OKAY so while making the Save yourself, I'll hold them back lyric comic, it put me in a big Danger Days mood in general (the album which the song is from) and I got the idea to draw the rise turtles as the Killjoys! (For anyone who doesn't know, very simply put they're characters the MCR band members play in the musical videos for the Danger Days album) (Dunno how many of you guys are interested in the Danger Days lore but just so you know I'm absolutely cooking with this!!)

Speaking of the lyric comic - HOLY SHIT guys I am absolutely overwhelmed by all the excitement and support I've gotten in just the last day 😭💕 I'm glad you all like it so much cuz I really put a lot of time and effort into it, it means the world! 💕💕💕💕

I just finished some new ones! The old little ref sheet is still good for like, their injuries, but outfit wise, it’s very out of date. These outfits are more the kind of progression I want to depict as we get further with the comic.

Been glancing back through my files lately and I have caught myself thinking about this design so much. I know I did it specifically to have a different design from my future EW Donnie….but….👀. I’m really resisting the urge to just rework future EW Donnie to be like a…blend of the two. Would that be too confusing? I have said that stuff which hasn’t officially shown up in the comic yet, are likely to be slightly changed as we go….👀👀👀👀👀👀👀…poll?
