So, two days ago was the birthday of both Richard Petty (who voiced The King and was also the inspiration for the character) and Ruby from the Pokémon Special/Adventures manga, so I made this drawings to celebrate both 🥳

Unfortunately I couldn't post these drawings sooner bc at the end of June I worked A LOT to finish all the commissions and requests I had plus one project I needed to finish asap, so I really needed to take a rest from drawing for a few days 😅

Sapphire's Fantasy

I mean, it would be a fantasy dream of Sapphire to convince Ruby to run in the wild jungle wearing leaves like her.

Well, decided to revisit this concept again, this with Ruby and Sapphire running through the jungle. The pose is based on the OmegaRuby and Alpha Sapphire cover featuring them in their contest outfits (as it's one of the rare times you get to see Ruby's head with no hat in the way, scars and all.

The Zarude pattern on him is still there since I like it next to Sapphire's markings, whatever those are.

This was my very first ever pic of the main boys from Pokémon Special!

I drew them from memory, hence why some details are kinda off. I barely knew what Red and Gold looked like and it shows, lol... I was always better at drawing girls anyway!

At the time I had a huge crush on Green. Hey, don't blame me! I was just a silly 16-year-old~

I had just started reading the Diamond & Pearl Chapter and I wasn't familiar at all with Diamond and Pearl, so that's why they're not here. Too bad!

Can't wait to share more of my old PokéSpe artwork with you guys ♥ I hardly ever do traditional art, so I hope you like these two first pieces!
