Sherlock still remembers the day that he first met reader, the misterious woman was, much to his dismay at that time, thrown in his arms by the Scotland yard, that wanted her to be trained by him, so that they don't have to call for Sherlock everytime they can't deal with a case.

I am more than sure that at first, Sherlock would pretty much, try to ignore You, not that You were too bothered, You were a fast learner, which he somehow apreciated, as he hates to explain things, and was thankfull You caught things fast. (sometimes he forgets You have a real snake that You carry everywhere, and jumps a little when it hisses out of the blue) But also, he would be a bitch at first, making fun of you, or making You read tiny notes, after finding out You were blind in one eye.

As a Detective, he was courious, it was in his nature to wander about things, and of course, your covered mouth was one of those things. He tried persuating and pulling, which both failed, as even if smaller in size than him, You knew how to block him and avoid him. John started getting in the way (when kaburamaru wasn't enough) too, making sure that Sherlock doesn't step too much on your toes.

I think that's where his obbsesion would start. I mean, You would be really gratefull for John, and would show it often with gifts and food prepared for him, and that annoyed him, it annoyed him that between the two of them, You were getting closer to John. I mean, he got used to You being his shadow, not talking much and observing him in action, it's like You were always there, and he felt that, for now, that was a way of keeping You close.

But John had to get in the way! The oh so charming man, that ladies seem to love, nah ah, You were to smart for that, too smart to like someone like John...

Of course he stages everything, but at the same time, he circles You two, when the time for The restaurant comes, i think he would notice things about You, not that he had eyes for anyone else that whole night.

For him, it looked like, at first, that You and sherlock were on very good terms, even togheter maybe, but then he noticed the side glances You had, the snarky remarks You do at his adress, how You insist to do read the menu yourself but he doesn't let You. Oh, the Detective was smart, making it look like You were a very snarky couple, but he was more perceptive than that.

He saw the way You groaned, the way You... Put a piece of meat in your sleve...?... Ah, there's a snake... Haha, You were a breath of fresh air, You knew that?

So unique, so unbothered by the social norms... Everyone should be like You. Instead, they whisper behind your back, and some even in front of You!

On the other hand, William and Sherlock were plotting, it's clear that they need to stay closer to You, they want to know you better, to make You trust them and tell them everything that had happened to You.

But You were so locked in yourself... They grew impatient...

The plan to sit in one room was so that if they came inside it, You wouldn't imediatly wake up from hearing them.

The plan to take a little care of kaburamaru was to just catch it and lock it somewhere to not interwine.

And of course, the training was just an excuse to see how much force they need to use to hold You down, so that they can pull of the bandages...

And when they do, William, the man that hates crying, sheds tears while holding You as You trash around to cover your face.

You were so beautifull, how much of a fool he was to think that You weren't scared by the cruel world already.

Sherlock went balistic, and soon, William followed too, they NEED names, You NEED to tell them everything, everything, so that they can restore your honour, so that You can see just how much they care for You...

A New Contestant Stands Before the Ranch

Let me introduce you to Albane, the contestant I created for @snderist 's bachelor challenge.

Left blind after a gardening accident, Albane was left to struggle with a low self-esteem and an instable future. Managing to stay strong and continue her career as a caterer, she is now searching for the one that will accept her whole... even if a piece of her is now missing.

As soon as she could remeber, Albane was always gifted for gardenning. Since her early childhood years, the young girl spent countless hours in the garden of the house she shared with her family, observing and tending to the flowers. This passion for gardening was passed down to her by her mother, Simone, a rather well known botanist that tought her how to take care of the many flowers that populated her garden. But one particular plant would change Albane's destiny forever. When her daughter reached thé age of fourteen, Simone thought that she could safly introduce Albane to the cowplant in the back of the garden. Sadly, things did not go as planned. When it saw the young girl approch, the cowplant lost it's calm and attacked, leaving the girl dangerously injured. After being urgently taken into the nearest hospital, Albane woke up after multiple surgeries to be greeted by the voices of her relatives through complete, pure and frightening darkness. The accident had left her blinded and without any hope of being able to see again. Albane had to learn everything again, from walking to doing basic tasks. Gardening wasn't impossible to adapt to her blindness, but it took a painfully long time. Left wondering how to live her life with such a burden, Albane didn't really consider possible things such as dating. Her blindness often tried the patience of anyone outside of her family, so much so that her everyday job had bean a miracle to get. How could someone bare it enough to date her. But an anoucement she heard on the radio changed her mind. A dating show? She had Heard about some in the past, but never thought about it seriously. Maybe it would be a good introduction to dating. As the anoucement ended, she picked up her phone and registered. Sure, she wasn't really experienced in that domaine, but, like her mother said, better late than never.

When her mother described to her a picture of Asher, something inside of seemed to awake, something that she had never felt before. A rancher ? She dreamed many times of having someone close to nature for herself. Could he be the one ? She was willing to fight for it, even if it meant changing.

dabihawks witchcraft au, late Halloween treat for you lot ♥️

Keigo is a novice witch, but he has no idea just how powerful he is, has no idea what he can do, who he decends from.

How could he?

He knows nearly nothing about his parents, how his roots on his mothers side goes all the way back to the kitsunes of aincent times.

It’s not until he sits on the blood stained ground with blue fire raging around him, with the shell of the most imporant person in his arms that something truly snaps inside him.

