The magazines really looked at Bullstrode, S.C. Ruffey and D261 and said 'I can fix him'.

I wanted to make S.C Ruffey look as if he is torn apart. I gave the brakevan a spiteful look. that's why he's doing a thumbs down.

‘Oliver’s no use at all, think’s he’s very clever Says that he can manage us; that’s the best joke ever! When he orders us about, with the greatest folly, We just push him down the well! Pop goes old Ollie!’
I put a lot of effort into this scene recreation, actually. Probably the most amount of work I’ve ever done. I wanted to try and get it as accurate as I could with the Trainz models I’ve got installed. It’s not perfect, but I think it came out really well.
Check it out on my deviantart HERE for the model and route sources.

So I heard u like 10x11... *respectfully scoots closer*... Would u be interested in sharing some HCs? I will go down with this shop tbh but many ppl think it's a little cliché. What are u thoughts?
It's most likely my favorite ship in the whole series! It may be cliché in the "Knight in Shining Armor" sense, but it's still no less enjoyable for that, at least to me. Anyone's allowed their own opinion about it of course!

(kissing on the first date)
They are relentlessly affectionate. They only have to be in the same yard for five minutes before they start making cutesy small talk about one another's paint or how well they've been doing or how splendid they looked the other day pulling that train, etc. Then it escalates to winking, complimenting each other without a care for who hears, kisses blown from one track to another. Don't let them face smokebox to smokebox for too long when they're sharing a track, they WILL start kissing, passengers or engines nearby be damned.
The trucks are still scared of Oliver (and Toad!) all these years after the S.C. Ruffey murder incident. As new trucks have come along, it's become a generational story passed down, for any of those who would rightly be skeptical that such a dinky autotank could pull something like that off. HOWEVER, trucks who should remain unconvinced have to reckon with Douglas, who pulls goods trains on the daily unlike Oliver, and protects him fiercely.
Whenever Douglas gets moved about the system to do work elsewhere, they both miss one another dearly. It's often up to other engines, or even trucks and coaches, (trucks know better than to say no,) to pass messages between the two engines.
When Sodor’s Parliament first approved engine marriage in the Seventies, Douglas and Oliver were the second couple ever to be married, after Edward and BoCo.

“ When Oliver returned from the Works after falling in a turntable well, S.C. Ruffey and the trucks sang rude songs about the event. Toad, worried by the lack of respect for the engines, consulted with Oliver and Duck and made a plan. Oliver then shunted S.C. Ruffey and his lieutenants and prepared to pull them. S.C. Ruffey rallied the trucks into holding back, but this only resulted in S.C. Ruffey being pulled apart. The Fat Controller attributed the incident to the wagon's poor condition, but told Oliver not to disclose the fact, saying it was "bad for discipline". After receiving his comeuppance, S.C. Ruffey's remains were scrapped. “
// I know this guy was in ww2 and all but I just want to be like ‘who hurt you’ when he was making these books.
Yes, it’s bad for discipline for the trucks to know you didn’t murder one of them in revenge for taunting you.
Starting to think this writer, despite being a reverend, was the sort who would always go the evil route in rpgs.

’Hector the Horrid!’ is basically ‘Toad Stands By’ if Oliver took the Steven Universe approach to sorting S.C. Ruffey out.
Not that it’s a criticism, I am a Steven Universe fan, but it’s funny how these two trucks were handled with their methods of bullying being not too different.
