plentyof base. I’m using late 80’s Carver amp, pre amp and tuner, and a bang and olufsen TX2 turntable with MMC 3 cartridge. Crystal clear sound in a medium sized room.
