Hi hi can I interest y'all in my Summoner OC Cresselia? She's been an OC of mine since I started playing FE Heroes back in 2019, so I wanted to share her! More ramblings about her down below!

When I first started playing FEH in 2019, I couldn't think of a name to give my summoner in-game. I chose Cresselia after one of my favorite legendary Pokémon (and one I spent three weeks shiny hunting in 2018). The name kind of stuck, so now I'd like to think she chose to name herself after her favorite Pokémon upon arriving in Askr. She strikes me as someone who was already a strategic thinker. Even though she was quite lonely back on Earth, she loved to play the Pokémon TCG and loved coming up with new strategies. I think those skills lend themselves easily to strategizing as a tactician, though she still tends to stress about it easily. She does take a lot of notes and ask the opinions of other tacticians she's summoned as a way to make sure she's thought everything through. She's prone to fainting when she's stressed, so she likes to be prepared and have back-up plans. She also used to be a performer! She was a musical theater major and loves to sing (it's one of the few things she's proud of). She tends to view the battlefield as a stage, and the summoner persona as a role she has to play. She's able to convincingly act stoic and sure of her actions, but deep down, she's full of doubt. At the end of the day, she's also kind and compassionate. Though she was initially shy and kept to herself, her kindness helped her forge many friendships over time, and it's those friendships that have made her feel more at home in Askr than anywhere else. I think that's enough rambling for now. I'm sure I'll have more to say eventually, but I'll stop here. As a bonus, here's the flats for this piece, and a sprite edit I did of her for the funsies. I really hope y'all like her because I like sharing stuff about her 👉👈

I’m usually good at responding when a fic first drops because the sheer adrenaline/euphoria of finally posting something propels me out of my shell, but once that wears out. Help.

-- What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?

Uh. All of them? Aldkjfskfj okay, that’s a lie, but tbh it’d be easier to point at the ones that don’t have kinda bummer endings. I love me some angst. :3

The title for Angstiest def has to go to ‘friend make sense of me’ tho. Yowch.

-- What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending?

Oh, ‘be my fictional obsession’ for sure. Although ‘strawberry soju' is a strong contender, ultimately ‘bmfo’ is simply Sillier, so she takes the crown. :3

-- Do you write crossovers?

Not really! Though I have toyed around with writing AUs in other settings, the most recent of which is a BBC Merlin AU, which, let me tell you, has been tons of fun, even if I’ll probably never get around to finishing it lol.

-- Have you ever received hate on a fic?

I was about to say no because everyone has always been so lovely to me, but then I remembered that one person who bookmarked ‘like sugar and cyanide’ only to call it ‘lame’ for being self-indulgent and not ending with EraserMic getting together. Which was kinda funny ngl, because, like, my guy. The Unresolved Romantic Tension is right there in the tags, and also I repeatedly dunk on myself for being self-indulgent in just about every chapter note, so like, move along, sister, this is not the fic you’re looking for lmaoo.

-- Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Nope! Love me some innuendo and crass humor, but the most I ever see myself doing is a fade to black or maybe some vague allusion to the act (← see, I just did it), because it is simply not my cup of tea.

-- Have you ever had a fic translated?

Nope, but I’d be open to it for sure!

-- Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Another no, though I’m not sure I’d be a good fit for it tbh. I’m a bit precious about my writing process. 😅

-- What's your all-time favorite ship?

Oh god, this is a Question. I mean, I have to say EraserMic given how much of my (fan) life it has consumed these past years, even if I do have some complicated, and at times contentious, thoughts and feelings about it.

QPR MicNight is right up there, though! I have just as complex and much less contentious feelings about QPR MicNight, my beloved. <3

I have so many QPR MicNight WIPs, you guys. One of these days, I’ll even finish one. orz

-- What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

CRIES. ALL OF THEM.

Okay, non-dramatic answer is ‘as the mists roll in at midnight,’ which is a WIP I started and finished outlining back in 2021 (it even got a title!) and then never got past the second chapter.

It’s a sort of house horror AU, featuring EraserMic, QPR MicNight, unexplained happenings in the woods, and a haunted inn that just wants to keep you safe. I love it so so much that I kind of got overwhelmed by my love for it, and thus my need for it to be perfect, and now I fear I shall never get back to it. </3

The same is true for so many of my WIPs, if I’m being honest. Shout out to Midnight Time Loop AU, ‘a song for a song,’ and ‘you know i make you wanna scream,’ the latter of which is the reason I no longer post multi-chap WIPs. rip.

-- What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue and narrative voice. I get so many niceys comments on both, especially my narrative voice for Mic, which makes my heart do a happy dance every time. :)

-- What are your writing weaknesses?

