so, today did not go as planned. about half an hour out of the city this morning, i started getting really panicky - tight chest, shaking, etc - about the audition. by the time i reached the city, i was pretty much just freaking out. i pulled by the venue, drove around the block three times in an attempt to find parking, and, upon realising that i’d driven by a parking garage each time I’d looped, burst into tears. at that point, i felt like i was going to throw up, too. so, i ended up having to wave the venue goodbye and head home (to a gas station to calm down a little first) without even doing my audition. needless to say, i’m really upset with myself but i’m also pretty embarrassed and frustrated and just…it was not an easy nor fun morning for me at all. i am home now, still feeling pretty queasy but i am home and that’s what matters. overall, this weekend away was SO fun and i am so very happy that i was able to do all that i could. i had a really great time all of while i was gone. the concert on friday night was a blast and getting to go to devon and see the budweiser clydesdales last night was really a dream come true. i am disappointed about this morning but that doesn’t change the weekend that i had with my friends.
