i wonder if jason is so reticent to create a helicopter with shade (which people keep asking him to do because its convenient) because people he loved died in a helicopter & also his brother was like a helicopter man.

mr. North dead rip. Fun character but makes sense that hes dead.

and ive finished book 6!!! Augh ill need to write put more of my feelings later, but fantastic. Love. So good. & the time skip at the end w jason was i think a good choice even if i wouldve loved to see some of the minutia of creating jason’s sovereign nation. Its okay tho. Ill live.

nvm im writing out my thoughts now. I loved the insight into what was going on with everyone. The jory, neal, & lindy trio was fantastic even if we only got to see a little of their interaction. As well as the clive, sophie, humphry trio. LOVED the interactions between humphry & sophie. Hes got her back even when shes making bad decisions. Also stash ADORABLE. So sad that he imprinted so much on jason & how much it must hurt every time he speaks (stash pov oneshot fic of the time while jason was dead & him not understanding why everyones so sad when he talks like jason or turns into him? More likely than you think).

CLIVE MY BOY YOU ARE HEREREEEEEE. of course hes just going to lodge a complaint at the next closest magic society hq. Of course thats what hes doing. I love him so much.

and of course, our main boy who got a whole chapter just to himself: GAAAAAAARYYYYYYY. Loved his arc & how it both captures a lot of time but also how short his actual decision is to move on from his grief. Obviously his actual grieving process & backsliding & healing wasnt shown, but its interesting to see how quickly he changed his mind and started on the path of healing. Love that for him <3

anyway, gonna start book 7 today but im also doing D&D & have hw so idk how far ill be able to get 😭😔

truly i get to listen the most while at work.