Establishing and describing setting, unfortunately. The struggle to not end up with characters talking and introspecting in The Void all the time is real. OTL

Also there's the more technical stuff like my abuse of adverbs, em-dashes, and run-on sentences, as well as my point-blank refusal to kill my darlings at times, but I like to chalk all that up to Style, Vibes, and This Hobby is Supposed to Be Fun, Damnit, so we don't count any of that. :3

-- What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

No strong thoughts in particular, just the usual 'as long as it's done well' caveat. Though I do like when honorifics and such are sprinkled in here and there, hence why I tend to do so in my fic. I find it serves as a helpful reminder that these characters are Japanese, and thus hopefully helps to stave off some of that dreaded, inevitable Americanization of everything.

-- What was the first fandom you wrote for?

BNHA, which, let me tell you, came as a surprise not just to me, but also to anyone who knows me irl. I was famously Not Very Much Into Anime for most of my life. Go figure.

-- What's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to?

BBC Merlin!

I watched (and was obsessed with) the show way back when, but have only recently gotten into the fandom, and good GOD has it been a struggle to not hop right in to writing fic for it, especially for Gwen/Morgana, my beloved toxic yuri queens. Only reason I haven’t is because I’m loathe to add to my already heaping WIP pile.

-- What's your favorite fic you've written?

Oof, this is a hard one.

‘strawberry soju’ has my heart right now because it felt like such a different undertaking than most of my previous work (it’s a 9k, non-linear, Aizawa POV one-shot! There’s actual kissing in it!) and also because I learned a lot while working on it. I didn’t have a real outline when I started writing, only a premise, one or two strong images of interactions I wanted to include, and several themes I wanted to touch on. It was a struggle working with such bare bones at times, but I'm glad I kept at it, because I'm proud of how much of the core themes and concepts came through in the final result.

However. If I’m being honest, my real answer to this question is the fic I wrote for Something Just Like This, an EraserMic zine I contributed to that is currently in production. I wrote that fic back in February, and it’s been absolute hell not being able to share it this whole time because I’m just so goddamn proud of it!! I won’t say anything else because I could go on forever about it and I’m contractually obligated to not spill the beans, but GOD I can’t wait for you all to read it. 🥺

I'm not new to tumblr at all. I've been a huge Persona fan since 2022, and that's pretty much all I yap about here. Persona 3 Reload is my favorite game of all time & I'm a chronic multishipper, so expect a lot of post about those two things <33 I also loveeee Persona 5, but have yet to indulge in Persona 4 all the way.

I love writing and drawing, so I often post my headcanons/ideas here, along with the occasional art. My other interest include: figure/doll collecting, cosplay, alternative fashion, gaming and anything vampire or goth related!

I don't really have a "DNI", but keep in mind that I'm an adult, and that my posts/headcanons/reblogs are sometimes suggestive (I'll try to tag anything truly nsft though). Gotham was never known for its good weather. The pounding of rain against his helmet only served to irritate him. The only reason why Jason wasn't cursing out the clouds was because he had places to be.

The freezing air was burning his lungs while he traversed the rooftops.

He tripped over his own boot, falling into a railing. His chest slammed into it, grabbing hold of it with his gloved hands before leaning over, staring out into the busy streets below.

Buildings were coated in colorful lights beaming from billboards, and graffiti was tagged along the walls in alleyways.

His gaze stopped on a dull apartment complex, cast in shadow by larger buildings beside it.

Just a little bit further.

Patience wasn't a talent of his. He jumped right off one of those buildings without a second thought, barely giving himself a moment to recover when he landed on the concrete.

Dashing into a fire escape, Jason's fingers traced the creases in the brick wall while he made his way down, jumping down every few steps. He counted down the apartment numbers in his head.

8-B. 7-B. 6-B. 5-B. 4-B. 3-B. 2-B.

He froze when realization struck. Groaning before hitting his own helmet, he walked back up.

3-B.

Light was peering through the window, though he wasn't sure if that was a good thing considering how late it was. The window nearly shattered from how hard he slammed it to the top.

The thought of criticizing the man who owned the apartment ran through his head. He lived in Gotham, after all.

But he knew the only reason it was left unlocked was him.

Warmth enveloped him the moment he slipped inside, slamming the window shut behind him.

He rubbed his shoes into a welcome mat placed at the very front of it. The jacket he wore was a lost cause when he realized just how soaked it was, throwing it onto a couch.

Jason tensed up when his hands subconsciously moved to the sides of his helmet. Maybe another time.

Or maybe he was just getting too comfortable.

When he entered the apartment, he had expected one of the many candles that were settled on a plate nearby would be what overwhelmed his senses. Instead, he saw none of them were lit.

