I invited Murray to submit a mix to an all day SBRU Threads radio take over. My mix was on the show, Murray tuned in and listened in tandem with me. We were chatting while the music played. This track came on in my mix, and he asked me what it was, I told him is was Auntie Flo, Daabi on Autonomous Africa, he replied:

this is right  up my street. I told him one of the reasons I was playing it was that thought it was complimentary to his mix

Then he realised he had already owned it. He bought it, way before me. He said: “It’s embarrassing. Folk come up and ask me what I’m playing or what that track on the mix is. I tell them I don’t know and they think I’m keeping something from them. I really have no idea”. 

I often have no idea when I’m putting it on either for that matter.

Do you think todoroki needs more development. Do you think he's a bit to cliche, and do you think he deserves to stand next to bakugo and izuku as a main character. (i guess as a side note do you think iida is possibly more developed than todoroki)

Yeah, he definitely needs more development, but he’s slowly getting there. I’m not sure what counts as “being deserving to stand next to Bakugou and Izuku” in your book. To me, Shouto is a plenty interesting character. His backstory, being as tragic as it is, might be a bit cliché for a shounen manga main character. I do know that some people find him boring. Some might consider him a sort of Gary Sbru, if you will (the male version of a Mary Sue). But I think that labels like those are unfair to him. He’s not overwhelmingly strong because he has a natural talent; he is that way because Endeavor made him that way. His backstory isn’t sad so that Hori can endear Todo to the audience; his backstory is sad because it’s thematic that the mistakes of the old generation need to be solved by the current one, and we’ve already seen that on screen: it’s also thanks to Shouto that Bakugou corrected his bad behaviour. 

So he is a bit cliché, but at the same time he isn’t imho. What I find actually cliché is his fanon interpretation in fics. That is hella flat and boring. 

I do like what Todoroki brings to the story and to the dynamic of the class. You can disagree but that’s just how I see it :)

I am not far in the Jojo series, but does the mainline Jojo family line end with Jolyne before moving on to the AU? (From what you post.)

Yes, Parts 1 to 6 take place in the main universe. Starting with Jonathan to Jolyne. Part 7 & 8 take place in the Alternate Universe or sometimes called the Steel Ball Run Universe (SBRU) since Part 8 is a continuation of the events of Part 7.

Yes, Valentine is the Dean of SBRU! Felt like making him the president wouldn’t be interesting enough lol. He definitely is a b—ch about credits for students like Gyro or Lucy.

I think Lucy would be treated that way by some characters! Especially because she is 17 entering University, a lot of people find it odd. Gyro probably wouldn’t like her at first—Diego too. She’s a smarty and hard worker though, so Steel did not pull any strings to get her there!