He feels as much as he sees Touya’s soul slip away from his body, and he knows deeply within his soul that this is wrong, this is not the plan.

Something has to give.

He makes sure the body is safe when he works, and he spends close to three nights and days researching, but he finally finds what he’s looking for.

The details of the ritual is not important to the story, nor are they something Keigo wants ro remember, but for Touya he’d to them again in a heartbreat.

The wait is excruciating, but when familiar clear blue eyes opens slowly and blinks up ay him with confusion clouding them greatly, it’s all worth it within a second.

Touya’s body is not what it was.

It is burned, and parts of it had to be put back together, and Keigo is no surgeon, but he did his best.

The important thing is, after all, that while Touya is dazed and confused, he no longer feels any physical pain.

It’s obvious that his soul is still there, but it’s also obvious that something is off.

The once graceful way Touya moved has been taken over with a clumsyness that frustrates him greatly.

His once soft snow white hair has turned rough and harsh, and Keigo had to staple some of the scarred skin of his body to the healthy ones to keep him in one piece.

But things are not all bad.

The way Touya’s whole being lights up from the inside out whenever he sees Keigo, the way he wraps his cold but strong arms tightly around Keigo every night, even though Touya himself doesn’t sleep he gets to watch his lover sleep safly and peacefully trough night.

Their main problem is Touya’s lack of control when it comes to Keigo.

It can be thrilling, like when they’re entangled in each other in passion and love, life itself, and Touya can’t help but touch, taste, smell, hear and feel everything Keigo has to offer, feeling as alive as he can ever remember feeling.

But sometimes it’s lack of control, it’s the anxiety and dissconnect he feels on the longest nights.

Somehow, even in those times, Keigo finds a way to light Touya up from the inside.

He’ll look him in the eyes with patience and understanding, he’ll hold his face as if it’s the most precious porcelain, and he’ll kiss his lips with such a lifeforce behind it, it trickles into Touya’s very being with every touch of their lips.

Keigo may never tell Touya what horrors he had to perform to bring him back to him, and Touya will never ask.

They are both way too content to live in their own limbo, their own version of life, to let anything cloud their existence and happiness as it is.

They are eternal.

Here was my theory about Arazan’s Wolves. Yes, John Flanagan said Alyss is dead and would stay dead. Royal Ranger is my favorite book, her death made the great ending possible. I was sad Alyss died, but it worked well for the plot. Now Will has not had any character development at all since (and let’s be honest, Maddie hasn’t either) so to bring Alyss back would be a great way to change and grow him as a character. Here were my reasons as to why it was possible:

1. No body.

This one is not the best, given the givens, but an inn fire could not have burned hot enough to completely incinerate a body.

2. The inn was likely partially made of stone, which was common in the area (South Araluen, this will be important later) so as the fire flared up in front of her, she could have fallen through the floor and a combination of roof beams and the stone walls could have protected her.

3. If she was alive, why didn’t she go back home to Will? Head injury causing amnesia and massive change in personality (will be important later)

4. She was in Southern Araluen, very near Celtica where the sorceress was. Not too far to walk.

5. The sorceress controls Wargals. We know from Siege of Macindaw that Alyss was susceptible to hypnosis, and her head injury could have changed her enough to make her even more receptive to the mind control magic system in the books to control Wargals.

6. Head wounds can cause severe changes in personality making Alyss want to rule the world.

7. To rule the world, what one has to do is this: control the Wargals to make the locals mine silver for you, buy a bunch of land in Gallica, take over Gallica, and from there take over the world.

8. The Sorceresse’s name. Arazan. In Nihon-Ja, because the locals couldn’t pronounce her name, Alyss went by “Ariss-san” pronounced identically to Arazan.

Personally I think my theory was far better than the book itself. Comments or questions?

I've never been a fan of 'return from the dead' scenarios in general. but honestly, I think it perhaps could work for in this scenario. Perhaps also because arazan's wolves is set a few books after the royal ranger so the twist doesn't feel as cheap. imagine if will and maddie came back home after the entire jory rhul thing just for halt to be on his doorstep and be like 'uhm your dead wife is alive and evil now, sorry.'

I love the idea of alyss becoming an antagonist with no way to ever get her back to her 'normal' state, which would mean that she would have to die or they will never be together again. and I love traumatizing will further than he already is and also indeed bring some much needed character development.

what i would change about your au is maybe the world domination plot point.

Alyss survived a fire, we can safly assume she will have some pretty bad scarring all over her body and/or face. from the the sorcerer of the north we know the people of araluen aren't the most accepting of people with physical differences. so this alyss who is very badly scarred, has no idea where or who she is and is also being ostracized by the communities she asks for help leaves the country.

maybe she saves a direwolf or a direwolf saves her which leads to her forming connections with them or mind control she's unaware of. this would be the first time after the fire incident she would feel loved and safe. she can create a stronghold in the mountains somewhere in celctica were she can live in peace because at this point she way to traumatized by people, and just let her dire wolves kill everyone who comes to close which would in the end lead to the same thing that happens in arazans wolves; will gets called to fix their issues, and angst ensues.

the similarities between arazan and the ariss-san is SUCH a cool observation. it would mean that alyss, somewhere deep down, can n remember her past, but it's distorted and layered in contexts she can't understand. ouch.

But how do you see this ending on the evil alyss route, who kills her? does will try and can't bring himself to do so which means madelyn has to step in? what happens after?