The place smelt of sugar though.

Quietly, he made his way towards the source, tilting his head to the side at the scene before him. He stood in silence as he leaned against the doorway of a kitchen.

A baking tray full of pink cupcakes was sitting along side baking supplies that were littered around the counter, yet his eyes drifted towards the man standing in front of it all.

Even if he couldn't see the front of it, he recognized the pink strap wrapped around him immediately, surprised he was even using it. It was a stupid apron he gave him as a 'present' awhile ago.

Jason stared at him longer than he needed to, though.

A chuckle slipped past his mouth, "I don't know what I was expecting, but it really wasn't this."

Then Jason noticed it, a knife being twirled in his hand, but he couldn't ignore the snort that was soon followed by a reply.

"Mornin' Hood."

Like it was nothing, Kyle placed it back in its stand, "Gave me a scare there, thought some other vigilante climbed in through my window."

Jason stretched his arms high as he walked towards him.

"Aww, you seeing other people?"

The other man picked up an icing bag before moving it over the final unfinished cupcake, humming all the way, "Not at the moment, no."

He licked a dinger free of icing. Jason immediately looked away when he noticed he was staring, rubbing the back of his neck while clearing his throat.

"I feel like I'm being lured into a witch's lair."

"I'll take that as a compliment." Kyle flipped over from the counter, leaning back against it. The apron he was wearing was on full display, the words 'kiss the cook' stitched into it.

He squinted his eyes at Jason.

"You look fine?"

"Why, thank you. You aren't too bad yourself." Jason pointed finger guns at him.

He stifled the laughter coming from his mouth with his hand, hiding his smile behind it. "That's not—uh—that's not what I meant."

Leaning against the counter himself, Jason crossed his arms as he listened. "Normally you only come over when you're injured, but you look okay."

"What?" Jason grabbed his arm, tugging at it as he looked up at him, "I can't visit my favorite Gothamite?"

"I'm pretty sure I'd be arrested for housing a criminal if someone caught you here."

"Funny that you think I would let that happen."

His gaze fell on the full tray, each cupcake messily decorated with candles and candy. Jason picked up one of them, getting the tips of his glove covered in icing.

"Who are these for?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Kyle pointed at himself, letting himself smile lightly. "Me."

He pulled his arm out of Jason's grasp and picked up the tray before slowly making his way across the kitchen. He opened the fridge with his leg and then settled the tray into it. It had more than enough space, as usual.

I need to remember to get him more groceries.

"As much of a sweet tooth you have, I'm pretty sure even you wouldn't eat all this."

When the door shut, he saw Kyle smiling for a moment before he covered it again.

"Good thinking, detective." He moved his hands behind his back, loosening the straps until he could slip out of the apron. A sigh left his lips, "No, most aren't actually for me."

"How generous of you." Jason rested his chin on his hand and said, "Who's the lucky donatee?"

The room descended into quiet. Kyle's smile disappeared while he leaned back, resting his head against a cabinet as he fiddled with the tips of his fingers.

"You actually." The reply came out in a whisper. However, his smile came back whilst he raised his hands.

"Happy birthday?"

Lucky me, exactly what I wanted to avoid.

It's okay. He ran his hands down his own arms just to hold something between them as he started taking deep breaths to combat his rising heartbeat.

He knew any 'normal' person would be thanking him for this, but Jason had to remind himself that he was the furthest thing from 'normal.'

Luckily, his voice didn't give in when he finally spoke again, "What—how did you know?"

A hum came from Kyle, "Oh, you mentioned it was soon when you were… badly hurt a week or so ago."

"Thought maybe it was just the pain talking at first, but still I wanted to make something just in case." He pointed at the fridge, though he didn't comment on the change in Jason's demeanor when he finally looked back. Only squinting his eyes at him.

Jason found his heartbeat picking up for new reasons when Kyle smiled down at him, leaning in close.

"Sorry if you don't like them, though." His hand hesitated over Jason for a moment before he slowly placed it on Jason's shoulder. "You could just take them to throw at the G.C.P.D. if you want. I wouldn't be against it."

I could work with this. Jason's breathing was still becoming steady again, yet he used the closeness to pull Kyle down by the collar, ruffling his hair a second later.

"You're so nice to me, snookums." The other man feigned disgust, sticking out his tongue.

"As sweet as this is, I have to ask." He leaned in to whisper in Kyle's ear. "Not that I hate it, but why are they all pink?"

Kyle's hand moved up to cover the lower half of his face. "They… only had pink frosting."

He scooped up some of the icing that was hanging off the counter, wiping it on Kyle's nose.

"I refuse to believe that."
